MetaComing Soon: Red Pill Weekend (self.TheRedPill)

submitted by ∞ Mod | RP Vanguardbsutansalt

Listen up chucklefucks! This coming weekend we're closing submissions for those who've yet to earn their stripes. Over these 2 days we'll have shit-hot content just for you, produced by our very own ECs, mod team, and Vanguard members.

You'll still be able to post replies, so please feel free to comment and show them some love. However, we've got very little use or tolerance for moralizing fucksticks who disrespect our elders, so moderation will have the banhammer standing by for those who step out of line.

Learn, focus, improve.

[–]BreathOfDick 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Last EC weekend was great, looking forward to another.

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 22 points23 points  (97 children)

Hey TRP people new and old less new.... what content would you like to see?

[–][deleted] 33 points34 points  (25 children)

Been working on some stuff about powertalk, a little dark triad thrown in. it's two areas with a huge lack of material.

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 11 points12 points  (11 children)

I'd love to read more about this, I'm not very good at it.

[–][deleted] 9 points10 points  (10 children)

There's very little out there to base your work from. IM, Vintatesh Rao, a little bit of Scott Adams, and then Greene/Machiavelli.

Also, the fact most people take it instantly to the negative behaviours, instead of as a strategy. For saying things are amoral, IM has a big tendancy to make it overly negative and aggressive emotionally.

Will see if I can get it across in the written word. Hopefully all the damned EC lawyers have their own take on it.

[–]RedPillandNoFap points points [recovered]

the fact most people take it instantly to the negative behaviours, instead of as a strategy

I'm 2/3 of the dark triad. Narcissist and Machiavellian.

Cannot find anything via google searches about those two without the psychopathy.

I would consume the shit out of Dark Triad material that wasn't overly negative and full of moral compass banter. I have a moral compass. I just choose not to follow it.

Eh. Maybe that makes me a psychopath too then?

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (3 children)

that's just it. It's not anything. Everything is a means to an end, the only thing missing is morality.

It's not going to have a moral compass, anymore than TRP would. It's just tools

[–]RedPillandNoFap points points [recovered]

It's not going to have a moral compass, anymore than TRP would. It's just tools

Great! I could really get behind an effective Dark Triad strategy, e.g. something like The D.E.N.N.I.S. System.

[–]RedPillandNoFap points points [recovered]

I guess I should have added the /s

[–]Slayerz2000 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You're good mate. Dark Triad would be something I'm interested it as well seeing as if you manifest/display the traits in a shit way, you come off disturbing or weird. Curious on what these guys have to say

[–]Elodere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We need more links to these masters, more examples of good dark triad material that are actionable!

[–]submitted_5_days_ago 0 points1 point  (3 children)

There's very little (of any substantial actionability) because those who are real DT are either not enough self aware to talk about it or they are fully self aware to understand it is of no gain to spend their time spreading their way of doing to other people. (But desinfo is actually time-worth.)

Those who write about it who are not real DTs may only see it from a meta point of view, like academic people, they are capable of describing what is that make DTs DT, but they cannot display the behavior.

With prolonged practice and the right environment one may incorporate two out of the three traits, but the brain structure of a P cannot be acquired.

You may try to shut down empathy, but it is still there and you know it and you can feel it. You cannot conceive what you it's like having zero empathy. People are less than objects or tools. You don't have to think about them being object, they "just are" objects. It's indescribable what it really is.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

It's a spectrum. I know I'm on it, don't have the stomach to drown puppies, so I know I'm not that far.

Just like TRP, you are using the tools that work, but without the emotional attachment to psychopathy. Wisdom of psychopaths is actually pretty good at describing it.

And you're right, you can't imagine the lack of empathy, but you can imagine less empathy. What is dehumanizing the enemy, if not a short circut of this trait? Exmaple, WW1, people shot at bullseyes, but wouldn't pull the trigger in combat.

WW2 made them into human shaped targets. People then simply relied on muscle memory, and equated living people with paper targets.

It's not perfect (shell shock was a thing) but you can train in it. Vinkatesh Rao has a great term for it. Be Sleightly Evil.

I know the only thing you probably can't teach, is that 'switch' they describe. Where in moments of great moral and mental stress, it automatically switches on, like a sedative.

The best I've seen to replicate it is the military, where you train by reptitiion, and put it onto autopilot. It takes a lot more work, but you eventually put it into the fast thinking, and completely ignore slow thinking.

TBH, at this stage, I wouldn't be comfortable speaking with any authority of more than some of the basic foundations.

