Red Pill TheoryFrom Professor and Clinical Psychologist Jordan B. Peterson on Beta Males and the Dominance Hierarchy (self.TheRedPill)

submitted by redditdawg11

Recently I was listening to Episode #958 of the Joe Rogan Experience with Dr. Jordan Peterson, and was struck with some RP truth that may solidify some readings posted here.

What I'm talking about specifically starts around 1:28:12

A little background on Dr. Peterson: He is a strong proponent for free speech, and heavily criticized by pink haired marxists and their white knight in shining armor beta-male "allies". https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HAlPjMiaKdw

They start getting onto the topic of male sexual strategy from an objective standpoint. The typical Beta-male white knights that come to mind with the word, psychologically "create their own version" of a male hierarchy simply because they cannot, by choice, compete with classic male structures. Think about that for a second.. Sound familiar? The guys who don't lift and work day after day to improve all aspects of their lives, have to mentally devise their own distorted reality as an attempt to make themselves feel better about their situations.

This also applies to sexual strategy. Alpha, Omega or Beta Male, all men have urges to reproduce. If one cannot compete with Chad (due to their own lack of motivation mind you), one must try a different method. Doctor Peterson goes on to discuss how these passionate, pathological Beta-males who bolster up the feminists, compete against the Alpha Male as "allies" of these women. We all know how attractive women find that. These men literally think that by siding with women on issues, regardless if they actually believe in them or not, will one day be able to score with said women. This is the Blue Pill.

Consider yourselves lucky that you are now awake to the reality of sexual strategy due to this community and keep improving. The whole episode is packed with RP truths, i recommend it highly.

We all know how attractive women find that. These men literally think that by siding with women on issues, regardless if they actually believe in them or not, will one day be able to score with said women. This is the Blue Pill.

It's worse even than this. It's not always directly about "do as she asks so that sex can be had later".

When you are sexually frustrated with low options, you give high status to people who can solve your problem, ie women.

People with high status are instinctively believed without much thought. They are instinctively supported and their actions justified by lower status people. The high status people then present a worldview to the low status people that benefits themselves, disguising it as being of benefit to the low status people. This works because low status people believe high status people.

In the case of finance, this means CEO's persuading the people on the shopfloor to "all work harder for the greater good".

In the case of women, this means persuading men to support her against other men and to demand support structures and legal help to do so. Or demanding that she isn't slut-shamed for banging Chad, implying she might just fuck Billy Beta if only the judgements against her would stop. Or saying to her husband how she'd love to have sex, but she's tired from doing all these dishes for 20 minutes a day.

All sounds logical and good. But really she's calling the shots and the man is trying to appease the person of high status - and few people in our society have higher status than an attractive young woman - if you doubt otherwise, ask yourself who the police would listen to and believe without evidence.

The peculiarity in the case of beta males is that by doing as they are told by women, they are sealing their own sexual fate and maintaining their own low status as supporters of (and therefore lower status than) women.

This causes a vicious circle of betadom: pedastalise women, serve them, get less respect, SMV disparity causes increased pedastalling.... and round that loop they go their entire lives, always hoping to meet "the one" or hoping to have their wife be as sexual as she pretended to be before marriage.

GREAT comment here.

The point about high-status people presenting a manipulated worldview to low-status people is important. This works both on a micro-level (the sexual marketplace in your neighborhood bar) and a macro-level (the top 1% of society dominating every one else).

Isn't it amazing how colleges teach about equality and social justice while simultaneously plunging 70% of the current generation into significant debt?

Our country is run by a top .1% finance interest that hides behind the smokescreen of liberalism, globalism, progressivism, humanism, etc.

The sexual marketplace isn't even run by Alpha Males any more. It's really the hot girls deciding who is ultimately granted status. And of course, they hide behind feminism, equality, and other BP myths.

[–]FatStig points points [recovered]

It's really the hot girls deciding who is ultimately

Women are the mediators of the sexual market but they are easily manipulated. They don't win really. They just don't compete.

[–]zephyrprime 4 points5 points  (0 children)

They judge. They don't fully compete.

[–]Endorsed ContributorJamesSkepp 11 points12 points  (4 children)

Our country is run by a top .1% finance interest that hides behind the smokescreen of liberalism, globalism, progressivism, humanism, etc.

And of course they are not hiding behind conservatism, nationalism etc. Not at all.

