I think its supposed to be a bluepill example? Still weird as fuck.

That's what I thought as well, but the format. ...

Usually a lurker, but I feel the need of commenting on this.

How can people not understand "what they just read"? This is not only an example of blue pill, it is the form of the female mind personified in many ways. She doesn't know what she wants. All she knows is that she's looking for something more. She needs to be led.

During this whole thing, the majority of the conversations have the same subtext: indifference. "I don't know", "whatever", "it's up to you". And that is coming from a man. A man not understanding what she thinks or feels, because she doesn't fucking grasp the concept of communication . But instead of leading her, of being in charge, making executive decisions, or just doing whatever the fuck he wants, he lets that same confused woman to choose. And what does that lead to? She gets even more confused, and intertwined in her own conundrum of feelings. Because of a goddamn hunch "the breeze"

All she wants is to be blown away, to be fucked like an animal in the bushes, to experience something new. For him to be that man at the table, to entertain her, or at least not bore her to death. But he lets her take the lead instead.

For us red pillers what this says is: be fun, unexpected, keep her guessing. NEVER let her make the decisions, and NEVER be indifferent. Because if she fucks up, or it isn't good enough for her, she won't communicate it anyways and she'll blame you. Instead do what ever tickles your pickle, for if she isn't happy with that at least you'll be, and she should be catching on to your zeal. Be the man that you deserve to be.

Make it your goddamn mantra: NEVER BE JAY

I, too, am a mere lurker, if that. I stumbled upon this short story and it reminded me of TRP so I thought, 'Why not share?' I thought that its commonalities would be obvious, and I'm not even a TRPer. . . . Thank you for commenting and sparing me further disheartenment. :P

And of course it was chiefly the unorthodox structure which, as it seems, bemused everyone; actually, it was rather redolent of a cubist painting: I found it appealing, for I have a special undying fondness for cubism.

That said, that was not the dominant effect for me. Instead, the dominant impression was of a patchwork of potential alternative activities which encumbered her mind such that she could not enjoy the present moment; altogether it conveyed a feeling of aimless, youthful restlessness — of being blown about by envy (this emphasized by Jay's own wistful glances at the man at the table). By contrast, Jay seemed to be capable of drawing contentment from just about any possible course of action; seen in that light, why not be Jay?

Edit: Also, I disagree with your association of this restlessness, of insatiability, with femininity. Traditionally that is a masculine vice, with women being the more adaptable, contented sex. I think a more relevant factor is her youth (I wonder if your perspective is not skewed by disproportionate exposure to younger women?).

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
