Red Pill TheoryA Beginners Guide: Being a Red-Pill Male (self.TheRedPill)

submitted by Yepbro

Summary

I often find myself talking to my close male friends about The Red Pill and trying to outline the teachings.

I’m going to outline what TRP is, and how you can use this knowledge to your advantage.

What is TRP?

I want to sum it up in a a paragraph.

The Red Pill is a philosophy based on the cold, hard, reality of the sexual market place. Women are at their prime in their 20s, and their sexual value starts declining at around 28. Men, on the other hand, get into their prime in their 30s. Women will spend their 20s fucking bad-boy alphas (those guys with the full sleeve tattoos, snapback caps on and a tan, who we like to call Chad Thundercock(s)), and then reach 30 and realise that Chad Thundercock won’t fuck her anymore. So, she looks for a beta provider. This is a man who will happily put this woman on a pedestal. He will make this woman his absolute mission and priority, and he will pay for everything. The woman now gets the best of both worlds. She gets her pussy filled in her prime, then gets everything easy in her 30s. When we understand this cold, hard reality, we are able to make certain changes in our own life to take advantage of the current situation of the world.

With this knowledge, how can we use this to our advantage and learn how to fuck multiple girls?

Let me break this down for you.

Lift.

You’ll find that this sub-reddit talks about lifting so fucking much. Every man should have a gym membership.

Why?

  • You will be physically stronger.
  • You will have more confidence.
  • You will look MILES better.
  • You will have a new sense of purpose and meaning in your life.
  • You will make new, male friends in the gym.
  • You have a steady stream of new women you are able to meet.
  • You learn to handle difficult situations. (Loading 200 kilograms onto your neck and squatting your ass to the floor makes handling your dick head manager a doddle, trust me).
  • Stress relief.
  • Improved posture.
  • Teaches you discipline and work ethic.

How do I begin?

  • Compound lifts. Stick with what works. Bench press, squat, deadlift, pull ups, bent over rows, shoulder press, tricep dips. Go on YouTube and look at how to perform these lifts.
  • Start with a 5 x 5 strength training program. (This is recommended not just by myself, but my strength and conditioning coach). Check out Rippetoe’s Starting Strength or Stronglifts.
  • Sleep 8 hours per night.

Nutrition

Putting the right fuel in your body will do wonders for your performance inside and outside of the gym. You will have more energy to tackle your tasks and you will reach your fitness goals, whether it’s gaining muscle or losing fat, much faster. Some people say 60% nutrition, 30% training, 10% supplementation. I say it’s 100% training and 100% nutrition. No slacking.

If you’re 18+ years of age, and you’re still regularly eating fast food and you don’t know how to cook, trust me, you’re missing out on a resourceful skill that will add years onto your life expectancy, save you money, and as mentioned, improve your performance.

If you are trying to add muscle in the beginning, you need to eat more calories than your body requires.

If you are trying to lose fat in the beginning, you need to eat less calories than your body requires.

Protein should be at a high amount (1g per pound of bodyweight), and come from natural sources, such as chicken breast, minced beef, tuna (tinned or steak), beef steak, turkey mince, salmon, eggs and nuts.

Carbohydrates should be high if you’re adding muscle, low if you’re cutting body fat. Sources should include, white or brown rice, white potatoes, sweet potatoes, pasta, quinoa and oatmeal.

Fats should be moderate. 50-100g per day. Sources should include olive oil, the fats from the meat, nuts, egg yolks, oily fish, avocados, cheese and greek yoghurt.

Game

What is game?

Game is your ability to attract and get women in your bed - something that a lot of us here at TRP only used to dream about. Game is another skill that men should learn. Once you have worked on it for a while and started seeing some success in this area, you’re never going to look back.

How do you work on game?

I remember at 20 years of age, I hadn’t been laid in 18 months. I was smoking cigarettes, drinking, taking drugs, you name it.

I watched this video of this pick up artist do this:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ddjZf7Nqbo0

I couldn’t believe my eyes. This ugly sack of shit was chatting to girls in the street, doing whatever the hell he wanted, and the girls were LOVING it.

Do you know why they were loving it? Because it never happens…

So how do you approach a girl?

You see a girl. Before that voice in your head says any of the following:

  • I’m not tall enough
  • She looks bitchy
  • She probably has a boyfriend
  • She’s in a rush
  • She’s texting
  • I feel a little tired today
  • I need to go to work
  • I can’t pull my car over to approach!
  • I need to…………

You approach.

You walk up to that girl and say any of the following:

“Hey, you looked cute and I really wanted to meet you” or “Hey, I made a deal with myself today. The first hot girl I saw, I was going to meet, and you’re the lucky girl”.

I’m telling you, it’s that simple to start a conversation with a girl.

Ask her some questions about herself. See what she’s doing in the area, see where she comes from. You’ve just made this girl's day. You are probably the cause for the most exciting thing that’s happened to her in MONTHS. Once the conversation has gone on for 3 minutes or so, tell her you have to get back to your friends and ASK FOR HER NUMBER. Always ask for the girl’s number. The worst she can say is no.

Men will look at you in admiration for doing something like this.

And guess what, girls will think you are from another planet.

And it works.

When saving her number, save it as something that you can remember from the conversation. “Hannah Espanyol Chemistry” or some shit. Make sure she sees this, and then text her later:

“Hey Hannah Espanyol Chemistry. Cool to meet you - yepbro”.

She will text you back.

“Great to meet you yepbro”

Now, the trick is here, don’t waste any fucking time doing back and forth texts. Text her this.

“Let’s meet for a drink this week. How’s Wednesday evening?”

You can’t create attraction through texts, neither can you touch her through texts. Texts are used for setting up dates and nothing else.

