It's the summer, I'm jacked for the first time in my life, and women try to talk to me on their own... I love it! (self.asktrp)

I know this isn't a question, but I never had this happen to me before. Just wearing a t-shirt that highlights my muscles is enough!

Women used to ignore me, and now, even standing in the supermarket line or doing my stuff, as long as I look at a woman nearby, she actually starts talking to me!

A girl I work with now acts shy when she says hi to me! Another one tried to feel my chest the other day in the most clumsy way possible! (I know they are off limits, but still)

A third one checks me up, especially my chest, each time I walk by her!

You're at stage 5 out of 6.

Stage 1 is where women actively avoid you, give you dirty looks for existing in the same room, and won't even give you directions or tell you the time.

Stage 2 is where women pretty much ignore you unless you get in their way or approach them or otherwise try to get their attention, in which case they try to end the interaction as quickly as possible, using as few words as possible.

Stage 3 is where women mostly ignore you unless you approach them and try to talk, at which point they'll exchange pleasantries and politely gab about nothing for a few minutes, before making an excuse to go talk to someone else. Most guys are here.

Stage 4 is where you start catching women looking at you from across the room, then looking away as soon as you look up, smiling politely at you as you walk past if you happen to make eye contact, subtly checking you out at the pool while you walk by without a shirt, etc. Conversationally, they don't treat you any differently than they would at stage 3, except that at this stage, they'd be susceptible to game, while at stage 3, game would fail because they're not actually interested, just being polite.

Stage 5 is when women start approaching and opening you. Except for the fact that they were the ones who approached you, conversationally, the talking goes identically to stage 3, with the unspoken expectation that you'll game them if you're interested, and they'll evaluate your game before deciding you're a sure thing.

Stage 6 is when women start overtly making sexual moves to express their interest instead of just talking normally and waiting to see if you'll game them.

Stage 6 would be a woman coming up and sitting in your lap (often with subtle grinding once seated), rather than sitting next to you and asking you interview questions. Maybe swatting your butt as you walk by. Sitting or standing in a manner that involves shoving her tits in your face. In a dance setting, she'll initiate grinding. During a hug, her thigh or hips, depending on her height, will find its way between your legs or be pressed up against your groin area. Honestly, I thought generalizing a woman making overt sexual moves kind of spoke for itself.

Each "stage" is really just a rough approximation of where you stand with most women in general. It's a gauge of how good-looking you are, how attractive your personality is, how established you appear socially, etc. You end up with girls behaving in the latter range more often if you're physically fit, well-dressed, and demonstrate social aptitude, social status, and social connections in whatever venue you're currently occupying. And once a girl comes up to you, if you demonstrate game and that you aren't a clueless chump, that gets you points, too. (Or just demonstrate game on another girl while some girl who's thinking about moving in on you is watching.)

Tell me more! I've been trying to get jacked for some time now, I'm far from reaching that goal (it cannot be done overnight, of course), but the good news is that I've finally found a diet and workout routine that are perfect for me.

It started as girls looking at me or listening to me or trying to see what I was doing, without actually getting involved unless I said anything to them directly, and this especially happened when I was talking to other women.

Now, any small opening is good to start talking to me. Granted, there has to be compatibility in terms of my SMV are her hotness, but it's way easier now, on average, compare to how it was before.

Or, as happened a couple of times by now, girls telling other girls how to behave just because I was in the room (ie, girls one-upping one another in some topic involving me just to prove themselves). I cannot explain how hot that is lol xD

What does your body look like right now (any pics on the internet that resemble it)?

I'm not that hot nor that jacked, actually. I'm bulking at the moment, so my body is not a sculpture of muscles. However, I look great under a t-shirt or a sweatshirt, to the point of women even commenting on it just to see if I've been working out recently. I'm 1.67cm tall (roughly), and went from 52kg to 61kg in 6 months, give or take. I'm the thin kind of guy who rarely get's fat, which for me meant packing on some mass by eating a lot more than usual.

Man, I'm so happy for you. I've got every aspect of my life in check but what you have is the one thing that's lacking!

Same thing for me, to the point where I tried hard to get good stuff in life without the physical aspect. It actually turned out well, in practice, as I gained lots of confidence, a good job and a really nice drive on the things I like, but I still gave up on the fantasy. Now, ironically, everything seems pretty easy all around me as I complement everything I achieved in these last few years with a nice body.

just because I was interested in the bodybuilding sport.

in reality 160lb or even `150lb lean at our height can look amazing and you will certainly get looks from women, more so at yours 180lb, nice job

Nah it's not me. I posted him because he seems to be around that weight, possibly less, and he's short. To me that's not jacked. This dude is small as fuck in clothes. Maybe athletic looking in a tight top at best. OP said he's not at this guy's level, yet he's apparently getting approached by women so something else is at play here. I'm not as lean as him but in clothes look similar and stuff like OP is talking about has only happened once, 4-5 years ago.

Also I'm not hating on the guy. I have a similar frame which hasn't got potential for much muscle mass.

U don't have to look like Arnold to be jacked, and in either case, I think the guy in the picture overdid it with the low bodyfat, I wouldn't wanna have that body.

You're right. I should clarify. Someone with a naturally wide frame will have an easier time looking more muscular and have a greater potential for muscle growth. A person with a narrow frame can become jacked like this guy on the left but usually only with steroids otherwise they end up looking like that guy I posted a few posts up (thejoshyc).

I think frame, muscle insertions and muscle bellies are more important. I was 170-175 10-12% bodyfat at 5'8 and was still small looking while Scott Herman at 177 is what I'd consider jacked.

My guess is that gains alone won't cut it. For example, at work, I was already the top-shot employee, I was already confident, and I was already casting shadows on every other guy, without my body. It's just one factor, although an important one.

