Judge's words: “You went out looking for trouble and you found it. It was tragically wrong.”

Now imagine if a judge said this to a woman after she went out for a night of heavy drinking and ended up being "raped" (i.e. she got really drunk, had sex with a stranger, then regretted it the next day). She put herself in a potentially dangerous situation, and thus she was responsible for the consequences. Reverse the genders, and that is essentially what the judge is telling the man. Except you can't tell a woman that ...

Feminism in a nutshell:

All men are inherently violent, dangerous. Rapists.

All women have no agency. They are not responsible for their actions. In other words, they are basically children.

Feminism is one fucked up world-view, my friends.

[–]Truan[S] 45 points46 points  (15 children) | Copy Link

I'm glad you brought this up because I was considering the idea (that men are ALWAYS in the wrong) of how a woman can be drunk and it's the man taking advantage of her but a man can be drunk and it doesn't fucking matter because he should always have a good head on his shoulders.

It really is becoming more and more catered to the women, with their fucked up statistics and their social impressions. They don't understand a fucking thing but are gaining enough steam that people are appeasing their bullshit.

[–][deleted] 29 points30 points  (7 children) | Copy Link

Woman drunk = he took advantage of her

Man drunk = he went on a drunken raping spree

[–]TRPShill 18 points19 points  (6 children) | Copy Link

"drunken raping spree"

I picture Archer's post cancer rampage in drunk, toxic masculinity rape form

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Speaking of archer this case is relevant to the european heirress episode

[–]IceDagger316 2 points3 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

[–]TurgidMeatWand 9 points10 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

men are always in the wrong...

I've been watching Feminism LOL on YouTube lately. Her latest video series is about exploring feminism's relationship to the new age movement and how they were both born from mysticism during the suffrage movement.

Basically women are supposed to bring about a spiritual evolution to humanity because female "energy". Men are supposed to step down/aside before this can happen.

So men are wrong cause women special.

Related.

Best defense if you were both drunk and have no proof of consent (next-day text)? Turn the tables. Say that YOU were not attracted to the woman at all, that you have been taken advantage of and hint that you might have been drugged. Say you were raped and be serious about it. Ride on the counter-movement.

[–]2rp_valiant 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

don't be silly, men can't be raped.

That's what they'll say at your sentencing.

[–]Boovs4life 0 points1 point  (2 children) | Copy Link

I'm trying to get myself out there and meeting women since i am a beta in the process of swallowing the pill, but this right here makes me go deeper into the anger phase and see women with disgust and anger. My friend asked me why i was so angry bc i literally punched my wall in frustration when i was reading this. Reading about women getting away with shit like this makes my blood boil.

[–]Truan[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

Let go of your anger. Punching your wall did nothing but train yourself to punch things when you're mad.

Just be aware of the female game. Don't fall for the trap and only meet a girl at a bar.

[–]ThrowingMyslfOutther 24 points25 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

Everyone is missing a small point. It was all overturned, there was a petition, and he had his conviction vacated.

Not that it wasn't bad that it happened, but we should celebrate internet outrage worked this time. Let's keep the momentum up.

[–]Paranoidexboyfriend 10 points11 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

He was resentenced to probation. In order to receive any sentence at all, he would have had to be convicted of something. Don't get me wrong, he is wayyyy better off being off not having to register as a sex offender, since a violation of those draconian terms is serious time, but lets not act like he wasn't convicted here. This will still show up on background checks and bar him from jobs and security clearances

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

:D oh my god that's fucking awesome!! thank fucking god.

[–]GlansInYourHands 8 points9 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Not to mention it sets a legal precedent.

[–][deleted] 21 points22 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

You don't even have to go that far.

What if they charged the minor with entrapment? Or charged the parents in her place?

The exact same words SHOULD be legitimate against the fourteen year old. Especially in light of the mother's perspective.

Disgusting is what it is, I agree with you, (and OP). Protect yourself, men are very much alone in the legal world.

...

FUCK FEMINISTS

[–]Paranoidexboyfriend 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Entrapment isn't a crime, its an affirmative defense to a crime alleging government misconduct.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

You're completely correct, (checked it), and I'm sorry. Only law course I've taken is ethics of law, I'm not familiar with codification in that respect.

