I think more important than the fact that you have to dump is how you do it.

There's the ghost option, but that may not be logistically possible if she has stuff at your house, etc.

If you have to have closing conversations with her, which you prolly do, how you going to do that? You'll hear talk of being cold and emotionless, but I always think that let's her know you got hurt and are covering it up. Try being the friendly cop.