When you meet her for a drink, sit next to her, not opposite. Remember, it’s your job to escalate, go for the kiss, and take her home. You are the man, you are the leader.

So, you sit next to the girl. You can grab her hand, make jokes and whatever. Go for the kiss in the first 5-10 minutes. It really doesn’t matter if she rejects you the first time. The golden rule, is 2 steps forward, 1 step back. Try again in a few minutes. She can’t resist forever.

After kissing and flirting for a good period of time, and she sees turned on, the line i always use is an old PUA tactic - that’s “shock and awe”. I say things like: Jesus, I’m a man, and when you kiss my like that, I can’t help myself, I just want to throw you over my shoulder and take you home”. They love it, and it’s never once let me down.

Appearance

Let’s just go two steps back.

You’re lifting and on your strong lifts program. Your diet is on point and your cooking your meals. Your looking like a fucking God. You’ve managed to approach a few hot chips and got their numbers. One of them has agreed to go on a date with you.

Now it’s time to maximise your looks.

Let’s keep this guide as simple as possible.

You need:

  • 1 x pair of dark jeans
  • 1 x well fitting shirt
  • 1 x blazer
  • 1 x pair of Oxford Brogues
  • 1 x belt
  • 1 x watch
  • 1 x Cologne

If you’re in the UK, check out TK Maxx for jackets, shirts and jeans and Clarks for footwear.

Most men don’t know how to throw together a decent outfit. It’s not hard. Buy expensive clothes at discounted stores. That’s been my tactic for years.

Don’t be afraid to go on a sun-bed three times a week for 6-9 minutes either. You will look miles better with a tan.

If you look good, you will do so much better. Girls will find you more attractive, people will treat you better, and you will feel ten times more confident.

Summary

What makes a man valuable to a woman is his perceived sexual market value. What makes a woman valuable to a man, is her appearance and her age. She will want to be seen with a guy cooler, or as cool as her. That means getting yourself a gym membership, start approaching girls, throw a decent outfit together and start socialising more. If you want to get the hottest girls, you are going to have to increase your SMV.

Good guide overall. 1 thing I take issue with: tanning beds. Tanning regularly has been shown to massively increase cancer risk, and also it causes your skin to age faster (in other words, it'll totally backfire once you're 40).

On the other hand, putting sunscreen on whenever you spend a lot of time in the sun will help preserve your looks. That's a much better idea. I'm fine being a little pasty now if it means I'll still look good when I'm 50.

[–][deleted] 99 points100 points  (0 children)

Aye. This lad has his head screwed on.

[–]MrSnarf26 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Have you see women that spent their teens and early 20s in tanning beds? They look like old oil workers by the time they are 28.

[–]EclipsingVoid 33 points34 points  (6 children)

I'm with you. I don't give a fuck if I'm pasty. My friends tell me that I need a tan, but I'd rather rock the pasty look than risk higher chances of cancer.

[–]1dongpal 6 points7 points  (5 children)

if you didnt see the sun for months a sun bath can be healthy

[–]ColdEiric 10 points11 points  (4 children)

So pay for a vacation somewhere south. Fake tans are for proles. You got control of your wallet, don't you?

[–]1dongpal 10 points11 points  (3 children)

i do. and i know vacations are more expensive than sunbath salons..

[–][deleted]  (2 children)

[deleted]

    [–]1dongpal -1 points0 points  (1 child)

you wont get skin cancer for taking one sunbath per month, and if you do, youre ill anyway.

    [–]Wilreadit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Xeroderma pigmentosa can be a bitch

    [–]genx_rp 6 points7 points  (5 children)

But your body can't make vitamin d without uv rays so some is better than none. Just don't over do it and give yourself bed burn. Everything in moderation.

    [–]Cookiest 10 points11 points  (3 children)

You only need 15 MINUTES in the sun to get your vitamin d levels.

You can also get vitamin d supplements through a regular multi vitamin

    [–]u-r-silly 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's also common to have vitamin D added in milk.

    [–]genx_rp 8 points9 points  (0 children)

It's not that simple. The time is dependent on your latitude, the season, and your skin complexion. The darker your complexion the more time you need.

    [–]truthyego 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dude, u don't know what you're talking about.

    15mins?

    At what time of day?

    At what latitude and season?

How much body surface area exposed?

And most important, for what darkness of skin?

Stop believing the little mainstream pop articles about health, and go do some actual research. The info is out there. I mean shit there was another post about this exact topic here at TRP, literally this week.

    [–]Johknee5 5 points6 points  (16 children)

Fake baking is absolutely a horrible idea. But for those who naturally bask in the sun, there's no proof that this will make you age faster, and certainly will not cause cancer, in fact its proven to fight away most cancers.

Just wanted to put this out there... be a man when you get a tan. Do it naturally, or dont do it at all.

    [–]RPmatrix 3 points4 points  (15 children)

But for those who naturally bask in the sun, there's no proof that this will make you age faster, and certainly will not cause cancer, in fact its proven to fight away most cancers.

As a person who lives in a country with THE highest skin cancer rates in the World (Australia), I respectfully disagree ... you want data? I can get you more than you could deal with!

Just ask see my other post ITT for 'hard data' and sources

    [–]Johknee5 -4 points-3 points  (14 children)

Vitamin D is proven to be one of the greatest contributors to fighting off cancer. Regardless of what type of cancer. Now, does that mean that hyper-radiation through a sun burn is good for you? NO. Thats not what is being stated. However, for anyone to contend that the sun is "cancer causing" is certainly not listening to the right science.

For God's sake, the sun and water are the foundation of life.

    [–]RPmatrix 5 points6 points  (13 children)

Vitamin D is proven to be one of the greatest contributors to fighting off cancer

    NO it has not!