[–]2Overkillengine 11 points12 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

All women have no agency. They are not responsible for their actions. In other words, they are basically children.

Which as I have said before makes feminists the biggest misogynists out there; as they with near religious fervor attempt to abdicate the one thing that could make a woman an equal to a man: agency.

[–]An_All-Beef_Engineer 8 points9 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Now imagine if a judge said this to a woman after she went out for a night of heavy drinking and ended up being "raped"

Ah, but a judge DID.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

I mean what does society think they are gaining from always giving women the benefit of the doubt? They will never learn anything and are a terrible example for young children. Does not help humanity in any way possible.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

[deleted]

What is this?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I understand that but "always"?!? At some points it's ridiculous and doesn't help people see something they really need to learn. Sometimes you have to tell the child he fucked up and to learn from it.

[–]Redpillkid 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Im not from US , could the guy move to a different state and live normal life there?

[–]itsgavinc 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

No (and as if leaving those you know and your job behind and moving to another state itself somehow equates to anything normal)

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

To me the judge emits extreme conservative, not feminist vibes.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

That's just so much more eloquent than anything I can put together. Stealing this.

[–]ColdEiric 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Judges wished they too could get young girls. This is their way of shaming it.

[–]cuckoo22 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Hey bro, whilst i agree with the injustice of whats happening, your comment on feminism isn't completely right. Yeh, feminism now is pretty much about misandry and empowerment, but the basic concept is merely about equality, as it was in the 50's and 60's. Sorry for sounding like a square.

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 87 points88 points  (12 children) | Copy Link

on a cut right now, so every day I come home exhausted and tired, dreading going to the gym, wondering how i'm going to get the energy to lift anything. i procrastinate a few minutes to read a couple TRP articles.

suddenly the cynicism turns to irritation, which turns into intense frustration, which turns into anger.

bad news: I'm not over the anger phase like I thought

good news: thanks to articles like this one, I'm headed to the gym with fiery passion

[–]Drmadanthonywayne 6 points7 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

That was a bait and switch. They offered "free love" to get men on board with feminism, and now that they've gotten what they wanted, it's a new Victorian age.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Unless of course you're Chad, then suddenly they're no longer feminists.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Or love, companionship perhaps a future mother for his children. How is attempting to date going out looking for trouble? Prosecutors and judges can be such hypocritical assholes. Just watch a reporter try to get a prosecutor to say they made a mistake when it has been proven they wrongfully convicted somebody.

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

How is attempting to date going out looking for trouble? Prosecutors and judges can be such hypocritical assholes.

It's because they're jealous married beta white knights. A guy getting sex without paying the price of marriage and eternal misery and frustration like they do? The cad! Lock him away! Protect the wimminz!

[–]Anarch_Angel 31 points32 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

I followed this case. This was repealed and he has been taken off the sex offender registry

[–]TRP VanguardtrpSenator 15 points16 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

Yeah, this is a terrible example. Not only is it old news, considering the judge's ruling is moot and is going to be looked at again by another judge, but this judge is also an outlier. He's made national headlines numerous times for being corrupt and shitty, but remains because he's an old fuck who's really connected and keeps getting elected.

[–]sirjuicybooty 1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

BUT it's still fucking stupid he had to go through this. Being a sex offender is no joke. Just because you get off the list, doesn't mean everything goes back to normal. People have their lives destroyed because of this.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I mean, if employers or universities search his name on google now its an automatic rejection of his application. So yeah, there is no going back or recovery from something like this. This is the rest of his life.

[–]TRP VanguardtrpSenator -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Oh yeah. It's super fucking shitty; no doubt about that. It's also a really cancerous element of our society. However, it's also deeply engraved into our entire social and legal frameworks that it's an equally large challenge to resolve. The best way to approach this situation isn't so much to bitch about it in hopes of changing things, rather, just learn how to navigate around it.

[–]sub180 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

OP should update the post. Good looking out.

[–][deleted] 33 points34 points  (19 children) | Copy Link

In July, 20-year-old Indiana man Zach Anderson was sentenced to 90 days in jail and ordered to register as a sex offender in two states, and remain on those registries until 2040.

