I want to see the actual policy. If it really just says "dress like women" then it's a bit of a dud... like how can you not expect scrutiny (legal or social) for that. Also, I'm not sure I like what most "women" do with their clothing choices (and eyebrows) nowadays.

I think we all get what he means. Dress feminine, clean cut, attractive without being unprofessionally attracting. But it could easily mean a shot ton of face contouring, huge ass drawn on eyebrows, ill fitting and ripped denim along with boxy short cropped tops, sneakers, and a half shaved head... at least based on the way women in my city dress.

So terrible! A Boss with a dress code!! Horrid!!

Also; Hilarious that Bannon wears whatever he wants! How unlike his character!

I loved the Bannon comment as well! As some one who hopes to never see my husband forced into a suit and tie I found that particularly manly. haha

So he wants his public facing staff to look as impeccable as possible? I can't fathom why after the Spicer suit commentary.. /s

A woman's body is a beautiful thing. When a woman looks her best, she looks like a woman. I'm not saying you can't look like a woman in pants, I'm saying that a sloppy outfit is not womanly, and Trump doesn't want sloppy.

Trump doesn't want sloppy.

There was a tweet a few days back with a picture of Trump in the Oval Office; it pointed out that there were no feet on the desk as has been done in the past and that everyone was wearing a jacket. They looked like they were getting down to serious business, and indeed they were!

Do not forget this lovely moment

The only thing even close to messy in this photo is the paperwork. You know, from all the things he's working on.

Well, at least Obama was wearing a tie... /s

Yeah, you can definitely look womanly in form fitting trousers that show off your feminine hips paired with high heels and a pretty blouse!

Is this a problem really? I did admin work for a company in the city and it was pretty much expected there you dress business smart ladylike all the time that means a smart dress with 'work' heels, it's not hard you just put your trainers in your work bag so you have a comfortable journey there and back. I would think anyone working at the White House male or female would be expected to look their professional best at all time! Don't get me wrong I much prefer working in an environment where your not under so much pressure to look good while working but some companies especially those dealing with high end clientele expect their staff to reflect the company, that shouldn't be a hard concept to grasp.

I don't get it. He's not saying no short hair or no pants or what to do on your free time. Is this a slight against transgender people?

I'd imagine working at the White House you'd be expected to dress in business attire for both men and women. Appropriate dresses, skirts or trousers with blouses and jackets.

Edit: I have a different mindset/demeanor when I'm dressed professionally vs business casual or casual.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
