Huuuwhaat? I assume this is code for, "climate change tax on men to benefit women" - because what else could it be? That's just about what every other 'gender-friendly' policy does.

In all seriousness, This is what bothers me about the American Left. It has been almost entirely co-opted by feminism. Being a straight male and an American Democrat is colossally stupid and counter to your interests. it's quite sad that the left has to resort to propaganda and false dichotomies like this to combat the rampant science denial and paranoia in the U.S., because the ecological disasters we're facing are real. they only got feminism/female victimhood involved in this issue as a last resort because the scientific community is treated with suspicion by so many Americans. i have to blame America's anti-intellectualism here.