Would move from those states immediately

As a sex offender, he’d be forbidden from owning a smartphone or using the Internet for the next five years, talking to anyone younger than 17 (aside from immediate family), going anywhere that serves alcohol, and being away from home past 8pm every night.

Totally unenforceable unless caught

Judge Dennis Wiley told Anderson, “You went online... trolling for women to meet and have sex with. That seems to be part of our culture now. Meet, hook up, have sex, sayonara. Totally inappropriate behavior. There is no excuse for this.”

Don't care what you find inappropriate. Clearly this judge has been living under a rock for the past 50 years.

[–]PlayerXz 21 points22 points  (5 children) | Copy Link

Don't care what you find inappropriate. Clearly this judge has been living under a rock for the past 50 years.

Exactly. It's totally legal to have a one night stand and a shit ton of people are doing it, but the judge thinks it's unethical and roasts him for it. It doesn't matter what the judges personal opinion is on having a one night stand.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Judges who sentence like this should be removed from office.

[–]Paranoidexboyfriend 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

They absolutely can be removed from office, they are elected officials. Unfortunately, judges like this are wildly popular with the electorate especially those who vote (old people). So saying shit like that judge says actually help you get elected

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

And then fucking burnt on the stake. His attitude is disgusting.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Yup. At one time, it was inappropriate to sleep with a black man.

[–]Senior ContributorMentORPHEUS 19 points20 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

Totally unenforceable unless caught

Yes, but IF caught violating a court order, it's go directly to jail, do not pass go. I don't recommend being cavalier about obeying a judge's orders, no matter how unjust.

[–]cdtCPTret 4 points5 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

And its not about getting caught doing anything wrong. A few times I have been in the wrong place at the wrong time minding my own business and they detain you while they check for any warrants. I'm betting that would show up. (I din't do nuffin)

[–]Senior ContributorMentORPHEUS 11 points12 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Exactly. The US "Justice" system has been rigged by the likes of the Prison Guards' Union to become an expansionist enterprise, and once you enter, it's designed to keep you in its clutches.

Once my city filed some trumped-up municipal code violations against my business property that they were basically trying to steal. My shitty attorney told me to accept the plea deal 30 seconds before the hearing began, which I regret to this day. As a result, I was on informal probation for three years, for charges like "Outdoor storage" and "Performing work outside of building." Three times I got pulled over for minor traffic violations, and when the cop asked if I was on parole or probation, I was marched to the back of the police car, once held by my thumbs behind my back. Two of the three cops felt bad about the whole thing by the end, but one was trying to indimidate and goad me into losing my temper with him; I remained calm and he let me go when I didn't behave like a cat toy for him.

[–]GlansInYourHands 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Good example of how holding frame and remaining stoic applies to situations in life other than interpersonal relationships.

[–]putin_vor 10 points11 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

I'm pretty sure people hooked up just the same 50 years ago. Probably not with that judge though.

[–]RPSigmaStigma 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Yeah...I have never met anyone who was like "Yeah soooo I'm dating a judge".

[–]Thursday088 3 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Couldn't the no smartphone or internet part qualify for the "unusual" part of cruel or unusual punishment?

[–]RPSigmaStigma 3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

It would be if the genders were reversed. Everyone knows how cruel it would be to deprive a teen girl of her smartphone.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Now, that's funny. But I think rokr1292 is on to something. I mean even socialist Obama stated that internet is an essential part of the American worker and needed to be subsidized for the "less fortunate". Meaning, he ranks it up there with running water.

[–]Idioticaz 11 points12 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

So this guy who was just trying to get some fun like all guys his age do was duped by an underage girl into having sex and he has to register as sex offender?

From your post it looks like his social life for the next 5 years is absolutely destroyed, he won't be able to have many friends if any at all due to the restrictions on smartphones, internet, and places that serve alcohol.

So really what does he have to look forward to now? This is the sort of judicial stupidity that breeds hatred, anger, and violence towards the government and society. I wouldn't be surprised if this guy looses it due to being outcast for a simple mistake that was not even his fault.

[–]Truan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Read the whole article for a full understanding, just in case I leaked any bias in my rant.