Firstly, did I say anything about Vitamin D?

    No.

We are discussing the pro's and con's of tanning, Not Vitamin D.

Next, I specifically mentioned skin cancer,, whereas you simply say "cancer", which is an extremely extensive condition propgated by many factors -- AFAIK Steve Jobs thought like you ... and we know what heppened to him! Where's your evidence to back such a generalized statement?

Vitamin D signalling pathways in cancer: potential for anticancer therapeutics. Deeb KK1, Trump DL, Johnson CS. Author information Abstract

    • Epidemiological studies indicate (not 'prove') that vitamin D insufficiency could have an aetiological role in various human cancers.

Preclinical research indicates (not Proves) that the active metabolite of vitamin D, 1alpha,25(OH)2D3, also known as calcitriol, or vitamin D analogues might have potential as anticancer agents because their administration has antiproliferative effects, can activate apoptotic pathways and inhibit angiogenesis.

In addition, 1alpha,25(OH)2D3 potentiates the anticancer effects of many cytotoxic and antiproliferative anticancer agents. Here, we outline the epidemiological, preclinical and clinical studies that support the development of 1alpha,25(OH)2D3 and vitamin D analogues as preventative and therapeutic anticancer agents.

Actually, cannabinoids are showing greater promise as anti-carcinogenics Br J Clin Pharmacol. 2013 Feb;75(2):303-12. doi: 10.1111/j.1365-2125.2012.04298.x.

    Cannabidiol as potential anticancer drug.

    • Abstract

Over the past years, several lines of evidence support an antitumourigenic effect of cannabinoids including Δ(9)-tetrahydrocannabinol (Δ(9)-THC), synthetic agonists, endocannabinoids and endocannabinoid transport or degradation inhibitors.

Indeed, cannabinoids possess anti-proliferative and pro-apoptotic effects and they are known to interfere with tumour neovascularization, cancer cell migration, adhesion, invasion and metastasization.

However, the clinical use of Δ(9)-THC and additional cannabinoid agonists is often limited by their unwanted psychoactive side effects, and for this reason interest in non-psychoactive cannabinoid compounds with structural affinity for Δ(9)-THC, such as cannabidiol (CBD), has substantially increased in recent years.

The present review will focus on the efficacy of CBD in the modulation of different steps of tumourigenesis in several types of cancer and highlights the importance of exploring CBD/CBD analogues as alternative therapeutic agents.

    https://patients4medicalmarijuana.wordpress.com/2011/01/14/several-cannabinoids-present-in-marijuana-are-proven-to-be-potent-anti-carcinogens/

A British researcher has found that cannabinoids, (a term for chemicals derived from marijuana) can kill (not 'might or may') leukemia cells, and he expects clinical trials for new medications to begin soon.

The findings, published in the October issue of the journal Anticancer Research, show that certain non-psychoactive cannabinoids "resulted in dramatic reductions in cell viability" and "caused a simultaneous arrest at all phases of the cell cycle," according to an abstract posted online.

The study tested six cannabinoids, together and independently, on leukemia cells.

Study author Wai Liu, an oncologist at the University of London's St. George's medical school, told U.S. News the chemicals displayed "potent anti-cancer activity" and, significantly, "target and switch off" pathways that allow cancers to grow.

"There's quite a lot of cancers that should respond quite nicely to these cannabis agents," Liu said. "If you talk about a drug company that spent billions of pounds trying to develop these new drugs that target these pathways, cannabis does exactly the same thing – or certain elements of cannabis compounds do exactly the same thing – so you have something that is naturally produced which impacts the same pathways that these fantastic drugs that cost billions also work on."

    http://www.usnews.com/news/articles/2013/10/24/study-cannabis-compounds-can-kill-cancer-cells

There's FAR more evidence of cannabinoids efficacy in treating "cancer" than there is for Vitamin D!

    you were saying?

    [–]Johknee5 -2 points-1 points  (12 children)

Lol dude. Everything you posted is in agreeance with my point of vitamin D being cancer fighting. Then you come out with MJ potentially being better. I'm in total agreeance that THC/CBD are great cancer fighting agents. But that doesn't have anything to do with my point. The point was being in the sun (tanning) is how we get a majority of our vitamin D. Then you went all crazy about how Vitamin D isn't as good as cannabis, which detracted from the whole point of the argument. The sun, is HEALTHY for you. Stop listening to bullshit pussy science that's trying to take nature out of man.

Please don't tell me you put on sunscreen?

    [–]RPmatrix 0 points1 point  (11 children)

Lol dude. Everything you posted is in agreeance with my point of vitamin D being cancer fighting.

    no, it does Not

you should learn to read and look up the words you don't understand before making ignorant replies

    btw: where's your Proof?

    [–]Johknee5 -2 points-1 points  (10 children)

Are you special? Both of which you posted for marijuana and vitamin D said the same thing.

Preclinical research indicates that the active metabolite of vitamin D, 1alpha,25(OH)2D3, also known as calcitriol, or vitamin D analogues might have potential as anticancer agents because their administration has antiproliferative effects, can activate apoptotic pathways and inhibit angiogenesis.

A quick Google search of "vitamin D cancer" (and this wording is being generous) shows endless results of evidence linking low-levels of Vitamin D to cancer in many forms, including skin cancer.

I'm not sure what more evidence you want. But beyond the "new-age science" we're arguing about, its pretty fucking obvious that through evolution the sun is NOT bad for us, and in fact is laughable to even consider. Especially considering that the two necessary items for LIFE are water, and sunlight.

At this point, if it hasnt soaked in... go lather your body up with some cancer causing sunscreen, and hide out in your room with your shades up. We'll see who gets skin cancer first.

