Red Pill ExampleDon't get married. It's a trap. (self.TheRedPill)

submitted by johnbranflake

I'm a software developer fresh out of college 22-25. Working on a team of five people currently and the advice here of "don't get married in today's day and age" couldn't be more clearly illustrated than by my coworkers.

The team lead is a patriarch, he's married but is mid 50s and appears to wear the pants. He goes hunting and fishing with his buddies regularly and is a firm but rewarding leader. Clearly though 30 years ago was a vastly different time to get married.

Now we have the betas, beta number 1 is mid thirties with two kids. He's an amazingly talented developer and his time is constantly sought by many different teams. He doesn't take vacation time so that he can work more overtime to support his wife who get this, doesn't work, yet they still take one of their kids to daycare because "she can't handle it" yet this guy never says that he can't handle his gargantuan workload. he just works harder.

Betas 2 and 3 are identical. They are about 27, recently married. The other day I heard them complaining about their wives not letting them buy a gaming keyboard, and a new tv respectively. They probably make about 10 - 15k base more than me, yet they can't afford toys which I have because of their wives leeching their money. they also haven't taken a vacation all year, and work overtime almost every week.

I go on vacations all the time. I make more than enough money to save for a house and retirement and still have my toys without working overtime. All because I'm a healthy young and SINGLE man. I'm no Chad (yet) but I still can manage to date a few women at a time and I can tell that I am much happier than my overworked and stressed colleagues.

So if you want to work your ass off so that you can go home to the same complaining woman every day and do nothing fun, get married.

[–]ransay3277 450 points451 points  (74 children)

Good for you. One word of advice. When it comes to your personal life at work... Keep your mouth shut. Aside from your well grounded team lead, your coworkers could end up being your greatest backstabbers. Your life contradicts your coworkers life choices and that is a recipe for career sabotage. Put yourself in Beta 1's shoes. Your pumping and dumping different woman, have lots of nice gadgets and still have more cash than he has. He has a lazy ass wife and two kids. They bleed him dry and he probably comes home hoping his better half has caught a heart attack. He can't dump her lest he be taken to the cleaners at the divorce. Same goes for Beta 2 and 3. They are being bled dry with no end in sight. These guys are probably harboring some serious envy for you. That could screw your career in ways that you will never even know about till years later. "johnbranflake? Oh he's OK... Just doesn't seem too focused." (Of course hes not focused on spending every waking hour at the job. He has a life he loves. He doesn't have some size 16 bleeding him dry.) So keep your personal life separate, and when they ask you why your not married yet. Look solemnly at the floor and say I just haven't found the right one yet. But when I do, I'm going to snap her up big time.

[–]johnbranflake[S] 248 points249 points  (53 children)

Thanks for the tip. I made the mistake of bragging about buying a tv and a keyboard without having to get permission and they definitely were not amused.

Think as you like but behave like others

That's law 38.

You don't want to imagine the pain I went through before internalizing at one.

[–]enkae7317 11 points12 points  (8 children)

Where is this from may I ask?

[–]BPasFuck 21 points22 points  (3 children)

48 laws of power, by Robert Greene.

It's not 100% red pill, but it offers a lot of insight into dysfunctional behaviors on the job and other places.

It's on kindle or whatever other e-reader you might have access to. Pick it up.

I would reduce the family man's raise. Its not like he can quit.

[–]rave_n 97 points98 points  (7 children)

Beautiful. Shitlord of the day.

Nope. Just standard business tactics.

The anarchist/communist/socialist subs are desperately trying to doxx everyone on this thread. :3

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan 5 points6 points  (2 children)

I'd split the raise unevenly. Like 20/80 or 25/75.

Why? Because the family man can't just quit but if you make his life miserable enough he'll start looking elsewhere or a job and he might find an awesome job that pays way more than you can afford (because now they have experience and training from your company) and it's easier and cheaper to retain the talent you have than to source new talent.

[–]Lsegundo 3 points4 points  (1 child)

family guy doesn't have time to interview for another job. He works alot of overtime to pay for daycare because his fat lazy wife can't handle two kids at once.

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Everyone has a breaking point. Give someone enough motivation and they'll find a way to apply and interview for other jobs. Besides most jobs don't offer overtime because overtime is very expensive to employers.

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Damn, that's something I never thought about.

[–]TryDoingSomethingNew 69 points70 points  (2 children)

This is true. Betas are weak bitches, and weak bitches are cowards who use authority figures/anonymous complaints as warfare against men they despise.

Anonymous beta snitches make me rage beyond belief. It's probably better to simply avoid the possibility (as much as you can). The temptation to smash one of them in the face is far too much for me, I fear.

Insecure pussies get smug sense of satisfaction by getting "revenge" back at men they don't like. I use quote marks because it's revenge by proxy, as bitches do.

I think we've heard enough horror stories here that we don't need one more (you!).

[–]JeremyHall 18 points19 points  (3 children)

No really bro. Let them know as little as possible. Make a game of it. My high score was when I quit my last job and my direct supervisor didn't know until a week later.

Reverse notice, son!

[–]Endorsed ContributorRedBigMan 12 points13 points  (1 child)

Really? You're better off getting a reputation for being professional and making a proper exit from a position than burning bridges by just not showing up for shifts for a week. Just having a decent references can help you get your next job more easily when people sing your praises.

Of course that's assuming the job was something more important than burger flipper minimum wage type job that treats you like shit.

[–]tldrtldrtldr 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Man, seriously write this down. This happens and happened to me. People live shitty lives. They will hate you. I learned this the hard way

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (9 children)

Yeah, I mean you can talk about if you traveled somewhere, but don't go too much into specifics, unless it's something not too crazy, like "I saw a professional soccer game while in spain." Don't tell them about how you went to Thailand and got hookers, which I definitely want to do sometime in my life.

Especially with things you bought like the TV and keyboard.

[–]thehonestdouchebag 4 points5 points  (3 children)

If you're ever in Bangkok, skip Nana if you're looking for girls and head straight to Annie's. Trust me.

[–]trpthrowaway1852 1 point2 points  (1 child)

I don't know man, Nana has 3 levels of gogo and beer bars, seems like a pretty good to check it out. I'm looking forward to check it out when I get there in Oct.

[–][deleted] 43 points44 points  (0 children)

this cannot be understated. Everyone needs to understand that your coworkers are not your friends, even if you think they are. I'm not saying it's impossible to make good friends at work, but it's usually not worth the risk. Your mindset should always be that everything you say can and will be repeated to others. People are fucking assholes in the workplace, no ifs, ands, and buts about it

[–]blackhawks93 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Muhahaha this is great advice. Play the victim and get sympathy for not finding a girl to marry haha.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Your life contradicts your coworkers life choices

all too often, people make HUGE investments in shitty life choices (marriage, liberal arts degrees, generating mountains of debt), and when they finally have to face the consequences, they act like it's now such a large problem that it's insurmountable, and it's not worth climbing back out of the depths of hell.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

BIG ONE right here. This shit is valuable. And it doesn't have to be civilian companies either. It applies to any industry.

[–]pointguard2534 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just chiming in to say this is goddamn great advice, thank you.

[–]rossiFan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Absolutely prime advice. OTOH... be ready to preach some redpill without letting them know what it is.

[–]jeezydasnowman 37 points38 points  (2 children)

The career beta is needed to drive society forward. Let go or be dragged.

