The title of that article isnt correct.

The title should be:

Tinder Users Aren't Having More Casual Sex Than the Average Person the average person with casual short-term preference

Because the conclusion is:

"We conclude that the new technology provided by PBMDAs (aka TINDER) merely represents a new arena for short-term sexual behavior, and not necessarily a facilitator of new sexual behaviors."

And someone said: "Dating app users don’t have more casual sexual partners than others with the same short-term preference"

So. Tinder attracts people the have short-term preference. Whom have equal amount of sex as other people with short-term preference. But the title says "the avergae person". But it's not the average person, becasue it's "the average person with short-term preference". But I doubt that the everage person, has short term preference, probably that's more a minority (at least for sure for women) that have a short term preference.

This just isn’t true

Do you have any objections to the methodology of the study?

I just have an objection that the conclusion violates objective reality

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