[–]blister333 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Yea this is far more likely. Hell, us corporations have killed thousands upon thousands of people in foreign countries in an effort to stomp out left leaning ideology

[–]BigBrotherZiggy 0 points1 point  (2 children)

A distinction is important, though. There were wars waged because companies wanted to kick out communism? Yes. But things aren't so black and white as left vs right ideologies. Globalization is far more profitable, at least for the .1%. That means their business extends not only to the US, but to the whole world. A cliche example would be George Soros, but I'll give an actual example instead of simply being paranoid about him: look at the recent Hungary's president Viktor Orban clash with Soros founded institutions due to their influence on national politics. Won't go far into it cause this is not the politics sub, but it's a great example.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Please elaborate. Also interested in your opinion on Orbán's actions.

[–]BigBrotherZiggy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've only read a bit about it, and I'm not even European, so I don't have that much of an understanding of Hungary's politics. What I did in this case was look at what Orban said vs what his opponents said. Quite honestly, going further into "the mysteries" of politics takes time, and I find it really depressing. Is it necessary? Yes, but it's not like I work with it, so I spend my time in worthwhile goals. Those were just my 2 cents, always try to look both ways. Truth is we can't know whether "the plan" is to shove conservatism or liberalism in people's mouths. All we can do is be logically equipped so as not to be fooled, and expect not to be fooled(we're never fully logically equipped). What some call conspiracies are a deep rabbit hole. If you're into it, go forth. But in my case I think it just takes too much time of reading blogs instead of doing real shit

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I love this thread. What examples are some more examples of high status people presenting a false world to low status? Would chad lying to billy beta be one?

[–]Frenetic_Zetetic 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Incredibly true and accurate comment. That's why I say "everything is sales". Persuasion is the name of the game at all levels. Bravo, brother.

[–]bigk12345 11 points12 points  (3 children)

Your comment is so spot on.

Women today, especially in the workplace, feel like they are so entitled that you are in idiot if you don't put up with feminine imperative and agree how she is a princess and how she is always right.

This comes from moral superiority but also, self inflated ego. Bitches think they are high status because every Joe Blow bends over backwards to do work for her, get her drinks, so why aren't you, masculine manly man? Is that because you are insecure?

The US election and Trump victory just showed how deep the feminine imperative is. It was her turn, so a MAN took away from what she is OWED.

I had a woman tell me flat out how women are superior to man, call me a boy and just accuse me of being a Trump supporter because men voted him in. Of course, the same woman feels up my chest and shoulders :)

I think Rollo said it in Mark Baxter's podcast, that women , in their heads, think that Trump will literally destroy what they have and built up to this point. It is not about equality anymore. It is literally about female supremacy.

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 12 points13 points  (2 children)

women , in their heads, think that Trump will literally destroy what they have and built up to this point.

All women have built thus far is a support structure for themselves and legally entitled privilege - paid for by men. Women pay less tax, do less work, get more health care, more payouts from the government and more payouts from men.

And it doesn't show any sign of reversing anytime soon.

[–]badDayAtBerchdsgaden 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If its not going to be reversed any time soon, what was the point of electing trump?

[–]Cronyx 3 points4 points  (2 children)

You basically just described all of society. This is like a "grand unifying field theory" for sociology. The question is, now that we understand it, how do we fix it?

[–]Senior EndorsedMattyAnon 9 points10 points  (1 child)

There is a permanent vying for power between organisations, people, thought processes.

What I'd like to fix most of all is the lies. Have some straight talking.

But people don't like the truth when it's ugly, they prefer the pretty lies. So the truth loses and people (usually men) suffer as a result.

I try to tell them. They don't listen. What more can one do ?

[–]urinalcakeeroding 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The truth loses in the short term, but Peterson argues that truth wins in the long term, and I agree with him.

A tribe led by a man who speaks the truth will be more stable, more competent, more harmonious. It will outcompete the tribe led by a liar.

The modern world is a comedy of dysfunctional tribes, but that just means it's unstable. Just leadership will always emerge with time. That is central tenet of all of our mythology.

[–]TRP VanguardArchwinger 107 points108 points  (18 children)

There are two kinds of male feminists.

The first is a guy who's not bad looking and is socially outgoing. Throughout his life, he's never had problems meeting women and getting sex and relationships. He typically lives somewhere fairly liberal and travels among liberal, sex-positive social circles, and the strong, independent women in those circles choose to have sex with him, because he's good looking, fun, and social. He, of course, has no problem with feminism, female choice, or female sexual strategies, because women are choosing to have sex with him. He considers himself a feminist, and might say, "I don't see the point of The Red Pill. Why can't those losers just do what I do? Hating women is stopping them from getting laid. They should be a feminist like me instead."