    [–]RPmatrix -1 points0 points  (2 children)

you need to learn to read too

    "linking" =/=PROVEN

    [–]Johknee5 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Ohh does it?? I guess I didn't read the rules of winning Internet debates with retards on Reddit. Lol. I just linked you the search bar info for more than just one link, but endless links. You can thank me later bater. ;)

    [–]RPmatrix -1 points0 points  (6 children)

linking low-levels of Vitamin D to cancer

which is exactly what the data I posted suggested -- that You failed to comprehend/read -- you just want to argue

The data re: cannabinoids Is "conclusive/PROVEN" and NOTHING like the 'cannabinoid data (which you cleaarly did not read or understand) -- what a brilliant rocket surgeon you think you are

where are your FACTS and 'sources' showing this 'proof' yoou talk of? iF it's SO common why haven't you linked some?

I guess you're too lazy to UTFSE ... except maybe to find the porn you're into. (dicks look like rockets so they must be the same)

Wank away sunshine, you've shown me you're pretty good at it

Oh, and I think your Hamster's hungry ... better give it some sunscreen, Vitamin D rocket fuel

    [–]DamiensLust 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Though I agree with your point in the debate, and totally disagree with the guy you're arguing against, it was ridiculous and retarded of you to post a bunch of studies about the efficacy of cannabinoids in fighting cancer, and then when he rightfully pointed out that that had nothing to do with the argument (the only point of his I agreed with) to call him retarded and be incredibly condescending to him for not understanding the scientific terminology in the abstracts from the studies. That's a really fucking stupid debating tactic and it just made you look like an asshole, which was totally unnecessary considering you were actually on the right side in the original debate. You need to be at least somewhat familiar with neuroscience and pharmacology to fully grasp the studies you linked to about cannabinoids, and considering they were totally unrelated to the original debate, it seems as if you really contrived to include some studies that you understood because it's an area of interest to you, despite their relevance to the original argument being very vague & tenuous at best, and then you berate him for not being familiar with the scientific terminology in them as if that makes him retarded. It just made you look like a real asshole - just because that dude was being a dick and you were right in the original argument doesn't mean you need to debase yourself and sink to his level, that just makes you just as much of a prick as he is.

    [–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That said his point is 100% correct. As a White guy I know it. We just look damn better tanned. It enhances all the features. What it does is make you look healthy, like a guy who is outdoors and in the sun.

I dont tan for the health reasons, but I know white guys look better tanned.

Watch Arnold Schwarzeneger in his younger days tanned and when very young and untanned (training in Europe).

    [–]TheDialecticParadox 2 points3 points  (5 children)

Not true. In moderation tanning beds are fine, and an optimum way to recieve vitamin D in winter weather. People believe exposure to UV rays will cause skin cancer, but it is only when the skin is burned from over-exposure to UV rays that causes increased risk of skin cancer. UV rays are incredibly important to the proper function of our bodies and most of the general population are deficient in it due to fear of sunburn and using sunscreens.

    [–]RPmatrix 5 points6 points  (4 children)

    http://www.cdc.gov/cancer/skin/basic_info/indoor_tanning.htm

    Indoor Tanning Is Not Safe

    • Using a tanning bed, booth, or sunlamp to get tan is called indoor tanning.

Indoor tanning can cause skin cancers including melanoma (the deadliest type of skin cancer), basal cell carcinoma, and squamous cell carcinoma.

Exposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation also can cause cataracts and cancers of the eye (ocular melanoma).

    • Dangers of Indoor Tanning

Indoor tanning exposes users to two types of UV rays, UVA and UVB, which damage the skin and can lead to cancer.

Indoor tanning is particularly dangerous for younger users; people who begin indoor tanning during adolescence or early adulthood have a higher risk of getting melanoma. This may be due to greater use of indoor tanning among those who begin tanning at earlier ages.

Every time you tan you increase your risk of getting skin cancer, including melanoma. Indoor tanning also—

    • Causes premature skin aging, like wrinkles and age spots.

    • Changes your skin texture.

    • Increases the risk of potentially blinding eye diseases, if eye protection is not used.

    Facts About Indoor Tanning:

Tanning indoors is not safer than tanning in the sun.

Indoor tanning and tanning outside are both dangerous.

Although indoor tanning devices operate on a timer, the exposure to UV rays can vary based on the age and type of light bulbs. Indoor tanning is designed to give you high levels of UV radiation in a short time. You can get a burn from tanning indoors, and even a tan indicates damage to your skin.

A base tan is not a safe tan.

    FACTS:

A tan is the body’s response to injury from UV rays. A base tan does little to protect you from future damage to your skin caused by UV exposure. In fact, people who indoor tan are more likely to report getting sunburned.

The best way to protect your skin from the sun is by using these tips for skin cancer prevention.

Indoor tanning is not a safe way to get vitamin D.

Although it is important to get enough vitamin D, the safest way to do so is through what you eat.

Tanning harms your skin, and the amount of UV exposure you need to get enough vitamin D is hard to measure because it is different for every person and also varies with the weather, latitude, altitude, and more.

    Statistics

Studies have shown consistently that indoor tanning increases a person’s risk of getting skin cancer, including melanoma.

    • A meta-analysis (a research study that looks at data from other studies) by Boniol and colleagues in 2012 combined findings from studies conducted in Europe, Australia, and the United States.

The meta-analysis shows a link between indoor tanning and melanoma.

Another meta-analysis published in 2014 by Colantonio and colleagues reconfirmed the association between indoor tanning and melanoma, and also found that newer tanning beds were not safer than older models.

    • A 2014 study by Wehner and colleagues estimated that more than 400,000 cases of skin cancer may be related to indoor tanning in the United States each year—causing 245,000 basal cell carcinomas, 168,000 squamous cell carcinomas, and 6,000 melanomas.

