Dogs are a reflection of the owner.

I grew up watching Cesar Milan, the dog whisperer. He knows what dogs are saying by their actions. Dog not listening to your commands? Dog is dominant. Dog barks at strangers? Dog is insecure. Dog pulls on the leash while out on a walk? Dog is walking the owner.

Having a well behaved dog boils down to having a rock solid frame. The dog craves to enter into your reality, where it can trust and lean on you for support. A dog wants to know what boundaries it has. What it can and can't do. This makes the dog feel safe and secure knowing that it has someone in control. A dog doesn't want to be in control. Dogs are unhappy and anxious when they lead the relationship.

Dog not listening to your commands? You're not being dominate. Dog barks at strangers? You're insecure. Dog pulling the leash? You're not taking the lead.

A dog sees holes in your frame and tries to fill those holes itself. A dog pokes and prods to find these holes. When a hole is found, an unhappy and anxious dog is soon to follow as it tries to fill the holes itself.

I've seen many-a-men with dogs. Most of the time the dog is a little shit. Why? Because the owner doesn't take control, doesn't have solid frame, and is a beta chump. On the other hand, those men I have seen who have the best dogs tend to be alpha men who don't let people walk all over them, especially not some dog. The alpha man takes control, sets the boundaries, and is secure in himself. The alpha man leads other's like he leads his dog.

Dogs need to be trained. This means it takes time and effort to have a good dog. Having a good dog is not something that happens overnight. You reward a dog for it's good behaviors with treats and attention. You first draw out the behavior you want then reward it. Trying to teach your dog to sit? Wait for your dog to sit naturally (or say sit and push his ass down) and then say “sit” and reward the behavior. It takes time and energy but once Spot sits when you say sit, it becomes worth the time and effort you put in.

It is going to be easier to train a new dog. If you wait too long, the dog will be harder to train, it will become set in it’s ways (I'm sure you've heard the phrase, can't teach an old dog new tricks). However, the earlier the training starts the better. That’s why it’s important to have solid frame from day one. You have to keep the frame, from the first day, otherwise the dog will sense this and will begin to fill the holes left behind from your lack of frame.

An alpha man doesn't argue with his dog. I'll see beta men talk to their dogs like it understands them. "Spot, don't pee on the carpet, you know better." News Flash. IT'S A FUCKING DOG. Dogs do not understand the language of man. Instead, an alpha man SHOWS his dog. An alpha teaches his dog through actions rather than words. Spot pisses on the carpet? Rub his fucking nose in it so he knows not to do it again.

This brings up the question on how to punish your dog? One shouldn’t punish his dog out of hate and anger. It should come out of love for the dog. Let’s go back to the example of teaching Spot to sit. Sometimes after you give the “sit command” Spot will sit, no problem. Other times Spot will be a little shit and will lay down and show his tummy, craving affection. At this point, the beta man will then rub the dogs tummy saying how cute Spot is for showing his tummy. This is counter-productive. By rewarding the dog for bad behavior, it only increases the likelihood the dog will continue to perform that bad behavior.

However, the alpha man does something very different. Instead of encouraging the behavior with treats and affection, if Spot doesn’t sit the alpha will then take his affection away from the dog. He scoots Spot out of the way and goes on with his day. An alpha does not have the time nor energy to continue giving attention to something that doesn’t listen to him (an alpha is busy actually making something of himself). An alpha does not give treats and affection to a dog that doesn’t listen.

I remember one scene in particular where a small dog was possessive over it's food. Cesar instructed the owner to step in front of the food and take ownership of it. "But Cesar," the owner whined, "little spot is going to attack me." "That doesn't matter," Cesar said. "If you have to use a tool to feel comfortable then so be it." Cesar then laid food out for the dog and used a broom to guard the food from the little dog. The little dog was vicious in it's attack of the broom, an extension of the trainer, but when all was said and done, the dog knew it's place. Little Spot knew who was in control and respected that. The boundaries set forth by the owner made Spot happier in the long run.

