When did you identify them and what process did you go through to fix them and how did it change your life?

What advice would you provide to others seeking to do the same? Primarily for relationships... But really any important area of your life.

I'm writing a blog about how recovering blue-pills can fix their limiting beliefs and would love to make sure that what I went through is at all congruent and relevant with what others went through.

And also it might be useful for other people to read your stories to inform their own improvement.

Cheers brothers

UPDATE: - thanks your input guys, was some interesting insight

Simply: Admitted to myself what my problems were and then found solutions to those problems. Some of these problems are large and can be intimidating. Don't let it get you down, break them down into smaller parts in a methodical manner. If you've done any programming then you'll understand this immediately.

I could create a 1000 word long post filled with platitudes but the fact of the matter is that the only thing holding you back is yourself. You can read about it for years but if you don't take action, it won't mean shit.

Just.
Do.
It.

Do I really have to believe in God ? Because I am not sure I can do that.

Fist step is admitting that you have been delusional and you failed. Then you start with step one, lifting. Everything else you build from there.

A little complex but I read a book called virus of the mind. It went in depths into memetics, but one concept that stood out is called the concept of meta belief. Basically beliefs about beliefs.

Essentially what I took from that was that you can consciously decide what you believe once you realize that you already do, and once you let go of the meta belief that beliefs are the cornerstone of your identity. Replace that one with "beliefs are tools, if believing it takes from your life in a tangible way, get rid of it. If it adds to your life in a tangible way keep it".

Some people have a hard time stomaching that, things like " you can't just DECIDE what to believe, unless you admit that what you believe isn't true!!", and that's going back to the meta belief that they are set in stone. The reason that its hard is because we somehow can't conceive an identity without those beliefs. We convince ourselves that they are a part of who we are.

Since that realization I have really not had a whole lot of a hard time letting go of any "truth".

Could I convince myself that I am completely in love with a pencil then, and never need women ?

Yes. You'd be amazed at what crazier gymnastics people use to get trough the day.

The first thing I did was start questioning whether my beliefs were true. Whether my beliefs were based in reality.

I really examined them, to see if what I believed was true.

I accepted reality, and then resolved to live within that reality.

I discarded the notion that I could change other people to be what I wanted them to be.

I discarded the belief that other people needed to change to make my life better.

Everything else PALES in comparison to Large Group Awareness Training.

In three days you can destroy the limiting beliefs in any area.

Can you please elaborate? My ability to be charismatic and controlling goes down a good 40-50% in a large group setting.

Your ability to confront the story you just told me -

That's exactly what's powerful about it.

Rational emotive behavioral therapy

Took ownership of my fate and responsibility for my station.

When you realize that you and only you can decide what you are going to do, and that only you can make it happen, you are forced to sort of toss shit out that doesn't help you.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