[–]Top_Brazzler 0 points1 point  (1 child)

It's a spectrum. I know I'm on it, don't have the stomach to drown puppies, so I know I'm not that far.

I'll give you quick therapy. Would you drown 3 puppies if it meant 30 could be saved?

You're welcome ;)

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was a rancher as a kid. Have had to kill many animals.

You shoot dogs when they kill, once they got the taste of blood they never go back.

Is that seriously the test? Because that seems like a city boy problem

[–]soyDonEladio 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Definitely more posts about powertalk please.

[–]Top_Brazzler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

honest question wtf is power talk?

[–]therealpkg 1 point2 points  (4 children)

My dissertation advisor is one of world's leading academics in Dark Triad research. Happy to point you to him or his work if you're interested.

[–]PM_ME_YOUR_SQUAT 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I'd love to read some of his work if he has publications online.

[–]therealpkg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In fact, he does. Normally you'd have to have academic journal access, but he's got a ton on his website:

[–]GentlemenMindset 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Catching a stiffy just thinking about this post, hope your content is as good as IllimitableMan's!

[–]TheRedWay 4 points5 points  (3 children)

The development of the irl Red Pill vetting and where we would like to take it

[–]Senior Contributordr_warlock 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Don't bother. Everyone has their purpose in life and rarely crosses over. The guy you like to play basketball with on occasion is not the guy you wanna hang out with and vice-versa. The guy you like to talk to at work is not the guy you wanna lift with or maybe even hang out with, and vice versa. You fantasize about this redpillsub-like common understanding friendship because you fail to realize the difference between written communication and speech. You don't talk to people in the manner you speak on the internet. Even if they're apart of the sub, it just doesn't compute or feel right. I would know, I've met up with people from here before.

People don't speak to convey information, they speak to create and share emotional vibes. The philosophy/intellectual fantasy is just mental masturbation.

Just find people who don't act like a pussy or use any SJW/MSM buzzwords or topics. Leave the rest of the redpill on the internet.

[–]TheRedWay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I respectfully disagree, yet will acknowledge you have some good points.

You will be right in some cases just because if enough personalities are in the room, there will be some clashing. The two people I know in real life that are aware of the red pill are two people I get along with very well. This is a very small subset of my friends, but so far, so good.

You are also right in that us as people should seek diverse, yet like minded people that may or may not have swallowed the pill who's company we really enjoy.

Of the two that I do know, one guided me to the red pill. He was a guy I really enjoyed working with that I had to let go due to some unfortunate circumstances on the job. Despite this, we stayed in touch and are still good friends.

The other is a more senior member of this forum and we have a good time when we talk.

It has been beneficial to be able to discuss these topics in real life as an extension of the forum.

I see that your decision is made, however if we are interested in at least trying to network with in the community lets support those of us that do.

[–]OilyB 8 points9 points  (7 children)

Coaching on scientific thinking - there are too many posts going 'I've experienced this and the generalization is xxx'

Articles elaborating what we can actually do to move trp ideas forward without seeming a trp-er.

Practical, 'how-to' articles.

General inspiration!

Factual articles why lifting is important, I'm not convinced yet. (maybe because my bmi is ±25)

Edit - Maybe ideas about forming local clubs in every city and ideas about finding each other in our hometown?

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Sci thinking - will think about this, good idea.

Move TRP forward without being a TRP-er.... I hope you mean "without revealing our sources"? Just familiarise yourself with this place, see its truth in the real world, live your life accordingly.

"how-to" articles ..... on what?

Inspiration - read the FRs.

Lifting: reduces bodyfat, increases muscles, increases T therefore helps you sleep, concentrate, feel like a man, be more productive, be more sexual and act less like a little bitch.

Local (TRP?) clubs - this is coming, read the moderators comments about this.

[–]SmokingGiraffeti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you need material on critical thinking there are many philosophers to turn to. Such as the classics like Socrates, Aristotle, Plato to some of the more modern like William Sumner or John Dewey and the many in between like Aquinas, Bacon, Descartes, and the beloved Machiavelli.

There are many other examples of great critical thinkers, but these are just a few that I could think of that either exemplify critical thinking or explored critical thinking.

[–]OilyB 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, without revealing our identities.