This is the Red Pill. The broom in your hand. A tool to help navigate the world of sub-communication. You won't go from Beta Billy to Alpha Chad overnight. It takes time and energy but I guarantee the rewards are worth it.

It's called DOGPILL and you've been DOGPILLED

[–][deleted] 356 points357 points  (39 children)

I agree with a lot of this but this part is absolutely incorrect:

Spot pisses on the carpet? Rub his fucking nose in it so he won’t do it again.

Just like a dog doesn’t understand human language, they wouldn’t understand this either. They smell urine and poop for fun dude.

On a higher level, what you’ve got wrong here is this:

Negative reinforcement is a massively less effective training technique than positive reinforcement. Especially for dogs. Pavlov proved this empirically in his experiments.

If Spot pees on the carpet, you don’t “rub his fucking nose in it.” That’s just mean, and the dog doesn’t understand it anyway. If Spot pees on the carpet, you no longer allow him on the carpet, and reward him every time he pees outside. Sooner or later you’ll have a well trained dog that doesn’t pee on the carpet and can be allowed back on the carpet, and here’s the best part: you won’t have to abuse animals by rubbing their noses in their own urine. Now THAT’S what I call Alpha.

Even in the Cesar Milan example you provide, note that Cesar does not punish the dog. That’s because dogs quite literally have a hard time understanding punishment. It’s much easier for them to understand reward, which is why positive reinforcement is so much more effective as a dog-training technique (OR PERSON-TRAINING TECHNIQUE if we’re really committed to this uncharitable comparison lol) than negative reinforcement, which creates confusion in the dog (or man/woman that you’re trying to teach), and often doesn’t work at all.

In general though, I enjoyed your post and I find it to be well-written and insightful.

^ positive reinforcement , and also, true.

[–]Jonnywhoop 111 points112 points  (1 child)

Me: how do you like smelling that piss??

Dog: this is fantastic!

[–]toiletpapermoney 62 points63 points  (0 children)

Yep. The right thing to do if you catch them is make a very sharp noise to stop them from doing it, then take them outside to pee and be very happy that they peed outside. Dogs are stupid.

If you don't catch them doing it, then you have to keep them around you to make sure you can catch them doing it.

Source: have good dogs.

[–]Tutsks 27 points28 points  (15 children)

This is a great comment. Most women react more positively to treats than to have their face rubbed in their piss.

Unless they enjoy it, in which case it is still not that great a correction method.

[–][deleted] 10 points11 points  (7 children)

You should only rub their face in piss AS A TREAT. Not as a punishment but as a reward

[–]Tutsks 6 points7 points  (6 children)

[–]Tutsks 5 points6 points  (2 children)

Don't get me wrong. I was plugged in at one point. I don't regret unplugging. With it, learning game, and so on, life truly changed. I got things I never thought I would when I was an AFC.

And yet.

I can understand why Cypher wanted to go back to thinking the slop was steak. A part of me, the part of me that hopes and wishes and believes in the future, still thinks that there is steak out there somewhere. I just haven't found it yet.

The alternative is just soul shattering.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Dudes without souls get the most pussy of all.

[–]DeChef2 8 points9 points  (5 children)

We are obviously talking about dogs and not women.

There are zero similarities between the two.

[–]Tutsks 3 points4 points  (4 children)

"Sometimes you get replies like this, and sometimes you wonder just what the fuck the person is on.

That reply is a joke, an obvious meme, a reference to women that are into bdsm, and to how some things don't apply 1 to 1, and a whole other bunch of things.

I kinda, totally, completely, not get how the fuck some ackchually sperg would jump in to state what seems like completely obvious stuff.

Do you like, lack any sort of abstract thinking? Just what is your mental disability bro?

I don't mean that in a negative way, I'm genuinely curious. I see shit like this now and then and I genuinely wonder, just what the world is like when seen from your eyes?"

[–]DeChef2 14 points15 points  (2 children)

Huh. I guess the italics didn’t work.

