Meta/r/theredpill is SUBREDDIT OF THE DAY! (reddit.com)

There's so many tears in that thread I might start a new business mining the salt.

[–]sigma272 81 points82 points  (7 children)

Nah, we start a website that sells anti-TRP stuff, then pour the profits back into the manosphere. Pretty soon, the "TRP Endorsed" flair will come with a private island and a gold-plated Lamborghini.

[–]DeltaRecon2552 24 points25 points  (3 children)

Ah yes. The tenant of all good business. Create the demand.

Oil. Terrorism. Feminism... muahhahahaa

[–]2IVIaskerade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

GLO and Cis are already turning the wheels, I reckon.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (1 child)

honestly i already thing viral marketing is doing this by aiming feminist bloggers at certain targets. Muppets when Kermit date's miss piggy, Ghostbusters when you tube comments create a sexist shit show, were actually made by sony, that "beach body" protein add. There are bunches of examples

[–]Apexk9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

A lot of shit is just advertising companies trying to make a viral situation.

[–]foldpak111 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It'd incentivize the majority of subscribers to pump out the highest-quality content they could think of. The competition would be fierce. It might even be scary.

[–]u-r-silly 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Oh gosh

If you need one self control training today that would be to not reply to anything.

TRP is the epitome of putting pussy on a pedestal and it's pretty sad

Bluepill hamster spins so hard they come to the opposite conclusion.

[–]RedPillOdin 44 points45 points  (3 children)

Anyone else play the shaming language bingo in that thread? Way too easy.

They tout their soggy knees then act like they've won.

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points  (2 children)

one guy said he likes being the emotional sponge for his wife, and she hates sex.

then allofasudden she likes it.

So either he's a beta bitch, or he talks shit about his wife online to strangers. He needs this place

[–]2IVIaskerade 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think the "men are not happy" is probably the best piece ever written in this subreddit. Sure, there are more helpful things at almost any stage of your development, but as a core mission statement it's so simple and direct that it's my favourite.

[–]ForensicFungineer 59 points60 points  (4 children)

Wow, that post is being brigaded heavily. It had something like 500 upvotes ~2 hours ago when I left, it's down to 176 right now.

It's pretty solid proof that they're afraid of what TRP can accomplish.

[–]Cashews4U 14 points15 points  (1 child)

The schadenfreude is so sweet. Everyone is losing it while I'm happy we even got the chance to project our side for once.

[–]ForensicFungineer 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Pretty much. At this point they're really forgetting the whole Streisand Effect thing.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Give zero fucks.

The fact that these feminists and manginas spent literally days combing through TRP to come up with quotes showing TRP in a bad light is a win in itself.

[–]RojoEscarlata 125 points126 points  (4 children)

I literally never expected TRP to ever become sub of the day

[–]DMMDestroyer 98 points99 points  (3 children)

Blue pill sub are losing their minds

[–]sigma272 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Implying that their minds were not lost to begin with /s

[–][deleted] 28 points29 points  (0 children)

Sounds like they've been triggered big time.

[–]NeoreactionSafe 246 points247 points  (105 children)

Okay that makes sense.

All the Jerry Springer Show type posts are temporarily halted and we run "reruns" of sidebar material (all cleaned and fully vetted) so that when we are viewed by the wider Reddit audience we come off smelling like roses.

No problem... I will play along...

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 125 points126 points  (86 children)

Hah, not quite. We wanted to refocus the purpose of this sub and bring theory back into the fold. Now was a good time to do it, but it wasn't specifically because of subredditoftheday. It doesn't hurt that new members will see specifically the sort of content we're looking to expand on, but they're all welcome to browse our archives.

[–]2rp_valiant 159 points160 points  (77 children)

if TRP actually comes back to its roots I would definitely get involved again. I think quite a few regulars left because the circlejerk got too strong.

[–]disposable_pants 91 points92 points  (37 children)

Every subreddit has this problem.

[–]2rp_valiant 68 points69 points  (32 children)

most subreddits are about frivolous bullshit. TRP is one of the few that actually makes a difference to men's lives. I don't care if long-time members of funny or BlackPeopleTwitter leave but I care about the quality of TRP going down.

[–]disposable_pants 18 points19 points  (27 children)

Agreed. I'm pointing out that it's not a TRP-specific problem; it's a problem that routinely crops up when any group gets too big.

[–]2rp_valiant 14 points15 points  (26 children)

it's a hard problem to solve.

[–]Azzmo 2 points3 points  (1 child)

On reddit it is. Reddit is all about low barrier to entry and low expectations for its users. To the point where the uneducated horde actively censors interesting content on most subreddits.

That said, in a broader sense this problem is easily solved if you require a sense of investment in the community for the person joining. I've seen different websites do this in different ways.

Some require a certain amount of posts in general areas before they earn the right to participate in the main areas. Not feasible here.

Some require being vetted upfront, or they require a referral. Also not very feasible here.

Some have a posting moratorium that expires after a set amount of time.

Somethingawful required $10 back in the day to join. They also had pretty good (and mean but usually fair) moderators who would ban people for repeated low-content or shitty posts. Also not feasible.

The only thing I can imagine working here - while also keeping it public and available - is a larger and more active modding team with stricter expectations for content. Perhaps Anger Phase should be contained only to threads started with the [Anger Phase] tag? Perhaps every post should have to be at least two sentences. Dunno. Maybe you can't have good, high-population subreddits.

[–]TRP VanguardHumanSockPuppet 10 points11 points  (23 children)

So far the only solution seems to be throttling the influx of newcomers, or at least throttling their voices so they do not drown out the voice of the existing community.

[–]Moldy_Gecko 17 points18 points  (0 children)

One thing I never understood that TRP doesn't do is why they don't make you sub for a few months first before you can post. I'm pretty sure I've seen subs do that before. Also, that would make askTRP more useful.

[–]1InscrutablePUA 6 points7 points  (2 children)

Is there a way to prevent new subscribers from posting for a set period of time or impose minimum karma requirements?

[–][deleted] 3 points3 points

[permanently deleted]

[–]2rp_valiant 7 points8 points  (17 children)

could stickies be used to steer newcomers/anger-phasers in the right direction?

[–]TRP VanguardHumanSockPuppet 32 points33 points  (16 children)

No.

Existing communities have a culture and code of conduct in place. A newcomer arrives, he learns how he is expected to behave, and he becomes inducted into the existing group's culture. This process is slow, but it safeguards the culture of the community.

