I just found out I'm circumcised ಠ_ಠ (self.TRPOffTopic)

I'm 18 and I find it hard to believe that it took this long for me to find out I'm cut. I looked at some pictures of circumcised & un-circumcised and I'm definitely cut (scar & no trunk skin). I always thought mine was "normal" and I assumed that circumcisions was something more common in Africa & Jewish families. As an American, this is apparently quite common. I don't feel angry or anything, I can make myself orgasm without lube & I have zero complaints when it comes to sex (except oral). In fact, I think I prefer being cut over not, it looks better & cleaner to me. I don't think I'm going to ask my parents, it's not that of big deal to get their confirmation. Now that I think about it, I don't think my high school health class ever went into this subject.

Finding this out made me wonder: Is being circumcised really that detrimental to a life of good sex? When did any of you guys find out you were circumcised?

I don't know why you think it matters so much, I hear it doesn't really make a difference. I have actually heard that cut leaves you less prone to STD's, which is a plus.

I was 23 when I found out that there is such a thing called circumcision and that I was uncircumcised.

Some american girls are wierded out by it so you have that going on for you. normalcy.

Being un cut you have to clean more and you're more sensitive, the male foreskin is like the females clit. I have mine, I'm never cutting it off, but I wouldn't worry too much if I was cut at birth.

I was around 20 when I became aware of what circumcision really was.

Results vary, some cut men can have a good sex life while for some it causes issues. Its indisputable though that being cut means there are many nerves you have lost, and sex will not be as good as it could have been. It should have been made illegal 50 years ago imo. The U.S. is pretty much the only nation that commonly circumcises for non-religious reasons, I believe this was caused by a large percentage of doctors in the 20th century being Jewish.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
