Share photos and updates of whatever you’ve made or are currently working on! Art, jewelry, quilting, new favorite dinner recipe, cards, clothing - anything that you've been making time to create!!

P.S. - This Saturday was supposed to be a book discussion, but since we never actually came to a consensus on a book, there will be a surprise stickied post! Also we are definitely still doing the competition, stay tuned for more information :)

Here is some of the jewelry that I have finished lately; I'm still a beginner and learning a lot, but I'm having tons of fun wearing them around!

I love the ring all the way on the right!!!! So beautiful.

[–]littleteafox3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I like both the one on the right and the green best! Awesome work :)

I too love the ring on the right! But also the bracelet!!! I would rock that everywhere!

[–]Camille11325[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

These look great, green ring in the middle is especially stunning!

These are so pretty! I love that pink stone.

[–]QueenBee1261 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

You are so talented! Those are gorgeous :)

I've always been into calligraphy off and on...here is what I've been working on most recently! I copied out a thousand-year-old English manuscript, translating a lot of it as I went (at least my degree was good for something) https://imgur.com/a/b15Mz

[–]BeautifulSpaceCadet4 points5 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Holy crap so cool...teach me your ways (I won't ever use this skill but I'd like to think I might)

[–]L1vewarePr0blem30 / LTR 4yrs0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

Pretty much no one will ever USE this skill unless they're Neil Caffrey from White Collar, but it's damn fun regardless :)

It's kind of something I picked up naturally starting from age 8 or so...this has always been my nerd jam. But if you wish to walk around proclaiming things in thousand-year-old English and confusing everyone, might I suggest this?

[–]BeautifulSpaceCadet1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Trollololol. HOW DARE DOTH SUGGEST THAT MY SKILL OF DESIRE SHALL BE FOUNDETH OF NO USE UNLESS I HAVE A COLLAR OF WHITE!

On second thought I think my Old English skills could totally benefit from that book.

[–]L1vewarePr0blem30 / LTR 4yrs1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Btw I suck at mobile formatting, sorry that link is just dangling there!

[–]littleteafox1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

That's beautiful :)

[–]QueenBee1260 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

Okay... This. Is. Awesome!!! Really it is! You might be able to get a little Etsy store going for yourself selling pieces like this even? Or a renaissance fair booth? Love!

[–]L1vewarePr0blem30 / LTR 4yrs1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

The renaissance faire booth would be fun!!! I love the idea of an Etsy store but I worked out what I'd be able to charge versus time it would take to produce each piece, and I would net a whopping $2.25 an hour! XD

Can I add a request?

I'm looking for some easy, healthy bakes that are suitable for breakfasts. I want to start prepping my breakfasts the night before as much as is possible.

Everything I've found so far is loaded on sugar. I don't mind using more natural sugars like honey or banana for example, but I'd rather keep it simple. I'd be super grateful to hear your ideas.

[–]littleteafox5 points6 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I really enjoy egg muffins. You can't really go wrong with them, and they're perfect if you're interested in low carb/keto. It's basically 1 dozen eggs + filling of your choice, baked in muffin pans. This week I've done: Baby spinach + turkey bacon + cheddar cheese + green onion :) about 40mins @350, a little over 100cals per.

[–]SleepingBeautyWokeUpMid 30s, Married 8 Years, Together 111 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

This is what I was going to suggest as well. Egg bakes are so easy and healthy!

[–]Littleknownfacts5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

http://sallysbakingaddiction.com/2013/09/18/skinny-peanut-butter-banana-muffins/

When I made them, it came to about 200 calories per muffin. They aren't super sweet, but still yummy. If your not specifically looking for baked goods, I have recipes for quinoa cups and egg sandwiches that are great to make in bulk and freeze.

[–]katnip863 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

These Paleo Morning Glory Muffins are my absolute favorite!

I haven't crocheted in a long time. I'm sad to say. however, I am now 28% fluent in French. Thanks Duolingo :) Also, i am working on a song called blow the man down. It is the first time where the left hand and right hand aren't playing the same note length the whole piece. It is confusing to me to get the timing down right but I'm allllmmmoosssttt there.