[–]coffee_and_lumber 27 points27 points [recovered]

Which enables the enlightened man to have even more freedom to live his life as he pleases. Maybe we need to appreciate and support the worker bees a bit more.

[–]tio1w 71 points72 points  (16 children)

Beta 1 could have been me.

Dodged several bullets...

[–]Polaris382 51 points52 points  (2 children)

That whole "wife doesnt work, but they still have a kid in daycare" part just blows my mind. Fucking worthless.

[–]1v1mebruh 33 points34 points  (1 child)

[–]AttackOnKvothe 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]GodLikeVelociraptor 12 points12 points [recovered]

Beta 1 was me to a tee. Let my (now ex) wife stay at home while I worked my ass off. Living in general was a chore for her. No kids and didn't clean. Having been raised Evangelical Christian I always believed I should just work harder and harder and "take it like a man."

I still work my ass off--for people who appreciate it and work their asses off as well. This means I'm well into a seven figure salary. People around me know how I expect to be treated and know I will not tolerate bullshit.

[–]cs50noob 9 points9 points [recovered]

What are you doing to have 7 figure sallary?

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I count mine in cents. Viola!

[–]fleeb-juice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm curious too because I work at a multi-billion dollar company and none of the top executives have a 7-figure salary (though some of them get 7 figures in bonuses).

[–]ModeratorPaperStreetVilla 30 points31 points  (6 children)

Summary: Read the manipulated man

Example that's expressed better in that book than anywhere

[–]RedPillFreedom 17 points18 points  (5 children)

Just finished it today.

That book should be a mandatory read it makes digesting TRP easy. Women are absolute vile creatures. I look at each man as a slave. We aren't even past the days of the Egyptian Pharaoh's. The women are now on top and men are slaves to their whims.

The biggest thing that gets me is "how the fuck can no one see it?!". Seriously, this community is the only safe haven for speaking and not being censored. Yeah, I know the whole take advantage of the people that are blind. But, it still amazes me that there are only 100,000 people on the planet that are aware of this.

Edit: Biggest Takeaways: easier to hold frame, women aren't even children, they are the baboons that throw shit at your car at the safari. No wonder it's called shit testing. I really thought TRP was becoming a little more aware and enlightened. But, this is ridiculous. It's actually the "RED PILL". We are actually in the Matrix. People refuse to acknowledge any of this.

[–]LukesLikeIt 8 points9 points  (2 children)

You're talking like they're evil and out to get you. It's just people living the lives they're taught to and for which they are emotionally and socially inclined, not inherently good but not bad either. The reason you should be mad is because you have been misled and beaten so far in the "game". Well now you know the score so use it to your advantage.

[–]ModeratorPaperStreetVilla 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It would be great if they were, then it's a conflict. Guys are good at that.

Instead, the world is largely indifferent, and doing what it does for it's own ends. This is why all that selfless behaviour turns you into a plow horse. People will take what you give them, not their fault you didn't put a price on yourself

[–]joeyjojosharknado 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I understand the anger though. The table has been tilted way in their favour and that really sucks (particularly since they haven't earned it). But, yeah, it is what it is. Got to deal with the world as it is, not how you think it should be.

[–]2renzy77 89 points90 points  (9 children)

They probably make about 10 - 15k base more than me, yet they can't afford toys which I have because of their wives leeching their money.

You know how they say married men make more money than their single counterparts?

Well, this is why: they have to in order to keep up with the bills.

They try to portray it as a "benefit" for men ("Married men make more money!). But really it's like saying that going into debt is a benefit, because now you'll be forced to work overtime to pay it off.

[–]nodoxsavefreespeech 19 points19 points [recovered]

haha no doubt

It's a "benefit" to be an indentured servant.

[–]Thevoleman 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Benefit to the feminist narrative for sure.

[–]Jigsus 2 points3 points  (4 children)

That pragerU video comes to mind

[–]TRP VanguardArchwinger 18 points19 points  (0 children)

This is sage advice.

The only thing more expensive than divorce is marriage.

[–]1StinkyDiaper 108 points109 points  (16 children)

I got married prior to finding the red pill. My wife, however, spent the first 6 years of her life in Haiti, where the value of hard work and a non-cushioned life was learned.

She cooks, cleans, is amazing with the children, and likes to be submissive - just as her non-American parents taught her to be. She loves when I take control in decision making, and also in the bedroom.

Would it be fun to slut around with my newfound skills with the ladies I've gained via theredpill? Sure - absolutely. I'd love to try it. But, truth is, many American women are only good for a lay. As wives, many are just terrible, and are overflowing with emotional issues.

I'm aware that AWALT, and that I must stay on my game to prevent her from leaving me in the same way my mother left my father. But, for those of you out there who are married, there are definitely ways to make it work and ways to be happy within marriage.

[–][deleted] 45 points45 points

[permanently deleted]

[–]1StinkyDiaper 26 points27 points  (1 child)

It's very true - and also applies to many U.S. born males as well.

[–]cubicpolynomial3 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Hence the increased effemination of American boys -- so many of us act privileged instead of becoming men and making our lives.

[–]mrchitecture 9 points10 points  (2 children)

This^ AWALT But the cultural difference give them such a difference attitude that I would only consider marrying a foreign chick like my current gf. She works now and and wants to start her own business one day, and basically worships me. I know woman change after marriage but the amount of change shes capable of is different. She's never ridden the CC and before coming here has spent her whole life working hard to get good grades/scholarships her degree and work experience. I've seen the posts about Stop sucking Asian pussy and specifically in Korea the Kimchi woman phenomena, but one thing you have to understand is during high school after school ends they go to academy for 4 hours and then get home around late at around 9-10, so they really don't have as much time to fuck around like we do here, and on top of that even though they are modernizing underage sexual activity is very taboo.

[–]TightMouthLarry 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Asian women will fuck your shit up just as badly as western women.

[–]Polaris382 7 points8 points  (7 children)

Yep, my LTR is Haitian (dont remember how old she was when they immigrated I want to say 7 or 9) - a lot of very good qualities that you would be hard pressed to find in your typical American women.

[–]1StinkyDiaper 1 point2 points  (6 children)

Oh yeah? That's awesome! :)

I joined her church - I'm the only non-Haitian there and, as a white male, I stick right out lol. The congregation has been so good to me.

Are you learning Creole, as I'm working on?

[–]Polaris382 1 point2 points  (1 child)

No, but I may eventually...as much as I dislike trying to learn other languages, I feel like a simpleton only knowing one and obviously having the convenience of a native speaker would come in handy to change that.

Her mother goes to church something like 6 days a week and twice on Sunday, or something crazy like that. She lives in Connecticut and we live in Cali though. Not really my thing, but always good to have a network like you mentioned.

[–]Forcetobereckonedwit 33 points34 points  (2 children)

"So if you want to work your ass off so that you can go home to the same complaining woman every day and do nothing fun, get married."

Don't forget that while you're at work all day, she's gargling Chad's swill.

[–]Orig_analUse_rname 12 points13 points  (1 child)

Especially the beta boy whos wife is board all day while the little one is in daycare. You think she isn't gonna find the freetime to cheat?