Once newcomers start flooding in, they bring their culture with them. They cannot be fully taught before other newcomers arrive, and the culture of the existing community is slowly diluted.

I have seen this happen to many clubs, organizations, and online communities, including reddit (back when the mass-exodus from Digg occurred).

The only way to abate the Eternal September Effect is to throttle the invading cultures, either by limiting membership or limiting the privilege to speak.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

also, askscience method, extremely heavy moderation

[–]letriggeredface -4 points-3 points  (3 children)

most subreddits are about frivolous bullshit. TRP is one of the few that actually makes a difference to men's lives. I don't care if long-time members of funny or BlackPeopleTwitter leave but I care about the quality of TRP going down.

OH NO WE GOT SOMEONE WHO CARES. BETTER AMOG AND BEAT HIM UP FOR CARING ABOUT THINGS!

Enjoy that response thrown at you by people who fail to see the point behind moderation.

[–]2rp_valiant 7 points8 points  (2 children)

that's at least a small part of why I left. All the big boys trying to AMOG on the internet. All the guys with the "fuck you got mine" attitude trying to stop TRP from reaching more men. Or trying to act like they're so DT that they don't care about anything but themselves and that keeping membership low prevents competition from other RPers in the SMP.

[–]letriggeredface 4 points5 points  (1 child)

that's at least a small part of why I left. All the big boys trying to AMOG on the internet. All the guys with the "fuck you got mine" attitude trying to stop TRP from reaching more men. Bingo. The best part is that by trying to amog as often as they do they fail to see how retarded and fake theyre actually appearing to be.

Its like ive said before, expanding on reddit is a terrible idea, not because muh less competition, but because the average redditor is absolute shit as a person. The core of that person will not change by bringing him here, in order to bring in new numbers you need to find losers that actually have a sense of self awareness and are so desperate or so far low that they actually want to change for themselves, not change to tell someone a story and begin virtue signalling or going all about how alpha i am since i read trp. Its literally importing sharing needles with gay prostitutes and hoping you dont get aids.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

FYI we always remove amogging if you report it.

[–]TRP VanguardHumanSockPuppet 12 points13 points  (1 child)

For those of you who may not be familiar, this phenomenon is called the "Eternal September" effect, named for a similar problem that happened with Usenet long ago. Google it and check it out.

[–][deleted] 19 points20 points  (0 children)

A fancy term that just describes regression to the mean, really.

  • New group forms, by definition, is by people with above average interest and ability in said group. Enjoy exclusivity and passion for core culture.
  • group gains popularity, early adopters give rise to mass appeal
  • drives regression to the mean (Eternal September) quality drops, and is generally scavenged for identity, as opposed to interest.
  • initial group leaves, core of main groups association is gutted, and left as a shell. Repeat.

[–]masnera 0 points1 point  (1 child)

We must not be that " every subreddit"

[–]pusangani 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Correct, because TRP goes against what Reddit is, a den of beta cucks

[–]SlappaDaBayssMon 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I second that. I liked learning, now all the posts that front page here just piss me off. As in, posts about terrible people being terrible, a la TiA.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (3 children)

I stopped posting for nearly two years because I basically applied what I learned and didn't really feel the need to participate anymore. I still lurk every now and then - obviously I saw your post there - but I don't think the loss of regulars is down to a decline in quality. People simply move on. And that's perfectly ok.

[–]2rp_valiant 2 points3 points  (2 children)

of course that happens too. But over the last ~9 months there's been a marked decrease in activity from older members and quite a few additional endorsed have been added. I know I left due to the slip in on-topic and quality discussion.

[–]2rp_valiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I know exactly who you mean. I agree.

[–]EntitledShitHead 2 points3 points  (18 children)

if TRP actually comes back to its roots I would definitely get involved again.

Can you help me understand what you mean by TRP roots?

[–]2rp_valiant 40 points41 points  (17 children)

originally, TRP was focussed heavily on developing the theory, guiding new users through the phases (most importantly, past the anger phase) and actionable writings like field reports, specific shit test analyses and so on. Now the front page often fills with either pathetic revenge porn (like PussyPassDenied) or rants about specific public/private women or feminism in general. It went from being a sub based on action to a sub based on whining, due to many anger phasers not working through their issues.

[–]Strike48 6 points6 points [recovered]

I wasn't here during the root prime, but that sounds absolutely fucking great. I understand those going through the "anger phase", but sometimes it just seems pathetic and ridiculous to me how these guys can legitimately be angry for so long. Isnt the whole point of the process to get past that and improve your life? Why dwell on that specific range for so long? I get the vibe that it's even encouraged sometimes and it gets old.

I think we could make more improvements if we encouraged people to get through the anger phase rather than dwell on it as you mentioned. Being angry serves for some temporary motivation for change, but excessiveness can't be healthy.

[–]2rp_valiant 4 points5 points  (0 children)

exactly my thoughts - the anger phase should be directed towards fervent consumption of TRP's "critical path" of theory, and pushing hard at the gym and out in the world. TRP should, imho, always be reminding these men that the anger is directed at the lie they've been told by society, not at women. Women are human beings, not magical princesses, and that's a good thing. To get over the anger phase is to let go of the blue pill narrative completely and live in the world as it exists in reality.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sometimes people get stuck in one of the phases because they don't know how to get to the next one. Personally, my anger lasted for a few weeks, until it slowly began to dissipate into acceptance as I learned how to use what I know to my benefit, and how all those things that made me angry actually made sense in the greater whole of things. This inspired change in me.

Some guys get stuck on anger. They cant come to terms with reality or how to manage it, so all it can ever do is make them angry. After all, if they don't see that there is anything they can do about it, what else can they be but angry?

[–]SinisterSwindler 4 points5 points  (5 children)

I remember those times well, I learnt a lot during that period. The shit test analysis posts, holding frame posts, intense and in-depth theory discussions from EC and vanguards were stimulating as fuck.

[–]2rp_valiant 17 points18 points  (1 child)

that's what we need to get back to. Not "some woman being terrible example #3401"

[–]SinisterSwindler -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree, just didn't want to complain about it. I used to sit for hours reading/soaking up the information in the comments and advice that EC's would debate about in threads. If i remember correctly this was roughly about a year and a half ago before that massive surge of subscribers. I think it was about 30k strong when I stumbled in here. Shortly thereafter TRP became 100k members strong followed by non-stop posts from anger phasers complaining/crying/pointing out women's shitty behaviour, flooding out good quality posts. Unfortunate but couldn't be helped. This weekend on TRP was refreshing in the minimal time I spent glossing over threads.

