First woman in Alaska charged with child pornography receives no jail time

A former Alaska woman who was sexually abused by her paternal grandfather and then, as an adult, downloaded and traded videos of child exploitation has avoided any jail.

Right away, they establish that she is a victim. We can't treat her like other sick perverted people who possess and trade child porn, because she was a victim. Waaaaaaahhhh!!! no mention of the children who were victimized in making the porn she collected and distributed, though

Brittany Alexandra Robinson, 25 was the first woman in Alaska to be charged with possessing and distributing child pornography, according to Anchorage police.

A former day care worker at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Robinson received a prison-free sentence on Thursday. Superior Court Judge Kevin M. Saxby agreed with Robinson’s public defender that three years in prison, with three suspended, and five years of probation was appropriate.

A childcare worker? She had daily access to children, think about that.

I'd like someone to find me one example of a man who possessed child porn and was given a suspended sentence. Most pedophiles were victims of abuse themselves, but that is never accepted as an excuse. Unless you're a woman, apparently.

Alexander said the case presented prosecution challenges because Robinson was both “a victim as a child and an offender as a young woman "in fairly short order.”

“This gives us the opportunity to understand in a very direct fashion the long-term consequence that an adult’s exploitation of a child has on that child as the child grows older, and that’s what we’re seeing here with Ms. Robinson,” Alexander told the court.

Saxby said Robinson’s behavior was compulsive and wrong. But he said the evidence showed that the defendant’s acquisition of child pornography was not for her own gratification but rather “it was more exploratory.”

That’s how her public defender described the behavior too.

“Ms. Robinson wasn’t looking at these images for sexual gratification. It was more that she identified with the victims in the case,” Torres said.

She wasn't getting off on the child porn, she was identifying with the victims!! See, she's a victim!!!

I'd love to see a man try to make that same argument. They'd bury him beneath the jail. But because she's a woman, she gets off.

For the love of God, follow through with this. The feminist cunt tears would be so delicious.

You could make your own thread about it.

TFW you're told you're a misogynist for defying your female slavemaster. Feminist stage 10.

Somehow, I think it never ends. until it becomes, thankfully, unsustainable.

Don't even say it was a man; don't give away the sex of the person at all and let them assume it's a man until the last minute.

    [–]Kalepsis 80 points81 points  (16 children)

This. Use non-gender specific terms, like "the defendent", and just the last name.

    [–]Psychoptic 37 points38 points  (1 child)

Start out with "An Alaskan resident recently..."

I would say that's unfortunate, but you should know better than to expose your real opinions, especially to a group of mixed-gender college age people. It's not a bad thing that you want to share this information, but do so anonymously. Being that guy in class who constantly throws unsavory facts in the faces of the feminists and saying, "See? I told you so!" is not going to do you any favors.

This is the church of the Red Pill, where we congregate safely to discuss our beliefs. But like Jesus said of religion, it should be a private thing, not to be shouted from the mountaintop. Being too public about your beliefs makes you a target.

        [–]vagbutters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Beta males envy alphas, and women would rather share an alpha than fuck a beta. Even if you hold opinions contrary to their's, a good body and amiablity mean that you're respected or loved.

        [–]ioncehadsexinapool 5 points6 points  (5 children)

Can you believe that people have to "come out" as a trump supporter?

        [–]Kalepsis 5 points6 points  (4 children)

        Yes.

But I'm not going to comment further on that. Politics should stay separate from sexual strategy.

        [–]vagbutters 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Bingo. There's some pertinence when it comes to being openly anti-PC or anti-feminist, but when you have people here stating ridiculous shit like "Trump is an alpha," it becomes facetious

        [–]MisterRegio 1 point2 points  (1 child)

He's a beta cosplaying as an alpha.

No. What doe she have to lose? What are they going to do? Pick his lunch? Their shit to begin with. So at-least maybe he puts the light on and discovers who's not a total shit head and can reciprocate respect amidst the madness.

        [–]Kalepsis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Law 38. Think as you like, but act like others.

What can they do? In a college setting, women can cry rape with no evidence whatsoever and ruin this guy's future, simply because they don't like him. Better to keep your mouth shut, believe your beliefs, live confident amongst the oblivious, and move into a high-dollar career than martyr yourself.

        [–]shortback 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would still be easy to guess when they avoid saying he or she.

        [–][deleted] 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Bro, you absolutely must make a post about this. Update us for sure, man.

        [–]lencc 11 points12 points  (0 children)

May I inform you that if you pretend it's a man (or "defendent") case, they might afterwards just say that female deserves to go to jail as well. It will however have to be quite a bitter confession - if there are any biased folks in your class.