I've learned after realizing how horrible women are about 5 years ago, that being "alone" and slightly bummed here and there while still Fucking hot girls and not having to deal with the "girlfriend shit" is so much better than having a girlfriend who on paper is supposed to contribute and Fuck you and cook for you. It never happens that way. I have dreams of all men uniting and boycotting women all together so they finally take a Fucking hint and get their shit together and act like humans. But that's isn't possible because there will always be a beta to take care of them. Always....

[–]1Ill_mumble_that 106 points107 points  (36 children)

I gotta say. Not all women are horrible.

But it relies, heavily, heavily. Fuck it, it relies ENTIRELY on her father figure in her life. If the dad is a beta bitch or non-existent in her life, the girl is a wreck and I want nothing but her pussy.

My SO's father and I are best friends, and he's rp as fk. Raised his daughter pretty much without the mom's help, explains a lot.

But AWALT. The good father figure just makes things a lot easier for you because you don't have to be the daddy and the chad. I'm not looking forward to when he passes away and my relationship with her exponentially becomes more difficult but thankfully that's many years away.

[–]Endorsed ContributorBluepillProfessor 74 points75 points  (33 children)

Well it is fortunate that our society so heavily favors good fathers. Oh wait...

[–]2renzy77 13 points14 points  (0 children)

And fortunate that the rates of illegitimacy and single-motherhood are on the decline. Oh wait...

[–]Literallyoprah 54 points55 points  (31 children)

I mean, we have an entire generation of black fathers literally enslaved to the for-profit prison system. That worked out real well for the black community, right?

[–]ReadyToMolestYou 34 points35 points  (5 children)

The welfare system began destroying the nuclear family in America long before the drug war did. I'm sure they both contribute.

[–]sd4c 35 points36 points  (36 children)

Male birth control will help. It will slightly lower the SMV of all women, because we'll be able to bang whoever we want, without that horrible dread of "just what if the condom slips in this fatty". It will take away one of women's favorite traps, the "accidental" pregnancy- which leads to having to see their slowly aging face for the next 18 years.

[–][deleted] 29 points30 points  (30 children)

I swear man. I am 25 and just praying that the Vaselgel comes out in a few years. I am considering a vasectomy in a few years, but vaselgel is supposed to be safer and all that. Plus it's supposed to be reversable. Although I don't want kids.

[–]sd4c 27 points28 points  (18 children)

Expect it to be politically blocked for a while because most voters are female. They know there are no accidental pregnancies. You can't slip into a dick. And if you think you might, women have 18 forms of birth control. If I thought a guy was going to fuck ME, I'd want spermicide, maybe napalm up there and I can't even get pregnant

[–]forcevacum 7 points7 points [recovered]

Please can we stop this bullshit. There is no grounds for this hard-on you guys have for playing the victim card that women are going to stop this. How do you have a vote to stop a product? What the fuck does voting have with bringing a product to market?

[–]Jigsus 30 points31 points  (4 children)

The same way they made paternity tests illegal in France

[–]trpthrowaway1852 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Wait, so some dumb cunt whom you pump and dump can sue your ass for child support? Without paternity test, how can men defend themselves in the court?

[–]Jigsus 5 points6 points  (1 child)

It's more complicated than that. The law is to protect married women who are unfaithful. More than 1 in 4 children in france are not biologically related to their official fathers so the state feared that these men would leave. The mothers and kids would then apply for welfare and cost the state a lot of money. So they outlawed paternity testing.

Yes this also means that you can get nailed for child support from a pump and dump if you don't have a good lawyer but this being france she's more likely to pursue state help for child support. Unmarried women usually get help from the state. If you are rich enough to be worth pursuing even if you're not married then you can afford a good lawyer that will drag you lawsuit through the courts of ther EU countries so you can get a paternity test done there. This is very complex but sometimes worth it.

[–]redzorp 18 points19 points  (2 children)

It's not bullshit. Female activists lobby politicians to pass anti-male laws all the time. This sub has recorded innumerable examples over the years.

[–]forcevacum 12 points13 points  (1 child)

"It removes the burden of women taking a hormone changing drug". There. Simple, I've just spun the PR story into one that benefits women. We are men, we are resourceful, this is going to happen so stop worrying and go and donate to them.

[–]juliusstreicher 6 points7 points  (0 children)

"It removes the burden of women taking a hormone changing drug".

Top of the line logic. Need any more reasons why it will not come to pass???

[–]2popthatpill 8 points9 points  (0 children)

How do you have a vote to stop a product?

You don't need to. These things get blocked behind the scenes. Ever wonder why male contraceptive research never attracts much research or funding? No-one voted on that, either.

[–]sd4c 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Clinton's about to be elected Presidentette, and the FDA will belong to her and her alone

[–]frankgrimes5 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She escaped prison but it's starting to look more like she end up in the nut house than the white house. She's having all kinds of health issues.

[–]TryDoingSomethingNew 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Maybe not voting, but lobbying, and so forth, I can see that as being an issue.

Don't forget the Hobby Lobby bullshit.

[–]Banned_For_Opinion 2 points3 points  (8 children)

I heard that will never come out (in the states) becuase there is no money in it. Injections are like 12 bucks and they take no time, there is nothing big pharma can make off of it so they will do what they can to not allow it here. That's just what I've read, other than that the shit sounds amazing. I'm 30 now and 99% sure I don't want kids, I'm getting very close to a vasectomy to cut down on the games bitches have the option to play with me.

[–]forcevacum 7 points8 points  (2 children)

Bullshit. Viagra costs far less than a cent per pill to make. It's the research that costs money. If might just be 12 dollars but 200 in doctors fees excluding the product markup. With your rational vascectomies would never be performed but they are on a big scale. There is a market for it and it will be sold.

[–]polyspastos 13 points14 points  (2 children)

Dont fuck fatties. It propagates the wrong message.

[–]forcevacum 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I one-night-stand girls a few notches below my SMV because I don't have to deal with the bullshit that comes with a HB9 and it's better than fapping myself to porn. Each to their own.

[–]TheOneTrueMagnet 3 points3 points [recovered]

How the fuck will male birth control lower female smv? It will be the same as it is now except you will have a slightly lower chance of getting raped by the child support system afterwords.

[–]sd4c 5 points6 points  (0 children)

By raising the utility of chubby women. It's not just the child support rape, it's the horror and embarrassment of being tied to an ugly/overweight woman for 20 years

[–]MoneyStatusLooks 20 points20 points [recovered]

Fuck you and cook for you

I never have sex deteriorate in my relationships... but... in the beginning stages I definitely notice them go out there way to help you, cook for you, do some stuff for you.

Then they get used to you, get entitled and all that shit stops. It's got nothing to do with my behaviour, women just grow entitled and comfortable the longer a relationship goes on. I imagine it gets much worse when you get married and leaving is no longer an option (unless you are cool for serious negative financial consequences).

[–]Banned_For_Opinion 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Marriage is an excuse for women to stop trying. You've won if you're a woman and you found someone to marry you. worst case scenario is you get divorced and paid off. Best case, the poor sap takes care of you your whole life as you bitch and complain as much as you want.

[–]BluestBlackBalls 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Familiarity breeds contempt. Goes both ways. Also sounds like you are shooting down her abundance mentality.