I also made this last night for dinner. it usually is a great recipe for an appetizer but my daughter really likes it so I made it for a meal with some rice and pasta salad.

  • 10oz. black currant jelly

  • 5oz. brown spicy mustard

  • 2 x 16oz. polska kielbasa ropes

Place jelly into crock pot on low to melt it.

Cut kielbasa into bite sized chunks and boil for 10 minutes.

Put kielbasa and mustard into crockpot and mix the RPWi way.

Cook on high for 1 hour (I usually mix it here and there).

Serve with toothpicks and sparkling water.

Félicitations!!! :D

Now that I'm finally up and running, We finally finished the big project we've been working on, the dinning room! The after color really isn't quite as dark as the photo, and has a slightly more blueish hue. Before and after Neither of us liked the before colors, made the room feel very dark, and it wasn't enjoyable to be in. So we spruced it up a bit! I will be making draperies for the window, currently looking locally for a creamy toile

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

I love what you did below the chair rail. Small details like that make a huge difference than just painting it plain white.

[–]Tryin2BeBetrThanB4Early 20s, Married, 4 years1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Thanks! I love it too! It wasn't that much work either. I was originally going to get trim, cut it and glue it together, but I saw at the hardware store they actually had premade frames just for this! Saved sooo much time and work! 😃

[–]QueenBee1261 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Isn't it great when things like that are already done?! 🙈 Love the room & color choices! It's going to be beautiful, keep us updated

My big hobby right now is stationary! Who needs email when you have loads of assortments of paper?? :V

My shopping list for June for stationary:

  • Kate Spade notepad
  • Fountain Pen
  • Blank mail cards and envelopes! (I want to start mailing old college friends)
  • A new planner. My Erin Condren is falling apart and I want something sturdier and smaller

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (7 children) | Copy Link

Still haven't decided on the monthly planner vs the happiness planner?

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (6 children) | Copy Link

i am torn!! I really like the Day Designer planner but the Happiness planner has lovely quotes and things! Idk.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

I would tell my SO "Pick H or D" and then go with what he says. I always get caught in analysis paralysis. By the time you make a choice it'll be next year and they will have new designs by then :)

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

i got home last night and after talking to my bf on the phone I realized how much free time I actually have now that I'm no longer in grad school. I need more hobbies :V

Other than stationary and planners, I think I want to take up yoga. Maybe 1-2x a week when I'm not with my guy.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

OO That is such a great idea!! Yoga is great! If you'd like any tips I'd be happy to help out :)

[–]Camille11325[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

The Day Designer also has quotes! Every day there is a motivational/inspirational quote or proverb at the top of the page.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

!!!!!

You just made this more complicated /u/Camille11325 !!! XD

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I went with the Plum Paper Planner because I could customize sections of the layout and the planner itself! It should be coming in next week! I'll let you know my full review soon!

[–]QueenBee1260 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I was at the post office the other day mailing a package and they had this lovely stationary set, it was spring time/cherry blossom themed, 12 note cards, 12 matching envelopes and get this: MATHCING CHERRY BLOSSOM STAMPS! And it was reasonably priced too! They had a few other types but the blossoms were my favorite

[–]jade_cat1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Tried my hand at some French bread! It's a bit flat, but the taste and texture were definitely right. :)

Yummmmy

I missed the discussion about a possible book club read, but for the future I'd like to suggest 'Madame Bovary' if it hasn't already been suggested. I think it's a fantastic example of the sort of issues that Red Pill Wives discuss.

[–]nouvelle_rouge1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh man Emma Bovary- the original desperate housewife. Flaubert really nailed it- I guess that's why they say he's a realist. I also recommend this as a good book to read through an RP lens.

[–]nouvelle_rouge1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

champagne flutes my friend and I made at the beach last weekend and a stencil I made of my boyfriend I used to spray paint him on canvas...I forgot to take a picture of the final painting before giving it to him but I wouldn't want to post it anyway since he's a huge stickler about online privacy...but I think the stencil I have is ok to share :)

I bake a little for money on the side and I just made these for a coworker's son's birthday. I just bought some new cookie cutters and I can't wait to try them out!

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