[–]TingIeTits 0 points1 point  (2 children)

How does one find these golden posts of old?

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Front page is littered with them right now. Or view my submission history.

[–]SinisterSwindler 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Search for the red pill handbook, read Rollo's blog, read illimitable mans blog, it's all in the sidebar. Search top/all time in theory, FR and red pill example posts. Locate and friend all the EC's/Vanguards and look up their post history and comments. Begin reading and don't stop. Come back in 6 months before posting. Lift in between all of this.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (4 children)

MRP is still there, luckily it's small, and grows slowly

[–]2rp_valiant 1 point2 points  (3 children)

MRP is interesting, although I find sometimes it takes trips into extremes (like advocating cheating on your wife) that I don't agree with. I'll take a look around though, it's been a while.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (2 children)

It advocates a man finding his own path, and that a man is his only judge. I'm sure I'm thinking of the exact person you're referencing, and it's a rather extreme example. 99% of the time, it's not even close to a good idea

It's a toolbox, take what you will.

[–]2rp_valiant 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I might give it another shot then, the last time I ventured in there were a lot of endorsed dramas going on around topics like that so maybe it's gotten back onto a healthy track again.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do what you like. the only drama right now is occasionally when the former mods of RPW show up and shit on the professor.

It's really been developing an awesome catelog of theory

[–]masnera -1 points0 points  (0 children)

anger phasers not working through their issues

yeah instead of working on their issues, they whine like bitches and take note...some of the whining are properly worded that it sounds like a logical explanation of point of view, but i see it as it is...whining like a bitch who hasn't got laid for a long time...and after whining in TRP, and being agreed upon/upvoted by the likes of them (and there are a lot of them)...get back on playing games or whatever the fuck they keep on doing that doesn't add up to their improvement...they stress me out.

And finding a new gem post is like finding a fruit in a basket full of rotten...stinking ones, and if i have managed to find that fruit most of the times...its rotting inside. I would have rather repeat on reading the Sidebar.

[–]letriggeredface -1 points0 points  (4 children)

if TRP actually comes back to its roots I would definitely get involved again. I think quite a few regulars left because the circlejerk got too strong.

Yfw rooshv was right and the sub does need heavy moderation/limited contributions to keep the sub clean.

[–]2rp_valiant 12 points13 points  (3 children)

at the same time, Roosh was also trying to turn people against TRP to bring them over to his new "neomasculinity" forum.

[–]letriggeredface 2 points3 points  (1 child)

at the same time, Roosh was also trying to turn people against TRP to bring them over to his new "neomasculinity" forum.

Him owning the forum means he has a reason to care about it, his understanding of a need for moderation and lack of acceptance towards things that split the ingroup (no fags, no women) are absolutely great. I dont post on his forums but his view is absolutely correct and the reason why chans will always be superior to reddit.

Its like the guys going "well yeah circlejerking is a problem for all big subs", no its only a problem for people that cant understand the need for moderation. I was lambasted for suggesting that posts including the word Indian result in an instant ban because if you search for Indian its literally "how do i get da white woman" "omg its so hard being indian, my genes automatically stop me from success, disregard that im literally talking like a fatty here going muh genetics". Instead i get called racist when finishing it up with "race doesn't matter, game does, shell pick the alpha indian over the beta white guy". Nah man, I'm just a racist for noticing a bunch of posts that are near identical and have the same answer as the million ones before it.

A good moderation team is all you need. The sub wants to expand though, which means that the more people you get the more difficult it is to enforce. So between more people or more quality, its easy to see what won out. The meme LURK MOAR doesnt apply here like it does in chans. Ultimately we will never solve the quality problem of the sub until mods begin to ban people by the masses. This would be fine but, MUH POSTER NUMBERS!!! I GOTTA GIVE A SHIT ABOUT MUH INTERNET POINTS!!! FLOOD THE SUBS!

[–]2rp_valiant 6 points7 points  (0 children)

we all know there's a small number of Indians who repeatedly post here who are self-loathing losers. That doesn't warrant banning all posts with "Indian" in them because then you're kicking out Indians who might well have race-specific feedback. Strong moderation is necessary but the problem there is that as the sub grows and more moderators are needed, suddenly you get mod drama and infighting/politics within the team that runs the place. I've seen that a few times myself, outside of reddit.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it's also been discussed and broken down very well on the theoryofreddit sub. Funnily enough, was from one of the main mods in tumblrinaction.

Explains the phases of sub, and general subscriber numbers that the phases change.

[–]Endorsed Contributorvandaalen -4 points-3 points  (1 child)

So instead of being a valuable member of this community, helping to counter the trend by providing quality content, you choose to conviniently come and go, leech off when there is something of value to you found, and probably even chime in from time to time just to complain about how shitty this sub has become?

Does this about sum it up?

[–]2rp_valiant 8 points9 points  (0 children)

nope, not at all. When I see the direction of the sub change, towards something I personally am not interested in contributing to, at some point I have to say "this isn't a place for me any more". You have to consider that I have my own life to live, and that I am more than happy to contribute when the topic of conversation is related to my own interests but when it starts to drift to the point that there's nowhere for me to add to, there's no point hanging around. When the conversation drifts to "muh globalists" or "feminism is evil!" and everyone's chiming in, including endorsed and mods, I take my leave. When it goes back to theory and strategy, I return. It's quite straightforward.

[permanently deleted]

[–]2rp_valiant 2 points3 points  (0 children)

my post history in TRP is from today only. Look back over a couple of pages, you'll see I've primarily only been using The_Donald the The_Farage for quite some time. The reason I posted in a 1-hour-old thread is because it came up on my front page.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (4 children)

I mean... it's sidebar material. Once i found it, I spent probably almost a month just reading through ALL of it before actually regularly visiting the subreddit. The subreddit as far as I can tell is just FR's and meta discussion of the sidebar material as people experience and interpret it in their lives.

[–]2rp_valiant 1 point2 points  (3 children)

there's a lot more on the sub, but it was all written ages ago and has obviously fallen off the front page. The sidebar material used to just be a canonical selection out of a massive pile of resources. Now it's mostly "wahh feminism is bad!"