[–]etotheitauequalsone 14 points15 points  (4 children)

it's all a giant collective shit test, and we 'civilized' men are losing

[–]Banned_For_Opinion 21 points22 points  (1 child)

We are losing the shit test as a whole, but I still feel being an attractive male has the best payouts in the long run. Especially if you have a good work ethic and people skills. Women are just roadblocks along the way. I think the hard part for most men is figuring that out. Don't give everything you've worked for away because you have a warm body sleeping next to you that touches your dick every once in a while. Those are everywhere, go find another one. Now I'm just rambling, my apologies XD

[–]chance01 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't apologize for what you say is true. If more men would dump, Next the chicks that treat them shitty, and/or don't add value, we would see some real positive female behavior changes.

[–]FeatherClad 6 points6 points [recovered]

So I thought after reading the red pill and seeing AWALT in real life that i'd just be single forever...

So I recently found a girl:

  • virgin, to the nth degree, never had a boyfriend, never had anyone see her naked, shes never even kissed a boy.

  • comes from a small traditional European town.

  • loves to cook, especially for me. Does so often. She said she likes to be rewarded by being fucked when she makes a good meal.

  • is the most submissive girl i've ever seen.

  • is athletic and healthy.

  • Apologizes profusely whenever she speaks over me accidentally and when she met my father she stayed quiet, listening to the man of the house.

  • Has nicely shaped and great feeling D sized breasts with a narrow waist and really nice hips.

  • is soft, caring, supportive and is comfortable with me not sharing anything that i'm feeling with her.

  • said she likes that I'm her emotional rock, the bulwark to her tempest

  • she has quoted before and recently Ralph Waldo Emerson after sex while laying together.

  • wants to be led by me.

  • is incredibly afraid of me leaving her since i've made it clear that if I get any shit whatsoever from her i'm fucking done.

  • has a great relationship with her father who's a traditional patriarch, is a teacher of economics in the small town they live in, he is transitioning into politics and leadership and management of the towns resources.

  • she is fine with me fucking other girls as long as I stay with her.

  • is not a feminist. I told her i'll never marry her because who I fuck/love is my business alone, not the governments or the churches (even though we're both christian.) She agrees and has pointed out that the modern western women she's seen while travelling are disgusting.

  • she respects and recognizes that men built modern society, she's fascinated by creations of men like large buildings or complex and gorgeous cars like american muscle cars or super fast drag cars or teslas. She skates with me.

Tell me... Unicorn?

When you're on your death bed and she's still by your side and she hadn't fucked anyone else or stabbed you in the back or raked your name through the mud can you, and only then can you, call her a unicorn or an outlier.

[–]Banned_For_Opinion 23 points24 points  (16 children)

I'm too busy not believing you to provide you with an answer ;-D

But seriously, good for you man. I still wouldn't wife her up though, just keep her FOREVER!!!!!!!

[–]FeatherClad 8 points8 points [recovered]

I wouldnt wife any woman up. ever. Not with how marriage is set up today. The only outcomes are failure and misery.

Yeah, I guess it is hard to believe some random fuck on the internet.

She was probably my best approach too, I was out skating, I saw her, I conquered.

I have a hard time believing a girl like this exists myself since I live somewhere where short haired, fat, disturbingly ugly women are not strange or a rare occasion. Where every girl has daddy issues. I just assumed that the women I've read about in fiction are that... fiction. Except the alpha men described in fiction do exist. Either way I'm really happy with her and her company is an incredible tool for replenishing my energy and calmness.

[–]Banned_For_Opinion 8 points9 points  (14 children)

The only stigma I have for women like this is I just assume they will get comfortable and used to the america female lifestyle and eventually just start acting like a typical female. That's also most likely my paranoia talking.

[–]sd4c 5 points6 points  (8 children)

Trust, but verify. If she's young enough to be a virgin, she hasn't been acculturated by western society's perverse materialism and female narcissism. There's still time for that to take place. AWALT. And also, extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. Can she prove she's never had a BF? Can she prove she's a virgin?

Absolute power, corrupts absolutely. Wife her up, or knock her up, and you owe her money for life. Will she take it, is the question...

[–]FeatherClad 6 points6 points [recovered]

She's never even seen a penis before. Sex ed is quite reserved where she comes from. She's 16. I'm 17. True I have no videographic evidence of her life since she was a baby for it to be concrete that she is a virgin... was. ( c: )

She was in excruciating pain on our first time... second time... and so on, it still hurts her a little bit. This is given about an hour of foreplay, and her being so aroused that her nipples are rock hard, shes shivering and moaning at my slightest touch and so in a trance that she wouldn't even care if I went in without the plastic. (i'm not dumb enough for that, granted her period was late for like 10 days recently, all is good though) and in everything we did she felt really, genuine inexperienced. Even when I just kissed her for the first couple hundred times, her lips felt so inexperienced. Her teeth were way too far forward.

She's talked to a couple boys before but the men in her country are mostly betas. A boy got mad at her because "she didn't notice I loved her (I being the beta, who had never fucking even been on a date with her) "

absolute power corrupts? You mean me ? I have absolute power in our relationship. She broke every fucking rule she had and held up till now for me, and she will continue to do so at my will.

I would be worried about the boys she plays sports with occasionally when she plays mixed sexed matches, they're pretty jacked. But I'm more jacked. I look almost like micheal phelps celebrating in rio right now, and I only want to push it further. I run a 5 minute mile. I've always ran alone and never tracked shit, my friend tracked it recently and said that's really good. I didn't know so I googled it and supposedly i'm like 87 seconds behind the world record. I lift. I have incredible ambitions and plan and genuinely think I'm going to become ludicrously successful. She has every reason to want to keep me. I mean, she's already stated that she'd rather share me than not have me.

I don't know, I have fuck all experience, you probably know more, if I'm doing something wrong or am about to fuck myself, pleas share your wisdom.

[–]sd4c 9 points10 points  (0 children)

KEEP HER. Based on your description, I wouldn't even cheat. I'd spin plates but not fuck any of them.

Your early grasp of red pill truths will serve you well in the years to come. You're way ahead of the game compared to 98% of even us here on TRP- but keep reading, even if things seem fine. Get The Married Man's Primer and use it, she's no unicorn, but she's definitely a horse that can fly

[–]the99percent1 9 points10 points  (3 children)

Hahaha... shes 16 and you are 17. Mate, get the fuck out of here.

How long have you been dating? 1 week? Lol..

Jesus christ shit yo.. this 17 year old found a virgin 16 year old to be his future wife. Jeez. Just wait till Chad wipes your face all over his cum stained floor after a good fuck with yo 16 year old gf.

[–]1ToSeeAndToHear 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Sour grapes much? It may not happen often but the world is a big place. Give the kid advice instead of being shitty.

[–]svensin 2 points3 points  (1 child)

ask yourself, if she let you do this all to her, why hasn't she let someone else do it before you? are you really james bond, or are you allowing yourself to be fooled.

Either way, have fun

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (1 child)

This sounds like some fantasy movie I watched last week.

[–]rockymountainoysters 2 points3 points  (4 children)

These kinds of posts about foreign women bring tears to my eyes. Western countries used to have women like this, but they're just gone now. You can search your whole life for a Western woman like this, and die alone.

I would never have believed these women even exist. Until last year, when I started traveling outside the US.

If you find a country where married men have the right to not get divorce raped, and where women act like this because of cultural dread game, then marrying isn't signing your own death warrant there.

Don't marry in a feminized country. Don't bring your lovely foreign unicorn to a feminized country. If you ever want to marry, you need to leave your feminized country forever.