[–]unnaturalcontrol[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I would legitimately say autism. I believe autists have a hard time with abstract thinking and a hard time grasping metaphors.

[–]RightHandWolf 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Most of us would rather be pissed off than pissed on, but there a few weirdos like that. Is that what the Beach Boys meant when it came to wishing they all could be California girls?

[–]unnaturalcontrol[S] 71 points72 points  (0 children)

Thank you for the well thought out reply. I agree with what you said.

[–]Senior ContributorMentORPHEUS 19 points20 points  (1 child)

If Spot pees on the carpet, you don’t “rub his fucking nose in it.”

That sounded a loud game show buzzer for me too. Second hand Cesar Milan is a start, but you'll get deeper insight by learning directly about operant conditioning

[–]Warren_Bateman 6 points7 points  (0 children)

All about negative punishment and positive reward.

It’s the way to any pups heart, and the key to a stable LTR.

[–]DeChef2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The best negative reinforcement for dogs is withdrawing your attention/affection.

[–]rad_dynamic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Exactly. Dogs looking for attention will soon realise that they get the most attention when they pee on the carpet.

[–]whatever11111111 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'm a dog trainer and these were more or less the comments I was going to make, you have a solid understanding.

[–]___heisenberg 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It all depends.

Generally speaking positive> negative reinforcement, but they all have a time & a place.

Barring a near-perfect situation, you can’t properly train anything using only positive (or negative) reinforcement. Time and a place.

I like to mostly use positive reinforcement, but if they aren’t aware of the consequences then what’s to stop them?

Using a job as an example: using only positive reinforcement incentivizes good behavior and most of the time it will work.

Using only the negative, and you’ll have a bunch of sorry ass employees counting the minutes to leave.

Discern the sitation and react accordingly. I find most things to be like this: not so black&white but all those shades of gray in between (all 50)

Also, the only time I see it fit to punish a dog is when it’s out of hand. Attacking ppl, acting out of line, maybe shitting on your bed or somn. Yup

[–]Satou4 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Thanks for this. It was curious

[–]Heinz356 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Negative reinforcement is a

massively less effective

training technique than positive reinforcement

Dale Carnegie's "How to Win Friends and Influence People" makes this a key-point in his book. I really recommend giving that a read, it was quite good.

[–]SweetRabbit 1 point2 points  (3 children)

I read in some study that positive reinforcement for kids is great. But negative reinforcement for adults is better than positive.

https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/family-affair/200809/rewards-are-better-punishment-here-s-why

Edit: Grammar and to add the links.

[–]unnaturalcontrol[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Can you find a link to that perhaps?

[–]Heinz356 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Do you mind sharing that study? I'm curious.

[–]DarkSyde3000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Exactly. If they're pissing on the carpet it's because they don't know it's wrong yet. Rubbing their face in it accomplishes nothing because they don't understand why you're doing it. It also fucks with the bond you have with the animal, if we're being technical. ;)

[–]throwlaca -1 points0 points  (1 child)

you won’t have to abuse animals by rubbing their noses in their own urine.

Oh come on. We have dog justice warriors now? The dog understand perfectly when you rub his nose in shit. Also screaming at it or kicking it (not too strong, obviously) will cause the same effect. Dog don't understand words.

[–]FinallyRed 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Have you ever had a dog? That works like ass in getting the dog to do what you want.

[–]The-Snuffleupagus 31 points32 points  (1 child)

For the record, don’t rub your dog’s nose in a puddle of urine or shit. A loud and stern “NO!” will get the point across. Dogs want to please the master and if you let them know they fucked up they’ll avoid that behavior.

[–]SOwED 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also works well in Dom/sub

I remember seeing somewhere a dog training book recommended as reading for red pill education. Training dogs is a good exercise in frame development. There are a lot of great nuggets of information in the dog training world about communication on a basic, non-verbal, lizard brain level.

Example:

Dog barking in the middle of the night. Owner walks out and tells the dog to shut up. Owner returns to bed. Dog continues to bark.