    • A 2010 study by Lazovich and colleagues in the United States found that the risk of getting melanoma increased the more years, hours, or sessions spent indoor tanning.

According to the data from the 2013 Youth Risk Behavior Surveillance System, many teens are indoor tanning, including—

    • 13% of all high school students.

    • 20% of high school girls.

    • 27% of girls in the 12th grade.

    • 31% of white high school girls.

According to the 2010 National Health Interview Survey, indoor tanners tended to be young, non-Hispanic white (NHW) women. A closer look at the data showed the following rates of indoor tanning among NHW women—

    • 32% of those aged 18 to 21 years.

    • 30% of those aged 22 to 25 years.

    • 22% of those aged 26 to 29 years.

    • 17% of those aged 30 to 34 years.

How much more "scientific Proof" do you need?

    [–]TheDialecticParadox -2 points-1 points  (3 children)

    Way to copy and paste.

The entire argument of this article can be refuted by simply interchanging 'indoor tanning' with sunlight. Yes indoor tanning increases risk for skin cancer but so does sunlight. Do people avoid the sun and hole up inside their whole lives? No. If they did they would die.

Nowhere in your source is there evidence that indoor tanning is more dangerous than tanning outside. Because it isn't.

    [–]RPmatrix 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, in many Asian countries, being tanned is considered a sign of being poor and having to work outside --- Only rich people can 'afford to' stay indoors (and stay 'white'!)

This advice is perfect. There is no such thing as a healthy tan. Skin only ever tans as a direct causal consequence of solar-induced DNA mutation. If you are interested, the most common mutation is called thymidine photodimerisation.

Just make sure to supplement with vitamin D. Fat-based D3 is best. That way - you get the vital D without the hugely-ageing UV - the best of both worlds.

I watched 5 minutes of that video, and if your daygame is anything like that guy's then you should never, under any circumstances, practice within a few miles of where you live, and you definitely shouldn't film it and put it on the internet. I'm all for practicing, and I'm all for failing, but Jesus that's some cringeworthy shit. He's effeminate, he qualifies himself to them from start to finish, he treats them like a prize for having done nothing, and he generally paints himself as the loser that he is, a slightly overweight guy with weird hair and an unsuccessful PUA youtube channel. He might have gotten numbers, but that is not girls "loving" you. Most of those were girls hoping he'd go away or enjoying the attention, but not looking at the encounter with any degree of seriousness. Notice how they don't engage the conversation more. They don't flirt with him or throw him any compliments, but they laugh and soak up his compliments. It's a lovely dose of validation for them, and that's it. It's the flirting version of the friendzone. That's daygame failing, and if he got their numbers it's only because they wanted him to go away. PUA operates on the principles that you can have nothing going for you and still get girls. It's idiotic. Instead, try having life on your side with success, looks, and social status. You won't need dumb tricks like that to get a girl's number on the street. You'll make eye-contact, know she's open to an approach, and then you'll decide if it's worth it. You won't need a dumb opener saying she's "so beautiful" because you'll have something of substance to say to her based on whatever made you decide it was worth it to go over. At that point, it's not PUA anymore. You're just living your life.

Also, this post is redundant. This is why we have the sidebar. It's also quite surface level stuff. Keep reading, then stop and live your life for a few months, and then read on again and you'll start to understand TRP as a philosophy rather than a boost to your SMV.

    [–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I agree completely, the way he was approaching them made me cringe hard, it is very likely that the chicks laughed at him afterwards.

RP-Doctor. I want you to think about this from a different perspective. Your points are valid, but you're clearly way more experienced than 19 year old yepbro was.

Imagine a 19 year old, who has had very little experience with women and has had a massive dry spell. Imagine him stumbling across that video and seeing that you can actually go up to a girl, talk to her and ask her for her number. Furthermore, it's a video. I can actually SEE someone doing it. Text can only go so far.

The content is irrelevant. Some of the newbies (this is a beginners guide) could watch that video, and it provide them with that small nudge of motivation to get them to approach.

    [–]Magnetosis 15 points16 points  (1 child)

I think RSDTyler would be better for them. He's a short balding ginger, but he has a great life and dresses very well. He also lifts, although he's far from jacked. Despite not having traditional qualities of attractiveness he works very hard through other avenues to achieve a high SMV. He's also in my opinion far less effeminate when dealing with women.

Honestly, once you go RP you won't want anything to do with PUA. It sounds cheesy and over-dramatic to put it this way, but you won't need it. Seriously, if you embrace RP fully, and not just the stuff that gets you laid (though ultimately it all gets you laid), you're going to be busy all the time. Just by living you'll amass more girls than you can actually juggle at once while also pursuing things that are meaningful to you. I've never read more than a few articles of PUA material in my life, yet in the past three weeks I've gotten 30 girls' numbers. Honestly, just for shits and giggles. I called 3. I fucked 2, and I've still got a steady plate who wants nothing but sex until either one of us goes exclusive with someone else. I've got more than enough sex, and now sex comes when I want, and no more. I'm not concerned with it. That's what you want. You want such a reliable supply of girls, that instead of shaping your life around sex, you focus your entire life around your passions, and sex is just another hobby that you partake in when you want.

Hey man Im really confused by your comment. I read MM a very long time ago and see very little crossover to GLL. IIRC, MM is indirect approaching and utilises different tools such as social proof, group dynamics, and has a specific set of sequences. I am one of the original members of GLL and I only had 5 lays up to me joining GLL after 3 years of doing Pua stuff like Juggler, Sinn, Brad P but was overkill and did not get results for me. But now 2.5 years after GLL I have lays in the upper 30 range so its hard for me to say GLL is bad game when that is what has gotten me laid and a few of my IRL friends who are also in his community.

