this is what i had in mind when for books, somehow get people to read the books instantly with a link so they wouldn't have to wait and order their book and wait like 10 days

[permanently deleted]

[–]_social_caterpillar 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I would appreciate this too

[–]Arbor_Lucidity 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

It's not hard to find the file

Just finished it, great read.

Amazing the level of grasp he has on the dynamics between heterosexual male and female relationships as a gay male.

Must read for men of all ages.

"How to Start a Gang" was most interesting and relevant chapter to me.

[–]thebalrog_ofmorgoth 5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

"Bonobo Masturbation Society" was horrifyingly bleak.

[–]SE17Creator[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Good call. I haven't had any free time at all but when i get home if I have time I'll write a post on TRP for more visibility. Thanks

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

It was. A few days ago. That's how I found it.

[–]SE17Creator[S,M] 0 points1 point  (13 children) | Copy Link

Ok i'm at work right now and pretty busy. When i get a chance I'll put up links to amazon and whatever electronic copies I/we can find. I go abroad for a week tomorrow so I'll be offline until i get back.

It's a short book at 192 pages (iirc) so this should give us a fairly nice and quick start to our reading club.

[–]SE17Creator[S,M] 0 points1 point  (12 children) | Copy Link

Also whoever is going to participate please reply to this post so we can keep track.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I'm not part of the Red Pill community, although I'm sympathetic to many of the ideals (that's why I'm reading the book right now, almost finished), so I'd like to participate as well.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Glad you're joining the read man. I'm hoping to see your input!

[–]EmancipatedSlave 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I've been meaning to read this for a while, it seems like a short read so I'll juggle it up in my priorities.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

do i even have to bro? i mean you know i will participate unless i tell you otherwise.

[–]SE17Creator[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

Haha have you started reading? My paperback is due tomorrow.

I had a change of circumstances and didn't go abroad. so I'll start reading tomorrow.

well technically you could get instant books via torrenting but um a 200 pager i can read that in like 8 hours flat, taking notes and 'arguing' with the author about how he is kinda fallacious or points i disagree with, i suppose that is why i like a kindle so much because you can highlight and add notes to text and shit like that, but yeah i like reading and i have the way of men, but i have to take things one at a time. right now i am reading 'the power of habit by charles dihugg' mainly because now i am a member of /r/nofap because i took the advice from 'no more mr. nice guy' by robert glover to stop the porn consumption and stop bieng a little bitch, so what way to do that than to join a community whose primary and only purpose and reason for existance is to do just that! sotp watching porn and stop mastrubating like a pig, so far is working great. i have to say so far it is pretty fucking hard to do, is hard to consider how its fucking hard to quit something that you thought it was trivial, i even challenged a dude over there to see who got to 90 days first pmo free and i am certain i will win he might be watching me too. so i decided to also take glover's advice on 'finish what you start' i mean i can't mention enough times where i quit a book just to start a new one and never getting back to it later. and that is what i am trying to avoid this time and i am actually fucking up because power of habit seems more like a chore than a reading thing but i'll pull through this book, which probably i'll finish it today and i'll start on jack donovan's book ASAP probably finishing it about, at most, in three days flat which would be by the 25th of december and in a way that will be good because then i'll still have five more days to discuss books and what not. i am also planing on reading 'your brain onporn by gary wilson' to stop this porn shit, so um if you can give me a heads up before hand on the reading list for the book club via a PM that be the best way i could stay on track and plan for contengiancies.

I personally think that 'no more mr. nice guy' by robert glover should be the next read pdf download here for free trust me this book is gold when it talks a lot of things about man and women, its borderline a book on masculinity and man self esteem rather than dating based.

i also would suggest we read MODE ONE by alan currie, sometime really near, this book is borderline dating advice but this guy is spot on on how men should think on women but also relationships and other stuff, honesty and geneuity which prevents you from being butthurt/mysogonist later on. trust me you'll mind will be blown like mine was with this book, you'll be a fan of alan after this book. if anything i suggest we'd do this book back to back with 'possibility of sex' because they releate to each other in a way, really life changing in a way.

also i forgot where i heard this but a good way to 'remember' a book or to take the points you want to argue or to get the best things from a book is you can take notes in the book, or you could do a list of bullet points of things that you took from the book and just memorize/ use for reference later and is actually good advice so you just have your cheat sheet and just go off from there, this advice is so fucking good considering that i never though of it. also some of my recomendations i've given i've read, but i also forgot didn't do the cheat sheet bullet point summary for the book, so i was considering re-read the books to do just this, and trust me with this books that are life chaning you'll really want to have a referecne shee, just to let you know and not make the mistatkes i do.

cheers bro.

Very, very excited to dig into this. The intro already has me excited. His "voice" is the sort of voice I would expect on a topic like this.

[–]romanRai 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Half way through this book, reading on my kindle

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Just got it. Will edit when I'm done.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

My favourite part thus far has been this amazing paragraph where he talks about how people will, in the same breath, talk about how "outmoded" our notions of masculinity are and yet appeal to those same masculine ideals when they need us to do something. I hear this all the time and it's frustrating.

[–]Hennez 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Just read this post on TheRedPill, I think is a great idea and will be reading the book as I've intended to do and giving back something to the community.

[–]rauelius -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

For a minute I thought it s the 30 Rock character.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