In any case, you are welcomed to report the "results" at the end. :)

P.S. If someone from the class already knows this story and will try to correct you, you can just pretend vehemently that you're talking about a different example etc.

        [–]tuxedoburrito 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I'm in a sociology class as well.

It's like r hamsters every class period.

Agreed, highly unique field report material.

        [–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 13 points14 points  (0 children)

        Nice!

Can you do an intermediate Q+A where you get them to say how dreadful it is that he didn't get a sentence before the big reveal?

Forces them to be more honest about their changed perceptions.

        [–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I wish I had more people like you in my college classes. I would pay to see the reaction lol.

        [–]shortback 6 points7 points  (1 child)

I suspect strongly that they will simply all deny together that they even thought that. They might look shocked for a second maybe but that's it.

        [–]ioncehadsexinapool 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Maybe ask everyone to write down what they think on a piece of paper, collect them all. And then reveal the gender muahahha

        [–]mister_dice 4 points5 points  (0 children)

If you'd write here about the reactions of the class it would be very appreciated.

        [–]SACRlion[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Do it, and report back here!! Sounds like an amazing idea, honestly.

Please make a thread about this experiment. I would love to hear about this. I wish I was RP a year ago when I was taking that same class and also had to do the same thing weekly.

            [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh please do this and get a friend to film it if you can...

            [–]PIGamer86 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You must give a report afterwards. Good, bad, doesn't matter.

Is it acceptable to be interactive with the class? Like this:

Ask them write down their thoughts to be turned in to you immediately after learning what the defendant did. Don't require names so they'll be comfortable in their anonymity.

Give the defendants back story, repeat the paper turn in.

Repeat after the gender reveal, maybe reveal a picture and name by posting large printed photo on whiteboard.

            Compare, contrast, and invite discussion.

            [–]Recioman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

don't say it's a man, say "a person from alaska", then towards the end say her name and just enjoy the looks on the faces of the class. enjoy the question "wait, brittany?", enjoy answering "yes, brittany, she's a woman"

“Ms. Robinson wasn’t looking at these images for sexual gratification. It was more that she identified with the victims in the case,” Torres said.

              What. The. Actual. Fuck.

This has to be the single most retarded line of defense I've ever heard. And you're telling me the judge actually bought that!?

              [–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 57 points58 points  (5 children)

A lot of judges are old betas, always married, totally enmeshed in the blue pill world, that have never seen the true sexual nature of women.

You see it a lot in rape cases, where the judge is on record denying that any women would have been sexually forward / interested / have a ONS / etc based on the ego-centric view that because his wife is frigid with him that all women are basically asexual.

              [–][deleted] 13 points14 points  (3 children)

              This is a frightening realization.

              [–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 9 points10 points  (1 child)

I made this realisation based on both the verdicts and the words said by judges to men accused of rape. They fully pedastalise women and have absolutely no conception that a woman might actively crave sex, or be forward about it, or be willing to engage in it, or might change her mind about the responsibility for it after the fact, or cheat on her boyfriend with a more attractive man.

              [–]tb87670 5 points6 points  (0 children)

But it's a very accurate description of the sort of thinking in our court system. That is why you never cooperate with police, always be smarter than the guys serving papers (never respond to anyone asking your name in public) and remember the system is designed to grind men down into nothing no matter how right or wrong you are.

              [–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am in the legal profession. Your comment is incorrect, there are just as many red pill judges as their are betas. I would even say that as an occupation, judges are more red pill than your average profession (they are extremely alpha). The media just draws attention to comments made by judges which will sell papers. Overall judges are smarter and wiser than other people and they see through bullshit (this is why they are judges). So while your comment may be correct about this judge, the generalisation is wrong.

              [–]stemgang 11 points12 points  (0 children)

They climbed in her head and saw niceness and flowers.

I have to say, since finding TRP and seeing feminism from America through Reddit, I had no fucking idea it could get so ridiculous. I live in the UK and always been a 'leftie' but never ever seen the level of hypocrisy here compared to American lefties.

Since TRP I've definitely noticed it more here but again, it's nothing compared to the USA.

I know man and I know you're from the UK. But it's nowhere near in our face than in the US from what I can tell.

And that's just an opinion piece. Under Tory rule and going ahead with brexit you can see most people follow the right wing media here, the left is more of a minority, especially the stupid left like that piece you posted.

                [–]LuvBeer 9 points10 points  (3 children)

Dunno, I've been in London a year and it's pretty blatant. I get City AM on the way to work. You'd think a financial paper would be free of feminist propaganda, nope. Also, white English women are very obviously used to doing whatever the fuck they feel without any repercussions.