To a dog, even negative attention from it's master is better than no attention. By acknowledging the dog, you are rewarding the behavior. (I read this in a book on training labs. Can't remember what book.)

This translates to shit tests or comfort tests in human females. Imagine a girl saying she wants to break up as many of them do early on as a shit test to see what you will do. Caving in to any demand she wants is failing this test just as the owner of the dog above failed the dog's test. While it is attention the dog is looking for, it is validation the woman is looking for. Passing this woman's test would be denying her the satisfaction of validation just like denying the dog attention. Both instances require behavior that is directly in opposition to what conventional wisdom would tell you. That is why the red pill is so important and finding these parallels to red pill ideology is fascinating.

[–]unnaturalcontrol[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I remember this too now that I think about it. It's worth trying to find that book again and reread it.

[–][deleted] 38 points39 points  (3 children)

Idk, dogs are different. I know people who have extremely dominant dogs but also submissive dogs. Doesn’t always mean something about the owner

Related to this: if you have a son, get him a dog, hell, get a dog yourself. Owning and training a dog, preferably from a puppy, will help you learn how to keep frame. It will help you learn to be patient, it will help you learn to teach, instruct and correct with patience and without violence --- or it should, if it doesn't, you're a piece of shit and need a lot of work.

The gym teaches you to fail and get back up, to have a goal and pursue it even with small failures, to not be too hard on yourself if you're putting in the effort, that you need to rest, eat and take care of yourself to see progress. It teaches you some self-management.

A dog is good practice at managing others. Understanding they will fail. Knowing what rewards they like (to reward often in the beginning and then less and randomly). To correct their failures kindly, etc.

Once you can manage a dog, then women, then boys/men (I wish I could suggest volunteering to help with Boy Scouts)...maybe manage someone's workouts, maybe you're already a manager.

[–]brabg 27 points28 points  (1 child)

I don't remember where I read this, but I once read something like this:

If you feel like you have an insurmountable fault, learn from a crippled dog, like a dog with 3 legs.

He does not think "oh, I'm so useless, and broken, I can't do anything". The dog just keeps being a dog, and walks on 3 legs. He doesn't even thinks that he has 3 legs. He just is focused in what he wants, and goes to get it.

So, if you think that you are ugly, poor, live in your mother basement, or anything, don't use it as an excuse. Say "I have this flaw, and I'm seducing you". No excuses, no worries, no explanations.

[–]PickleWickleton 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Damn that hit me good in the dick. Thank you.

[–]1trueliberal1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Dogs do not understand the language of man. Instead, an alpha man SHOWS his dog. An alpha teaches his dog through actions rather than words.

Dogs show dominance over other dogs by mounting them. Is your frame strong enough?

PSA Yorkies are not dogs they are accessories/ 4 legged hairy toddlers with attitudes

[–]785_Exuberant_Bias 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. Small rat-like dogs such as chihuahuas and yorkies are known as "yappers" where I'm from. The general consensus is that they are not real dogs, but rather a dog-like animal that has degenerated from a higher state of dogdom through inbreeding and is now a mere mockery of an actual dog. A miniaturized caricature that is rather useless compared to the real thing.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very true, but not always. Sometimes dogs are that aggressive, that even if the owner is an "alpha", the owner will

[–]comu_nacho 2 points3 points  (5 children)

Daaamn. I started walking my dogs when I discovered trp, because I needed the exercise to lose weight. Their behavior has changed a lot these past 7 months. Now they respect the shit out of me. They can walk beside me without a leash, bring back sticks, come back when called, and they were never trained. They stopped entering the house when I'm out. It's my space, they know.

Never put the two things together.

[–]unnaturalcontrol[S] 2 points3 points  (4 children)

From Cesar, it’s a lot harder to train a dog that’s full of energy. That’s why you take them out and exercise them. It’s a lot easier to lead their mind when their body is exhausted. I guess that’s another lesson that connects to trp. Women prefer a man of action.

