I say this as a man who has lots of questions and is looking for the best RP response to many situations. I've read the sidebar, hundreds of posts and their responses, and yet I still feel the urge to immediately ask other guys on here what they would say or do.

Almost every time I start laying out my question I think of what the responses will be, and much more importantly, how I would respond to the same question. 99% of the time I'll get my answer.

Removing yourself from the outcome of the situation and applying reason and experience as you would if your best friend asked for advice will always give you the best answer. After all, this is your life, no one is responsible for it but you. Answers given by others do not carry the same weight that self-realized conclusions do.

tl dr; The best answers come from within

The best answers come from within, once you have a solid frame. Prior to that, not knowing our asses from a hole in the ground is how we all ended up here... looking for the wisdom of others who had been in the trenches of this crazy shit called marriage.

If it was all laid out to a man what marriage was truly like, how many would EVER tie the knot.

Knowing what you know now, how many would get married again? Think back to the death knell of your relationship. I'm willing to bet, if you are completely honest with yourself, that it followed closely after you said 'I do.'

Practice makes perfect.

Experience is your best teacher. Try different things that you read about in different situations.

Fact.

I recently stopped asking my friends: "what would you do if you were me?"

It can become toxic.

Instead I ask myself: "what would I do if I were me?"

Much better. And Nathaniel Brandon is a boss btw.

That said, I wouldn't have been able to see this problem or the solution if I hadn't been an idiot here first. Thanks MRP

If you have a question, first read the sidebar and books. Next ask yourself how a red pill aware masculine man would answer the same question. Simple enough.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