[–][deleted] 1 points1 points

[permanently deleted]

[–]2rp_valiant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it might just be a case of trawling the archive I'm afraid. Either way you'll find some really worthwhile content. Maybe to go top, and page through.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess that we should try to make more field reports and talk about why things did and didn't work.

[–]foldpak111 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All I see is more advertising. Like I give a fuck if the masses accept us. If we can bring in kids who are thinking of going on a shooting spree, like Elliot Rodgers (wah wah I can't get girls), and show them the way, I will feel very content knowing that we saved a manipulated boy from losing it and destroying families.

[–]Endorsed Contributoralways-be-closing 6 points7 points  (2 children)

It doesn't hurt that new members will see specifically the sort of content we're looking to expand on,

Without fail, on the rest of reddit and in real life, dropping RP observations wins plaudits from men and women, so long as they aren't personally being criticized. I don't know how much 'back to basics' work it'll take, but in the long run, it'll mean more people get helped if they can be kept from just dismissing everything out of hand.

Dunno if your inbox is swamped right now: should I message you or the modmail if I have theory posts?

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Send me pm

[–]Luckyluke23 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i think what happened is, you locked new posts. no one could post a " thanks red pill or look at this beta fag".

you reposted ALL of the good redpill content so there more more people came here and stayed to have a read. there for we have new found popularity.

you should do this monthly and not for the popularity.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I applaud you for this. The reason I stopped browsing TRP was because most of the posts were being made by newbies who didn't even read the sidebar stuff. Then the newcomers get distorted advice from other newbies and devolves into an anger-phase circlejerk.

Another great idea would be to have thread submission only for people who have browsed the subreddit for at least 3 months. This is what they do on /r/steroids, and I think it helps a lot.

[–]JohnCh8V32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Another idea could be CAPTCHA-type tests for the first hundred posts each new account makes, with the CAPTCHA material being questions directly drawn from the sidebar material.

[–]TheRealMewt 13 points14 points  (1 child)

On the contrary, I find it kind of ironic. Restricted submissions were supposed to put the brakes on all the junk threads that have cluttered this place in recent times. But the restriction is supposed to end very soon and with every bit of free advertising the rest of Reddit gives this sub comes an influx of new subscribers. Oh I can't wait to see the kind of garbage that fills the front page from even more people who don't get what this place is all about.

[–]NeoreactionSafe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Well the Jerry Springer Show posts are generally under the category of "Field Reports" where we hear some terrible story where some hard working Beta Bucks comes home to find his wife having sex with Chad Thundercock only to later have to experience a Divorce Rape where the wife gets everything.

We then end up talking about how a woman has a Hamster logic where she can completely flip in a second and do this type of terrible thing to a guy who is so beta that he is essentially a child mentally.

The purpose is to give wisdom to boys trying to be masculine but not knowing how to be.

In short...

Men desire Freedom, Women desire Access.

So for a man his masculinity is formed by establishing ego boundries and this creates his mental Freedom.

For women it's about Access to "everything" so it's a different orientation on life.

Much of Red Pill is about exposing the truth which is hidden in the Blue Pill mythology.

And that mythology is forced into us through all the Blue Pill emotional indoctrination methods from schools to tv to news reporting.

This is not a vetted Red Pill source, but I found it yesterday and it's really detailed about the Blue Pill and how they craft it:

Steve Outtrim - Silicon Valley's Secret Weapon: The Shadow History of Burners Pt1 - YouTube

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I7vrqMQgfus

Burning Man

[–]1v1crown 0 points1 point  (4 children)

I'm not an approved poster but can someone please make a post on this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZHRG-s3AnnU

Wow this is like a free-for-all for TRP

[–]NeoreactionSafe 1 point2 points  (3 children)

A great example of a guy losing Frame.

Internal Freedom (Frame) is the ego boundry that creates the Masculine Polarity.

Without the stoic solid Frame a man is Androgynous... Beta.

You can generally determine a guy who is Beta by him getting really upset over things which is what that video is about.

Amused Mastery is when through the wisdom acquired through Frame you get a sense of distance from circumstances which allows you to laugh because you completely comprehend what is going on.

If a guy isn't laughing he's losing... the losers are Blue Pill.

[–]1v1crown 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Please note that this got him banned from twitch.tv

The guy accused Krepo, a popular shoutcaster working for Riot Games, of statutory rape of a 15 yr old... with zero proof.

This guy later apologized saying it was false https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JdgLhMtBwUY

But it's crazy... this dude was making a living playing video games and then the streaming service that paid him banned him for this, and with good reason. Glad he's gone.

This is a perfect example of what a beta looks like... gets cucked and then loses his shit so hard haha

[–]NeoreactionSafe 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Don't pull that stuff into the Red Pill.

The point recently has been to increase the standards here and that's not really contributing in any way.

[–]1v1crown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Random but you're endorsed so I'm not going to argue.

[–]Moldy_Gecko 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First thought that came to my head too.

[–]RPsage 0 points1 point  (8 children)

This made me lol at work realizing that redpillschool is a genius at marketing with this power play.

You have a very perceptive mind.

[–]NeoreactionSafe 2 points3 points  (7 children)

The question becomes:

"Is this a temporary thing or are we about to lose the rough and tumble masculine atmosphere of the Red Pill Men's Club in a quest to become mainstream?"

...that isn't clear yet.

I was thinking this morning... the Red Pill group are the:

Dot Connecters

While others focus on the herd mind which does not connect the dots the Red Pill gains distance through our masculine Frame and from that distance we see how the dots connect.

The Androgynous beta male slave is too immersed in his emotions to get this distance and so he never connects the dots.

This is why:

"Kill the Beta" is really "Connect the Dots".

And once dots are connected it permanently changes the person.

...though in some sense the first step is to break some previous incorrect dot connections.

To be fair, the term 'The Red Pill', going right back to the Matrix, consists 100% of "the truth". Its even an explanatory line in the movie, presumably to avoid confusion.

This reddit concerns itself primarily with 'the truth about women and sex', but that is not now , nor has it ever been the entirety of the Red Pill, either as focus, or mindset. There are many Red Pills. Those that acquire a taste, and are thus willing to consider ideas labelled kooky by the mainstream.

[–]NeoreactionSafe -1 points0 points  (3 children)

The process of dot connecting requires Freedom (separation) from emotion.

It's the concept of stoic wisdom... the ability to have an objective view of how the dots are connected.