[–]SteroidsFreak 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Well said. Unfortunately many users on here either baby their dog, don't have an energetic dog and don't carry those masculine quality traits. It's not about beating or abusing your dog. It's about them knowing from right and wrong, respecting each other, dog knowing how to behave. Most of these users will most likely never understand what you're talking about because these are the same people that would euthanize an aggressive dog/drop it off at the shelter because it's not behaving the way they want it to. Why? Once again because of that lack of authority

[–]unnaturalcontrol[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Someone else mentioned aggressive dogs as well. I think those dogs just need more training. There’s plenty of breeds that get a bad rep for being aggressive. They may have a GENETIC TENDENCY to be aggressive but with proper training can turn out to be wonderful dogs

[–]SteroidsFreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well said. Unfortunately I can tell many people lack that.

[–]comu_nacho 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Makes sense. Surviving in the Kenyan savanna needed people that lead and took action to solve their problems. Women evolved to like that in their mates.

I got mad so I carried it home the rest of the way.

[–]Greaterbird 9 points10 points  (0 children)

For a pulling dog, you need to do just a few things to retrain him.

  1. Set aside a day when you'll have a ton of free time, alone, on a distraction free route. Your normal walking route is going to take 2-3 time as long as usual.

  2. Anytime he pulls, become an anchor/rock. Make it so the only option for moving forward is to walk without pulling.

  3. Carry treats. Treats are used in two places - for the moment when he stops pulling, and while he's been walking by you without pulling for a reasonable amount of time.

  4. Repetition. You'll need to do this on multiple days and in multiple places so he generalizes, gradually working up to areas with greater amounts of distraction.

Even though you tried to train the animal, it is a lot harder to "retrain" an animal after years of the animal being in control. Definitely not your fault but the owner's fault. The other day I was at a friend's house and they had a dog (an ugly pug mix looking thing). The dog knew sit but did not know wait. So I trained him to wait. I would say "stay" and slowly lower the food. If the dog moved, I would bring the food back up to chest level and start again. Despite the OWNER of the dog saying "she won't wait. I've come to accept that", after about an hour, I was able to get the dog to wait for me to sit the food down. Point is, it's not easy, it takes time, and it probably doesn't really matter anyway considering the owner won't keep up with it.

[–]youcancallmedada 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Dude! I’m pretty sure the dog was a chihuahua/pug mix as well. Crazy. And good point, I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s totally untrained as owners often neglect small dogs cuz they’re cute (read:ugly and pitiful).

[–]Greaterbird 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Classic sign of an owner that has no idea how to effectively train a dog, and let the dog train them instead. I don't think I'd really call it "hard" once you know what you're doing, unless it's a dog with low motivation for both food and affection/attention.

I'm not really familiar with dog training as I am a staunch cat person, but what exactly are the reasons why Cesar Milan is not respected in the dog training field? His methods, while seemingly bizarre, seem to work at least on surface level.

[–]SteroidsFreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As posted on a previous post to someone else, anyone can be a certified dog/puppy trainer, but it takes someone with skills and authority to correct bad behavior no matter what age or breed of dog you have. Current GF called 5 different certified "dog trainers," all of them didn't want to take the dog in. Why? Cause they know they lack those skills to correct bad behavior. First thing they asked was "is the dog aggressive," she and I would say YES because it's scared, nervous and insecure. Each and everyone of these "dog trainers," declined to take the dog in. Once again because they lacked those alpha traits skills. We even took the dog to Petco for 3 months. None of the training worked. We finally took it to a guy who specializes on German Shepheds and other type of breed and spoke to the dog with authority using his words and a leash. Dog listened to every command. The rest is history.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Solid post but some dogs do understand the language quite well.

[–]Project_Zero_Betas 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It's not so much the language (i.e. specific words) but the vocal tone and body language associated with the context in which the words are used.

[–]Math_3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh man and here I was thinking you were going to chew out Pomeranian owners.

[–]NeuroMnemonic7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Think you're alpha, look at that chimp at the zoo.