Where I don't see any crossover is that GLL is about building up your physical attraction with a lot of the back-end work (working out, style, tan, white teethe, cool vibe) and then screening girls who are Sexually available and DTF and quick escalating from there (what he calls aggressive guy game). He doesnt focus on turning cold chicks into numbers and stuff like that.

Its hard to call it game when his board consists of people getting tons of lays

Hey man I see what you are saying I feel like those kind of break downs are a way of backwards rationalising a success. He could have had the same chain reaction of events in the approach where hes backing up with her and saying different things but if it was a different girl she may have blown him out because he wasnt her type or she didnt like the way he was talking to her. But RSD never shows their blow outs where they think they have solid game.

Point is, whay they call calibration on their sets that they pull is just the numbers game anyway. But you're right that everyone is following a form of MM but theres no point in seeing it that way cause its mechanical and weird and does not account for the variables outside your control (She actually likes her bf, she just had sex yesterday and doesnt want it today, you aren't her type, shes not dtf, etc...)

            [–]ColdEiric 0 points1 point  (3 children)

His game is not about calibration. GLL is a numbers game of not quitting. He doesn't stop trying.

Mystery calibrates, if that's your kind of thing.

            [–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (2 children)

Personally, I think making pick up a numbers game is a foolish move. It's time consuming and exhausting. I don't want to spend my afternoons wandering around town approaching girls and getting rejected 75% of the time. I did much better making no specific effort to go out and find girls, and instead just learning how to spot interest from a girl. If you look good, you should spot a very interested girl in your league approximately once every 10 minutes while doing things like running errands. Learning to spot those cues and then learning to hold frame and simply be confident and approach the situation like a person (rather than a programmed machine thinking of a girl as a "set"), I get at least a 75% success rate.

            [–]Yepbro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

            [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good response: If you're of innately high value, you don't need to look for women, they'll demonstrate interest in you. Beautiful women go to the gym, the grocery, the park, etc., just like you do. What separates you from the pack is your obvious SMV, style, posture, and willingness to confidently approach regardless of the setting.

            [–]truthyego 0 points1 point  (1 child)

By calibration I assume you mean smoothness and/or funny man game?

He basically proves that it's more important to get physical quickly than to be mr suave comedian. He picks up women mostly with just small talk, and physical escaltion. Screening game.

Also, this post is redundant. This is why we have the sidebar. It's also quite surface level stuff.

I respectfully disagree, /u/YoBro has succinctly and clearly covered issues, that whilst they maybe in the sidebar, have not been explained this way; the OP has provided a concise, more comprehensible and easily digested synopsis for the 'newer members' (as the OP suggests below) than much of the older, more esoteric RP information the sidebar is filled with (BUT is not necessarily as easily understandable to a young guy with little life experience to refer it to/with).

I guess I'm not alone thinking this and I'm very pleased to see the mods in their wisdom have chosen to 'sticky' it -- IMO it's like a resimplified RP 101

IMO TRP is a 'work in progress', and it's far from finished. We need to acknowledge this and accept the 'sidebar' information is not the 'be all and end all' of RP knowledge and can be improved upon, which I think the OP has done admirably with this post

I also think we need to begin a method of clarification re: the 'level' of RP information provided, i.e. there's a big difference between "learning about Game" and leaning how to implement it. i.e from Game level 101 to having a solid Frame and Great "Pro Game" which is Game level 1001.

Just as "get fit, get lifting and learn to eat well" is great advice BUT it's not something anyone learns overnight, and the new guys here can be overwhelmed by the plethora of information in the sidebar and without a more experienced 'mentor' to help them 'get it' (and how to cope with the guaranteed knockbacks and misunderstanding which will occur)

I have been mentoring a 17yo guy for about 8mths now and I KNOW had I not been there to help him comprehend what's meant by various RP ideologies as well as giving him support to "hang in here bro" when it doesn't seem to be 'working', he recently told me he probably would've given TRP away as he told me recently.

He's become a whole new man as the result of TRP and the 'clarification and support' I've given him re: things RP and Life in general.

This post by the OP will now be one of my 'go to posts' when guiding new guys here about RP basics -- IMO it should be the new 'RP 101' sidebar post

Thanks for the Great OP, OP! :D

Somewhat new Red Piller here - for the most part the questions I've had about improving my SMV have been easy to find on this sub, however, you mentioned "posture" under the "Why?" So my question, any pointers on improving posture, particularly for someone who has spent way too much time looking at a computer screen? I've youtubed things, found a few videos that may or may not be helpful, but still looking for something that can explain why this method works with some concrete evidence.

                [–]ManOfGrapes 20 points21 points  (2 children)

The compound lifts he describes will improve your posture immensely. Stretch everyday, and when you stand squeeze your shoulder blades slightly together. I've also found that not looking at the ground as much when I walk was something I had to kick to improve my posture.

                [–]CrodudeClassic 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Got it, I plan on continuing going to the gym and lifting, so that part shouldn't be a problem. However, I'm glad you mentioned the shoulder-blade pinching, I know I've heard that at some point but haven't given it any thought in quite awhile.

                [–]-OMGZOMBIES- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A trick I use is that your hands should hang directly to the side, with your thumbs pointing forwards. This will help you to keep your shoulders "back" properly and remove the hunched over, folded up appearance a lot of men have.

I was also told one time in the military to "puff my chest out" and "grow big." It's silly advice, but it also helps you to keep your posture in check.

                [–]OilyB 10 points11 points  (0 children)

/u/crodudeclassic Massage therapist here - for posture optimization I advise to stretch the pecs and abs so as to create room for the upper back muscles to stand the torso straight more easily. And then I advise to 'tuck the lower tips of the shoulder blades into your (pants') back pockets'.

