I blew through the first 3/4 of this book in a day. It's a really easy read because it has what all of the other stupid self-help and preachy philosophical books lack: a good story. I can't wait to finish, but I got to pay the bills.

This isn't some stupid "how to pick up chicks" or "how to improve yourself book", though there are some gems of lessons in there, buried in the story of a man coming into himself. The tale will definitely appeal to the "evil Red Pill PUA" crowd, even though throughout the story, the protagonist is constantly lost, uncertain, unsure of himself, and never happy. Because as the story progresses, he learns how life works, and life isn't always certain, sure, or happy.

On the other side of the coin, for every hater of the "creepy, manipulative" PUA culture who wonders "What the hell are these guys thinking?", this book tells you exactly what the hell this guy is thinking. The protagonist begins as a very relatable character: an ugly, awkward, man-tits, timid loser who just wants to find happiness and figure this dating and woman shit out. He becomes obsessed, almost addicted, to the world of self-improvement and pick-up, losing friends and pissing off girls in the process, as he tries to bury his inner loser and pretend everything is fun, happy, and certain. Under the surface, he's just as lost and uncertain as any of us, but he goes through the motions and gets laid ... sometimes, because there's no magic formula that's going to get you laid all the time. For every girl he fucks, he probably tried his luck with hundreds, learning something from each failure.

All this amidst the backdrop of not just girls, but shitty roommates, shitty jobs, family, friends, drugs, alcohol, and a boy trying to make it in the world as he becomes a man.

Reading this book won't really make you think deep thoughts or change your life, but it's a very entertaining and very thoughtful perspective.

If you want to share it on r/theredpill that would be great. Spread the word. For some reason they downvoted me when I posted it. Not sure why they would hate on a free story.

Probably because it seems self-promotional. It also needs to be topical for the subreddit it's posted on. I'm never sure what to think when authors put their work on Amazon for free, particularly when I'm not sure what kinds of information Amazon shares with the author if I download it. The last time I downloaded a free Amazon book based on someone promoting it on reddit, I was rather disappointed by the content. I'd be more interested if you posted the book or even the first chapter on a regular website because lets me check it out with minimal hassle. The fact that it's listed as "literary humor" makes me wonder if it's just a book of laughs.

I'm a little late to the party but my question is will you be making it free again at any other point in time? And if I was to say obtain a torrented version of this novel would that have any negative impact on your "Success" or any thing of the sort?

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
