This week I accomplished my dream of bringing my trolling to national television. If it wasn't for the Red Pill, and its culture of shitlord excellence my dream would never have become a reality. For the past two years you guys were by my side critiquing, encouraging and helping me grow from cultural critic to Black Knight Juggernaut. I've had the unique opportunity of speaking with many of you face to face and learning from your experiences.

When the producers of Full Frontal with Samantha Bee contacted me to be part of their show, I immediately recognized it for what it was: a trap. Samantha Bee has been tearing people down on television for the past twelve years. Having watched the Daily Show I knew that gotcha questions and deceptive editing were par for the course. I also knew that without preparation I would end up a casualty like Peter Schiff.

However, I had a weapon of my own: The Red Pill. I leveraged the contacts I had gained from my fitness consultations. I contacted marketers, advertisers and speech coaches to help me develop a strategy for surviving the ambush. The consensus was that I should speak in short powerful sound bites, so that my words wouldn't fall victim to deceptive editing. I was advised to keep a calm neutral demeanor, ignore her bait and that the best defense is a good offense. My mentors imitated Samantha's persona so that I could practice going up against it. I knew that I only had one shot, one opportunity, to seize everything I ever wanted, which I why I practiced until I felt confident.

On the show, with the cameras rolling and the microphones on, I recognized that the other guests were unprepared. They were enthusiastic to be on television and didn't think how their words would be used against them. Samantha Bee had a two part strategy. She had a script of loaded trap question and reframed the conversation in her favor with snarky responses. My strategy was to avoid her traps and use agree and amplify to turn her snark against her. Samantha was ready to tear down Trump supporters but nothing could prepare her for Red Pill Superstar GayLubeOil.

There are times in life when you have a shot at winning big by playing a stacked game. Maybe its a nailing television appearance. Maybe its negotiating a promotion. Maybe its winning a divorce. Or maybe its just pulling hypergamous sluts off Tinder. The Red Pill is an invaluable resource that can help you accomplish any of these noble tasks. It is a collection of the experiences of 140 thousand men. There will always be someone here to help you. You just have to find them.

All the recaps I've seen have concentrated on the 'Tricke Down Media Whore' headshot and skip the very important observation that the presidential election has degenerated into a reality show; which was presented as the only thing that could be agreed upon. Moreover, Bee used whore first at Trump, and then reveled in calling herself a whore.

In short, anybody that watched the entire clip would say Bee got checked hard. As it is, the media is packaging it as a failure to reason with Trump supporters.

She was. Nobody lost. But GLO wasn't in a position to win.

This was rigged. The script, the editing, the entire set up were crafted to make the Trump supporters look stupid and the interviewer look the smart proxy of her clever liberal audience.

GLO couldn't win. If he had won too much of the sparring match, he would simply have been edited out. There was no way for him to deliver a smackdown even if he could come up with one in the moment. He could only put in a zinger that she'd leave in because it makes for good television and decent rabble-rousing ("he called her a WHORE!"), but still make some of audience do a double take and think "hey, this guy has a point".

That's what he achieved. He didn't kick her ass because he couldn't have. But he did achieve as much as was possible in the (difficult) circumstances, and that is what's masterful about this.

By using the term bukkake, Sam is trying to reframe herself as a willing and active participant in the sex act, the focal point even. She did amplify it in a destabilizing way, but that's the brilliance of a "persona". The persona is who the audience is supposed to identify with, so when these personas come to some deeper understanding of themselves, it's funny in an endearing way (even if it is that she finally realizes she's a media whore).

There is no alternative. That's why they work so well. You can't beat them, you just manage to make the audience go through some sense of understanding along with the persona. GLO is not the star of the show, the persona is. But he certainly wasn't another pebble that got steamrolled by the persona, he managed to make the steamroller turn off, even if just for a second (or for the rest of the clip until the party).