[–]RedPharaohRising 10 points11 points  (4 children) | Copy Link

I didn't know judges were allowed to project their own moralities into their judgements. Fuck

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

There's enough people chomping at the bit to be judges we can get rid of these old coot fucks who judge using their own personal opinions.

[–]Statecensor 3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Actually no lawyer with any skill or ability to earn wants to be a judge because they make shit compared to all legal practices. So you end up with the rejects. One of the Supreme Court Justices went around giving a speech on how we need to give them big raises if we expect to get anything but the rejects from law school. The main stream media tried to paint him as a crooked greedy fuck. While at the same time congress and even the president have receive rises every 2-3 years.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

I thought they could but they'd have to be a bit more subtle about it. "What's that? You see nothing wrong with one-night stands? I sentence you to a week in prison for... jaywalking! Disrespecting our state's traffic laws is completely inexcusable" or something. I expected some kind of plausibly deniable excuse. He did this in such an overt manner, I'm really starting to fear for the future. It seems to depend more and more on being liked by others thereby demanding that one prostrates themself to these fucked up ideals the feminists have set for us.

[–]RedPharaohRising 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

When you can be overt without fear of retribution, you are straight talking. Which only happens once the power equation is established and unchallenged.
We're fucked

[–]Hoodwink 17 points18 points  (10 children) | Copy Link

This is why trial by jury and jury nullification exists.

[–]Truan[S] 13 points14 points  (6 children) | Copy Link

But will that do much? Half the masses are brainwashed into thinking the same thing, and a lot of people won't even second guess a statutory rape case. A jury of his peers will be just as biased, if not more so, than the judges.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Jury of your peers does not count for much when they're a standard deviation of IQ below you and plugged into mainstream media.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (3 children) | Copy Link

Many believe that trial by jury is unhealthy as you are placing the judgement in hands of unprofessionals who might have a higher chance of being influenced by stereotypes and stuff.

[–]Hoodwink 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Right.

The judge actually gave a lenient sentence, which is alright. But, it certainly shouldn't have gone this far.

He was the victim. The tool was the law. The judge and the system played into some fucked up teenager's hands. It's a joke.

This is scary, and hits close to home. I once faced a similar charge. I never knew her age and her mother had me charged.

My lawyer told me there was no defense and to plead guilty and hope for less jail time as it was a first offence. There was a mistrial since he was her sisters lawyer in an unrelated case.

My next mayer was a woman who was personally offended by my case and wouldn't let me plead guilty. She faught her ass off and got me found innocent.

One of the only times in my life I do not mind saying that woman was my hero.

[–]Truan[S] 1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I have a friend who went through a similar thing (and I haven't heard from him in years, so fingers crossed we just lost contact and he's not in prison)

he even hung out at her place while her parents were around, went to clubs with her, etc etc. It was not good for him. I really do hope he's okay. =/

The most shocking part of this is the "You can't use the internet for 5 years part"

Five fucking years! What the flying fuck?! How on gods green earth do you not use the internet for five fucking years? No more Amazon? No more Netflix? No more youporn? What the fuck is wrong with our society.

Seriously, leave the USA. We've jumped the proverbial shark in terms of our insane appetite for social justice. We've decided to just ignore reality and create our own little pocket of the universe where the universe is completely non-existent. I can't stand it and I"m so glad I up and left. I can fuck 17 year olds without worrying about losing my internet privileges for half a goddamn decade.

[–]-rwsr-xr-x7 points [recovered] (2 children) | Copy Link

  • No more time.nist.gov or ntp for setting the time on your TV or other devices
  • No more IoT devices

  • No more home security cameras
  • No more LinkedIn (good luck finding a network of people to help hire you)
  • No more email (say bye-bye to getting a job without an email or home computer)
  • No more USPS

  • No more Google for zipcode lookups
  • No more Wikipedia
  • No more DMV license renewal or registration renewal

...and hundreds more examples where you're not just sitting in front of a PC with a keyboard "playing games or whacking off to pr0n"

This judge clearly doesn't realize how pervasive "the Internet" is in our lives. It's not just "the web", it's so much more than that, and it's connected to everything, even if we don't realize it.

