Red Pill TheoryWoman makes an app to rate people: is now not comfortable with people rating her. AHAH. OH WOW. (self.TheRedPill)

submitted by [deleted]

This is fucking ridiculous.

So this genius wants to go on the market with an app designed to make people rate others like they are a place on yelp. Internet backfires with full force and floods her personal and company's page basically saying how her app idea is the origin of all evil in the world.

Also, she states she would moderate every rating for anyone on the site, making money from people that want to pump up or to delete their bad reviews, with the fun factor of making people believe in her own private reality.

This is insane, and creepy. Have a read at the post and enjoy the ride.

tl;dr: title

  1. Lmao
  2. Call the UN, she's the victim of bad "cyber touch".

[–]reddymcwoody 87 points88 points  (18 children)

I looked into what you meant by point 2, I can't believe those shit-tier female game developers who slept around to get good journalist reviews are in the center of a UN meeting?

Fuck all the Syrian refugees, starving Africans, abusive child labor in third world countries, crucifixion in Saudi Arabia of a minor.

Instead lets talk about an interest stranger was mean to me and should go to jail for letters on a screen.

You can't make this shit up.

[–]csehszlovakze 64 points64 points [recovered]

Do you know now who leads the Human Rights Council?

Saudi Arabia.

Yeah, you read that right.

[–]pantsoffire 10 points11 points  (2 children)

Yeah. Now Australia will join that famed council. We can be mentioned in the same sentence as Russia and China. Ah, fuck,

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

And the fuckwits in the media are acting like its a prestigious honour. The reason Tony didnt want Australia to join was because he knew full well that the whole thing was a joke.

[–]pantsoffire 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But on the upside Julie Bishop got to take her boyfriend along. So that's nice.

[–]cariboo_j 21 points22 points  (11 children)

No, no, see, crucifying a minor is perfectly compatible with human rights under Saudi Arabia's interpretation of Islam.

We can't judge other cultures, that would be intolerant.

Plus it's white people's fault because colonialism.

[–]Endorsed Contributorvandaalen 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Erm.. Not defending those savages, but the death penalty for minors is also perfectly compatible with human rights for the USA...

[–]razorwan 1 point2 points  (7 children)

Haha you say this as if the US's culture is any better. Because bombing school kids and raping an entire country for oil interests is definitely better than a few crucifixions conducted by a religious oligarchy.

[–]cariboo_j -3 points-2 points  (6 children)

False Equivalence

You should give this article a read. It may sharpen your thinking skills and prevent you from committing this error in the future.

[–]irish_smithwick 2 points2 points [recovered]

Except it isn't a false equivalence. They are comparing identical things: how a country treats minors based on their respective legal codices.

No one is addressing the legal codes. They are addressing the practice of executing minors for infractions on those codes.

Maybe you should sharpen your thinking skills. And your reading comprehension, while you're at it.

[–]razorwan -1 points0 points  (4 children)

He's a white nationalist-- you can't expect anything other than specious intellectualism from him. This is the internet after all.

[–]cariboo_j 0 points1 point  (2 children)

LOL white nationalist. Try again. I'm niether white nor a nationalist.

Anyways, it is a false equivalency.

America's dirty work is several levels removed. Like drone strikes... are easier on the conscience. Even though they still kill civilians sometimes. But drone operators feel less responsible. Americans lie to themselves and subjectively feel less responsible. If they had to march over to Yemen and stab a family to death they wouldn't do it. They are not chopping a kid's head off and getting blood splattered all over them, like the executioners of Saudi Arabia.

This is where I think Saudi Arabia's culture is more barbaric. Plus, if they had to march over to X country and stab a family to death... they'd agree to do it. No problem.

That's the false equivalency I'm speaking of.

Americans at least try to maintain the semblance of respecting human rights and being good guys. It's the intentions that are important, not the outcome.

Americans don't live up to their rhetoric of freedom, democracy, human rights, etc etc

Saudi Arabia doesn't even bother with that rhetoric. In fact they say the exact opposite.

That's the main difference.

[–]AnnFranklyMyDear 1 point2 points  (1 child)

It's not false equivalence, man. Just stop.

[–]irish_smithwick -1 points-1 points [recovered]

Doesn't the USA execute mentally incompetent minors due to their ethnic make up?

It's fun to lampoon the "ragheads" among you right-wing rednecks, but you should, at the very least, have a modicum of intellectual honesty.

