Just a tip I found on a motivation reddit (I can't remember the exact one) is to clean up your subscriptions on reddit. This is actually a really subtle and overlooked change one can do to improve themselves mentally, that is really effective! TL:DR Ask yourself is this sub making my life better or worse? Yes: add/keep, No: remove/move on

I took of memes, funny, aww etc because they go on forever and cause indefinite procrastination. That endless reddit grind into the night is not good for keeping on track.

Instead I have the typical r/fitness, r/Getmotivated, /TIL, etc for positive reinforcement of good things. It why I'm on /becomeaman! I like being part of a progressive community. You are as much as my hero as the next. I hope you deliver on your progress.

Don't forget to leave a few lively and "fun" reddits so its not all business. I have all my favourite shows sub'd like Community, GOT, breaking bad etc. and is okay because the posts tend to be episodic centered and increase my enjoyment of them very much. Plus you hit a wall much faster of "old content."

Finally I have my main inspirations. r/climbing, r/skydiving, r/hiking and camping. These are things I personally enjoy in life and am building skills and passions for. You could pick something for guitars for example.

Anyways, I took your man vcard on this reddit (not sure if thats a thing on here as i'm new too), so I'd like to be the first to wish you Good luck!

Yea I think we may have seen the same post as I've done that for the most part but procrastination on reddit is definitely an issue. I've come to have a love/hate relationship with reddit because on the one hand I learn many new things, find out new potential hobbies, and get drawn into great communities of people, but on the other hand I can end up wasting too much time haha. And thanks for the luck man I appreciate it.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