[–]HaagenDazs 11 points12 points  (1 child)

It's not as black and white. When I was younger I always slept around and didn't get into many LTRs. Now, I'm married to this woman who happens to be the mother of my daughter.

She is 25 but managed to finished her degree while pregnant, did her masters while taking care of our two year old, take care of the house and cook for me; I get home from the gym, food is ready. I get home from work, my daughter is always well taken care off with her hair and nails done.

I'm lucky as hell, but she's also not American. I would feel bad if I did not marry a woman like this. I'm happy, when I'm unhappy it's me who's fucking up - or she's genuinely tired from all the work she had to do throughout the day, and doesn't want to make sex. But even then, she wakes up a bit earlier and wakes me up for sex.

This is my first post here, I'm not a part of the community because I disagree with some of things. But I believe that there's always something you can take from every community. My advice is, don't get married to useless women who do nothing for you. Find that one who would die to make you happy, and is genuinely happy to have you around. Nothing makes me happier than having my two girls cheer every time I get home.. And it's genuine. I don't even think I deserve that. It's too good of a feeling.

[–]dracolius 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Find that one who would die to make you happy, and is genuinely happy to have you around."

...and never, ever assume that she will stay that way indefinitely. It's too easy to end up on autopilot and lose the thread, or to let the things that attract her to you slip away.

Appreciate what you have, but continually picture your life without her. Be at peace with the idea of being alone again in the future. If you don't do this, the odds are astronomically high that it will bite you in the ass.

[–]Sketti-Os 19 points20 points  (8 children)

Bro, keep at it. I'm a 25 year old software engineer. Moved around at my 2 and 5 year career marks, now making 101k/yr +10k bonus if I meet expectations.

I bought a house this summer after renting a shitbox and saving money for two years. Renting two of the four rooms to other engineers who are ~30 years old, and their wives. I gave them a "deal" on rent (they still pay my mortgage entirely) if the unemployed wives do housework. The poor guys can't afford a house because their wives soak up their income. It's sad.

But because I was smart about relationships, I have a mortgage free living situation, women who will clean my house, tons of pocket money, and nobody nagging me. Just be smart about it

[–]lemurmort 5 points6 points  (2 children)

That sounds like a hellacious living arrangement.

San Francisco?

[–]bluefit 4 points5 points  (0 children)

101k a year is not buying a house in SF.

[–]I_Need_More_Space_ 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Dude, you are dialed. And if any of the wives are hot, may as well get some BJ's out of it when they want some attention from the King of the House. LOL. Tell the other engineers you'll knock some off the rent for weekly lays from their wives. LOL

[–]RedPillFreedom 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Encore. How did you set out on this master plan? How did you keep the prices secret? Plus, making the women clean for you. Man, this is great.

[–]SunglassesRapist 13 points14 points  (15 children)

Alright I'm a bit of youngster here (20) but serious question, are there any upsides to getting married?

[–][deleted] 8 points8 points

[permanently deleted]

[–]trippinallday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That actually makes sense though, and I think those figures are a positive thing for non-married dudes. Think of it like this, the guys who aren't getting raises are instead taking risks and branch-swinging when they can find a better job. They might do worse in any single company compared to their coworkers, but when they're at Company B making 100,000$ while you're still at Company A moving from 65,000$ to 75,000$, who's the real winner?

[–]I_Need_More_Space_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's false. Companies are constantly looking to save $ anywhere they can. In fact, I'd say family guys in this day and age are on the chopping block due to the fact that they have stayed with a company for so long. They are paid more, when the company can easily find a fresh newbie to do the same job for less thereby creating more profit. Its happening all over in middle management in healthcare.

[–]penis_butter_n_jelly 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We have a biological imperative to reproduce. This evolutionary artifact governs most of our subconscious motivations. Very few men will be fulfilled in life without having successful offspring. The best way to achieve this remains--a stable pair bond with a female for no less than 16-24 years (depending on how many children and their offset). This doesn't have anything to do with legal marriage, but MGTOW or even perpetual pump-n-dump is only satisfying for a few small percentage of men for more than a few years. The majority of MGTOWs are just men that can't get laid and pretend they don't want to. The ideal situation remains, slay dumb sluts, and build yourself until you're established. You won't find a unicorn, but you can find an attractive, self-respecting woman that chooses keeps good company and knows her purpose is to raise a family. Sire some pups, maintain frame, and get the kids raised. It will be expensive. After that if you want to come out of retirement--so be it.

[–]tenor11 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Also 20 and currently in a LTR. Are there any at all?

[–]outinthedesert 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It can add a vast amount of value to your life if you choose the right person, emotionally and financially. In fact, research shows a strong correlation between healthy marriages and wealth. A lot of people on here have had bad marriages because they are just terrible judges of character. They then project that out to the world.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

More likely to have more access to your kids post divorce. You will be given more responsibility at work because it's an endorsement of maturity.

[–]phantasic79 6 points7 points  (12 children)

What if my GF makes twice as much money as me? Should I marry her?

[–]1ozaku7 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Marriage isn't a trap, they make themselves a doormat by being a spineless IT nerd who thinks has found the only woman on earth that wants to be with him and wants to keep her at all cost.

Fuck, if a person allows itself to be treated like shit, it will happen. You have to set restrictions, like with a dog. No restrictions = you become their bitch. But that takes an entire subreddit to come to that conclusion. Its just full of butthurt nice guys who finally got the truth that just being nice won't get you pussy, but just by being a proud selfrespected person does.

[–]CreamiestCream 22 points22 points [recovered]

fresh out of college 22-25

The dominant demographic of this sub and exactly what is wrong with it. Young, heavily feminized men with no life experience just starting to get woke to the fact they've been lied to their entire life. Reacting with misplaced anger and hilariously entertaining life pro tips.

[–]103342 5 points6 points  (3 children)

I don't see the anger in OP's post, and also don't see the "hilariously entertaining life pro tips".

Would you mind sharing your wise "life experienced" views on marriage?

[–]trippinallday 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Isn't that demographic the one who needs it most though?

[–]Timmy2kx 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Been married almost a year. I'm on disability and my wife makes enough to support us both. Does she resent it? Sometimes but I keep the house clean and she stays off my back. Is it perfect? Not really but she married me for me because it damn sure wasn't for my money. She doesn't even want kids either. I pinch myself to make sure I'm not dreaming because women aren't supposed to be like this.

[–][deleted] 33 points34 points  (38 children)

Getting married these days is downright stupid. I don't care if you find a unicorn, don't do it. I'm 25 and will never get married. You basically lose all your leverage once you get married because she knows that she will pretty much win, if you guys get divorced. There really is no upside for men. Especially if you don't want kids.

If you really want a companion, find some friends or get a dog. Also when you are married, you HAVE to buy that big house and all that. Honestly, I've been thinking about it and as a single man, IF I buy a house, I don't even need a big one. Just have a bedroom with enough closet space to store my clothes. Maybe another bedroom to have sex with chicks I bring home, so they can't steal my possessions. A decent living room with big TV, nice kitchen, laundry machines and a backyard with maybe a pool.

[–]sd4c 22 points23 points  (4 children)

Not just this. Don't cohabitate. Live with a woman long enough and you might as well be married

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (2 children)

Oh yeah, common marriage laws. I gotta make sure I'm not in one of those states. Plus, with cohabitating brings familiarity and you have to be on top of your shit all the time.