This way you do 3 things all at once -

                1. Lower the shoulders

                2. Slightly retract the shoulders

                3. Straighten the mid back

Building charisma is the hardest part for most newbies, because it's one of the only elements (next to lifting) which cannot be solved by simply breaking out your wallet.

You can buy yourself a new outfit, or a new hair style - but you can't get a new personality without practicing (and failing), and it's the embarrassment of failure that newbs fear.

I would love to hear more on this. I do well with women I have an in with, friend of friend and all that, but I have limited success on cold approach despite repeating the same behaviors. A buddy of mine says I have "shark eyes." He says I have no sense for what constitutes a comfortable amount of eye contact and it intimidates people I don't know. It works with relative strangers, but somehow the effect is different with cold contact.

Do you realize how many people here hit the gym, fix their wardrobe, and cold approach women until the cows come home? Not saying that for some it could easily be that simple, but what comes after the pickup? How do you keep her craving for more of your cock? How do you handle yourself for the pickup turned relationship that's starting to show its ugly side? What's your answer for when she can't get Chad out of her head and the desires for other men are too much for her to handle?

This isn't a beginner's guide to The Red Pill. It's simple pickup. It's barely that, either. This is why real beginners are asked to read the sidebar - because you can't really condense TRP to a checklist of "things to do to guarantee success with women".

This guide misses most of the things that make a man valuable.

Better clothes? Going to the gym? Learning how to approach a girl? This isn't the seduction sub. You might as well have sent the beginners of TRP there. You make it sound like TRP is mainly about getting laid, and as such, you're making women your top priority. That's the #1 thing we SHOULDN'T have as our priority. Doing so destroys your value and attractiveness. It distracts you from attaining your goals. You're misleading everyone here. What about an education? A better career? Learning to stick to your habits, values and beliefs? Discipline? The only thing in this thread that's distinctly TRP is your summary. Everything else can be found in seddit.

The Pick-Up-Artist community is a community devoted to women. They have made women their top priority. Sure, you can learn how to get girls with PUA (I know I have). But you'll end up unhappy as fuck in the end when all you know how to do is manipulate them into believing you're alpha when you're really not. It's like slapping on a bandaid to a gunshot wound.

The difference between TRP and PUA is that TRP believes women just come along for the ride, while we attain our personal goals and reach our destination. PUA makes women the destination.

TRP isn't about getting girls. It's about self-improvement, learning the reality of society and how to use this knowledge to your advantage.

Did you even READ the sidebar? If TRP was entirely about getting girls, that's a pretty shitty 'sexual strategy' since you're not increasing your SMV. This is why all those PUA techniques are bullshit. It's all superficial. Gym? Better clothes? Learn how to kino-escalate? Sure. But you're nowhere near the success of a guy who's worked on himself in terms of discipline, education and career. Not to mention that it's a pretty shitty way of going about life. I mean really? Your main goal is to get laid? Sounds like the dream of a 14 year old child.

Lol of course. That's mostly TRP.

I bet the disciplined, educated and successful Elon Musk could have better results in his love life than that basic club bitch who's about to cash that money he worked hard to get.

He's beta as fk. We both agree on it. Why does his success take away from anything? TRP is full-on self-improvement. Musk just hasn't improved his love life. Elon Musk's SMV is still miles higher than yours, even if he's getting fked over by his wife, so I don't even understand what you're arguing.

From the sidebar==>the definition of TRP: "The Red Pill: Discussion of sexual strategy in a culture increasingly lacking a positive identity for men."

Oh cool, I can also just read a small summary on the sidebar. How about the actual reading? Hah. Doubt it. Otherwise you wouldn't be arguing.

                        [–]ColdEiric -1 points0 points  (0 children)

TRP is about ability to get girls. If you can't, you're less than trash.

If you're a nerd who can, but want someone worth marrying instead of a dim slut, then you wouldn't try to take a shit on this guide. If you're one of those nerds, you agree with this list.

Texting is subjective in my opinion. If you're doing pick up in the context you described, you're 100% correct that you cannot create attraction through texts. But there's another side to that.

It depends on your age group. I'm 18 (Edit: whoops my bday was a few days ago) and unfortunately texting is absofuckinglutely everything. Group chats are everywhere. I'm in more than I can count. With Snapchat, who snaps who is important. It all now adds to your smv. Stupid shit like Instagram can raise or lower your smv. How many likes you get, followers, how mang people you snap, ect. It's like a new change in the dynamic of smv.

For me personally, I text often, but less than other guys. I do it more than TRP suggests, but less than every other guy my age. Group chats I'll answer periodically and be the guy in there that says something funny but then doesn't answer when people call me. It's manipulative but it works.

I post pictures on Instagram but instead of begging for likes like other guys do I just don't give a fuck. Girls see that as different my age.

I snap girls very often, but open the snaps and don't answer for a while. Some days I'll answer often. I'll put interesting stuff on my story while not answering girls. They wonder why I have the time to do that but not snap them back. They'll send me two snaps to see if they can get a response. Sometimes they just stop snapping because they think I don't care, but that's the catch because I don't actually care.

I do believe in certain situations and in the right context you can build attraction. But it is very very true that there are plenty of situations where you can't.

This is a very solid post mrthrowaway413 - and I think a guide on this would be EXTREMELY valuable.

A lot of RP guys deem social media a waste of time, however, if you play the social media game right, you get pussy. Period. Write a guide!

I've been considering it but I've been putting it off. With your comment I'll be making one tonight, thanks for the encouragement.

                        [–]DankruptAMA 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Anyone have any other similar videos as the one mentioned in the OP? The comments on that video degrade it by pointing out the fact that he puts the females on a pedestal. What's the alternative and how do you reserve yourself and keep her attention without putting her on a pedestal?