[–]The_M0rning_Star 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Yes, I saw a post the other day that bugged the shit out of me because ot arbitrarily claimed that "money makes you happy, money is everything" despite no evidence to support that statement. In fact, there are numerous scientific studies that show the exact opposite...past having your basic needs met, money doesn't make you happy at all. Once you have a house, food, etc., statistically people are no more happy with 100k than they are with 500k. Please never present your personal opinion as unarguable fact. Especially not since this is the internet and I can just look up the validity of your statement. Opinions are awesome, just not when they're presented as fact.

[–]OilyB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. Our powerhouse cq advantage (as opposed to feminists and women in general) is ratio, logical thinking. Let's avail ourselves of that and be certain of the validity of our observations. That's what I wish for this sub. And 200K subscribers asap. And 300K. Etc.

[–]Top_Brazzler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed. There is no unarguable book of facts (except maybe possibly the bible) but only 1% chance on that, lol

[–]1empatheticapathetic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

All these things have been discussed aplenty. You gotta dig deep and look up some old hidden gems. The importance of lifting is explained very thoroughly.

TRP isn't about how to's, and even then there are already plenty. It's better to understand the theory (like you suggested) so you can take on any number of situations you find yourself in. Practice over theory and it's not easy (and so far I've read a hell of a lot more than I've practiced) but that's the point.

[–]BlackJ1 7 points8 points  (2 children)

How about a post that is directed towards men who want LTR's? It seems like a lot of sexual strategy here is directed towards men who want to sleep with many women.

More specifically posts on sexual strategy for monogamous men such as GREEN flags or what to look for in women.

We always get these posts about red flags and which women to watch out for but what about which women to pursue?

[–]The_M0rning_Star 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I support this idea. I've never once read a post about green flags, for plates or a LTR. That would kind of mean that you'd have to acknowledge that women have good qualities as well as bad ones though. Not sure the red pill is ready for such an adventure.

[–]Top_Brazzler -1 points0 points  (0 children)

No offense but if you want an LTR that makes you a faggot

[–]LiquidSnak3 4 points5 points  (13 children)

I'm currently trying to better myself. I stopped smoking, started lifting, meditate, and try to project more confidence since 3 weeks ago. I've read the ego is the enemy and I'm currently going through the 48 laws of power. In order to internalize these laws, I'll start next week and focus on one law and try to utilize it in real situations ( learning by doing, not by reading)

I set some annual goals, which I break down to monthly, which I break down to weekly and incorporate into my weekly planning.

I'm confident that I can look better, feel better and actually achieve something by doing this.

But I don't see my character changing a lot in the long run. What I am doing now seems to cratch only the surface of my being. I am still a lazy blue pill fuck inside. How do I rewire my brain? How do I get rid of 25 years of self-loathing, learned helplessness and self-pity?

I know what I don't like about myself, I kinda know what I want to be like, but I have no idea how to actively work towards that better character and self-love. Looking better is easy: you wanna look like schwarzenegger? Eat this and lift that.

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 3 points4 points  (4 children)

I set some annual goals, which I break down to monthly, which I break down to weekly and incorporate into my weekly planning.

This is good, but do allow things to change in the short term, you need flexibility too. Are you actually following your plan?

This is good... don't worry too much about the ego thing. 48 Laws is good, very good plan to follow each one in turn. Are you actually doing it yet?

Just keep bashing away man... it's all you can do. You need to accept yourself as you are as well as improving - you need time to just relax and be and enjoy what you've created in yourself.

Self acceptance first. Forgive yourself first.

So far more or less. I do need to look at it more each day to make it a routine. usually having it written is enough since there is not much that fills my free time. But I want to make it a habit since I want to load my free time with more stuff so I sit less in fornt of the TV.

No I just came up with that idea a few days ago and I will incorporate it in the next planning and try and figure out how "not outshining my master" can bring me benefits and how I actively do that.

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 0 points1 point  (2 children)

But I want to make it a habit since I want to load my free time with more stuff so I sit less in fornt of the TV.

Try this the other way around: don't sit in front of the TV. Rather than "trying to fill my time so I don't watch TV", you "don't watch TV and see what happens".

I have the same problem. I ban myself from certain absorbing-but-unproductive activities periodically.

and figure out how "not outshining my master" can bring me benefits and how I actively do that.

Um. What master? Unless you're in a workplace environment I'm not sure this applies. The reason for this law is that if you try to "outshine your master", people in power will work out how to fuck you over. A little modesty towards your superiors goes a long way. But it's not overly applicable day to day.

I like your "one law at a time" idea. But do prioritise them rather than doing them in order.

[–]LiquidSnak3 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Interesting. In the end I wang to do something of value. I just hope I dont replace one stupid thing with another.