                [–]1empatheticapathetic 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I honestly love London. I'm not white and London is the only place I don't get treated differently to everyone else. I've been there a bunch recently for different job interviews and I have encountered a lot of 'feminist' attitudes. It's actually blown me away; nowhere else in the country could people get away with such an attitude, they wouldn't last a second.

                [–]LuvBeer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a non-white buddy who says he loves london because he can blend in and no one gives him a second look. UK society is still strongly traditional compared to others, so women get preferential treatment, nothing wrong with that per se. But they've also imported the worst of toxic "you go girl" ideology from the US so there is a constant PR barrage on the pay gap, how white men should be replaced etc.

Just think about the precedent this sets. Female pedophiles may never do time. It's legitimately terrifying.

Combine this with the ability to change gender at will, and you have NAMBLA's dream come true.

That's right: you're not a man due to your Y chromosome; you're whatever gender you feel like pretending to be, that day.

I'm willing to bet that if you were born with a dick, the law will treat you like a man forever.

Nah, being a male is just a minor genetic defect. You can have that thing removed like a wart.

They already don't. Look at cases of teachers fucking their students.

If it's a male teacher, he will lose his job/career, go to jail for years and be on some sex offenders list forever.

If it's a female teacher she will (maybe) lose her job and get a 'don't do that again' from the courts.

I wonder what would happen if a man who sexual identifies as a women is caught with child porn.

B..b..but she made a "heartfelt expression of remorse".

                            As the judge made clear:

"“I do find good prospects for rehabilitation here based on the evaluation that was provided to me and the testimony I have heard, including Ms. Robinson’s short, but I’m convinced, heartfelt, expression of remorse,” Saxby said before imposing the sentence."

Facts don't matter. It's all about feeelings.

                            So.

Here we feel the unfairness of the world.

What are you, individually going to do about it?

                            [–]Kalepsis 18 points19 points  (1 child)

This is the real lesson to be learned here. 99.9999% of us are in no position to have any significant effect on the way the world is, nor will we ever. The only thing we can do as individuals is to live our lives, vote once in a while, and learn to accept the fact that we live in a fucked up society so we can adjust the manner in which we, as men, approach it.

We've been officially warned that this is the way things are, gentlemen. Deal with it.

                            [–]stemgang 9 points10 points  (0 children)

And let other men know the reality, and to make sure they DO NOT MARRY.

I have a story to contribute. From another thread:

Wife started an affair with a female student she taught when student was 15. There is no proof that there was anything sexual occurring before student finished school, but student and wife moved in together, although wife told me that I should be jealous of their relationship. There are pictures of them standing together in front of gay pride flags and student kissing wife on cheek, but nothing more overt in terms of sexual demonstration. Student and (now ex-) wife got married as soon as student dropped out. Wife quit (was very likely forced to resign, but obviously that cannot be determined).

None of that, amazingly, is illegal or even affects her right to parent according to the legal system we have gone through. Attorney said, essentially, that unless there was actual documented (text, email) admission by wife that the affair had occurred while student was underage and was sexual in nature, there would not be any evidence that could be brought against wife.

Ex-wife is now a pre-k teacher. She has a completely clean record.

                            This is pretty serious.

                            • Possession of child pornography is vehemently prosecuted in the USA. If your computer is searched and they find child pornography, you're going to have to make a strong case that you didn't knowingly possess these photos. Even kids sexting to each other can be prosecuted under these laws.
                              • "Alaska does not have a sexting law, so currently an individual who is caught promoting, distributing, publishing, or possessing sexually explicit images of a minor can be charged under the State’s child porn laws – regardless of age."
                            • This woman was actively distributing child pornography which is much more serious.
                              • Alaska's law: "The penalties vary based on distribution. Currently, it is a class B misdemeanor if the sexually suggestive material is published or distributed to one or two other people; this is punishable by up to 90 days in jail. Publishing or distributing the material to three or more people is punishable by up to one (1) year in jail. Distributing the material on the Internet is a class C felony, which is punishable by up to five (5) years in jail."
                            • She had a frickin' public defender. This guy probably wasn't exactly a Perry Mason.

...and yet she still avoided jail time.

Right away, they establish that she is a victim. We can't treat her like other sick perverted people who possess and trade child porn, because she was a victim. Waaaaaaahhhh!!! no mention of the children who were victimized in making the porn she collected and distributed, though

A victim who likely profited from children being raped and exploited.

A childcare worker? She had daily access to children, think about that.

                            Not a coincidence, I'm sure.

“Ms. Robinson wasn’t looking at these images for sexual gratification. It was more that she identified with the victims in the case,” Torres said.

