There are many aspects to Redpill philosophy: theory, self-improvement, game, social dynamics, and on. But all of it boils down to this: recognizing the truth for what it is. Recognizing men for what they are, their strengths and weaknesses. And recognizing women for what they are, with their strengths and weaknesses.
It is called The Red Pill, I surmise, because once you take the proverbial pill and accept the possibility that it might be true, you start seeing confirmation everywhere. I accept RP philosophies because it did a better job explaining and predicting reality than any other philosophy I've encountered. If you can show me a better philosophy with even more predictive power than TRP, I'll be first in line to switch.
On to the point: the Red Pill philosophy seems anti-female. I can understand that.
A few reasons why it seems that way:
Many newbies start in phase where they genuinely hate women. Imagine if someone you knew had been lying to you, controlling you, and taking advantage of you for most of your adult life. Upon becoming aware of it, the natural and logical reaction is anger and hatred. TRP's explosive growth means that the vast majority of guys are still in the anger phase.
Women are angelicized ruthlessly in the media. They are put on a pedestal, they are forgiven of heinous crimes, and they are generally presented as beings who can do no wrong. When they ARE shown as doing wrong, their agency is removed. She "couldn't help herself." She "made mistakes." Or, here's a good one: "a bad man was controlling her!" A lot of the "woman-hate" in TRP is merely pointing out the common misbehaviors of women. Newbies need to hear this often, as an antidote to the constant pedestalizing they're fed. TRP is a safe place to share the negative aspects of women, so that our view of them can be balanced.
Lastly, thanks to 25+ years of gender feminism, Western women are out of control. They've been getting away with so much, for so long (sometimes literally getting away with murder. See /r/PussyPass.), that they've run amok. It's not just a question of "well... some women are good and some are bad!" In the west, the entire tide has shifted towards bad. That gyrocopter chick in the UK? If that was in Asia, she never would've assaulted that guy, because she would have expected that he'd knock her on her ass.
The truth is, most of the veteran RPers LOVE women. I love women. Feminine energy is amazing; it's the perfect complement to masculinity. I hope to one day settle down with the right women and start a family.
The problem is that our politically correct media sells us the idea that women are a lot like men. This is confusing for both genders. It teaches men to expect women to be something that they're not, and this mismatch between expectation and reality causes a lot of pain for us.
The whole point of TRP is to understand the truth about women so you can decide how best to get involved. I wouldn't be here if I didn't love women. I just found them so fucking confusing, that I turned to the internet for undrestanding. That quest for truth led me here. Now, I love women more than ever -- but it's with my eyes open.
Just like men, women are NOT inherently good. They're just women. And THAT, my friends, is equality.