I am actually in a unique situation where I have a 'master'. I dont think I have the skills in my field to outshine him but iirc there's also a bit in law 1 that says you should try to make your master seem better than he is. Maybe I can try that.

I like your "one law at a time" idea. But do prioritise them rather than doing them in order.

I've read up until about law 20 now and some laws are more appliccable in my life than others. The idea behind this is not only to apply new stuff but also to find out if I already obey some of the laws and to gain insights into social dynamics. I dont care if the application of a law doesnt result in direct, measurable benefits. It's about building a skillset.

But thanks a lot!

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Then don't. Cut out the TV (or at least limit it). Try and be more productive. Keep on trying.

This is a great approach, I like it a lot.

Seconding the request for brain rewiring and trying to get rid of self-loathing and insecurity.

Started lifting 1y ago and I surely look better, but inside I feel still so insecure! It's as if I'm projecting negativity to everyone I speak to, most times, which is a problem not only with girls (which I don't care that much aabout, atm) but with my male friends as well!

My excuse is that I'm going through some bs in life, but I also can see that I always have had some kind of excuse like this, so this is not working.

[–]Top_Brazzler -1 points0 points  (4 children)

I might sound like a faggot but reading the bible helped me. The shit about God trolling Abraham to kill Isaac rewired my brain

[–]3whatsthisgarg 1 point2 points  (3 children)

The shit about God trolling Abraham to kill Isaac

LOL, God trolled a whole bunch of people in the Bible. Just one story: God tells the one military king (tell me you know his name) to renounce war and throw his arrows on the ground and stomp on them. The King throws the arrows on the ground and stomps on them, but only once. Not good enough, punk! You're out! How the fuck was he supposed to know to stomp on them 3, or 7 times, or whatever number? Fucking arbitrary shit, God, thanks.

[–]Top_Brazzler 0 points1 point  (2 children)

God trolled a whole bunch of people in the Bible

I rejoice in knowing God is the most ultimate, epic troll. It somehow feels more accurate than a stereotypical, benevolent God.

[–]3whatsthisgarg 1 point2 points  (1 child)

The Bible starts out with the biggest troll job ever, the Garden of Eden. There are two trees, but stay away from that one! Gotcha! Now you have to wear clothes! God just did that because He didn't want to look at Eve's huge Hebrew bush.

He trolled the shit out of Moses. Forty years in the wilderness. No Promised Land for you!

Job was a Mexican Standoff troll between Job, God, and Satan, and God trolled both of them.

But, the Flood, and the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah? Massive loss of frame. People were just trying to have a good time, God gets mad.

[–]Top_Brazzler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like that Mexican Standoff analogy. You are right. It was so silly that Job's children died in vain, lol. I'm trying not to laugh; but, God is super serious about winning arguments with his arch-nemesis Satan! (either way Job got mercilessly trolled)

[–]Senior Contributordr_warlock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Any personal change that removes mainstream-vices (shit food, no smoking, no drugs, no alcohol, etc) will narrow your pool of lays and friends (I'm sure you've heard how people who've worked on self-improvement in this sub were treated by people along the journey). You will either scare them away through intimidation or inspire hate just by existing and most of all, not have much in common with these people. However, the ones left will be of higher quality. Sidenote: Higher quality girls are harder lays by a long shot.

[–]Top_Brazzler 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]Top_Brazzler -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

lol, you know that a signal-to-noise ratio that high would melt a person's brain

[–]PM_Your_8008s 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Something that ties lots of seemingly disconnected red pill ideas together. I don't know if it's just me but it seems like a lot of stuff that gets written in here is relevant but not always tied back to core ideas very well. Might not be a useful suggestion but worth a shot.

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Interesting.

What disparate ideas would you like to see linked?

[–]PM_Your_8008s 4 points5 points  (1 child)

It was a rather abstract suggestion that I'm having a hard time explaining so here's an example

I get this:

1 - Theory ) Hypergamy is very real, women don't want to be with some worthless chump

2 - Scenario) Because of 1, women will shit test you to ensure your value is up to par

3 - Solution) To pass a shit test, amused mastery or straight up ignoring them works better than trying to logic it away since it shows your value is high, which brings it all back around to point 1.

What I don't get (and what I notice here a lot):

1 - Theory) ????

2 - Scenario) ????

3 - Solution) A whole list of very specific pickup artist techniques or lines that happened to work for the poster.

