At my work, there is a group of about forty software and systems engineers. They are “led” by three women. Way over their head in social and technical competence. However, they do a great job of approving time sheets, already defined expenses, and otherwise staying the fuck out of the way.

Corporate commentators, not actual leaders or grunts mind you, are also slowly reframing leadership around typically feminine concepts / traits like emotional intelligence and "bringing your whole self to work".

There are also quotas (in many different names) being introduced.

Bringing your whole self to work? Ok I guess I can see most bitches needing to be reminded to do that.

[–]dza76wutang10 points11 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

It is a terrible trend. It basically means bringing all your non-work baggage in with you. It's eroding professionalism.

[–]systemshock8694 points5 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

One of a million examples of Marxism playing out beautifully in the West.

[–]dza76wutang1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

It's nauseating. This unproductive attempt to blur boundaries just wastes resources.

[–]pookie5130 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

God that sounds fuckin miserable. I work in a production environment with men that already do this. Promoting that shit....?

[–]dza76wutang3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I suspect the root is a desire from corporations to make staying at work longer more pleasant by letting more nonwork come into work.

Not a conscious or explicit decision / strategy as much as a naturally emerging solution to the 40 hour per week "limit".

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Yep. Women are re-making the corporate world in their own image. That's why it has become so intolerable to normal guys.

[–]LiftingShithead11 points12 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

So they get paid without doing anything?

[–]KnowBrainer4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

What, you think your dick circumcised itself? Men are the slaves, not women.

[–]2Dmva10038 points39 points  (21 children) | Copy Link

If women want to be the 'leading ladies' in the workplace, let them have their fun at 'women only' businesses. The reason these businesses should be encouraged is because they will ultimately fail under female supervision and further showcase to Big Business and the rest of working America that women suck at leading.

[–][deleted] 23 points24 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

This is genuinely my hope, that the metoo movement pushes too far and we start seeing greater segregation in the workplace and maybe, just maybe, women will see how extremely outclassed they are in both leadership roles and at certain types of jobs.

As it stands, unless we have some type of social reform where we learn some personal fucking responsibility and women start valuing motherhood more, our society will die.

[–]2 Senior Endorsed Contributorvengefully_yours13 points14 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Fucking eh. Let's see more female heavy truck technicians, they need to have a business that is all female fixing heavy equipment. They could do some logistics businesses too, heavy air cargo, planning and in transit visibility would be great with females running the show.

I know exactly how both of these scenarios work out...

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Lol, if all business was run by women the country would be shut down within a week.

If war was handled by women we'd all be dead or enslaved.

If innovation was solely in the hands of women we'd be communists living in mud huts in Africa, gathering nuts and berries with an average lifespan of 35 years.

Women are so delusional about their abilities. They're so much more risk adverse than men. They're also way less assertive and way worse at making decisions.

The greatest proof that women have the mentality of a child is how often they claim to be independent but have virtually zero understanding of what that means and how truly dependant nearly every single woman is for her entire life.

heavy air cargo

The best body on any chick I ever fucked? She was one of these. Lots of regular heavy lifting, good girl.

Nice thought, but, it will NEVER happen. They already have great careers that they can get by whining about harassment or the Patriarchy. Why should they start to produce anything?

I can't think of anything more meaningless than a statistical analysis by an untrained journalist.

[–]sumshake 0 points0 points [recovered] | Copy Link

Yeah, brietbart is a far better resource

[–]Arty777 1 points1 points [recovered] | Copy Link

I said journalists you dimwit. Nice straw man though.

CORRELATION DOES NOT IMPLY CAUSATION. Just because more successful companies have more female employees does not mean that more female employees causes a company to be more successful.

[–]sumshake 1 points1 points [recovered] | Copy Link

Lol... it’s ok champ. Don’t get upset

[–]Arty777 1 points1 points [recovered] | Copy Link

It's just so difficult when you are dealing with a moron.

[–]sumshake 1 points1 points [recovered] | Copy Link

And yet you offer nothing to the contrary. Typical...

[–]Darth_Toenail29 points30 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Doublethink. Orwell saw it all.

He disliked nearly all women, and especially the young and pretty ones. It was always the women, and above all the young ones, who were the most bigoted adherents of the Party, the swallowers of slogans, the amateur spies and nosers-out of unorthodoxy.

Womanhood is a natural phenomenon. A female’s biological make-up usually ensures that she will grow into a healthy woman. Leave her to herself, and it’s likely to happen. It’s why the phrases “woman up,” “be a woman,” or “make a woman out of her” don’t exist.

It moves her inexorably in that direction with a force as great as it is mysterious.

she is becoming a different person. Her family and community treat her differently because of it. A father shudders at it, as it forever changes the way he interacts with “his little girl.” He must bow to and honor it.

The unique feminine power over male sexuality is curiously demonstrated

What kind of solutions do you expect from a man that reveres women as semi-mystical creatures with almost magic powers?

I said this before: if you don't understand female nature, the agency, on both individual and society wide level, you cannot offer viable solutions simply b/c you will be solving the wrong problem with the wrong tools. Thus his proposed solution basically amounts to "lets do what we've been doing thus far - let women and general society (women and domesticated betas) shape how men should be".

[–]PaulAJK5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Talk about putting pussy on the pedestal.

I think it was just an anodyne way of saying that women don't face a sexual pressure to develop or grow themselves.

They can have intrinsic sexual value just by reaching maturity. It's not really that complimentary.

But yeah this guy actually sucks at relationships. The line, "I can get physical access to her more often" is a joke

I think it was just an anodyne way of saying that women don't face a sexual pressure to develop or grow themselves.

I'm pretty sure that is part of his message. The other part is in what words he uses to describe women - the "mysterious power men have to honour" - which, judging by the rest of his writing is not b/c of poetic value, but b/c he worships women.

Classic case of ’be careful what you wish for’.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
