"Ten Traps That Trip Up The Trying-To-Be-Submissive Wife" is a short but well composed collection of what not to do in a relationship. New members and women who aren't sure exactly where to start can use this as a reference. The original site seems to be down so its a pinterest link (I definitely recommend creating boards about femininity and marriage if you use Pinterest). Please let me know what you think of the list! How are you incorporating the ideas into your life? What would you add, or perhaps change?

I would add, being submissive just to get what you want. It's another form of manipulation.

I would add something about trash talking about your husband with friends or constantly trying to change little habits he might have. Great list!

I think it would be really cool if the sub did a throw back Thursday thing and would pull a few oldies but goodies from the archives. :)

LOVE this idea! M and I are going on a trip this upcoming week, starting on Thurs so I'm not sure if TBT can happen this week but if not, definitely the following week :D

And yes both of those are great. We could make our own RPW list!

I would add giving unwanted advice or information while trying to be helpful. I find I do this so much, trying to go above and beyond to help my husband, make sure he has what he needs, take care of him, etc. I soon realized it can come across as being overbearing or treating him like a child. He is an adult and knows what he wants and will say something if he needs/wants something.

I'm guilty of this too. What helps me is taking a deep breath and remembering how grateful I am that my SO is doing whatever it is and not me. Who cares how the thing gets done as long as the end result is the same, right?

It's a good list :)

So glad you like it too :)

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
