Hi ladies,

I was curled up reading this morning awaiting an appt and I thought to myself some of you might really enjoy this magazine I subscribe to. It's called Bella Grace and it's a thick quarterly magazine I found at JoAnn Fabrics (or maybe it was Michael's). The magazine has all these really great short stories, poems, and photos - beautiful spreads of photography. It's all about "Find magic in the ordinary" and they say "Celebrate your messy life. Shine a spotlight on small, everyday moments – they are special, and they are yours." It's very positive and really nice for some quiet meditation and reading time.

I thought I'd share since I really enjoy it maybe you will as well :) Personally my favorite story so far has been called "Mining the Quiet" and it talks about taking pleasure in the quiet moments, putting away your phone, and letting the peace come in.

Thank you! I've been looking for a good magazine for ages! Vogue is the epitome of "classy magazine" but it's been extremely trashy lately, from the pictures to the actual writing. Marie Claire and Elle are supposed to be more high-brow and thinking-woman, in fact I used to love MC for shining light on important issues. Now it's all slutty clothing ads and silly makeup tips I'll never use.

There is a need for a woman's magazine that caters to the mind, that brings lovely stories and help people change for the better. The closest I had was the Martha Stewart website. Not perfect but mostly free from stupid ads and poisonous thoughts like Cosmo (ugh)

If you have any more suggestions of entertainment, magazines, movies and music, you have very good taste, please share :)

I'm not sure if they have this outside the UK, but going down the line of "classy magazine", I've been subscribed to Tatler for several years now. There are a reasonable amount of ads, but there's some good features in it, and it's usually about actually interesting people, like Princess Kate or people who own entire Formula 1 teams, rather than what Taylor Swift had for breakfast this morning :)

I'll go to the UK soon, I can try it out :)

Currently reading online, delightful!

I just looked up their website, how beautiful!

I haven't subscribed to a magazine in years, but I'm seriously tempted and think I might. What a perfect antidote to most modern women's magazines which I find fairly repellent... not to mention so. many. ads.

This free article is lovely: Strong in the Softest of Ways