[–]PlayerXz 0 points1 point  (1 child) | Copy Link

I would add no more online music to that list. Imagine having to buy a CD-player and then having to search through every fucking store to see if they sell the album you want because you can't look up online where they sell it.

Also not being able to talk to anyone under the age of 17 is a problem. Most stores have cashiers that are younger than 17. And even if you can find one, there is no way you are going to be able to avoid talking to anyone that is under 17. How is he even going to check this? Oh you seem a little young, can I please see your ID before I talk to you?

And having to be home at 8pm every night is a huge problem as well. If you like sports when are you going to train? Most training are throughout the week in the evening so people can go after they are done working. And what if he has a job that requires him to work later than 8pm? Bye, bye job. And try getting a new one without having access to basic things like email.

All this because he was deceived by a girl? Imagine if the genders would be reversed in this one. The feminists would start a fucking witchhunt for this judge.

The real takeaway here is that it's simply a bad decision to have casual sex in modern America. The deck is stacked too heavily against you, the risk will NEVER be worth the reward.

At best you have crappy shallow sex with a potentially STD infested slut.

At worst your entire life is destroyed forever.

Obviously this is wrong and not how things should be. But TRP isn't about how things should be, it's about how they are.

"Honorable" Judge Wiley sounds like a frustrated beta chump who could never get laid, and is abusing his position to punish other guys for hookups, like he's resentful that men can do this and he can't. Wiley, you're pulling a real Elliot Roger. Knock it the fuck off.

Correct me if I am wrong but wouldn't mens rea be applicable to statutory rape cases?

Part of it being a crime is actually knowing the victim isn't legally empowered to give sexual consent, correct? And he can't be reasonably expected to guess the the age of his partner or to believe she lied. Just look at aggressive carding rules at bars and stores for booze/tobacco. These policy's exist because some 19 year olds look 35.

It doesn't help that both the judges are using their positions for puritanical grandstanding about "the darn kids and their new fangled sexting phones!" At least pretend to be impartial...

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

No, it's a strict liability crime and as such mens rea is not required, simply the actus reus, like speeding. Which is a terrible idea.

I'm not being ironic when I say that's draconian in today's world. How the fuck is he going to go to university, or remain in contact with anyone he doesn't live with? This effectively shuts him out of participating in the majority of the world he might for the next 5 years. I can't believe they would give this sort of sentence so lightly.

[–]scruffist 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Probation is little understood by most of society, but it's a half-slavery kind of existence. Victims, I mean, convicted individuals usually lose natural rights (to move about and do boring everyday things) just like an incarcerated person. I used to work at a library and manned the lost and found, and people lost their papers a lot. A library is the first stop for many people just released from prison and I ended up holding several peoples parole documents in my hands.

Talk about draconian. You might say, "well a person convicted of a DUI probably shouldn't drive or drink for a minute," and most of society would agree.

But this shit was insane and had nothing to do with reason. Pornography (meaning magazines or even PG-13 pinup pics not to mention the web) was always forbidden. So was alcohol whether or not your crime had anything to do with alcohol. Prescription painkillers (regardless of whether you had a serious illness) were a no. You could not be anywhere where there was alcohol... And they are specific on this. You can not be at your parent's house for thanksgiving if there is a bottle of wine. You couldn't set foot in a Chili's. You could not visit a friend's apartment if they had an old bottle of vodka in the closet. Doesn't matter if there was drinking. Just that it was there. Any stores were alcohol, porn were sold were out. Which is most convenience and groceries stores and even some CVS stores. You couldn't be within a half-mile or more of any school or playground, and that wasn't just for sex offenders. Nevermind that you can't see a school or playground from a half-mile in most cities. And you couldn't live near them. If you weren't homeless, some people are because of the restrictions, you will have visits unannounced day and night where they will search through your cabinets and closets for anything forbidden. Occasionally it would allow for computer use only to find a job. Most I saw said people couldn't use the net to make money, because all online jobs were assumed to be gambling scams. It could vary widely from person to person, but I saw the parole docs for poor people with a public defender and no agency.

The point? To get people back in jail. They want that money it brings in. Most people released in my city weren't from there — and that was on purpose, to make it harder to get and keep a job since you have no family or friend connections.