                        [–]Alopex_RP 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Using the first approach as an example:

"He's putting them on a pedastal" That's a cliche response. The guy has to be direct in showing his interest as this is daygame. He has clearly gone out of his way to talk to this girl, which already shows a lot of interest. If he tried to "reserve himself" after showing such strong interest he would appear inauthentic. It wouldn't work.

Instead he negs the girl once he finds out she is a model. "That actually lowers you in my eyes a little bit". Most guys would probably compliment a girl on this.

Together the statements of direct interest and negs works as a push-pull PUA technique.

For anyone looking for protein sources with less saturated fats/cholesterol: Lentils/Black Beans, Oatmeal, Chia Seeds, Nuts/Nut Butters. Just make sure you're still packing the calories when bulking.

I think a lot of the detractors of this article don't realize what the purpose of this post is - this post is meant for true beginners and TRP newbs. Basement dwelling losers and ultra blue pillers and the likes.

I like the post, I have said many times that so many questions on this sub can be answered with one word - "Lift".

One problem I had was this:

“Let’s meet for a drink this week. How’s Wednesday evening?”

My philosophy is to never ask. Instead of saying "How's Wednesday Evening" you tell her when and where. By asking you are entering her frame. By stating, you have to have her enter your frame.

                        [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Meet me for a drink, Wednesday at 8:00." definitely has a much more masculine tone to it.

If she was going to say no to you no matter what, it doesn't matter how you frame it, but if she was on the fence something as small as this could make the decision for her.

Also, it's much easier to reject a "yes/no" proposition than a command-style statement like that. Making it easy for her to say no is counter-productive, obviously.

                        [–]1PantsonFire1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

When it comes to appearance just find your own style. Make sure you fit to some unique type. It's better to be the Jersey Shore douche with the Tan and the golden necklace than being some bland joe.

I always liked urban clothing styles with a very personal item mixed in between. Makes you look distinguishable. It also reflects who I am and where I come from (in town). To many chaps just mix and match popular brands they found on Instagram. Make sure your clothing has some direction.

You learn to handle difficult situations. (Loading 200 kilograms onto your neck and squatting your ass to the floor makes handling your dick head manager a doddle, trust me).

The vast majority of trained people will never do a single 200 kg ATG squat.

                        [–]DarkExecutor 1 point2 points  (2 children)

You only need 1g of protein per kg of bodyweight not per pound.

                        [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This depends on a lot of factors (e.g. age, bodyfat %, activity level, etc.) and is still not really settled science. Experiment and go with what works best for you.

I would like to add: DANCING: it will ger you laid no matter what you look like, be a good dancer (salsa, merengue, bachata, swing) you ll get pussy. If pussy is your pain focus forget the gym, hit dancing schools 5 times a week.

Can anyone expand on the idea behind going for the kids within the first 10-15 mins of the date?

I thought it was all about calibration, going for it once you feel it's right.

But this idea makes me think when you go for it within 10 mins, your goal isn't getting a kiss, it's setting the tone. It's saying "I'm here to make things happen". So even if you get rejected, your still miles ahead than if you didn't try because there's no ambiguity now. She's knows you mean business and your not afraid to just try.

Am I right in thinking that? So within the first 10 minutes, on a high note after you've made her laugh or something, just go for it?

                        [–]Yepbro[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Mark Manson does an incredible job of explaining this - way better than I could. Check it out here cazzah123: http://markmanson.net/shut-up-and-kiss-her

Funnily enough there's been a few times in my life where with the help of alcohol I've done this and it's worked, but I always played it off as a fluke.

I need to start doing this more. If we are on a date, she's already somewhat interested. Just go for it

To me, men do increase in value when they are 30, but only if they don't fuck up their younger years. Also, I wouldn't recommend a tanning bed, if you want tan-ish skin then be more active outside during the summer. I do agree with the rest though and for fashion don't be afraid to get a pair of sunglasses.

I would also recommend looking up the relevant subreddits too like wickededge, malefashionadvice, etc. And read the fucking sidebar as well as books recommended by the red pill. No reason why you can't be educated while you undertake this journey.

                        [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

When you talk about expensive clothing at discount stores do you mean thrift stores like a Value Village? Confused about that one.

                        [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think he's talking about second-hand stores, where you can find name-brands and nice clothing that's often barely used (especially if you find one in a good, wealthy neighborhood, where people are more like to just pitch clothing regardless of condition). Good way to selectively improve your wardrobe with minimal investment.

Money and a good career helps too.

Also, and this sounds kinda odd, as a straight man you should make a gay male friend/acquiesce.

                        [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

                        Could you elaborate on this?

                        [–]mgbkurtz 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What, on the gay friend thing? If a straight male ever needs a confidence boost, a gay male can get that for you. Straight men are the hunted in casual social settings where they are in the minority which can be fun. Also, they are certainly more fashion friendly than your straight friends male and female.

Don't talk to your friends about the red pill, make your actions seem effortless unless you're talking to your Dad maybe or someone who will always have your back even if you fall out.

If you tell a buddy about your methods then he'll lose respect for you and possibly stop trusting you, it's not his fault it's just subconscious/human nature. If you make your methods look effortless then you look 10x cooler.

Bro, I'm not even big into the Red Pill and I can tell you that these are some cringe worthy lines...If you even manage to have a girl talk to you after that, it's because of sympathy or awkwardness.

In my opinion, you don't have to explain yourself. No need to justify or give reasons why you approached her. Break the ice with something short and simple. I usually do this by complimenting her with something she is wearing i.e. "That's a nice sweater" or compliment her looks "You have nice hair".