Lol, "jacked" may have been the wrong word. I'm 1.67cm tall and weight 61kg at the moment (coming from 52kg six months ago).

I'm bulking at the moment, so my body is not exactly "amazing" on every aspect, but under a t-shirt, I look great. And for some freaking reason, chest muscles + posture have given me a really nice chest. Now I'm kind of waiting for my arms to catch up lol

Yeah, I had to. Maybe because I'm surrounded by people who are taller than me, lol, even 90% of the women I know are taller than me!

I can assure you, being short (1.67cm) and skinny (52kg, before bulking) made me look like a child or a totally unappealing male. Sure, I may be able to hook up with girls shorter than me, but even many of them were already going out or being banged by guys way taller than me, so a nice face wasn't a deal breaker. I guess it helped in the sense that I wasn't treated as a total creep in the past though-

My guess is that face alone won't cut it, just like body alone won't do it either. Sometimes I see those guys whith a strong jawline and really masculine traits in their faces, and I have to admit to myself that I lack those. I'm not ugly, mind u, but I defintely don't have the "killer" face

I'm also lacking that, especially strong jawline traits. I love my job, doing what I enjoy and making money out of it. I'm fit and getting bigger each day. I could say I don't get as much attention, but to be completely honest, it's only because I don't go out much. When I was younger (14-20) I'd get tons of attention from girls, but back then I was bluepilled and ran away from any interaction. And if I ended up in bed with a girl, never had sex because I was too scared to push forward, thinking it's not "right".

Right now I'm balding and shaved 3mm, good body, much better dressing. And it is much harder to get attention from girls. I could blame my looks, but that's bullshit. It's not like I became some ugly nerd, besides the hair loss and buzzed hair - I only improved. It all bows down to the confidence and actually trying to interact with women. Yeah it might be difficult with "average" face at the very beginning, but if you get one to to know you, all it takes is to stand out from that 90% weak men she knows.

I live in europe, and 10 years ago, my 8deg cousin or something came to our home from the states to spend the holidays with us. She came with her sister and her dad, and they stayed with us (I was living with my parents back then, 9 people in a big appartment lol).

Probably, I'm not sure. I'm always joking that I'm really pretty, but I know it's not exactly true. I'm white, blue eyes, but I always looked more like a child than a man. Some short beard, muscles, the right eye glasses frame and an improved posture helped a lot.

I can tell you this though: being short (1.67cm) and skinny (52kg, before bulking) made me look like a child or a totally nonthreatening male. And that is not a turn on.

Well, tricky answer. I've been doing push-ups for the last three years, give or take. Last year I bought a couple of dumbbells and added a couple of extra exercises. However, I wasn't being serious about the whole lifting thing, I was just doing the bare minimum and in an undisciplined way.

6 months ago I bought some extra equipment, set up a nice program, started counting calories, etc, and I started bulking in a serious fashion.

A month ago, the first comments about my body came out of a couple of women I knew for a while now, which means it took me 5 months to get noticeably fit. Now, I'll keep going during the summer and into the next year, if possible. I'll see how far can I go with "noob" gains.

EDIT: keep in mind that immediate results probably won't happen, and also, you may get the feeling you are not making any progress, and this is the reason why it's a good idea to take a picture of yourself when you start. You may look yourself in the mirror every day, and you'll be biased as fuck as to whether you are making progress or not lol.

In any case, lifting, diet (counting calories, use my fintess pal app) and resting all go hand in hand. DO NOT expect any gains if any of these three are not on point. I also have a garmin smartwatch, which helped me track my calories even better.

What kind of program did you do and how many calories do you aim to eat? I have some trouble reaching 3k calories and I should eat 3.5k...

Custom program, for now: ABA/BAB, mon-wed-fri.

These are the excercises: squats, pull-ups, chin-ups, dumbbell bench press, flyes, dumbbell shoulder press, barebell row, hammer curls, dumbbell head crushers, dips.

I'm currently eating 2.4k, but I usually end up eating more on many days because I move around a lot (walk, stairs, etc) and I, well, lift.

However, I do recognize keeping up the caloric intake can sometimes be a pain in the ass. One thing I found has been really helpful is breakfast. I was basically skipping it before this, I mean I used to have breakfast, but just barely.

Now, I can pack between 0.8k and 1k calories during breakfast alone, which really helped easing it up on the other meals.

700 club is not a club. You can easily achieve a 700+ total within a year, or even less. Its not particularly strong for anyone following a real routine

1000 club is where its at, or a 300 wilks, since you'll have to put work in and actually have a somewhat appreciable physique once you reach that point

Total pounds lifted for a 1 rep max split between squats, deadlift and bench press. Personally I don't agree though. I had a 900+lb total and was nowhere near jacked.

Sorry man, if you have that body and you are not getting attention, there has to be a reason.

It could be your personality/face/attitude. It could also be context: if you are constantly surrounded by jacked guys, then you are not "special" in any way. 80% of the guys I meet are not muscular at all, and that plays in my favor.

Ahh this is awesome to hear man! It's that little things in life I tell ya. Moments like this will just boost your confidence like it's on steroids. Ive had moments like this after a new haircut or new clothes, but it's nothing compared to being fit and having people noticed your muscles.

Idk what it it but when you get rewarded for working on something you've put a lot of hard work and effort into like this, it just feels fucking awesome. I've been bulking and going to the gym 6 days a week and I've noticed some solid noob gains coming from a skinny fat guy. I hope to have some moments that you're describing in the next 6-12 months. I was skinny fat AND short, which is not a good combination lol. Lift, diet and rest man, don't overdo it, and be careful about the 6 days a week program, it may be too much. Good luck.