Also, Zach had some terrible ones you guys haven't even mentioned. His parents emptied their retirement to buy him a place to live. Their house was off limits because it was within 1000 feet of a fucking boat launch.

A co-worker of mine who is currently 19 has been battling a statutory rape case since he turned 18.

You see, 2 weeks after he turned 18 he had intercourse with a 16 year old who had been courting. Her mother found out, flipped her shit, and immediately went to work trying to ruin her daughter's suitor's life. Over $30,000 in legal fees later, this kid has been rake over the coals, shamed, and slapped with whatever criminal charges they could be muster and forced to wear an ankle tracker, simply for liking and successfully scoring a girl similar to his own age.

This whole fiasco has gotten him removed from both his school and all subsequent groups he was active with there.

This is a tragic injustice to this young man AND the girl that he liked, as she clearly liked him back.

Not that I disagree with your comment. many are asking questions that were discussed in the article.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

Your summary of the events was absolutely fine, but everyone else seems to have selectively read the information to fuel some anger-stage outrage circle jerk.

  • He's no longer on the sex registry in Michigan
  • He can have a cell phone
  • He doesn't have to do jail time
  • He can use the internet
  • The parents of the girl actively campaigned to not punish him, they knew how bullshit it was
  • HE'S NOT ON THE SEX REGISTRY IN MICHIGAN

What does effect him:

  • He's still on probation for two years. Can't go to bars or use computers outside of school. Can't go to parks.
  • He's still on the registry in Indiana, but his legal team is working on that and will probably succeed in having him removed.

[–]Truan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Ah! I think I meant to quote that but got swept up in the second judge's comments. I will rectify that right now.

Either way regardless of things going better for him, the fear of that initial decision is still pretty huge.

Other than the obvious hypocrisy, ie the girls on there are doing the same, and have the control, didn't his lawyer point out to the judge that the the judges moral views don't count for shit. All that matters is did he break the law, and did he do it knowingly and with intent.

[–]1CowardlyPetrov 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Judge Dennis Wiley told Anderson, “You went online... trolling for women to meet and have sex with. That seems to be part of our culture now. Meet, hook up, have sex, sayonara. Totally inappropriate behavior. There is no excuse for this.”

Yeah, that quote is retarded.

I agree with him, you know, SOCIALLY. But to extend your social judgments into punishing people for crimes they haven't committed? This quote pretty much amounts to, "You went out with the intention of legally enjoying yourself, but it is not to my taste and that you were deceived is convenient for me because I want to hurt you."

People talking about whether or not the onus is on the man as an adult makes me thing of mens rea. I'm too lazy to try to explain so I'm just going to quote wikipedia.

Mens rea (Latin for "guilty mind") in criminal law, is viewed as one of the necessary elements of some crimes. The standard common law test of criminal liability is usually expressed in the Latin phrase, actus reus non facit reum nisi mens sit rea, which means "the act is not culpable unless the mind is guilty". Thus, in jurisdictions with due process, there must be an actus reus, or "guilty act", accompanied by some level of mens rea to constitute the crime with which the defendant is charged (see the technical requirement of concurrence). As a general rule, criminal liability does not attach to a person who merely acted with the absence of mental fault. The exception is strict liability crimes.

Therefore, mens rea refers to the mental element of the offence that accompanies the actus reus. In some jurisdictions, the terms mens rea and actus reus have been replaced by alternative terminology. In Australia, for example, the elements of the federal offenses are now designated as "fault elements" or "mental elements" (mens rea) and "physical elements" or "external elements" (actus reus). This terminology was adopted to replace the obscurity of the Latin terms with simple and accurate phrasing.

This guy did not intend to commit this crime and we know this for a fact. The mother would not defend him if that was not the case and the daughter admitted to lying. This is not even in question.

Wow. There are no words to describe how fucked up this supposedly unbiased judge is in dishing out his sentence.

Yeah, I agree with you.

So this is what it comes down to. Apparently men have to be looking for more than sex on these sites. Never mind the under aged liar who is also looking for the same fucking thing in a place she has no business looking. Never mind the entire purpose and attitude of the app. Never mind what the girl's intentions ever are. If the male is caught doing something wrong, it is 100% his fault.