[–]2johnnight 17 points18 points  (1 child)

please show me on this cyberdoll where you were cybertouched.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

My cyber fee-fees! If only there were some way to stop me from seeing all those mean people online!! Why haven't they invented some way to shut off all of this??

[–]KeithStone30rack 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG).

The No Agenda Show talked about the UN thing last Sunday.

[–]neveragoodtime 112 points113 points  (4 children)

Bullying IS WHAT YOU ARE DOING and that is what are [sic] app is NOT. You are the reason we have an app.

She specifically states that the app is for putting people who disagree with her in their place. She talks about all the positive social value of the app, and turns around to say the reason for the app is all about reporting bad behavior.

Red pill take: Women are obsessed with receiving positive social attention, while dishing out nothing but negative attention.

[–]1ErasmusOrgasmus 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The beauty of this quote from the woman herself, found at the end of the article:

As innovators we want to make your life better and have the opportunity to prove how great it feels to be loved by so many in a public space.

Women's social media validation addiction spelled out clear as day by the hamster itself.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan 40 points41 points  (1 child)

Red pill take: Women are obsessed with receiving positive social attention, while dishing out nothing but negative attention.

I'm surprised I personally haven't had this revelation until you pointed it out. Though I will say women like attention in general they'd prefer positive but like children if they have to they will settle for negative. This is why ignoring women works so much better than lashing out and calling them every name in the book.

[–]Chrience 149 points150 points  (59 children)

Have you heard of 'Lulu'. It's an app that rates guys out of ten based on what are basically Alpha traits. A dumb solipsistic girl can post on there about how you're a 'momma's boy' how you 'left her the next morning', how confident you are, what your fucking shoe size really is, amoung many many other former private things.

It then posts these things online so all the girl's family and friends can see a man's 'rating' publicly displayed for all to see ; a giant fucking picture with his face and a number rating under it.

You want proof of women's hypergamy and their transactional view of relationships? That app made millions and is apparently now used by 1 in 4 US college girls. You're only what is valuable to a woman, not a human being. A guys own feelings or well being don't matter to a woman if she is OK with using slandering apps like these, yet that woman now makes up 1 in 4 college girls.

Just search 'Lulu' on apple store or Google play, you'll see this shit certainly didn't fail.

Guys don't even get to edit the reviews posted publicly about them on there. "No beta Brian! Everyone MUST know you are short, have tiny feet and those secrets you trusted to me about you're deep insecurities. The hivemind must know you are inadequate, you must never get laid again!!".

What if we created an app that does the same sort of thing, but rates a woman on things like past number of partners, deepness and tightness of vagina, appearance out of shower without make up, REAL breast size without the push up bra on and how bitchy and entitled she is in and out of public? Details JUST as personal as in Lulu, yet it would be labeled 'misogynistic' and 'horribly sexist !!!!!111' by the media.

[–][deleted] 65 points66 points  (16 children)

We should an app that critiques women. Thats the only way the lulu app will go away.

[–]Polaris382 67 points68 points  (10 children)

I think some guys from the MISC made an app like that ("Chicklopedia"), but I dont think it ever took off. I guess men arent petty enough or whatever for something like that to succeed.

[–][deleted] 44 points45 points  (4 children)

Yeah you have point. Men tend not to GAF.

[–]MagneticJohnson 39 points39 points [recovered]

"I have a date with this pretty hot chick. Obviously I have to check her out on my app first. If she doesn't have humor I'm not going, that's a deal breaker for me!"

Yeah that wouldn't work.

OTOH, I could be interested in checking if a potential ltr is a slut or not. We could have an app that described what kind of skanky shit she's been up to in her past. A slut shaming app:

"Me and my buddies gang banged Rebecca in the summer of 2012. Plate worthy only."

[–]yourlogicisflawed 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Facebook does a pretty good job

[–]Freddy_Fedora 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yup. We can't beat women at their own game, we just don't have the preserverance. It's way reddit is now run by women, despite being majority male. We just don't have the energy to fight their power mod cabals that treat this shit like a job.

[–]ioncehadsexinapool 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Kekd at that name. And you're probably right. We just don't give a shit

[–]darkrood 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well that bitch bumped my car, slapped my pet, and burnt all my clothing.

Didn't care, had sex. :D

[–]MagneticJohnson 23 points23 points [recovered]

"An app that rates women?? Misogyny!!"

"Well, sure, but there's literally an app that rates us. And that came first:)"

Even Lena Dunham herself would struggle to spin that one.