I guess it just seems like a lot of the information surrounding approaching and escalating around here is anecdotal and hit or miss. It's like memorizing a rule vs truly understanding it. It's also possible I just haven't seen the right resources to fill in that theory/scenario gap in the second example, or maybe certain parts of TRP are just better taught through experience rather than conceptually. Hopefully that clarifies what I meant a bit.

[–]Zenonlite 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I always wanted a guide on the more technical side of game/flirting. Not a strict formula per say, but a guide on examples of what works and what doesn't. I don't see a lot of posts like this outside of the theory.

[–]refusewool 2 points3 points  (0 children)

More seduction techniques through an RP filter.

Unlike some people here, I never started off in the Seduction subreddit / never researched seduction before stumbling on to TRP. I don't want to have to resort to browsing through that blue pill network so I can cherry pick the appropriate information - instead I think it would be highly useful for the basics of seduction with that RP spin to be laid out almost in a formula-like way.

For example we all know what a shit test is and how to pass it but how many people know about kino and the right way to escalate and general game/flirtatious conversation? What good is recognising ASD and LMR if you're not getting to that stage?

Post on:

Alpha being a mindset

thoughts on plating in the workforce - was downvoted a ton for discouraging it

How to handle HBs who use sexuality to make up for their bad behaviors - ie sexuality as a weapon, maybe we have something out here already idk

Would you recommend RPers to study PUA , what areas do you like/dislike?

Sidebar reading- thought for noobs to navigate it, usually we tell them read sidebar, but there is a lot of information and they might get discouraged. Maybe a post prioritizing some areas to look at.

Side thoughts: Exams - entrance exams, exams need to be passed to be able to post or comment, exams to get pointed(numbers next to name) or be nominated to be an EC

[–]TheRationalMale.comRollo-Tomassi 2 points3 points  (2 children)

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's no shortage of confusion, you can see it in the language, alpha and beta are used way too much as nouns, not adjectives

[–]dRePe_Thill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nice, l can re-redirect them here, these are crucial reads to help them understand how to break down that ego investment of what they formerly believed.

Odd. TRP universally discourages sexing women you work with.

How to handle HBs who use sexuality to make up for their bad behaviors - ie sexuality as a weapon, maybe we have something out here already idk

There's been some stuff about that this week.

Would you recommend RPers to study PUA , what areas do you like/dislike?

Personally I think yes (although the rest of TRP is largely no). PUA stuff is good but you have to understand that it's almost all financially motivated and is top layer interaction stuff rather than deep seated truth and following your mission and so on. It is no substitute for being a fucking man, but a lot of it is excellent. I like RSDNation, Black Dragon Blog, Good Looking Loser (no longer updated), Krauser.

Bonecrker and pook are a bit long in the tooth now but still good. Actually an article on "good and bad of PUA" might be nice yes.

Sidebar reading- thought for noobs to navigate it, usually we tell them read sidebar, but there is a lot of information and they might get discouraged.

But who is to say what's most important? A few soundbites won't work. It needs a LOT of consistent info to fully get past the hard outer shell that our gynocentric society installs in men.

Maybe a post prioritizing some areas to look at.

You could write this. I can post it this weekend and give you credit if it's good enough.

Side thoughts: Exams - entrance exams, exams need to be passed to be able to post or comment, exams to get pointed(numbers next to name) or be nominated to be an EC

The problem with "need merit to post" is that it limits us from finding great posters.

Our model is pretty good.... everyone can post, the worst gets removed, the best/consistent posters get EC status so that people know it's the stuff they should definitely listen to.

Points and EC is on merit. Post great and original content for a while and you get them. It's not an exam and shouldn't be.

You basically get points and EC for being of benefit to the community, not for jumping through exam hoops. If we made it an exam, 1000 people would do what it takes to pass and then demand their points and status.

If that's what you want, start posting great content! .... just not this weekend ;)

"Maybe a post prioritizing some areas to look at. You could write this. I can post it this weekend and give you credit if it's good enough."

that's fine I'll PM what I put together

[–]freeman_c14 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Upvote for the alpha mindset. I want to know the foundations.

[–]looptyparadise 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd like to see content on enjoyment, how to enjoy things deeply and enjoying life in general. I'm already imagining how the abundance mentality is prefect for appreciating what's around you.

[–]guifawkes 1 point2 points  (3 children)

More unicorn hunting info. There's about a million posts that tell me in different ways how conniving women are, need more education when/in case I encounter a unicorn.

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 13 points14 points  (1 child)

Unicorns don't exist.

You get better with women, then you get better women. But there are no unicorns.