In a just world, that girl would be put onto some sort of registry. Not one that involves a curfew and restricts internet access. God those are draconian and retarded restrictions. But one which is publicly listed and records her crime of falsifying information with intent to commit a crime. Some sort of lying bitch registry. I can't think of exactly the name. Something like Perjurers' registry but that includes all the various ways women lie from this to false allegations to perjury. I don't know a word that covers all that in official legal sort of language. Can't just call it lying bitch registry.

[–]Rougepellet 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

What the fuck this is horseshit. Can the court actually do that? Because the beta judge doesn't approve of the dude getting pussy he gives him such a punishment? What kind of system is that? Fuck the states.

[–]moose_war 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

and ordered to register as a sex offender in two states, and remain on those registries until 2040.

Anyone have that story linked here recently where the mother fucked her son's 13 year old friend and blackmailed him too? She served 3 of her 6 year sentence and is on the sex offender list until NEXT FUCKING YEAR. For knowingly fucking and blackmailing a 13 year old boy multiple times. This guy's life is ruined for 25 fucking years??

As a sex offender, he’d be forbidden from owning a smartphone or using the Internet for the next five years, talking to anyone younger than 17 (aside from immediate family), going anywhere that serves alcohol, and being away from home past 8pm every night.

No smartphone or internet usage for 5 years? WHAT THE FUCK? So he's basically fucked as far as a job or school or anything? His life is over? He seriously might commit suicide over this. This is INSANE. And I find it ironic that he can't even speak to certain people and they chose the age of 17 to rub that in. AND he has a curfew.

Had they not successfully appealed the decision, this guy's life would have been completely over. Unless he could leave the country, they would have effectively driven him to homelessness and suicide as punishment. As it is, his "lighter" sentence is still a fucking insult.

MALE PRIVILEGE!

[–]TheMGhandi 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

I doubt anyone will see this out of a sea of comments, but I'll still shove my dick right in here.

The real question we should be asking is, why is a 14-year-old girl on an app to hook-up with adult men and why would her mother defend a so-called accused man? I'll paint a picture for you here: An early bloomer follows the footsteps of her attractive mother OR a bad influence from friends.

But I do know one fact throughout history that will never change, now or in the future: mothers will never go against their children unless they think it's for the child's own good. So here we have a "judge" who thinks little of the mother's testimony when in fact it makes this an "open and shut case Johnson".

Going back to history, remember when men would raid villages? I don't think women of today have forgotten, and now it's our turn to be pillaged and raped. We are all just a harvest to them and there are knights everywhere just waiting on a voice command "He did this to me...cue tears".

Understand that acting lessons won't help men as much, only a shrewd mind will, and the sad thing is most of society and those reading this comment are stupid. Accept it and maybe you'll never get in a similar circumstance as the 'child kidnapper'.

I went to Atlantic City with my brother and his friends for bachelor party, one of them was getting married. We stayed at this hotel/casino. While out hunting for poon and good times in the casino area and where the cubs are, my bro and his friends found this small group of young sloots (short ass shorts, tanks, flip flops/flats). I was doing my own thing, practicing some RP, approaching by myself, and going to the different bats by myself. I end up finding them back near a waterfall.

Now, me knowing better, I asked the sloots their age and they all say 18. I'm skeptical. Myl bro and his friends we're into them, trying to "game" them back into coming back to our suite. They're dancing together, my bro picks up one of the sloots by her ass cheeks and I'm watching as her shorts get pulled so far up from the hug that pussy lips are gonna pop out soon. She's smiling, loving the attention, her ass is in the air, my bro and his friends are cheering, I'm just observing everyone. Now, I could tell by the looks on the girl's faces that they were happy, happy because of the attention they were getting. It dawned me right then for sure that they were minors. Keep in mind that my bro and his friends are like 30, 29,27,27. It's getting to a point where people sitting around the waterfall fountain start to look at us, in a funny way though.