Edit. Did some research. "Men have reddit. Twitter can be scary for women. This app is for women." Guess I was wrong, they spun it very, very nicely! As expected, the comments on every article are pretty damn negative about it. These people will have their voices heard eventually.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Twitter scary for women, really. Too funny

[–]razorwan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Good luck with that. I can just see the incoming "slander rape" charges that fat feminists and egotistical whores alike will press charges for.

Still, if that sort of app took off in a meaningful way, it would be a godsend in terms of ascertaining a woman's fidelity. Women's lies can be hard to detect, particularly concerning the number of previous partners she has had.

[–]RockinV 12 points13 points  (1 child)

I would use the shit out of an app like that. A positive out of all this recent social media is a woman's past is more exposed.

[–]technocratofzigurrat 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That would be much more "damaging" than the "rate man's penis lol" app. It would also make whole the fabric of society.

[–]1CowardlyPetrov 12 points13 points  (16 children)

I was intrigued enough to google it but I am not interested in using it. I am hoping you can answer my one simple question.

Girls can create your profile to rate it? Or they can only rate profiles that guys who use the app make?

[–]MrJugsMcBulge 42 points43 points  (8 children)

The app mines data from Facebook profiles. From wikipedia:

"...evaluations made through the app are attached publicly and anonymously through the app to the accounts of male Facebook users."

Basically, girls aren't "creating" a profile for a guy, they're just linking his pre-existing Facebook profile to the app and tagging it in the app. Presumably then, the easiest way to avoid being rated on this app is to just stay off of Facebook...which is probably a good idea to do anyway.

[–]throwaway_divorce_11 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Freeing myself from Facebook improved my life.

[–]Chrience 15 points16 points  (0 children)

"just stay off Facebook..."

Given that the main purpose of Facebook is for guys to demonstrate value to sluts, and women to feed their endless need for validation, I can only agree.

Why, do you think, is the 'Relationship Status' such an important part of it?

[–][deleted] 26 points27 points  (0 children)

Yeah keeping yourself off Facebook is a good idea holy Christ this shit is terrible.

[–]elevul 3 points4 points  (2 children)

They can make a fake facebook account in your name anyway, so I'm not sure how much that would help.

[–]FeeFeeFeaster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not having an account, I'm not sure what processes the staff goes through to remove a fake account, but FB does have a reporting tool for fake accounts.

[–]afganposter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

or if a girl asks for your facebook tell her no, she might be trying to find you/register you with the app

[–]Chrience 31 points32 points  (6 children)

Girls make that profile, the guy doesn't even have to sign up to receive the humiliation, nor even know about it.

[–]RPModulator 27 points27 points [recovered]

Sounds like it's time to create a female facebook account . . . >:)

[–]ChadThundercockII 16 points17 points  (3 children)

Genius. Let us all do that a give each other out of this earth ratings. The newbies get laid and get out of the anger phase and we can move on with this train.

Any volunteers ?

[–]razorwan 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Genius. Let us all do that a give each other out of this earth ratings.

This sounds like a great way for bloopers to doxx people here-- kind of like a modern Trojan horse

[–]ChadThundercockII 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no ! You are onto my evil plans of doxxing these neck beards virgins !!

[–]1ErasmusOrgasmus 13 points14 points  (1 child)

Surely if they are using your photo and details without your permission, and writing shit about you that probably isn't true, you would have grounds for a libel case and some sort of data protection claim?

[–]whoops_fap 15 points15 points [recovered]

I'm an app dev full time, thinking I might make an app like this for men to rate women.

[–]putin_vor 14 points15 points  (1 child)

Do it anonymously. Don't ruin your life.

[–]benediction_in_mind 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think Lulu only allows you to rate people that are signed up instead of Facebook integration now.

[–][deleted] 2 points2 points

[permanently deleted]

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (2 children)

U Loose? I'm in the startup arena so to speak. I'll see if I can get something rolling. Developers tend to be whiny little beta bitches whereas illegal Mexicans will work their asses off for $10 an hour, sixty plus hours a week.

[–]mpjr1 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I am a Mexican and I approve this comment.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the truth. Every Mexican I've ever known will work harder, longer, and better than many of the trash that make up the white Millenial demographic. I like handling their personal injury cases because they are sympathetic to a jury as all get out and actually listen to me on how to handle their cases.

Programmers/developers, whine, bitch, smoke shitty pot, and barely ever get shit done. Fuck, they practically demand applause for managing to wipe their own asses. If Mexicans could program, I'd be a rich man.