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

People say unicorn this, unicorn that. The term is unicorn because it doesn't exist.

[–]radioactivities9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You must first prove yourself worthy to enter the unicorn forest, and then again prove yourself worthy to cross on the unicorn path, and again prove yourself worthy to pass the trees of the unicorn, and then prove yourself worthy to approach the unicorn shade, and then again prove yourself worthy to enter the unicorn sun, and then prove yourself worthy to find the unicorn cave....but then by the time you do that Chad's already got there.

I'd love to read about what's RedPill's standpoint on evolutionary psychology. It has been many times addressed as a pseudoscience and not actually based on the scientific method. However, we all know what our empirical perception of the world tells us.

So, what's RedPill's stand on what we can draw from evolutionary psychology and can we call it real science?

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, because I'm a big fan of evo-psych.

The problem with it is that you can say "and it makes sense that this happens because of its evolutionary benefits", BUT... I've seen almost nothing that says "to maximise our genetics you would expect that XXX happens and indeed this is what happens in the real world when we knew to look for it".

It's a real science if it makes statements that are provably true, can make predictions previously unknown, and could be proved false if it were not true.

I don't feel qualified to write an article about it however.

[–]PranksterLad 0 points1 point  (4 children)

My god, I can't get over my ex, literally destroying me. Becoming obsessed, now on anti-depressants, been a year and still not fucking over her. I don't know what else to do anymore. Its driving me insane.

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Ok.... can you post this up on asktrp and then drop me a line and I'll try and help there.

[–]I_AM_CALAMITY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black Knighting is my all time favorite content. It really flips the idea of pedestalizing on its head which I always need.

[–]The_M0rning_Star -1 points0 points  (1 child)

I'd like a post on my number one issue of TRP: how alphas don't fuck betas. The ideology of plate spinning, while lots of fun, is the epitome of beta behavior. Alphas don't fuck anything that will spread her legs...they fuck the best one. Alphas don't eat just anything...they take the best part of the kill. Because to take anything less than the best would *devalue their status and make them not alpha.

The devaluing of women into wet-holes-that-sometimes-clean seems to be an extension of that mentality. If they are only objects, I can take whatever I want and still be alpha, because women have no value and therefore don't effect my own value. Well, but if they have no value there is no best version...and an alpha wouldn't even bother with it. Why would an alpha ever work to obtain something with no value? Why would king conquer a nation who had no resources, no strategic importance?? Especially when right next to that country is one with diamond mines and white sand beaches? Riddle me that, Gandalf.

*and please, I'm old enough to know that if you're fucking 3 different chicks a week, they're some combination of broken, lonely, or crazy as shit. There's nuuuu fuckin' way you're fucking 3 package rating (not just body) of 10's a week. Not even doubting your Casanova skills, there's just literally not enough women like that for you to do that that frequently.

I know this is long but you're a mod thingy, so I took the request seriously.

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Men are not hypergamous and neither should they be.

Why would an alpha ever work to obtain something with no value?

Men work on themselves, women are not of value to men other than sex and social credit.

*and please, I'm old enough to know that if you're fucking 3 different chicks a week, they're some combination of broken, lonely, or crazy as shit.

Thanks for your concern trolling, but I disagree.

There are no quality women. It's a blue pill myth.

[–]TheRationalMale.comRollo-Tomassi 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Challenge accepted. I'll write something exclusively for TRP.

[–][deleted] 44 points45 points  (1 child)

Very pleased to hear this. Love content but not mindless banter about the sidebar 10x over.

[–]AlwaysFlank 19 points20 points  (11 children)

I've been thinking you could make a sub for trp for people still in the anger phase, that way there's a separate place to vent and to discuss

[–]Senior Contributordr_warlock 24 points25 points  (3 children)

Ignorant people don't know they're ignorant.

[–]AlwaysFlank 1 point2 points  (1 child)

But they can be made aware of it. Whether they listen is a whole different matter, but people generally do come here for advice

[–]TRP VanguardHumanSockPuppet 3 points4 points  (0 children)

If they can't be convinced, then they won't be herded into a place they think they don't belong.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (3 children)

They would just feed off of each others hate though...

[–]1legedu 3 points4 points  (2 children)

They're doing that now in the main sub

[–]AlwaysFlank 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Exactly. People step in to talk to them too, which could also happen in the angry sub

[–]Battle-Scars 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Part of TRP is allowing members to go through the anger phase and to let them work through it at their own pace.