The conspiracy theory emotional manipulation is the globalist Blue Pill system saying:

"No, now look, you can't just connect any dots without our approval. All dots are to be connected by 'comfirmed sources'."

And of course the "confirmed sources" are all bought and paid for by the very people at the center of the crime which the theory exposes.

The Red Pill is in a universal sense the Whistleblower Cult.

We connect dots... we think for ourselves... we have Frame... we are Free... we see the Crime.

With that being said there are also disinformation theories that are injected into the internet to distract and confuse people.

So one guy might be a whistleblower and another guy actually part of the system creating disinformation.

The way you tell the difference is with "Intelligence" rather than simple "Intellect". With "Intelligence" it has to make sense intuitively as well as intellectually.

In most cases you must follow the money because that tends to not lie.

[–]Pornography_saves_li 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I have a simpler theory. The Red Pill tells men to think for themselves. Which makes identifying the fakers rather easy.

[–]NeoreactionSafe 0 points1 point  (1 child)

The PUA portion of Red Pill objects to being called "fakers".

  • X-Axis : Frame

  • Y-Axis : Game

...they are independent paths that one can go in.

Ideally the fully realized Alpha has Frame and Game at high levels.

The Beta has neither Frame nor Game.

PUA tends to favor Game.

MGTOW tends to favor Frame.

[–]Pornography_saves_li 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting take on things. I haven't seen it put quite in that way before.

[–]RPsage 0 points1 point  (1 child)

That makes sense. When I was at a work conference a few months back, we drank together and I told them some red pill truths. Afterwards, one of the guys told me that "I have a bird eye's view" of it all.

Even when men are wrong, it has logical reasoning. X + Y = Z.

"saying I'm a feminist + taking her out to dinner = sex"

Men are hard to convince because they can have "frame" towards their wrong assertions. Distance (mindfulness) is important to realize where we have been screwing up.

[–]NeoreactionSafe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well that's the "Kill the Beta" process.

There are some Blue Pill mythologies that have to be broken before the dots can be connected in alignment with the truth.

Remember Rene Girard...

http://www.iep.utm.edu/girard/

Essentially all primates imitate.

So the boy naturally absorbs the Blue Pill through simple imitation.

This is why older people often seem "out of fashion". The young seeks to imitate as it's first goal and obedience to the herd mind (fashion) is central to that. As you age and if you acquire Frame you imitate less.

You can spot the unwise older person because they try to imitate youth fashions.

(I'm 55 and see this)

Great for trp! New influx of men ready to be unplugged, after they get over the shock and horror of our evil misogynistic ways. Every hero needs a villain.

Bad for the mods. You're going to have more sludge to sift through with new subscribers as they try to submit more comments and posts subtly infecting trp with concern trolling and people who just join and think they immediately "get it".

Your jobs are severely underappreciated yet necessary.

[–][deleted] 40 points41 points  (3 children)

and people who just join and think they immediately "get it".

Oh God that was me when I was new. Now after reading and applying trp for 3 months I realize I still have a ton to learn before I can even hold a candle to the real contributors here.

[–]yaysmr 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah, if you're smart you can definitely grok the teachings, but you have to apply it and see it work (and fail!) a lot to begin to integrate it. It'd be nice if you could just read all the material, think about it for a while, then go out and win... but it is a discipline like any other. It is not acquired overnight.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been here for 3 months. Everytime I think I get it, I read some more and learn that I don't. I'm a Loooooong way from posting. IMHO, new subscribers shouldn't be allowed to post for at least a month.

Signs of progress though: my deadbedroom seems to be ending, and I've added 8 lbs of muscle to my skinny frame.

[–]2IVIaskerade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

TRP has cycles of learning.

You join, you take shit you read a bit. You think you've got it figured out, so you start posting. You start trying things out in real life, you realise that maybe you don't have things as figured out as you thought. You go back and read more. You grow more, and start posting again. You hit another hurdle, and the sub-cycle restarts. This cycle is the basic way humans learn, so it's hardly surprising.

On a macro scale, this manifests as one of 4 phases:

Phase 0 is the standard complete stranger who either hasn't heard of TRP, or disagrees with it if they have.
Phase 1 is the initial "oh hey, that actually seems accurate, and I agree with that other thing" initiation. Phase 2 is where they agree with what TRP says. Phase 3 starts at the point that they begin to question AWALT and leads to a complete unplugging from TRP. Phase 4 may never happen, but if it does, it creates a much more nuanced understanding of TRP.
Broadly, these phases go "NAWALT -> AWALT -> NAWALT -> AWALT"

[–]EntitledShitHead -3 points-2 points  (2 children)

after they get over the shock and horror of our evil misogynistic ways. Every hero needs a villain.

I would argue that blue pillers actually like us. If you look at the top posts in our archives, you'll notice that some of the top posts are actually blue pill advice written in a dark tone. Its the tone that people don't like, not the content, however the advice is great, and its not misogynistic in anyway -- we cherish women and accept them despite knowing their true nature. However, the tone we use actually contributes to bringing us new members because SJWs do the advertising for us.

What I would really want to understand is what part of TRP do blue pillers not like?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

However, the tone we use actually contributes to bringing us new members because SJWs do the advertising for us.

Just like Trump's presidential campaign

[–]manwhowouldbeking 13 points14 points  (1 child)

The interview seemed a tad hostile but was handled well. Good Job, The comments section is a house fire.

[–]DeltaRecon2552 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Really? I thought it was pretty clear cut! Definitely better than any other.

[–][deleted] 13 points14 points  (2 children)

This is amusing.

I've taken a screenshot of TotesMessengerBot showing all the butthurt reactions.

Take a look.

[–]hartke20g 7 points8 points  (1 child)

The fact that there's a subreddit called (and for) "against men's rights" is telling. That forum is a-ok, but imagine if any of our forums were called "against women's rights."

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's against the MRA subreddit I think. Not mens rights in general, although I wouldn't be surprised if they were anyway.

But, who gives a shit? They're a group on Reddit. They're just like any other internet forum moderators who have let the "power" go to their heads-they can't actually do anything to you outside of their "forum". And the fact that they devote time and energy into being "against another subreddit" really shows just how pathetic they are.

I hope they never change.

[–][deleted] 50 points51 points  (2 children)

Anyone seen pigs in the sky today? I'm waiting for that now.