[–]Tipsy_Gnostalgic 1 point2 points  (1 child)

That app made millions and is apparently now used by 1 in 4 US college girls.

Just curious but where did you get that statistic about the number of users?

[–]Chrience 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Did you see the post about the Girls Can Code show that was on here a while ago? In the first episode, the investor for the Lulu app tells the girls all about it. The millions made, the users. Any mention of possible slander, misandry or sexism against men was conveniently omitted.

The entire show would be better named Girls With Useless Fashion Degrees Can't Code

[–]StarDestinyGuy[🍰] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm tempted to download this app but don't know if I want to see my reviews...assuming I have any.

[–]lemming1607 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thanks for this. gonna post a review of myself before someone else does

[–]Luckyluke23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fuk dude... id do it for the lols and the shitstorm that comes with it.

Pretty sure you would be the worlds most hated man in seconds

[–]nicememeboss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cant find it in the playstore bro

[–]BurnYourFlag 0 points1 point  (0 children)

create it and sign me up bro, stop complaining about how society would label it sexist. controversy just pulls attention to a idea, and you should not allow society values to get in the way of your own ambitions.

[–]Abreseyes 0 points0 points [recovered]

A couple of times recently I've given girls my number and interest has disappeared instantly.

I Googled my number but it didn't turn anything up , could I be on Lulu?

[–]lono12 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nah that's just modern dating.

[–][deleted] 51 points52 points  (2 children)

In one now-deleted Facebook post, Cordray asked: "Anyone know how to prevent people from posting on the comments on a company Facebook page? I know how to prevent people from posting on our page just not commenting on our posts."

I know this wasn't a joke but it made me laugh anyway.

[–][deleted] 42 points43 points  (4 children)

This app for people to dox and quote mine.

They want to use it to attack people with "wrong opinions" and deprive them of the ability to earn a living.

It's a feminist authoritarian wet dream.

[–]TRP VanguardCyralea 26 points27 points  (2 children)

You nailed it. It's a fascists' control tool. The pinnacle of Leftist ambition. It's literally only a step removed from actual Thought Crime. If this thing ever gets off the ground, you're going to have to be very careful what you say in the presence of a woman.

[–]destraht 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems like they would need to tie it to a FB account or email. I think that not having FB is the way to go.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bingo. We have been devolving that way ever since social media has been invented. Instead of paid informants and expensive secret police apparatus. You use the users on FB, Google+ etc... as your reporting machine. If you are not popular you will get hung out to dry.

[–]internet_terrorist 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"this online village of love and abundance for all."

That's not Utopian at all /s

[–][deleted] 77 points78 points  (3 children)

There is no way this cunt isn't aware of the damage her app could do. I hope she goes bankrupt and loses all her and daddy's money.

[–][deleted] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I really do think she lacks that kind of self-awareness.

Rationality is an acquired taste, and not many people aquire it.

[–]IndyBrodaSolo 36 points37 points  (1 child)

She's surely a real "tech entrepreneur". I bet that she just hired some beta male to do all the technical stuff.

Check out Meredith Perry. Feminized media praises her as a next Elon Musk when in reality she just used her plastic surgeon daddy's money to hire some engineers to do all the work for her. Not to mention the fact that anyone even with basic understanding of physics could tell that her technology isn't gonna work.

[–]What_The_Shoe 4 points5 points  (0 children)

That's a scary level of stupidity.

[–]sir_wankalot_here 34 points35 points  (4 children)

She states she would moderate every rating for anyone on the site, making money from people that want to pump up or to delete their bad reviews, with the fun factor of making people believe in her own private reality.

This is brilliant, it is a form of electronic extortion.

[–]2rp_valiant 11 points12 points  (1 child)

it's a classic internet scheme - you see it with those revenge porn sites and the ones that mirror your criminal record. Even with Ashley Madison accounts. You can pay to remove negative info about you from the internet.

[–]LuvBeer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I can't see how this is legal and taking pictures of someone with their side piece in public and then asking them for money to not sell the pictures to the tabloids isn't.

[–]Manmore 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Exactly what I thought. Just like infecting someone with a trojan and demanding money to not sell all their information.

[–][deleted] 31 points32 points  (3 children)

I remember an episode of Community that was EXACTLY this. Fun read, thanks for sharing.

[–]ShounenEgo 34 points35 points  (2 children)

And right after that

We are bold innovators

Lol no you're not. There were "rate this person" apps since the dawn of the internet. The self-stroking is real.

