As a tall, fit white guy that likes to fuck black chicks, I love the discrimination in online dating. Makes it easier.

What is the difference between racism and choice?

In this context isn't racism just choices that the writer doesn't like?

If I like tall girls or short girls I can't be a racist, because usually race and height are not related (though even here some races are noted for being different from average.)

When does a preference become racist?

Is this article really about the people being racist, or is about the author and when the author "perceives" racism?

In real life I actually like women with brown skin even though I'm white simply because I find my own skin unattractive...I have moles, freckles and visible veins. So my choice is based on what I find visually appealing. I actually married a woman who was the colour of coffee. I think she has beautiful skin and that was part of my attraction to her.

Yet would a researcher write my preference off as "racist, because he likes dark skin" ?

If you don't like a person because of skin color/ethnicity than it's racist... pretty simple.

Ethnicity..I agree. That's just another word for race so by definition you are correct.

Skin colour - I disagree. In fact even Caucasian people display large variations in skin colour - some are white, some are quite brown due to tanning etc. - so to say it's racist to have a preference for something that is not racially based is obviously incorrect.

Also, when you say "you don't like" I want to make it clear that it's not that I don't like them, I just prefer other colours. That is not the same thing.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