[–]sigma272 52 points53 points  (1 child)

There are probably a few obese tumblrinas who got triggered so hard by this that they blasted into orbit. So yes.

[–][deleted] 33 points34 points  (4 children)

The drama is fun. I'm impressed. 3 years of collecting reddit posts of a sub with 10k posts, and 100k+ comments, and they can find 60 total comments that can be seen as distasteful, with no context (some were really padding the list IMO)

I don't think any sub has that little ratio of shitty comments

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 26 points27 points  (0 children)

I don't think any sub has that little ratio of shitty comments

It's nice when I hear somebody notice how much work the mods here do !

[–]sassypaella 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. Oh see how this big sub is terrible because something got 60 upvotes.

[–]DeltaRecon2552 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

If I had money I'd gild you.

[–]malthuswaswrong 7 points8 points  (0 children)

In regards to "proof that women like to be led" just look at the Milgram Experiment.

When pushed by a figure of authority, 75% of the participants issued what they thought was lethal punishment to a person in another room.

What you don't often hear is that the tests were divided into men and women.

5 out of 10 men issued deadly shocks.

10 out of 10 women issued deadly shocks.

Women are followers.

[–]Redasshole 69 points70 points  (32 children)

Bsutansalt delivered some purple pill. I wonder if it's good for TRP to advertise ourselves as less extreme than we are.

For instance, he didn't answer the question "do you think equality has it's place on TRP?". Of course not.

And about manipulating....of course we manipulate women. There is nothing wrong about that, they do manipulate men 1 000x more than us on a daily basis. And advertisement manipulate people too. Even nice guys manipulate through covert contracts.

[–]disposable_pants 43 points44 points  (8 children)

"do you think equality has it's place on TRP?". Of course not.

That depends entirely on what type of "equality" is being discussed. The presumption that equality means men and women are equally capable of any given task, for example, is clearly pretty far off the mark. Men are better suited to more physical jobs, and there's a reasonable amount of evidence that they're more naturally suited to certain subjects (note that women are likely better suited to men at some things, too). Men and women aren't just humans with different sexual organs; the differences run deeper than that.

But if equality means equal opportunity for the sexes, I don't see a good reason why anyone wouldn't be all for that. If on a truly even playing field a woman is a better candidate for a academic program/job/whatever, there's no reason she shouldn't get it over a less-qualified man, and the reverse should be true as well.

[–]wimmyjales 4 points5 points  (7 children)

Opportunity and encouragement are two different things. You should raise a daughter to try to shoot for the stars in whatever she wants to do with a strong emphasis on the importance of her ultimate duty as a mother. You shouldn't change fitness requirements to incentivize more women to become firemen. I mean, do what you want, but your choice should be shamed because you will get a lady killed one day. I think a lot of us are just calling for more common sense in society.

[–]disposable_pants 17 points18 points  (2 children)

You should raise a daughter to try to shoot for the stars in whatever she wants to do with a strong emphasis on the importance of her ultimate duty as a mother.

I wouldn't describe it as an "ultimate duty," but I would emphasize that she's probably going to want a family one day and that she probably will be unhappy on a fundamental level if she puts that off until her options are scarce.

You shouldn't change fitness requirements to incentivize more women to become firemen.

Obviously not. But if a woman meets all the regular fitness requirements, I'd have no problem considering her for the job. Similarly, I'd have no problem hiring a brilliant female engineer just because women as a whole may do worse in that field.

[–]look_good 4 points5 points  (1 child)

TRP embraces reality. People qualified for the job deserve the job. Manipulating hiring prerequisites to fulfill a quota is retarded.

Most women don't fit the qualified category in the fields you mention.

[–]selectStarFr0m 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In other words equality based on merit.

And it's exactly this point that feminism largely does not get. Instead of encouraging this type of thinking in the female, feminism largely wants to drag mens rights down to achieve 'equality'.

[–]IAMAwhitecismaleAMA 1 point2 points  (3 children)

You should raise a daughter to try to shoot for the stars in whatever she wants to do with a strong emphasis on the importance of her ultimate duty as a mother

Just like you should raise your sons to shoot for the stars so long as he remembers to defend and protect his family.

[–]wimmyjales 1 points1 points [recovered]

I think child rearing and protecting your family are instinctual, but you can certainly still learn about the best ways to go about it. For women, that means planning and hard work. For men, that means more planning and harder work. Not only that, but also making sure everyone else is on track, and doing all this really without any credit. So it is, so it's always been. We should rename this subreddit to "You're Welcome".

[–]IAMAwhitecismaleAMA 2 points3 points  (1 child)

We should rename it to "TheSaviorsofWesternCivilization"

[–]wimmyjales 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it's gonna take a lot more than a website to do that. Big day for the sub though, we're definitely gonna save a few more chumps now.

[–]zpatriarchy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And about manipulating....of course we manipulate women

no we don't. nobody is manipulating them, we are not controling them or tricking them or making them do something they don't want to.

girls make their own decisions.

we give them what they want.

[–]RojoEscarlata 4 points5 points  (19 children)

The responses where geared towards making the reader want to know more, this is an advertisement piece, so is not wise to try to explain in detail TRP morals to readers who don't know they content (yet)

[–]i641 2 points2 points [recovered]

Why does redpill want to grow? It was better as a tight knit community.

[–][deleted] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

believe it or not, we're here to help people

we need as much people in here to help them

[–]TRP VanguardCyralea 18 points19 points  (12 children)

While it's not TRP's direct mission, some individuals have made it their personal mission to aid as many men as possible. Expanding TRP helps in that regard.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 20 points21 points  (4 children)

some individuals have made it their personal mission to aid as many men as possible. Expanding TRP helps in that regard.

That's my mission. If it weren't, nobody would be here.

[–]Endorsed Contributorsqerl 7 points8 points  (0 children)

When I first came across TRP several years ago, I didn't swallow. Then a series of life events led me back. I read the entire side bar, the book recommendations, and the top rated posts. I went from lurking to contributing as I tried to make sense of it all.

Fast forward a few months/year... I walked away from a toxic relationship. I dropped from 18+% to 13% bf. I hit a lifting personal best a couple weeks ago. I've taken up a couple new hobbies, have a new job, and have a clue about how to handle relationships, and I'm an EC.

Thank you (and the other mods, vangards, ECs) for giving time and energy to TRP. I'm on a much better path these days and happy to continue contributing because others need help - like I did.