[–]ChadThundercockII 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The self-stroking is real.

It is called masturbation, solipsism, or a woman's way of being.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I saw the the title and was like "oh ya, like Hot or Not."

She's an innovator though.

[–]sammichbitch 21 points22 points  (3 children)

I hope she gets cyber bullied to her death. I know this is reddit and they probably think cyber bullying is real but fuck it, I hope she gets cyber bullied to death with her own app.

[–]pantsoffire -1 points0 points  (2 children)

Maybe. Maybe she will hand herself on cam. Not that ever happened with a male.

[–]ItsCold_ItsCold 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Better that she foot herself instead. We're not savages.

[–]CuntyMcFagNuts69 17 points18 points  (3 children)

This is fucking fantastic. Hey I need people to tell me how pretty I am

Hey no mean comments, just validate me

[–]TigerMonarchy 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Can I validate you by telling you how much your screen name rules? And I swear I'm not even bullshitting you. That name is awesome.

[–]CuntyMcFagNuts69 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Only if you're a alpha male then you can compliment me. If not, I'm calling the police

[–]slimcoat 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It's only a matter of time before she claims "misogyny" and "the patriarchy is attacking me for developing software", giving feminists a reason to come to her defense.

[–]Ivan_AwsomeTool 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are we going to have to pay for better reviews like Yelp?

[–]Assassin1476 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You can't even post your opinion as a guy without potentially getting down voted into oblivion on reddit by women and their lap dogs that coupd be considered even slightly innapropiate. If they made a male version of this app where you could critique women with all of their flaws it would get hit with the meteor that killed the dinosaurs

[–]Nicholas_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Also am I the only one who thinks technology is not only moving way too fast but is also being abused like never before?

I think something big is going to erupt soon in the next 10-20 years.

[–]STI-ylin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

This is....advanced narcissism

[–]B0u1dA 6 points7 points  (5 children)

The lack of self awareness is unsurprising. Didn't a single person put their hand up and point out what an awful idea this is? Well she knows now. She's going to spin this into a validation of the idea until the courts get involved when it gets cited in a slander or libel case.

[–]elevul 5 points6 points  (4 children)

Are you sure she can't cover her ass legally with Eula/Disclaimers?

The reality is that while this is a horrible idea morally, it definitely has the potential to make bank.

[–]B0u1dA 2 points3 points  (2 children)

It's the presumption of inclusion and before it launches, the cackhanded way that they have handled criticism of their business model.

[–]elevul 1 point2 points  (1 child)

True, but despite that I'm not sure it will fail. The market is there for it.

[–]B0u1dA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The rush to judgement without compassion. That it's coached in sentiments that have all the substance of a greeting card just adds to my dismay. Mostly I will continue to focus on my purpose and development. The only true opinion that matters is my own and I'm my coach and critic. Always striving.

[–]itsmehobnob 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Eula/disclaimers are not legally binding. A document cannot supersede the law.

[–]insertnames 3 points4 points  (4 children)

At this point they will push this through to take advantage of all the noise they made. Not really sure how this will end.

[–]friendlysociopathic 12 points13 points  (3 children)

Relentless and brutal cyberattacks.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Somewhere out there I'm sure a massive DDoS is coming.

[–]Nicholas_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don't like this app or the idea that this could become normal. Humans shouldn't rate a person based soley of their physical characteristics, rather what they do.

Will be abused and used for bullying which is why I don't like it.

[–]ASAP_Bickle 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This type of female fuckery is all the more reason that everyone here should OBEY THE NUMBER ONE FUCKING RULE OF RED PILL:

Rule 1 of TRP: Never talk about TRP.

This app may fail miserably, but a lot of its ideas are so beneficial to the female sexual strategy that I can see many similar imitators becoming dominant design in the next few years. One minute you're trying to help out your beta friend and namedrop red pill, the next he tells everyone you know and your app rating (which can be put up without your consent) is fucking blasted with people outing you as "one of those terper mysoginists!!11".

Keep it fucking real gents. Never talk about The Red Pill.

[–]skoobled 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's basically the female social matrix "chicken coop" writ large. And powered by Internetz

[–]Hydris 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She's not the first person to try and make an so like this. They eventually get pulled from the App Store because the overwhelming backlash at how clearly sexist they are.

[–]Dustin_Bromain 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just downloaded the app and discovered that I am indeed on this app. Has anyone else done this and found themselves? How does one remove oneself from this app?
