Its not about nice guys or bad boys. It’s about attractive vs unattractive. Usually attractive people tend to get away with more, and are given leeway on many issues. This leads to them being more arrogant/ brash in their attitude relative to others, giving them them the ‘bad boy’ halo. Bad behaviour by unattractive people is not tolerated as well by people, hence they tend to behave better. It is just that people conflate these two phenomenon that leads to the notion that nice guys finish last. In reality it is ugly/unattractive guys finish last.

I agree. Being attractive vs. being unattractive determines how people perceive how you treat them. If you're attractive and also are nice, being nice will have no negative effect on how women view you.

And some idiots will cite these well behaved good looking people as examples of how being nice is sexy tee hee.

it's the looks that give them results, not the attitude...
people like to believe it's the behavior because they can change it...

Exactly what i said in my comment. It is not the attitude but looks that matter.