[–]sh0ckley 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There are cohabitation agreements but I'm not sure a woman would sign the one that says I can have her forcibly removed at any time.

[–]sd4c 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]Banned_For_Opinion 35 points36 points  (22 children)

Marriage is just an excuse for women to act as cunty as possible and still get paid. At least when you're dating there is always a fear of you being able to just leave whenever you want. Marriage is literally allowing women to act like animals under legal contract. Fucking unreal if you sign that deal....

[–][deleted] 20 points21 points  (21 children)

Exactly, hence the "nagging wife." If you have a woman you can't stand as a girlfriend. You dump her and worse case, she destroys some stuff. With a wife, I have heard too many stories of men not just paying alimony, but literally paying out of their freaking RETIREMENT account and social security, if the divorce happens. That's messed up.

I don't care how much my parents want me to find a woman to settle down with and get married, not happening. Also, even if you don't get married, never get a joint bank account for ANYTHING. Even if it's just for bills. You never know what can happen. The woman can decide to just never contribute, then take that money.

In life some risks (starting a business, moving somewhere new) are worth taking. Others like marriage are not worth taking. There isn't enough reward. Even if you lose the same amount of money starting a business as you do in a marriage/divorce, at least a business had a chance to make some money and even if you fail, you probably learn some important life skills from trying to run that business, that can benefit you moving forward. Failed marriage can pretty much destroy men, not just financially, but mentally and emotionally.

[–]Banned_For_Opinion 26 points27 points  (15 children)

My mother once said to me after one of these conversations with her, "Why don't you just give it a shot?". The look on my face was indescribable. This coming from the same woman whose brother no less than 5 years ago had his worthless, unemployed, lazy wife fuck the neighbor while he was out of town cuz she was basically bored. 3 kids and a house. he had to move into an apartment and pays her 3k a month that she spends on herself. I've never wanted to tell my mother to fuck off more in my entire life....

[–][deleted] 14 points15 points  (12 children)

$3,000 a month? What the fuck? There are some people, including myself who while having enough money for food, rent, gym membership, fun, saving, etc., don't make $3,000 a month in TAKE HOME PAY AFTER TAXES. The fact she gets that just makes my blood boil.

That's freaking robbery. I know a story like that. Don't know the specifics, but a friend of mine I knew from elementary school to high school used to live in a mansion with his brother and parents. At a certain point I think in high school, the parents get divorced and the father had to move into an apartment and probably pay her alimony.

[–]Banned_For_Opinion 16 points17 points  (3 children)

Yea man, 3 kids, 1k a kid. Worst part is in family court you're not even allowed to talk. the fact that she committed adultery and broke the vows of their marriage is null and void. Shes a woman and obviously the victim and you're the man and obviously the bread winner. Pay her X amount so she can keep living her lifestyle no matter what you have to do to achieve this. 401k, investments, taking on another job. Most people just end up losing their jobs and hating their lives while the women continue to do nothing, get paid, and complain about everything. And women wonder why less men are getting married and having sex.... It's a fucking mystery, right?!?! (he said with heavy sarcasm....)

[–]user_none 5 points6 points  (2 children)

Good 'ole no fault divorce at work. Not fault divorce is the biggest load of horse shit I've ever seen.

[–]Banned_For_Opinion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Jokes on you, it's always the mans fault.

[–]0FO6 8 points9 points  (7 children)

I am paying my ex $1300 a month, and I have the kids...

Edit: It would have been a lot more too if she had gotten a lawyer during the proceedings, or disagreed with it during mediation. As in over $2k a month even with me having the kids. I can completely see how this guy got raked for $3k a month if he doesn't have the kids.

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (6 children)

$1300 a month. Damn, that can get you two or more high class escorts/prostitutes each month. Heck, $1300 can get you a freaking nice vacation.

I would rather set that $1300 on fire in a fireplace, than give it to an ex. At least the money on fire would keep me warm for a bit.

[–]RavelsBolero 6 points7 points  (3 children)

100 dollars will get you a beautiful european whore for half an hour here. Idk what's wrong with escorting in murka

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (2 children)

America freaking sucks because they know that if prostitution were legal everywhere, the price of pussy would crater. Just like how when the Prohibition of alcohol happened, which I wasn't alive for and most people today weren't, alcohol was probably much more expensive, since it was not as easy to get. Now, a freaking homeless man can scrap together $10-$15 and get wasted on hard liquor

Feminists talk about how women should be able to do what they want with their bodies, yet know if prostitution were legal, they would lose power. How many men would put up with half the shit American women give them, if they had plenty options to get laid for like $100 or even $200? And the sex prostitutes give them would probably be better than duty/starfish sex they get from their nagging wives or girlfriends give them. And they don't have to cater to the escort or prostitute after.

Also with escorts/prostitutes, you don't have to worry about false rape accusations and get more secrecy. There is a reason rich, high status guys who can get women anywhere they go, use prostitutes.

[–]RavelsBolero 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Prostitution is illegal here too. We have "escorting" which is where you pay for "time". Check out AdultWork, though it's uk based so their other regions are pretty much empty of girls. Surely you must have agencies in the states too?

[–]0FO6 2 points3 points  (1 child)

No joke. I figured at the end the divorce costed me nearly $80k over the period of about 3 years, if not slightly more. I would have happily done any number of other things... At least the $1300 a month will be done in Jan.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$80K? That's just infuriating. I don't usually cry that much, but want to shed tears for you. You could have bought a sweet Mercedes, BMW or Lexus for around $40-50K and you would still have plenty money left over from that.

Damn, even if you just started a business with that money and completely failed, at least you would have been able to say "I know what it's like to run a business" and there are many other lessons you can learn from that kind of hands on experience. Even tout yourself as a "former entrepreneur"

[–]Forcetobereckonedwit 1 point2 points  (1 child)

The self entitlement is truly astounding. Moms, sisters, plates...AWALT.

Vag? Expect the world at your feet.

[–]Banned_For_Opinion 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At this point in my life I can really only shake my head and move on. No use in expending energy getting frustrated about it, which I did (and still do sometimes) for a long time.

[–]AlphaKenny-1 6 points7 points  (4 children)

Also, even if you don't get married, never get a joint bank account for ANYTHING.

Can attest to this. Had a joint account with a long term girlfriend just for saving money for vacations. Well shit didn't work out and we split. Then she drug her feet getting her name off the account. This account happened to be with the same bank that she had a car loan through. She missed a payment or 2 and they went straight for our joint account to get their money. This was 2 weeks before I went on a trip and needed that money. Luckily she was cool about it and paid me back quickly. It could've been a lot worse though. Still, don't do it

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (2 children)

I know a friend of mine whose moving in with his girlfriend come September and they are actually getting a joint bank account just for bills. His current roommate, who I'm friends with as well told me this and we both thought it was such a bad idea. Like "what will happen if they break up?" "Will she take the money and run?" She seems like a nice person, but people can get nasty during breakups.

Plus, with the advent of Venmo and PayPal for sending people money, it's not necessary having a joint bank account for splitting bills. I've lived with roommates with the past and know how to split money on bills like rent, utilities, cable, etc. It's not that hard.

[–]juliusstreicher 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OK, not one to lecture my betters, usually-BUT, you should have taken your name off the account. You waited for her to do...what, exactly???