[–]shaneshades 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Now that I'm single. I realize how beta I was in the beginning with my engagement. After a while of growing up a bit more, I slowly started turning into an alpha and she didnt like that. She liked being able to control me and I started to not allow her. Eventually she would withhold sex. Agter some time I would watch a porno here and there. I dont like it because I dont want to see other women that way because I'm loyal, but if she wont treat me with the same level of respect, why should I? Agter another year of this charade, we ended up breaking our engagement. Shes moved on to other people while I'm still recovering from how mentally fucked I allowed her to make me. I havent slept with anyone because I still have a connection to her. One day I think I'll get it though. In the mean time I can only be hard on myself and push myself for a better, stronger me. Redpill is harsh, but so are women and this world. This was a good read.

[–]andreas-mgtow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dogs need to be trained.

Damn right! My dog has been through Basic and RP training. He spins bitches all the time, when that German Shepard bitch barks at him, he holds frame and displays amused mastery. He has abundance mentality coming out of his ass and leads his HB9 pure bread Unicorn poodle through straight dread. She knows he has options.

He chases pussy like hell, and is not afraid to eat one or two. (I help him bury the bodies, that's what bros do!).

Still a little weak when it comes to bench pressing, but We are working through it.

LIFT, LIFT, you fucking mutt!!!!!!!

[–]bouncypoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have no dog..does that make me an incel

[–]Strike48 4 points5 points  (0 children)

lmao the shit some of you dudes post these days. This sub can't possibly be THAT starved for content. My dog has never been an issue or a perk in my game. You guys are picking grains at this point.

You should train you fucking dog so that you don't have a shit head dog. Not because you want to OUT ALPHA IT BRO. Come on man..

[–]pipeDRE4MS 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Nah, if you want loyalty, get a dog. This dispels everything u said

[–]Assparigus 4 points5 points  (2 children)

The post is about behavior and dominance, your comment makes no sense. Just because a dog is loyal doesn't mean it wont behave like an idiot

[–]pipeDRE4MS 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Case in point u don’t have to treat ur dog how u treat ur women that’s all I’m saying

[–]Assparigus 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Gotcha, hard to pull that from the original comment though

[–]Andgelyo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Replace dog with bitch, now we are talking lol

[–]XT3M3 1 point2 points  (1 child)

wtf did i just read. i get what you are trying to say, but it's a dog owner myself, this isnt it. im amazed this got near 500 upvotes.

[–]SteroidsFreak 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is exactly it. I understood exactly what OP was talkin about. GF bought German Shepherd puppy, treated the pup like a baby, spoke to it like a baby, I kept insisting to her that the dog needs to know from right and wrong. She didn't listen. Dog is almost an adult now and it does whatever it wants to do. Pulls, tugs on the leash, barks and misbehaves all because she didn't show the dog who was in charge. Now the dog has to wear a prong Everytime we go out, why, because it won't listen. She decided to take it to a trainer, dropped $1k on it for a week of training. Trainer asked permission to do what it needs to do on the dog, she complies. First thing the trainer does is yeets the dog using the leash to the air. Dog shits itself, calms down and isn't scared anymore. Trainer starts talking to the dog with authority and it starts listening.

After we leave for a week and come back for the dog, dog has 100% his attention towards the trainer waiting to see what the next command is. Dog is excited to see us but wants to stay with the trainer. Dog knows exactly who is in charge and tells my gf the exact same thing I told her. Also tells her that all that Petco training which gf spent money on as well and didn't work was a waste. Moral of the story? Speak with authority, have boundaries between you and your girl, don't put your girl on a pedestal and reward yourself and your girl by going out on special occasions.

[–]kfd_capital 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Double if you're a pitbull owner

[–]Zech4riah 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I see many "dominate" shit out from their dog only to notice them to turn into pussies in front of hot women. What's your point?

If it's that you should treat women like dogs - I can agree with you to some extent.

[–]SilverGryphon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bullshit, I have a female dog who shuts up from her night barking when I call her name in an assertive tone. Try that in real life with noisy female co-workers and you are fired.