You could, and people do. Think of the men who've tried standup and failed to break through that lowbrow barrier though (Dane Cook and Carlos Mencia come to mind). These male comedians aren't respected in the comedy circles, and they likely won't ever be considered one of comedy's "greats"- they're loudmouths pandering to audiences who watch TV shows with laugh tracks. Let their career play out and they'll peak with a movie or two under the belt and a better-funded coke habit.

When you put in the work, honing your craft over decades, meeting other comics along the way who aren't afraid to give your sets criticism, and you actually learn the craft, things happen. Your comedy changes. Take Louis C.K. for example. Here's a clip of him not even telling a fart joke, just describing why he thinks farts can be funny:

Yes, I do NOT think Samantha is a good comedian that deserves many awards, but I certainly think she's funny in this segment.

Carlos Mencia is probably the worst comedian in US history.

Dane Cook achieved quite big arenas back when he was popular before it got repetitive. His humor was mostly about delivery not content though.

It's hard to find greatness like Louis C.K. though.

Not really. I can think of ton male comedians I like who would never say a dick joke. That's the point. Sure, there are low brow male comedians (Larry the Cable Guy) that play off lame stereotypes. The point is that the vast majority of women comedians are just female versions of Larry the Cable Guy, except instead of "Git 'er Done!" it's "OMG I HAVE A VAGINA!!"

I'm replying to your "any man could say any dicknjoke wtf?" comment. Not what led to the set up of this specific instance of this specific woman making a whore joke.

In general far too many female comics rest on their labias and just cynically make "shocking" "I'm a whore!!!! It's funny cause it's considered shameful but I act so proud of it! What a clever bait and switch I made!" It can be funny yes, was this funny? Yes, but so many female comics have next to no other material about anything.

Are there male comics that make a lot dick and sex jokes? Of course! All jokes have the potential to be funny, but if more than half their routine is just body parts humor they fade away from the spotlight a lot faster then their female counterparts.

The Amy Schumer comment is a dig on how tired her schtick is than whoever we are talking about now.

Then GLO went full serious mode but I don't think anyone who is watching would have noticed that as a joke, because you're not expecting a person who is being polled/interviewed to be making a joke. I certainly thought he was not that funny because I had seen the video before I saw this post. But now that we can see he was trolling, so it became a bit more funny. It was really Samantha's bukkake joke that was the funny part so we really have to appreciate GLO for bringing that out of her.

I think its very telling that GLO showed that he took steps to prepare for this, to prevent getting caught offgaurd and afterward came out of the situation looking good. It's not really about "redpill vs bluepill" it's just that it was a funny exchange and it was worth watching the whole video. Samantha Bee shouldn't be hated on like as if she messed up or something.

She was genuinely funny (usually I don't find her funny). I don't think she's that talented, but GLO didn't really do that much (can't blame GLO because it's a heavily edited short exchange segment. I'm sure GLO is more funny in real life than that short segment showed.)

For argument's sake, even if she is funnier, shouldn't she be? She does this shit day in day out. It's her fucking career. She's been at it decades. A relative novice comes in with a couple weeks prep and completely derails her attack, and she retreats in "humor". Aside from that, she gets the benefit of editing everything. The most he can hope for is her including something that he looks relatively ok in, because in the process she said something amusing. I doubt they included all the zingers he made that she had no response for. I wouldn't be surprised if in the clip of GLO there was much more time between his words and her response that was edited out to make her look more like she had quick response.

All the recaps I've seen have concentrated on the 'Trickle Down Media Whore' headshot and skip the very important observation that the presidential election has degenerated into a reality show; which was presented as the only thing that could be agreed upon. Moreover, Bee used whore first at Trump, and then reveled in calling herself a whore.

In short, anybody that watched the entire clip would say Bee got checked hard. As it is, the media is packaging it as a failure to reason with Trump supporters.

This wasn't a grand victory, but it is evidence of personal improvement, his growth in his charismatic ability.
