For example, did Aristotle have much to say? Any other philosophers or other figures throughout history - famous authors, lotharios, etc.? Whomever, really.

I would have posted this on the main page, but it's a new account and I don't have the cred to do so. Just curious if there were historical figures who were saying the same kind of stuff.

I think that male-female relationships were kind of a given....they were what they were..... for most of human history.

In the past 120 years, we've blown up gender roles and are creating them from scratch. A sociological experiment on a massive scale. Because of the fluidity in the new roles, TRP is rebuilding masculine gender roles out of ashes.

Relationship behavior hasn't really been a given throughout history, though. One of the most famous lotharios in history, Giacomo Casanova, lived almost 300 years ago and his actions when courting were rather "beta" by TRP standards.

As for OP, you could check out Casanova's memoir, Histoire de ma vie.

Agreed, but even so, Casanova lived in a masculine dominated society with most of the population still behaved in traditional roles. A little betatude was probably not the worst thing for getting pussy.

Seconded, running game during the height of the Romantic Period probably entailed the now oh-so-beta proclamations of indefatigable love and beauty.

Off the top of my head, Nietzsche and Schopenhauer wrote some about women. But they are quite recent i guess.

Hi, I know this post is about 2 months old, but I'd recommend you to my blog where I'm dissecting Machiavelli's The Prince for RP purposes. Next up is Marcus Aurelius.
