A mod asked me to put these all in one place so they can be added to the sidebar here in AskTRP. That's why there's no question in the OP.

Damn, you realize you've almost written a book at this point?

Damn, you realize you've almost written a book at this point?

I prefer to think of it as a screenplay, but yes, I do realize. 16 chapters so far. I wish I was better at "plot" than I am. Typically, something has to actually happen for me to write about it.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

something has to actually happen for me to write about it.

If only this was the norm. BTW, will be applying your christmas post tomorrow. Can already tell, the organizer only allowed drink tokens because the entire C suite rebelled when she tried to make it a dry event. That and the single, former hot 40 year old assistant to the CIO who wants to get drunk and is extremely flirty

Can you make a better setup for disaster than a mother hen in charge of her puritan party?

Drink one, sip 2, hold 3. easiest 2 hours ever

Put all of this content, write in 6-8 stories with recurring characters to sprinkle across the book and you have a next bestseller self help book.

Good show, Vasiliy. One day I plan to write a few BlueCollarLand posts for those who take that path, but it's hard to hold a candle to your body of work here.

[–]Senior EndorsedVasiliyZaitzev[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I thought I saw a "blue collar" version of my Rat Race guide a few months ago. Dunno if it was by you or not, but worth looking at. Took me back to my union days.

It's like you are raising trp kids.

Actually, that's part of why I'm here. So many guys grow up without fathers, so things they would have absorbed from a father or an uncle they get from me and the guy who writes the "fatherly advice" posts.

As I say, from time to time, "All the young men are my sons."

If you click on my (or other guy's, for that matter) username and then click "submitted" a list of threads posted will come up.

[–]BlindNowhereMan 0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

For real? We have to use Archive.is when linking to other redpill posts.

Archive.is sucks on mobile...

[–]MODVigilantRedRooster[M] 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

It's a minor pain in the ass to post the links as well.

This rule helps protect TRP from accusations of brigading other subs. Reddit admins would take any pretext to hinder or remove TRP; we don't want to give them any cannon fodder against us.

[–]BlindNowhereMan 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I understand the rational when linking to other sub, but these link to TRP. Is there some limitation that makes it so we can't allow for internal links?

[–]yellowmonkeyzx93 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I just started reading the first post itself and its gold

I'm a fresh grad and I haven't started work yet as I wanted to know more what I was getting in before I did find a job.

In all honesty, one of the best reads in a long time. Truly appreciate it. Seriously, you could write a book for this..

[–]junior_painkiller 0 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy Link

Am i the only one for whom archive.is just not working at all?

[–]Senior EndorsedVasiliyZaitzev[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

I just spot checked some of the links and they are all working for me, but I'm on a laptop rather than a mobile. Dunno if that makes a difference.

If you click on my username then "submitted" you will be able to find them in 'non-archived' form, but you will have to sift through 2 pages for them because they will be mixed in with all of my submitted threads. It shouldn't be too difficult, just an FYI.

[–]junior_painkiller 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

In Russia https connections to archive are blocked. One can only use http. But i can't still get on this website.

But according to your nickname i can assume you are from Russia - is it so?

I am of Russian (Mom's side) and Anglo-Irish (Dad's side) ancestry. I inherited custody of the Eastern Branch of the family from my mother so I visit the Rodina from time to time and make sure nobody has tipped over. Regrettably, my mother's people used Russian as an 'adult' language, and so my Russian is pretty limited.

Hey Vaisley, I am an HR professional. I moved out of my job in March of this year because the HR Head was a toxic person.

Now that I am looking back to join full time, its difficult to explain why I left the organization in 8 months.

I am from a top business school with 4 years of experience.

Advise please.

[–]Senior EndorsedVasiliyZaitzev[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Is this with the same outfit or with a new one? If it's the same one, then they already know.

You can be general about it "Not being a good fit". If you get pressed demure on that a couple of times. If you have to give an answer say, "Look the department was a toxic environment, and I knew when to cut my losses." Make sure that's the 3rd or 4th time you've been asked. If you are asked to go beyond that, simply say, "Look, I don't want to badmouth a previous employer. I've given you the reason, and further details aren't going to add anything."

Your other qualifications are likely going to be enough to get you by.

Questions and I'm thanking the sub in advance for any answers:

  1. I find shorter girls more demure, feminine, and more prone to wearing the skirts and heels, any thoughts on this?

  2. Recently, I took a girl to a holiday party, which was chalk full of lovely ladies (mostly married, but that's besides the point). As we were walking out, she says to me that she noticed I was fixated on them and she wished she'd dressed up more so I'd be paying more attention to her. To make her point, she spent $80 on wine glasses for me, as it was my birthday and I'd made the mistake of not telling anybody. Every organisation/group/club has a holiday party with similar dynamics.

  3. My grandfather was a Moroccan-Belgian diamond smugglertrader, he told a story once about being in Tel Aviv once, dealing with a slightly-less-than-scrupulous Russian character, who put his arm around him and said "I trust you, name", without flinching, my granddad retorted, "I trust you, almost as much as you trust me". The Russian and he became lifelong friends after this. An understanding of who you're dealing with goes a long way.

Many thanks for the answers to these.

  1. Lots of different women out there. I would say the same of tall girls, but then a girl under 5'7" is pretty much invisible to me. /shrug.

  2. Tell her to come over to your place, serve you wine, and then model lingerie for you, and you Will.Fucking.Pay.Attention.To.Her. Beyond that not sure why not blabbing about the wine glasses is such a big deal, but then my "love language" is "physical touch" not "gifts"1

  3. The Russian guy was basically saying, "rip me off and I will cut your throat", and your grandfather was replying, "I understand."

1 N.B. I am referring to the "Five Languages of Love" or whatever that book is called. It got used against me once, by a chick who was into gifts and thought I wanted to fuck her too much and was just using her for sex. So I pointed out that my "love language" was "physical touch" (which includes sex). Suddenly, it was ok that I always wanted to stick my cock in her.

To quote, Sir Sean Connery, "The key to... (the) heart is an unexpected gift at an unexpected time." My uncle has been in the wine import/export business for 30+ years and saying that provides punters with insight into why I do and say what I do.