[–]MagnetoWned 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disagree, I want my dog to live the best and happiest life possible while she’s here with me. I couldn’t care less about making myself look alpha and being a dominant owner. It’s a lot harder for me to get mad at my dog then it is for me to confront someone

[–]dadfrombrad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Shit my dawg barks at everything that moves

[–]The_Chiselnator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think dogs can look at a man and in one instant know exactly what he is. But dogs are animals. And animals are not people. People are millions of times complicated. People lie. People pretend. People change. People put up impressions. There is precious little a dog can teach you about Mary Sue down the street.

Let's go slow on the anthropomorphism.

P

[–]aWorldBornDead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Today, my dog caught a baby squirrel in her jaws and I told her to drop it. She did.

So if I command the women to drop their pants it should work.

[–]mistral88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This shit is misleading because it makes weak men believe they can change their frame consciously which is wrong

Frame comes from how you feel inside, if you feel insecure then acting dominant will only make you look ridixoulous

To fix that, you have to make things that make you feel pride, no shortcut on that if you care about not fucking up your reputation

Happened to me. 8 yrs redpill and acting though when i was feeling weak only made people go away

[–]pyth0ns 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you said it yourself... " IT'S A FUCKING DOG."
Your whole article kinda contradicts itself.

[–]ahg1008 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]jasondougies 0 points1 point  (0 children)

is there an equivalent to cats?

[–]BluffButt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not too long after reading the first paragraph I knew the gold in this post would lie in the comments.

I was shit tested today by my dog, I failed :(

[–]peacemakerzzz 1 point2 points  (3 children)

It’s not always the case. Life of Pi taught us that animals can be tamed even in the wildest of kind. Ok that might have been a little spiritual, but my point here is that you, yourself, are more of a reflection to yourself than you are to your dog/pet/animal.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

No dude the entire point of Life of Pi was that some animals CAN’T be tamed. Richard Parker runs away at the end despite Pi’s best efforts. A tame animal would not do that.

[–]unnaturalcontrol[S] 5 points6 points  (1 child)

It’s not always the case. Life of Pi taught us that animals can be tamed even in the wildest of kind.

That's not true. Animals run their lives off of their hind brain. There are countless mentions of animals (particularly exotic animals) that attack their owners.

you, yourself, are more of a reflection to yourself than you are to your dog/pet/animal.

Agreed but I think that an animal can reflect your frame.

[–]peacemakerzzz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

An animal can reflect your frame but if it projects more aggression towards you, such as the one in Life of Pi, the animal is similar to that of a human being (woman for example) to tame and know its behavior before it devours you unconsciously. What I relate to based off the movie is that simple survival instincts determine how your opponent (Pi) would react to. Case in point, if you’re a pussy, you’d get taken advantage of. If you know how to survive, as a human (or as a male since this is TRP), chances are you’d be the leader of the pack.

Dogs aren’t that different. If you know how to lead, it would follow. If it projects more aggression, then do something. The important thing is to Do until it follows.

Not arguing here my dude. Just sharing some insights. Women aren’t that much different to figure out as compared to animals. Heck, sales tactics are even much more tactical to relate to women than it is to animals. I think simple psychology breaks that feminine mystique. Cheers.

this is why i like cats; little shit just sits on her kitty tower and sleeps.

[–]LeatherBoundWisdom -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Great post, this puts everything in a new, and very useful, perspective.

[–]unnaturalcontrol[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you.

I've been trying to post this since I've been here. Unfortunately though I didn't have enough karma or whatever the stupid internet points are called.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What if we don’t have a dog?

[–]spaceraverdk 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Cesar is a fraud at best..

And I am the alpha of the pack.

Dogs misbehaving is a lack of training, discipline is instilled the way their blood kin does it. Growl, lift it by the scruff of the neck.

Never hit any animal, all you get is fear, and fear is not a motivator.

[–]Camjd10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I appreciate the metaphor but please don't abuse your pets or any animal, physically or mentally.