And we know this is true, because 1: we can read into her mind, or 2: she said so. She was "trading" the material, so at minimum she was profiting from it.

Yeah, and get a load of this shit:

Of course she's the victim! If any of the kids she filmed were male I'm certain they forced her to do it. Poor woman. Poor, blameless innocent woman.

now that a legal precedent is there, this is potentially dangerous

                            [–]rigbed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The thread brings up examples of men getting out of child porn possession, and the story about a dad who raped his daughter and got no jail time. What are thoughts?

                            [–]bullseyed723 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She wasn't getting off on the child porn, she was identifying with the victims!! See, she's a victim!!!

And we all know that males can't experience empathy, especially white males, so it is impossible for any man to identify with the victim in a similar manner. Which is somehow not sexist.

It says he went to a website but his computer did not contain any child porn.

So since the charge is possession of cp, not just accessing and viewing it, he is not guilty.

That is weird. I guess if you clear your web history you can get away with a lot.

Good lord. This is infuriating, but I'm honestly not quite surprised. For clarity, I live in Alaska.

There is a huge problem with sexual assault in the state, largely attributed to the Native populations (both in villages and those who fly into Anchorage and remain homeless). There are a number of organizations devoted to aiding victims of sexual assault in the state. As we should all expect, they all focus on women as the primary victims (which, if I'm being honest, is typically true in the Native populations), though the women tend to be abusive as well.

There are some unique dynamics at play given the politics of the state at the moment, but the given verdict should surprise nobody here. The state and municipal governments are trying their hardest to look tough on such issues while scrambling to fix gaping economic holes that are causing the state to hemorrhage money (largely due to mismanagement). Bringing even more light to one of the state's biggest social issues (while it's currently trying to fight the issue of homelessness) isn't a good look for the state government. This is particularly true when the crime flies in the face of the standard narrative as it does here. It's no surprise that she's getting off.

I should also mention that there is a huge feminist undercurrent in the current millennial generation. The social environment of the state at the moment is poised to support the decision. I'm only hoping that we have enough older conservatives around still to combat the verdict.

If anyone has any specific questions, please do ask. I'll be more than happy to answer. /u/SACRlion, do you also reside in the state? If not, is this becoming a national story?

                            [–]SACRlion[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, I live in Texas, so yes, I would say it is becoming a national story.

I am a woman, I think she should have been charged similarly how a man should've. I feel that this has been mishandled. Any other cases of female privilege you have read about lately?

                            [–]NaughtyFred 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Go to the MensRights sub, this case is the tip of the iceberg

                            [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd argue that most gay pedophiles were abused when they were children as well.

Women tend to be skilled manipulators, are presumed weakly victims by default and given that they only make up 10% of the abusers they have a much easier time getting away with it.

Life isn't fair and it never will be. You might as well post about kids from rich families coasting by while high others never get a break or about you never going to look like chad no matter the effort.

I think a lot of guys on TRP need to see life as much more amoral than they presume it should be.

                            [–]Hillarysdilddo_2016 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“This gives us the opportunity to understand in a very direct fashion the long-term consequence that an adult’s exploitation of a child has on that child as the child grows older, and that’s what we’re seeing here with Ms. Robinson,” Alexander told the court.

Fucking piece of shit liberals. Someone elect this bitch to the White House. After all, women are special snowflakes that are equal to men.

I shared this with my girlfriend and asked what she thought about it. She asked what race was she? I say white. She says that's why. I tell her I doubt it's s race issue. She asks why? I say ohh idk really, and left it at that. I was interested in what she'd say, but wasn't about to go down that road.

                            [–]KnowBrainer 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I'm pretty sure almost everybody who looks at that junk has a similar story of abuse...

As a male, it's become quite clear that our government isn't for my benefit. Fortunately, I'm able to ignore the ridiculousness and push onward, confident that on the day that I am challenged, my opponents will be obliterated by my incredible might and unwavering will.

                            [–]Forcetobereckonedwit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes, and anyone without the money to afford a good lawyer does too. The statistics are out there. Poor and black? Worst case. Rich and white? Best case. All other combos get something in the middle.

                            [–]Endorsed Contributorthelandofdreams 2 points3 points  (2 children)

The gender sentencing gap is about 6 times larger than the racial one is alleged to be

                            [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

What percent of men who physically abuse their wives get sentenced?

                            [–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More men get prosecuted doing stuff I'd personally hardly consider abuse (like slapping) than don't. Basically if a woman reports a man for domestic violence, he gets fucked.

Also, do you really think physical violence always deserves sentencing? If the girl cheated on the guy, for example, would it be justified for him to be angry enough to slap her?
