afaik, bezos had nothing when he was already married, they did everything under marriage, so no prenup there and that's fair.

I agree that a prenup wouldn't have saved him. I don't agree that it is "fair" that m'lady gets a small country's GDP for winning the husband lottery; but yeah, Bezos can't be helped. Lesson: Never marry.

Yeah, what kind of prenup would that have to be? "If I become a billionaire and we divorce, you get nothing"? If he made that money during the marriage it's shared assets and he owes a part of it to her in the divorce fair and square.

My train of thought.

Less/fewer young (millenials) people marry.

Whom then still marry?

I suspect millenial men that are doing financially well but lack the looks for Chad-lifestyle (or the ones that could, but prefer monogamy).

Financially welldoing men, need prenups more. Hence the rise in prenups.

I expect these men to pay a high cost/price in the future. Since prenups don't work well regularly.