[–]Senior Contributoradam-l 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's my mission. If it weren't, nobody would be here.

And you're doing a fucking great job.

Managing a sub of 150,000? Keeping the balance between quality and inclusiveness? Operate on the higher level of promoting a vision, while also doing the ant's work, of recruiting and keeping serious contributors? Staying sharp on focus on the benefit of men, while accommodating such diverse and even conflicting world theories as there are among TRPers?

This is grand work. It is much appreciated.

[–]IAMAwhitecismaleAMA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Guys like that piss me off so much because they can't see past their own dick. It's not just us that's at stake it's our entire western civilization.

[–]RedMoonAscendant 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow. Cool. So many so selfish. I'm glad to see a philanthropist in the upper echelon.

[–]IAMAwhitecismaleAMA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Because we are literally trying to save western civilization. Get your fill of pussy and then you'll see. Our slut culture is unsustainable.

[–]2IVIaskerade -1 points0 points  (2 children)

It was better as a tight knit community.

It was never a "tight knit community". At the start it was a group of highly individual men chatting. Then it was a group of highly individual men arguing with other men. Then it was more men arguing with each other. Now it's lots of men arguing with each other.

[–]i641 1 points1 points [recovered]

You clearly don't understand what a tight knit community is and have never been a part of one.

[–]larrythetomato 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everyone manipulates everyone, or at least they try to. Why do you think children say please pretty please?

Some people are just honest about it, and through that honesty, they can take the things that work and build on it.

[–]ANakedBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bsutansalt delivered some purple pill. I wonder if it's good for TRP to advertise ourselves as less extreme than we are.

You have to ease them into it. The comments in that tread only tell me one thing. They didn't read the side bar. Most read some posts, see one or two and get the wrong idea, leave saying all their fears where true.

[–]eccentricrealist 23 points24 points  (1 child)

Let's see how well we're recieved. We've got like a 50% upvote rate right now, but damn, subreddit of the day is a pretty good milestone.

[–]DoesNotMatterAnymore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

subreddit of the day is a pretty good milestone.

Right before dinging 150k subscribers.

[–]Dazlij 30 points31 points  (15 children)

This year has been so strange. Definitely well timed with theory week.

Also, I'm pretty sure MBTI is a scam. One of the guys who is on the board of the company that makes the test says that he doesn't trust or use the test himself.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 13 points14 points  (2 children)

MBTI is a scam

I don't put too much stock in it, personally. However it's a useful approximation for helping give advice over the internet.

[–]ZadocPaet 4 points5 points  (1 child)

I agree. MBTI is a scam in as much as you pay for it. Typically it's zero. I've worked in training and development and instructional design my entire professional career. I've created a team building class around MBTI that I put on. It's not scientific, but it does lead to general realizations that are useful.

[–]RP_Vergil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

MBTI is like a Generalization Class people wish to identify with. Much like how humans want to be identified with a Group, MBTI allows them to feel "Special".

It's a funny thing that most people wouldn't want to be "labelled" but are excited to be proclaiming that they are a certain MBTI Personality Archetype.

[–]TRP VanguardCyralea 9 points10 points  (7 children)

It's only a scam if you can't use heuristics as a guideline. MBTI is a means of providing a rough model of human personality types. As /u/bsutansalt mentioned in his interview, it encapsulates a significant portion (80-90%) of people accurately, even if not 100% so.

Understanding how probability works and the degree to which it provides you useful information is an important skill for finding success in life.

[–]Senior ContributorDemonspawn 8 points9 points  (0 children)

it encapsulates a significant portion (80-90%) of people accurately, even if not 100% so.

All models are wrong. Some models are useful.

[–]2rp_valiant 7 points8 points  (3 children)

MBTI works like a selection of Barnam statements. One of the 16 types will fit any individual well enough that they latch onto it.

[–]TRP VanguardCyralea 5 points6 points  (1 child)

No, not really. There is a significant amount of predictive power with MBTI, something a generic Barnum statement like a horoscope doesn' encapsulate.

[–]2rp_valiant 1 point2 points  (0 children)

MBTI breaks people down into separate groups far enough to have some limited predictive power. It's somewhat based in truth but it just isn't actionable enough to be anything more than fluff.

[–]through_a_ways 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One of the 16 types will fit any individual well enough that they latch onto it.

There is a specific personality component associated with individuals who base their identities around externally dictated archetypes. I don't think the MBTI can measure it, but it's probably associated with something like __FJ.

[–]TurnDownForWhat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whats this interview? I must have missed this please link.

Edit: nvm I'm an idiot.

[–]jethreezy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While the MBTI may have some predictable powers, it is quite a flawed model. Wikipedia does a good job of highlighting its limitations.

The most damning criticisms I found are:

  1. No evidence for dichotomies - all 4 dimensions are normally distributed, not bimodal. For example, someone who's 45% N (i.e. 55% S) would be more similar to another person who's 55% N (i.e. 45% S) than either would be to people on their respective ends of the N-S spectrum, but the MBTI tries to convince otherwise.

  2. Factor analysis - "Researchers have reported that the JP and the SN scales correlate with one another. One factor-analytic study based on (N=1291) college-aged students found six different factors instead of the four purported dimensions, thereby raising doubts as to the construct validity of the MBTI." This is precisely why I believe the Big Five, although by no means perfect, is a better model than the MBTI.

  3. Reliability - "The test-retest reliability of the MBTI tends to be low. Large numbers of people (between 39% and 76% of respondents) obtain different type classifications when retaking the indicator after only five weeks." This challenges your assertion that it encapsulates 80-90% of people accurately. From anecdotal experiences, I've also met quite a few people, who were the archetypal socializing shunning introvert, become party animals once you get them out of their shell. In other words, the MBTI seems keen on prescribing a certain amount of immutability to a given individual's personality type that is simply not consistent with reality.

Lastly, based on extensive research, I find the whole construct of the different types of "functions" to be very contrived. For example, people with extroverted sensing (Se) are proclaimed as being well attuned to the outside physical world, supposedly correlating to behaviors such as being athletic, prone to becoming gluttonous, indulgent material wealth, etc. But I've seen these traits in many people who do not have Se in their "stack". And the whole Ne vs Ni differences, where the former is characterized as a scattered creative function and the latter an inwardly-focus insight function, are just some baseless pseudoscientific theories.