When disassociating yourself from women, financially, you hide YOUR assets, you don't wait for her to take responsibility for protecting yours.

[–]MoneyStatusLooks 5 points5 points [recovered]

so they can't steal my possessions

What type of women are you bringing home? haha

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (1 child)

It's not a matter of who I'm bringing home now, but don't for one second believe that if you are a rich or at least have a decent amount of money and you bring a woman home, she might not take something. I feel like I have heard of that type of shit happening.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (2 children)

I miss figures like that patriarch that's leading your team. Those were good days.

[–]coffee_and_lumber 8 points8 points [recovered]

I know a few here and there. Solid fucking men they are. Some of the most rigid frame I've ever seen. I don't know many of these guys below a certain age however.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I am growing up to become one. It does take a while though because of my generation (millennials), but the reward will be bigger and better than the older patriarchs'.

[–]PlanB_pedofile 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Ah yes I heard you can save a ton on car insurance by switching to single.

Great news is the older you get, so does your dating pool of single moms. Then by the time you are in your late 40s, you can look towards Thailand for a mail order bride to settle down with or choose to bachelor till death. Either way is fine.

Being single forever is great. I too have a manager who's approaching 47, unmarried. His life consists of a book club, trivia nights at a bar, and gambling at the casino. He can buy and save whatever he wants. Has the latest game consoles and definitely looks the part of playing them instead of going to racket bal. I don't know when was the last time he had a girlfriend.

Meanwhile other people this age is taking their son to football, teaching their kid to drive, bragging about their honor student. We also have the mess of people who are going through their midlife crisis with divorce, affairs, partying.

Listen young buck. Enjoy yourself, but also know damn well that everyone is of a different breed. All men bitch about their wives because that's women in general. You bitch about them too through various short term relationships. 1 woman for 20 years or 40 women in 20 years is really no different. You're just putting up with 40 different piles of shit instead of just one.

In the end, to each their own. But betas like to complain than take control. A married alpha dgaf what he spends the family budget on because he's in command of the ship. As long as he's keeping the boat afloat, the wife is merely a passenger.

[–]EscortSportage 11 points12 points  (6 children)

I love it when these fat, betas i work with ask me "so when are you getting married" Likes its an automatic thing. Im like im not, never doing that.

Then i go tell me about your divorce with wide #1. and tell me about your amazing life with wife #2. you didnt learn the first time.

I will lift weights, invest money, build the racecar of my dreams, buy a motorcycle, travel, drink beer and bourbon, sleep with any woman i want, and watch my money grow.

Enjoy working for a woman and some dumb kids for the rest of your life!

Why is Vasalgel not in the US yet!?!?

[–]Blimey85 6 points7 points  (4 children)

Just one problem with your plan... race car of your dreams AND watch your money grow?!?! Yea, don't think that's how it works. You start off with a plan and a budget and then that goes right out the window and you spend and spend and spend. But, in defense of the car, you have an amazing car and a helluva lot of fun working on it and spending those dollars. Unless of course you mean buying something stock and leaving it as such. But I'm guessing you're going to build something fancy like what is seen on Street Outlaws. At least thats what I would do if I had skipped marriage and kids.

[–]blackierobinsun2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would never marry an American woman, most selfish btches on this planet

[–]trippinallday 3 points4 points  (1 child)

How does someone get so whipped that they can't buy a fucking keyboard without their wives permission??? Like even an expensive "gaming" keyboard would be 100-200$ if you chose to go with the most expensive one you could find. Just a quick search on Amazon shows most of them are 20-40$, customizable LEDs and all.

The married dream, right boys?

[–]askmrcia 2 points3 points  (0 children)

There's most likely more to the story that Op doesn't know about.

[–]TheRedStoic 5 points6 points  (4 children)

Well yeah man. Marriage is a bad deal. Business ways, socially, time wise, pretty much in every way unless you're in politics.

Yup. All checks out here. Nice fr.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (3 children)

not necessarily. If your wife works and you get a prenup, you should be safe from most of the pitfalls, and you'll get a tax break. Only thing to watch out for is make sure she's still on her birth control (or get a vasectomy).

I know what subreddit I'm in and what the narrative usually is, but OP is describing some weak-minded losers.

[–]youthoughtyouknewme 2 points3 points  (2 children)

and you'll get a tax break

Many couples see their taxes increase. All depends on how much they earn and which brackets they fall in.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

That is a an exceptionally rare exception, I'm sure.

[–]youthoughtyouknewme 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More than you would think - most dual-income couples, especially if they make about the same amount, actually pay more.

...in general, in the current U.S. system, single-income married couples usually benefit from filing as a married couple because of income splitting, while dual-income married couples are often penalized in comparison

Hey, taking care of childre...

We'll see how you fare in a few years. The logic behind getting married is ironclad:

  • Marriage is good for women.

  • Men want to do good for / and by women.

  • So you man up and get married.

[–]OrpheusV 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I've told all my younger cousins and siblings to not get married. While it's (currently) working for me, there's no guarantee it'll even last, and that's irritating. A shame, since I didn't know any better.

So, for the record, here's what I have going for it:

  • Both of us married as Mormons. I pretty much outright left the church (ex-communicated) after getting married since they're the worst institution for men, and they're effectively a church founded by a fraud. Wife no longer is an active member to begin with, and this was about 6 years ago.
  • Both of us married young, 23 and 21 respectively.
  • She had maybe three partners total, I had four. She says one, but that's probably off by two.
  • I was sterilized before marriage, so she fully went into this marriage knowing that children were completely off the table. This eliminates the risk of child support should things go pear-shaped. We do not live in a community property state either.

What sucks is you can't cleanly get away if the relationship goes utterly pear-shaped. At least if you aren't married you can just ghost her or tell her outright that you're done with her. We still have stupid fights over crap that could be resolved better, and it's not a healthy thing. At least you could drop her ass if she gives you a shitty attitude.

Do not get married, at least in this climate, unless things change for the better to make marriage matters more reasonable. At least I can invoke the excuse that I didn't honestly know better. Those of you who are new, and here now, have no fucking excuse. You're on your own if you decide to not heed this.

There are days I do wonder exactly what the fuck I got married for. This isn't supposed to be a thing, but it is. There are days I'd rather be completely alone and content.

[–]1ozaku7 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don't see how this is the cause of marriage. Its his own fault for not demanding some respect and more effort from his wife. I bet if your co-workers would have a dog that it would turn out to be an asshole that doesn't respect or listens to his master.

Grow a spine, and especially IT is filled with wimps that are little all tolerating bitches that make alot of money and get married to golddiggers.

TRP portrays that most women suck, but most of the men just lack a spine and let themselves be played by cunts. Only to start hating women.

Women need to be trained like a dog. Hence they are called bitches. Dogs reflect their master. They give their master the respect they deserve.

25 single, going to europe next week. Debt free, no stress, working out and eating right to fill out. Life is god damn good being a single man.

[–]I_Need_More_Space_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Amen, Brotha. And it gets better in your 30's. Turning 32 in a few weeks, and I'm peaking every fucking year. Every year gets better. Just stay single, fuck when good opportunities come up, and keep changing for the better. Life should be a dynamic process if one expects a fruitful run in this world.