[–]AlwaysFlank 1 point2 points  (1 child)

And what better way to support that than to have a whole sub dedicated to it? Obviously it would need mentors as well

[–]Battle-Scars 4 points5 points  (0 children)

And what would be next? 18-24 year olds? Short men? North Americans? Newbies?

Everybody's angry when they come here, some more than others. This has only been a recent problem with the growth of the sub, it'll work itself out.

[–]1empatheticapathetic 3 points4 points  (0 children)

But I was finally going to throw my smartphone down that well this weekend and finally be free of its sorcery. Guess I could wait another 2 days.

[–]Tomato_Dog 3 points4 points  (1 child)

I'm actually kind of surprised this sub doesn't already have a system like the steroids sub, where you can only post after being verified with proof of 3 months of activity.

[–]StressVsStrain 2 points3 points  (1 child)

[–]Party_Olive 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's about time for TRP to make the next step in consolidating the valuable and practical information that some of the great contributors have provided over the years. I've been lurking for nearly two years and made some minor comments here and there, but I have noticed a transition in the TRP philosophy from being primarily focused on male sexual success strategy to a male life success strategy.

In short, there's an abundance of very good information out there. However, many high quality posts and new theory end up getting their two minutes of fame (getting upvoted in this subreddit), and are soon forgotten. The sidebar is a very good introduction to the key tenets of TRP, but has not been updated as the philosophy continues to grow.

I wonder what the 'TRP elite' have to say on my thoughts here.

[–]WeightsNCheatDates 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In on this!

[–]trp_ocd 1 point2 points  (12 children)

Maybe it should be full time. The resonating theme of comments these days are how dilute the submissions are with purple and beta takes...

[–]heartbroken_nerd 10 points11 points  (11 children)

You do realise that most endorsed members of this community came to be through repeatedly posting threads with excellent insight? In fact, this is a common practice for moderator team to reward the best posters with points, one at a time, until they eventually become endorsed contributors.

If we deny regular visitors the ability to post new threads, we lose what this community has been built upon.

[–]bunnyRoids 5 points6 points  (10 children)

That's a good point.

I'm also concerned about the recent focus on hunting down said "moralizing fucksticks who disrespect our elders," as it suggests that the "elder's" point of view is the only right one, and discourages discussion and growth.

If TRP is ran like a top-down dictatorship, it's only a matter of time before the concepts and strategies outlined here become obsolete or inefficient in the view of the changing world. Just as we must constantly focus on self-improvement, TRP itself must grow and adapt to the new realities. So far that's been the case, but shutting people out for questioning things is a self-imposed death-sentence. Such discussion cannot happen without the occasional challenge to the old views.

After all, questioning things is what led most of us here to begin with. We must continue to improve on all fronts.

[–]Senior Contributoradam-l 8 points9 points  (6 children)

Disagreement with the "elders" is more than tolerated. Disrespect is not.

The distinction is simple. For example, instead of writing "Adam is an idiot to advocate going with prostitutes", you write "Going with prostitutes is not good for you because...". Just avoid making things personal, and you are good.

That is, as long as you are pro-male, i.e. you don't covertly try to undermine the male collective effort to build winning strategies in today's sexual landscape.

Adam

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yup. Keep two points in mind, and you're always golden

  1. Rule 0, why are you here?

  2. Respect the tag. It's about the idea, not the person, stow the ego

You can do whatever you want, with any mod or EC, if you remember those two things. Entitlement, soapboxing, or lashing out are what the bans for, not being correct

[–]bunnyRoids 1 point2 points  (4 children)

Agreed. I think it would be helpful to rephrase comments like "moralizing fucksticks" to something along the lines of "people who don't add to the discussion or launch personal attacks" - ie. what reddit's up/down votes were originally intended to be.

The current phrasing reeks of children fighting in youtube comments, and I think it could only serve to set that as the status quo, causing more problems than solving.

A focus on worthwhile discussion and civility vs personal conflicts would do good.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (3 children)

naw, fucksticks works better. The language is purposeful, to filter out the sensitive and ego invested.

Calling men faggots is a time tested tradition, and should have never gone the way of PC. Shame and crudeness are wonderful tools, for good reason

[–]bunnyRoids 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I know what you mean, but it sets tone that'll be copied by commenters (especially new ones), and will inevitably result in arguments and stupidity. Lead by example, so to speak.

[–]radioactivities9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fuckstick - you can get rid of it, Or keep it around for years! Fucksticks, fucksticks They're fun for girls and queers.

...it's only a matter of time before the concepts and strategies outlined here become obsolete or inefficient in the view of the changing world.

