Tranny game (self.altTRP)

Is there anything specific to them?
They play like women, but I'm always getting another vibe that's throwing me off.
I have no data. Any generalities or research?

I date trans women pretty much exclusively. Just treat them like regular women. And don't call them trannies. Or shemales. Even the word "transsexual" is borderline offensive now. "Tgirls", "trans girls", or "transgender" is fine.
The trans community can be very xenophobic, but luckily every tgirl I've dated doesn't want to be part of the trans community.
They're typically broke and going through/have gone through hard times, with friends and family abandoning them. If you treat them as human beings and have some integrity, they'll be very appreciative.
Hormones can be an issue. I had a pre-everything trans plate who I told outright that I was not committing to because she was polyamorous and I'm monogamous. She was fine with that, but as soon as she got on hormones, here comes the neediness and asking for commitment.
Expect a high partner count, as they usually formerly identified as gay fem males, and possible history as a sex worker.
The sex is good, though.
PM me if you have any more questions.

Hormones can be an issue.
That's probably what was throwing me. Thanks.

Yeah, the whole hormone thing is really twitchy. Try to date a girl who's been on them for a couple of years; otherwise they're going through puberty again and all the associated ups and downs...

It was more the variance between those on them and those not. It was throwing my expectations.
Something that would fire up a woman, like grabbing a hip, would sometimes work and sometimes get a "dude?" reaction.
Do you have any shortcuts to figure if they're on them or not?

LOL, ya.
Just ask her. "So, how far along are you in transitioning?" Or "How has transitioning been going for you?"
She'll tell you more than you want to know.
See, here's the thing: It's not that she's on hormones that screws her up (more than a genetic female), it's when the hormones get escalated. She'll be on hormones for the rest of her life, but if they up the dosage, that's when shit can get crazy until she adjusts to them.
Thank you for the inside information.
You said earlier that they mostly stick with their own. Is that only on their own turf because when I'm at mixed bars, they're always with men, and their acquaintances always say they're their boyfriends.
This is horrible anecdotal evidence, but in porn, I see ED when they're with women, very little enthusiasm with their own, and very much enthusiasm with men.
Granted, I don't go anywhere where I don't fit in, but it seems like they're most attracted to men.
Can you give more details on their general preferences?

Most identify as straight women or bisexual, so yes they're attracted to men. But, y'know, ask.
Yes, absolutely they go out on dates with their boyfriends. Sometimes to gay bars, sometimes elsewhere. You've got to realize that when you leave the "man club" and join the "woman club", it paints a target on your back, so they go where they feel safe.
I wouldn't say "they stick with their own" necessarily, but certainly they're motivated to have other trans friends, who share common experiences.

I'm hearing stories about straight guys who aren't out who identify as bi who find that male-to-female trans are their dream. I can't imagine this is every straight-but-curious guy's thing but I've heard some variation of this story at least twice.
EDIT: strikeout

Can confirm. As a bi guy, t-girls are nature's most perfect creature.