I'm married, have been for 5 years to a wonderful woman, and I have a few perspectives from my own experience. And keep in mind that I can only anser based on the information you've given based on your own perspective of their situations. :

  1. How trappish marriage feels is dependant on the person experiencing it and with whom they're experiencing it. Speaking from experience, if you're a healthy guy/girl and you have a healthy sex drive, you're going to be attracted to who aren't your spouse, especially if they're frigging HOT. I'm a personal trainer and I come across beautiful women all the time and being a man, I look. Here's the thing though: My wife gives me ass WHENEVER I want (within reason) so whenever I've been around hot women all day, I just go home and make my wife beg for mercy.

Another thing: having more hobbies ouside of work to drain off their excess energy will help. Lots of times when a man feels like he's in a marriage that makes him feel trapped, it not necessarily because his wife is monster, but that he hasn't yet started pursuing things that make him feel alive and passionate. At the end of the day, NOBODY, not even a wife or husband can make a person feel fulfilled. That comes from knowing thyself, Man, and thus knowing the universe and it's Gods.

  1. I have a son ( 1 year) and kids are EXPENSIVE AF dude. One 2.5 pound tub of formula costs 39.99 ( we give my son organic, only the best son!!!). Now, I'm not sure if you're coworkers have children, but if they do, this could explain why they don't money for extra vacations. Can you imagine spending 100 dollars every WEEK on something that you don't see and can't directly benefit from? It doens't how much more money they make than you, because half that shit is gone before they even see. They're most likely paying for health insurance too, keep in mind.

Oh yeah, childbirthing tends to [email protected]#$ with women's hormones big time. I've been there, after my wife gave birth to our son, her sex drive diminshed. It's partly because their brain becomes rewired and their priority now is taking care of your kid. All of her mental and physical resources get streamlined and directed down that channel. I can totally see how "beta #2"'s wife could handle that yet. She's being honest and she knows herself. Better they go to daycare than she find herself super stressed out and then trying to fix it by boiling her fucking kids like lobsters.

It could be that their wives are investment-minded and don't see the long term value in getting a new tv and gaming board. I personally don't see it either; your buddies are young and strong and smart, so maybe they can work even harder and get the money for their toys. It sounds like their wives just want to make sure the bills are paid first. I personally would take the money for the gaming board + television and start building a nest egg or invest in a app or business. Videogames are drugs, they force you to keep completing higher and higher levels and in return your body will release dopamine. And they wasted mad time.

  1. People complain for a reason. There are 2 sides to every story.

  2. There are plenty of men out there that work their [email protected]#$$% asses of and their BILLIONAIRES, AND THEY HAVE WIVES AND mad kids i.e. Mark Cuban, Tony robbins. They can do it and so can everybody else. I train guys and girls that are making six figures (or more) and work their asses off ( 50, 60 hours PLUS) AND still manage to take a vacation every couple of months. Like I said in point one, maybe your friends shouls stop pouring all of their vital life force into a videogame that gives short term pleasure and direct all that damn effor into building an Empire.

  3. People change. That includes husbands and wives. Maybe your friends had a view of marriage that was all rosey and filled with visions of their wives sucking them off anytime they wanted, only to experience what it's like for real and now they don't like it. It all boils down to KNOW WHAT THE [email protected]#@# YOU WANT AND WHY BEFORE YOU CHASE IT. PERIOD. Some men, like yourself, are fine living life without being "tied down", and that's fine.

  4. The grass is always greener on the other side. I know dudes that have some HOT FUCKING WIVES and they don't even touch them. Why? Because of the Law of Familiarity. Even the hottest chick can become old news to you. It could be that or some men just get bored faster, maybe due to a lack the ability to focus on what they love about their spouses and remember what qualities enticed them to marry them.

Summing it up and looking at it as rationally as possible at 4am in the morning, I don't have any sympathy for your friends whatsoever. They are hardworking, and that's what men do, we work hard. One of the rewards for the hard work we do is that we get that powerful "superman aura" and we can walk around proud with swinging dicks. If you care about your coworkers, tell 'em to sell the video games and go focus on becoming the next Microsoft or Apple.

Nothing but praise for this board, but you can get married and still be you. I make a good salary and buy what I want. My money goes in my bank account and I make her account for what she needs bill wise. she is much happier with this arrangement because it takes the stress off of her (me asking where is the money!). I have three daughters and you had to be red pill with them as much as your wife, but applied in the right way - it makes life better for everyone and you get to still be your own man.

[–]EvrythingISayIsRight 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hah, about the toys comment...

I see similar situations at my work too. One of my coworkers told me about how 'he and his wife decided on a new car', yet he still drives the old beater because 'she needed it more'. Translation: His wife picked out a car and convinced him to buy it for her, while he is still stuck with the old POS.

[–]Igetitnow2 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Good post. I'm in a similar boat, the guy in the office next to me is getting divorce raped hard. It's difficult to watch. He spent more than my house cost on lawyers so far, since he has to pay for hers too and she can have only the best. So he's paying both the best lawyers in town to fight it out over his money.

[–]identifiedlogo 1 point2 points  (1 child)

To be honest. This awareness is something you keep to yourself. you don't announce it. Good for you for being aware, but do not compare you life to other and think you are better than them because you have a TV and an Xbox. Some people are genuinely happy with a nagging wife and kids running around. You are on your own lane, stay on your lane, do not provide advice or suggestion unless it is asked of you earnestly, even then be very careful what you say. Also there are different levels to being an alpha, someone like DanBrazillian may call you a weak beta for your 9-5 gig. Some jacked up dude may think of you a weak beta for looking skinny, Work on yourself only, do not compare yourself to others and think you are better, that is typical beta approval leaching behavior.

[–]Mikand1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This 100%. I have always been very red pill leaning, but since swallowing the red pill I see this all the time. Everyone is right in their own mind. You just have to focus on you and nobody else.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your post only shows that marriage is a trap for men who are unprepared and non-assertive, as your boss still seems like he is a man who is living a full life. The lesson here is, if you're going to get married, (a) choose carefully and (b) be the man in the marriage.

[–]1PantsonFire1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

to support his wife who get this, doesn't work, yet they still take one of their kids to daycare because "she can't handle it" yet this guy never says that he can't handle his gargantuan workload. he just works harder.

Some people just can't comprehend that the possibility exist to tell your bitch to f,- off.

[–]Mildsoss 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Wife doesn't work and still taking kids to daycare? Wow.

[–]carsarecoool 3 points3 points [recovered]

Beta 1 should start his own business if he's as skilled as you say he is.

[–]nickjaa 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This evidence to not get married seems pretty anecdotal.

[–]lJunKunl 6 points6 points [recovered]

What about wanting to pass down a genetic legacy? How would one go about doing that besides outsourcing your seed to another country?

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Last time I checked, you can still get pregnant without a marriage license. Now if you want sole custody, you're looking at some hefty fees.

[–]Benny757 1 point2 points  (1 child)

True this. At work, given feminist favoritism, always be Machiavellian and fly under the radar as much as necessary.

Some here have advised be blue pill as hell at Corp America work. Not sure about that but as you exercise your frame, guard it closely. All is a game of chess between God, the Devil and you. And you can't not play.

[–]Ulyssers 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nice last part there, chess god and the devil.

[–]nogoodliar 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have to do a ton of nice shit for my wife to make up for it, and we've only been married for 2 years (together 6), but she cooks every night and brings me coffee every morning. It's only a trap if you let it be a trap.