[–]bemore_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I knew of the parallels a long time ago but couldn't see the similarities. Dog training is an interesting metaphor because it can easily be offensive but I think the message is less to do with the dog and women and more with men and leadership. Let's look at woman and their interactions and relationships with dogs. They are nurturing and affectionate towards the dog, they never try to lead it. Which gives a small glimpse into the character of women. Guys might think that giving a dog affection and treats is the best thing for it but in fact the best thing a guy can do for a dog is lead it well. The dog is wired to follow a leader and it will feel best in this role, it will contribute the most in the role in other words. The same can be said for women, they are wired to be attracted to the leader and contribute best in the role

[–]latinasonly -1 points0 points  (0 children)

you aren't comparing women to dogs are you?

[–]danielnogo -1 points0 points  (2 children)

My dog listens to my commands at home, but unfortunately outside he is so focused on every smell and so excited to be out, he pulls on the leash, but he does listen when I tell him where to go. I think this is little rediculous of a post tbh, no matter how dominant you are, dogs dont always listen.

[–]SteroidsFreak 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Which is why this post was made, you're not in charge, the dog is. Dog has to have that respect with you as you do with it. Dog needs to know that without you, it will starve and die. Dog needs to know from right and wrong. Which is why dogs need to go through training at a young age. Dog clearly knows you're not in charge and does what it wants to do. Same with a girl, if she doesn't see you with alpha traits she will sleep with someone who does.

[–]independentTeamwork -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Dude rubbing the dogs nose in pee don't work. Its just abuse with no results. Dogs only connect punishment with actions done right there and then. You have to catch him in the action

Lot of people say" oh he looks so guilty he knows he's done wrong" No! He only know that you are angry and show submissive behavior to avoid fight.

Best way to punish dog is, WHEN HE IS DOING SOMETHING, 1: say NO! If it don't work- 2: take a firm grip around his head and stare into eyes while you speak slowly with a deep tone. So this til you notice a posture change in the dog. He kinda sinks down. 3 still no? Force him to lay on his back, and posture over him

[–]11-Eleven-11 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Maybe you just don't know how to train dogs?

I guess it could be a good analogy though but its just not there.

[–]darkstar1031 -4 points-3 points  (5 children)

I gotta tell you, I just can't agree, because all the dogs I've ever known have just been too goofy and dumb to train. You try getting a Boxer/Labrador mix to do anything but play with everything around them. It probably can be done if you are enough of an asshole, but that's just not what I look for in a dog.

[–]SteroidsFreak 2 points3 points  (4 children)

You're clearly not set to be a dog trainer then. Anyone can be a certified dog/puppy trainer, but it take someone with authority to correct bad behavior with every breed of dog out there, no matter what age it is.

[–]darkstar1031 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Or maybe I just like my dog to be a spastic idiot, just like I wouldn't have any interest in a woman who behaves like a willing slave. They have robots for that shit. This whole thing has a dystopic fascist feel to it. As a freedom loving patriotic American, I find your comparison to having a woman and "training" an overly obedient dog to be terrifying. How can you so freely and openly be so dismissive of free will?

[–]SteroidsFreak 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Idk how u even made this about slaves, then u went to robots and about being patriotic. No one here talked about being obedient either. It's all about having respect towards one another = not putting women on a pedestal, they're as equal as you. Being a leader so the dog follows = women love having that security, they want a leader not a follower. Rewardig your dog with positive reinforcement = taking you and your woman out on special occasions. Not every Friday night, not everytime she wants too but on date nights.

[–]darkstar1031 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Or, maybe don't be a total douche-nozzle and stop trying to treat your woman like a dog, and maybe treat her like a fellow human being. I just don't get shitbags like you. I have plenty of luck with women because I don't treat them like shit that needs to be scrapped off the bottom of my boots.

[–]SteroidsFreak 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No where in my post did I mention about disrespecting a woman. Sounds to me you're being way too emotional and need to see it from a logical perspective. You can't rationalize if your emotional. Given how you decided to verbally insult me lets me know how insecure you really are.
