Gratituesday (self.RedPillWives)

submitted by jade_cat

It's already Tuesday!

Name three things you are grateful for. At least one of them should be about your SO/husband (if applicable). :)

  1. I'm grateful my SO wants to take care of me. I got sick yesterday and took care of me by making me Jello and buying himself and my daughter dinner. He always looks out for me :D

  2. I'm grateful for my stepmother and my aunt who took me to the ER. They are super women who really have my back.

  3. I am grateful for HBO and their wonderful shows for without them I'd be super bored today at home while I am getting better.

  1. I'm grateful my hubby went to our accountant yesterday and picked up our tax return, chased down his business partner to have him sign it, then organize our trip to the post office to get it out before deadline! He really saved the day.

  2. I'm grateful for an understanding coworker (and friend), who didn't hesitate to finish up our afternoon workload when I ran out of the office to meet hubby and head to the post office. She's the best.

  3. I'm grateful that I was able to visit my parents last weekend. I don't see them as often as I would like, since they live so far away, and I appreciate every minute I get to spend with them both.

  1. I'm grateful for the wonderful staff at the urgent care center and the night nurses at the hospital for taking care of my SO while he was sick this weekend.

  2. I'm grateful for the great communication between me and my SO's mom when I had to leave the hospital for work, while she stayed with him.

  3. I'm grateful for getting a chance to interview at a new place. I have been needing to switch jobs for a while and this could be the ticket. So, fingers crossed.

  4. I'm grateful for my mom taking care of my cats while I take care of my SO this week.

  5. I'm grateful for coffee for getting me through these past couple of days.

Sorry, couldn't keep it at three. I have way too much to be grateful for this week.

I hope your SO gets better soon! And good luck on that interview. I'm in the same boat looking for a new role at the moment!

Thank you! I'm needing some positive vibes right about now.

  1. I'm grateful for my friends and family who have helped me out so much in the past week while I was going through a very stressful time.

  2. I'm grateful for the gardening and homesteading talents of my SO's parents, and the wonderful eggs, meat, and vegetables they have been giving to me.

  3. I'm grateful for free yoga classes at the gym, because they have really helped keep me grounded.

1.) I am grateful that J loves all of the silly Pinterest-y homemade gifts that I make him. No matter if it's a scarf or a pair of mittens or a really bad sweater or a text-based game or a shoebox full of "open when!" letters, he treats them like they're expensive watches and wears them with pride.

2.) I am grateful for the colder weather waking me up out of my little funk and pushing me to do more and be more. I think I have the opposite of SAD. When it starts getting darker, I start waking up.

3.) I'm grateful for my parents teaching me how to cook as I grew up. It amazes me how people around me don't even know how to make something as simple as a pasta salad without a drastically underseasoned pinterest recipe!

shoebox full of "open when!"

I did this when I went on vacation with a friend. I left my SO a letter a day and he opened them every single day right before bed. He said it was the sweetest/cutest thing ever.

That's so cute! I should keep that in mind if either of us ever leaves the other's side for more than a day, haha. It would be cute to do again.

  1. I'm grateful for my husband. He is constantly on the look out for opportunities to connect and that really blesses me.

  2. I'm grateful for my mom. She has been amazingly supportive and brought my oldest up to the hospital today so she could see her little sister.

  3. More hubs gratitude. He's an awesome dad. He really is exceptional!

  1. i'm grateful for the heart to heart talks i've gotten to have with my bf lately. (no, i didn't force him to talk about feels, it's just that our conversations have been more deep and less silly/playful than normal, and i appreciate that side of him)
  2. i'm grateful that work is easy today, i can pretty much relax and drink all the tea (i have a cold)
  3. i'm grateful for this sub, even though i haven't posted in months. i still read it daily.

  1. I'm grateful my husband takes care of our financial affairs so well.

  2. I'm grateful my husband is such an involved and loving father.

  3. I'm grateful that I don't have to date or go on big nights out anymore. Went to the local 'meat market' recently for a friends birthday for the first time in ages and it reminded me how awful it was and how I am definitely a stay at home kind of girl.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

  1. The husband is taking care of me during this first trimester. I know I've been a bundle of nausea and stress and he's done all he can to make me comfortable.
  2. Thankful that my work is being understanding over my sickness lately. I think they realise I'd rather be working and painting than at home feeling terrible.
  3. Also grateful I'm seeing my bestie on the weekend. It been waaaay too long since I had girl time with her.

Realise I'm a little late! Also, so many of you are ill! I hope you all feel better. I love Fall but I hate the illness that comes with it lol.

I love Fall but I hate the illness that comes with it

Ain't it the truth?!?!?!

  1. I'm grateful for a husband that encourages my daydreams and hopes, even when they seem silly or impossible to him. He may not understand... but he cares anyways :)

  2. I'm grateful to work with a team of nurses that are so tight and so willing to help each other. Every single person on the team will stay past their shift to help you out of shit if you need it. They are teaching me to be more selfless everyday, and I'm humbled that they think I'm good enough to be their coworker.

  3. I'm grateful for the Midwestern autumn that's happening right now. Some of the leaves are almost neon, and it's been 70 degrees and low humidity - perfect weather for my favorite season!

  1. I broke my back last weekend, and I'm so grateful my BF has been able to help with many things, now that I haven't been able to even lift a laundry basket.

  2. I love my family, when I called them that I broke my back, they made a big family dinner and my dad drove to pick me up from another town to relax with them for a day.

  3. I'm grateful that when I couldn't do my work, my co-workers did all the important and busy tasks that I had scheduled. I felt bad for them 'cause they have their own work as well, but they said that for a couple of days it was no problem. So I'm super thankful I don't have emergency waiting for me at work.

  1. I'm grateful for my tight-knit family who's always looking out for one another and always ready to lend a hand.

  2. I'm grateful for my husband's master Tetris skills when packing stuff in cars.

  3. I'm grateful for our calm, slow-paced, drama-free and stress-free life.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