[–]IAMAwhitecismaleAMA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I treat it like an iq test. Plus, reading up on the 16 different personality types really gave me insight into the way I work and what actions I should "practice" to act more "normal." I was INTP, but pretty much everyone on the internet is too. It's like a cheat sheet for whoever you want to be.

[–]Scroph 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Also, I'm pretty sure MBTI is a scam. One of the guys who is on the board of the company that makes the test says that he doesn't trust or use the test himself.

From what I read it's definitely controversial, but then again it's more accurate than the alpha/beta dichotomy we often use here.

It says on Wikipedia that it was constructed by "Katharine Cook Briggs and her daughter Isabel Briggs Myers". Referencing a test that was designed by two women shows that TRP doesn't automatically reject and deny the contributions of women, and this wouldn't be the first example. In other words, we give credit where credit is due.

[–]2niczar 2 points3 points  (0 children)

but then again it's more accurate than the alpha/beta dichotomy we often use here

The alpha/beta dichotomy is pretty accurate when it's used to describe specific behaviors here. It's completely inappropriate when describing people, in part because this does not correspond to the complexity of human social structures (it does not even correspond to wolf behavior in the wild for that matter.) And then it's not even a dichotomy in that sense, because that's forgetting omega males.

[–]thefoxman88 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Really enjoying the reruns of the sidebar content, feels like a refreshing beer.

I had forgotten for a moment what the "real world" reddit is like and the amount of pussies and worthless people who refuse to use/accept good advice here to feel morally superior. Props to the female mod though! First comment I see and she locked it. I'm sure those weak motherfuckers are furious LOL

[–]almostayearinthered 20 points21 points  (10 children)

Do you guys think increased TRP awareness is a net gain?

I used to be selfish about this knowledge, then tried to help some friends and gave up, now I keep it to myself

[–]TRP VanguardCyralea 21 points22 points  (2 children)

The medium matters here. Outing yourself as a TRP supporter has far more negative externalities than positive. But making this place more visible and discoverable to men searching for an answer? Few downsides, if any.

Not that I think it'd happen, but if TRP somehow became so widespread that everyone was taking advantage of this knowledge, I can't say that I'd mind such a society.

[–]almostayearinthered 15 points16 points  (1 child)

I would enjoy less pussy men in this world. Red pill minded men make way better and more enjoyable friends

[–]2Overkillengine 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Depends if they are on the hedonism or pragmatism end of the red pill spectrum; the hedonist is very likely to use the information here to be more effective at throwing other men under the bus so that they can get their dick wet right now.

Never make the mistake of thinking this place is monolithic in culture. Being able to see behind the curtain and the actions taken in response are entirely different things.

[–]Entershikari 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You can't save those who are not ready or don't want to.

Lead by example bro

[–]GeminiEngine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes because I get more out of oral discussion than online forums.

I don't go all out on sharing knowledge. I just point out patterns for people. No arguments/discussions, just observations. And once in a while, someone asks a question I can help with; though far rarer, I get questions I have to look up and show off the community. Most realize that far more people actually have taken the time to look at their problems they just did not know a community existed solely for such.

[–]IAMAwhitecismaleAMA -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Once you get your fill of pussy you start looking long term. Both for your own relationships and your country in general.

I'm actually horrified with what is going on with western civilization so I want to shove a red pill down every white guy's throat that I can. I know it's a slow process irl so I throw little bits here and there.

[–]mada0207 -4 points-3 points  (1 child)

Oh yeah. The amount of man who can join the tribe is always good.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Eh but now there will be more uninformed people voting and commenting, watering down the content.

[–]Snufek 19 points20 points  (0 children)

We should be happy for all the men who will discover TRP because of this, another great opportunity for our brothers.

[–]JimFury 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Awesome. I love that. The biggest reason I see people blindly hating trp is the anger phase guys go through. They come they see this, which is the most dominant phase in most of trp and asktrp, and they say wow that guy hates women. We don't actually hate women, I love women. I love all their shenanigans they're just not what we were brought up to believe. Seeing women for what they are isn't a bad thing just like women seeing men for what we are isn't a bad thing it just changes the information that we've been force-fed since we were kids. If you wade through the bullshit that is the anger phase and get to the meat and potatoes of the information it'll help your life quite a bit. Instead of pushing to love women as your goals you enhance yourself and women flock to that.

I'm reading the comments people are leaving under that post. It's about what I expected. While some people will unplug and join us, anger phase and all, there is still an inherent toxicity towards us. We're still a long ways away from being widely accepted, but maybe that's for the best.

We're still a long ways away from being widely accepted, but maybe that's for the best.

That'll always be the case. It's that way with everything. Maybe in the next 2 or 3 generations things will change for the better.

Well guide them to the light. They'll join us when ready. Superman TRP

Locked 30 minutes ago... By a girl who simply had to point out that she is a girl.

Hahaha how typical. Gee sweetheart, got them panties in a bunch today.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Their most popular thread ( highest comments, most votes), and they had to lock it because a woman got offended?

LMFAO.

Looks like the mods might have to put in some overtime to keep the anger phasers and trolls under control.

Are we breaking the Rule no. 1?

[–]AnalLeak 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Wow I'm extremely surprised that this happened. Prepare for a huge influx of men who are going to end up relearning what it's like to be a man.

[–]Linoran 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]ITHOUGHTYOUMENTWEAST 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Never expected this to happen

I don't see why some people feel the need to publicize TRP. Let them all stay blind for all I care.

[–]1nrokchi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is good for the sub. The sub here isn't all about game and frame; there's a fair amount here that focuses on self improvement, the psychology of success and happiness, fitness tips (especially around motivation versus discipline), and how to find balance in a relationship, notably around establishing boundaries, expectations, and reciprocity. While all I said might seem strange, it's merely because I did not use some of the common jargon found here.

In all, congratulations to those of us here. We aren't all misogynist failures looking to blame women for all the woes of our society. There is a strong contingent here who are looking to make their lives--and, by extension, the lives of their spouses--better. Those are the people we should be celebrating today.

I never thought this day would come. The times really are changing. So happy!

anyone who say keep TRP a secret can shut the hell up now. Everyone knows about it

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Anyone get the stats on how many new subscribers we got vs. how many we normally get in the same time span?

[–]trumpisafaggybeta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a very small step in the right direction-- get TRP's name out there such that men are exposed to it. Feminists/manginas will keep berating it, but until people actually see what this sub promotes, the message won't spread.

This will be interesting :). Yay TRP Forever!