I keep my distance, sill observing, gaming these two chicks sitting at a slot machine. Fnally, I hear the boys calling me over. But, when I started to game those chicks at the machines we got into talking about our ages. And they told me they were 16 and 17, but I knew better because by their faces I could tell they were approaching the wall at Mach speed due to their heavy drinking and slooting around. So I call them out on their bullshit and they fold after a while, they said they wanted to see my reaction. I figured that they saw me with the boys and were testing if I was a predator too. I knew then and there that I had to go save these dudes.

I walk back right when my brother's group and the girl's left the fountain area, they were headed to their rooms. The girls were down for some fun. They stop by some machines just fucking about, giving some LLLMR, and I catch up to them.

I then pull my brother and the bachelor aside telling them to check the sloots for ID before they get in our room. My brother said "They said they were 18 bro, don't worry". His friend started quiet. I Keep telling them both that they NEED to ask for ID (Also, we were talking in our native language, but ID still sounds like ID). I guess the rest of the group must have caught a little ear in the conversation and one of my bro's friends comes over asking what is up. I explain and he agrees. My brother says it's unnecessary. I tell him I won't be visiting anyone in prison anytime soon. There's a back and forth between the 4 of us now. Let me also say that as soon as that friend came over asking what was up after maybe having heard the word ID from afar, three of the girls suddenly had to use the bathroom.

We waited 6-15mn and they never came back. Their friends went looking for them after a while and didn't come back either. I knew what was happening, they didn't want to be IDd so they bailed. It's about 2AM at this point, and I tell the boys we need to get back on the hunt and that the girls aren't coming back. They said they'll wait. At that point I was already super tired since I was in the gym going super hard earlier that day and I didn't get my calories in, I'm ready to call it a night. I split from the group and start walking towards the clubs/bars area, two of the boys followed.

I ended up at a 3 venues within the following hour, danced a bit but couldn't bring any home because of shit wingmanship. I get stuck with 2 chicks, one dtf sexy HB7 and her fat friend who she just wouldn't leave. I kept making signals to the boys requesting someone to take the fatty but they didn't understand.

At around 3:30 or so I called it a night. Clubs were still going off but I knew nothing was gonna happen that night. Went back to our room and I knocked out. The next morning the boys tell me that they did see one of the girls again and she apologized, I laughed.

[–]Hydris 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

should’ve been smarter about the whole thing and perhaps requested proof of the girl’s age, in the form of a driver’s license or the like, before having sex.

Like that matters. There have been cases where a legal ID is not enough. I believe there was a story in florida about a girl who managed to get a STATE ID stating she was 21 when she was 15 by mistake of the state. Met a guy in a bar, had sex with him and he was charged with statutory rape.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

of course the sexual dynamics of humans as it has evolved over 100,000 years is ignored, this is simply the case where the power lies only in old people, who have different priorities to young, and they impose their own ideas on young people using the power of the state.

This is why i don't use these apps. I'm 18 and women older than me aren't attracted to younger guys and girls younger than me (17) can lie about their age since a 15 year old could easily pass as a 17 yr old. Same with an "18 yr" old she could be 16 (age of consent here is 17). How do i prevent this from happening? It's not like I'm gonna say "can i see ur ID pls."

I don't know. If logic is a factor I'd think they'd both be convicted. If you want to change the law so a 17 year old hooking up with a 16 year old (or 14 year old) isn't fire and brimstone that's another issue. Can't just fuck a child and say she didn't have ID and she said she was legal.

Logic? By what logic did he do anything wrong?

[–]Endorsed ContributorFLFTW16 -1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

This could happen to anyone. In fact it happened to me. When I was in college I hooked up with a girl and outright asked her if she was a legal adult, 18 or over. She answered yes. After we fucked turns out nah she was 17, she lied to me because she didn't want to scare me off. There was no way to tell. The girl was more sexually experienced than me, had sex toys and had an attitude that alluded to maturity. She was 17 going on 25, but somehow I would have been seen as the creeper.

Women lie. That's the take home message. Young girls like to fuck, it's what nature designed them for. Fucking fit older men and making healthy babies. That is their purpose and they will fulfill their biological destiny no matter what the government does to stop it.

The young man got a raw deal. He should escape the United States of Faggotry and come to Thailand where he can fuck, go out after 8pm, drink beers, use the internet and smart phones, and just live his life. The US is a plantation and men are the slaves.