First, the "New Here?" section of the sidebar isn't even read by probably 90% of the posters; some who've been posting here for quite a while. That particular stuff doesn't change. It's the core of the philosophy and most posters aren't bothering to even read the short stuff like Michael's Story.

Tbh The Manipulated Man changed my life. It seems very few here have even bothered to read the original red pill point of view. It was written in 1971. Not much is changing there either; by no means is it obsolete.

Watching Sandman videos and getting angry at women for utilizing the advantages available to them is as stupid of a way of thinking as getting angry at people who can afford an expensive car, for buying an expensive car.

And that's the kind of shit that gets posted here constantly. Mad little neck-bearded boys who are angry that someone else gets entitlement and all they get is their dick in their hand.

Life only hands out participation trophies for half the participants; your gift is the pleasure of getting to earn your trophies.

[–]bunnyRoids 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Not reading the "required reading" is unfortunately the #1 problem on any forum. Hell, a while back there was a news article with a catchy headline - something like "people don't read articles before commenting on them" - and a body that said "this is an experiment, and if you DID read this article, do NOT comment on it." People commented en masse.

I don't know how much control mods have over commenting access, but it would be nice to setup some kind of quick questionnaire (based on the required reading/sidebar material) that you must answer 100% correct before being able to comment. Ten questions with four options each would give enough permutations to eliminate guessing.

Hell, this could even be off-site via something like Google's online forms. Correct answers = username in a whitelist, and a bot to automatically delete comments from posters not in that whitelist. It's doable.

[–]refusewool 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent news. These weekends are a great idea.

[–]Spurnout 0 points1 point  (0 children)

[–]CyberninjaZen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This sounds good. Lots of threads here have been bad lately.

[–]dancingkungfy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't wait and appreciate the effort that is going into this.

[–]Uzinero 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome, I hope this becomes a regular thing.

[–]Mudmen12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i would be happy for this to go for a week.

[–]NeoreactionSafe 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I never promise a great post if it's "on demand".

Usually an idea washes over me and I feel inspired enough to "have" to write it so I can release it.

The forced post is never that great.

[–]AyeAmScottishYaCunt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm sure it's just a case of "if any of you have something in the works then this weekend is your chance to showcase it"

A big reveal if you will.

Not necessarily that you need to slap bang any old bit of nonsense together just to be included.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Great idea, this could be useful in many other large subs in fact.

[–]Roaring40sUK 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Apologies, I will be unable to attend this event due to a weekend of Rugby (6 Nations!), drinking and plate fucking..

[–]voidwalker13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spoken like a true weekend warrior

[–]ISwallowedRP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't wait for it. And do this more often please

[–]Xeloda85 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Learn, focus, improve.

Been hitting up the gym, gains are awesome. Gained 3lbs in muscle mass over the past week.

Also been going with a buddy to single pitch softball tournaments.

Where/what are some primers for good openers for cold approach at a non venue like this ? I've been too reliant on tinder/online game lately. I need a refresher .

[–]furyzen1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's always good when you know some fresh content on TRP comes! Thanks!

[–]ReavyJoster 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One post about gay red pill just not too qeer

[–]Vajesticles 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can't wait. This place has been dying for a good cleanup.

[–]fixzzz123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can we get some pro input about story telling? What are some role models, who we can follow and are amazing story tellers? Movie examples, etc? I'm sure loads of people will find it useful and will contribute.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

God damn, this shit gets better and better! Good job mods.

[–]OilyB 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Also, will we have some kind of party when we hit 200K followers? We're closing 180. Mods?

[–]-Petulance 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Been waiting for another one of these

[–]PM_Your_8008s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What does it take to get those stripes? I don't think I'm in the running, but I'd be interested to know if you guys still regularly keep tabs on people and give them EC flair for good work.

[–]ralphnlauren 0 points1 point  (0 children)

While I appreciate a lot of the psychology stuff and things about women that are posted on here, I do wish that a lot of the ECs (since they are older) make posts giving their version of life advice. I could do a post giving advice to younger guys below the age of 25 as I am in my late 20s but I would love to hear more about life advice, what makes life so awesome as a man when you get older, and the many promising experiences that await men after the age of 30.

While VasillyZastev (can't even spell it right) did an awesome guide about life after, I hope other older ECs and mods give their version of it. Not only just life advice but also what has made their life in their 30s so amazing.

We see so many "advice for your 20s" posts all over the internet from sites like buzzfeed, I would like to hear such posts from you guys.