The second is a guy who's average-looking or worse, and only average socially at best, who's never had much luck getting sex or relationships. But he's friends with lots and lots of women, none of whom want to date him or have sex with him. However, he's certain that if he stays the course, remains friends with a bunch of girls, meets their friends, and continues to expand the circle of girls he knows, while supporting them, siding with them on women's issues, and being a stand-up, decent guy, he'll eventually meet the right girl. Maybe one of the girls he knows already will even realize how great he is and how he's always been there for her... He considers himself a feminist, and might say, "I'm better than those Red Pill assholes. I don't have to resort to their tricks and their hatred. I'd rather be the biggest 'beta' in the world than lower myself to doing what they do and thinking what they think!"

Generally, Red Pill, anti-feminist types like us fall in between those two extremes. When you don't naturally get girls and have to learn about their nature and various tricks that work to get you laid, it's a lot harder to be a feminist and respect women.

Anyway, one type of feminist that definitely doesn't exist is the guy who's average looking or worse, average socially or worse, and had trouble getting relationships and sex, but after taking the time to really understand women and their issues and become a feminist and support more women's causes, women really appreciate his personality, see something special in him, like him for it, and decide he's worth dating and fucking.

[–]Tajikistan points points [recovered]

I think the most hilarious thing is that the honest male feminists who aren't looking to get laid are the men's rights guys who are trying to have a discussion on both genders...and they're absolutely loathed by the feminists and shit on to the point of totalitarian censorship at the institutional level. That's why it makes no sense for a guy to be sympathetic toward them; because it's long since become a radical power struggle.

[–]morexel 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Men's rights is literally a trigger word for intense anger amongst most people now adays.

[–]redditdawg11[S] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Awesome insight Archwinger, that is really true I never saw it from that angle.

[–]FatStig points points [recovered]

Generally, Red Pill, anti-feminist types like us fall in between those two extremes.

I think they are also more intelligent good looking guys who are easily brainwashed as children. For me it was almost a lightswitch, just by changing my attitude women were throwing themselves at me.

[–]blackberrydoughnuts 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can you elaborate on the "lightswitch" change in attitude? Was it realizing you don't need to put women on a pedestal?

[–]WhorehouseVet 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Accurate to a T. Your first description of a male feminist fits will with the current Canadian PM Justin Trudeau.

[–]badDayAtBerchdsgaden 2 points3 points  (0 children)

God, all of the fucking retarded articles that came out after the election focused on his looks, it made me want to puke

[–]TheYeti01 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Wow this is spot on accurate.

[–]Shaman6624 5 points6 points  (0 children)

If feminism would be about giving women equal rights I would also be ok with it. But considering it is misused by morally bankrupt SJW's and what have you to serve any agenda... it's not that trp hates feminism it just hates people using a legit movement as leverage for unrelated personal agendas through manipulation.

[–]greatslyfer 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with your whole post except with the minor note that we don't fall in between those two archetypes as we are not feminists.

Feminism in the western world is not a truthful depiction of what goes in with women in the modern world, and that's why we don't buy in to that. We are more logical in that sense of honestly trying to understand the dynamics between both sexes and point out harsh truths that were twisted to us in the earlier part of our lives, hence the RedPill.

[–]All-DayErrDay 1 point2 points  (5 children)

The second is a guy who's average-looking or worse, and only average socially at best, who's never had much luck getting sex or relationships. But he's friends with lots and lots of women, none of whom want to date him or have sex with him.

So what exactly are these naturally ugly or below average looking guys gonna do that's gonna change their situation? They are just naturally unattractive. That's why they are in that situation and I don't see much they can do to change it.

[–]sa5dc 0 points1 point  (4 children)

can u elaborate on this? i think i fall under this spectrum

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Lift, dress well, work on your skills and hobbies, read everything and anything you can (even things you may not agree on).

[–]sweetleef 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Women aren't attracted to appearance alone, they're attracted to status and wealth. If attractiveness significantly increases them, it could be sufficient. If the guy has status and wealth for other reasons, appearance is meaningless.

[–]grewapair 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have status and wealth and I'm a 4 in appearance. The only women who don't run from me are extreme users. They want to use me and will never be even remotely attracted to me. If that floats your boat, fine, but I can assure you it isn't any fun. You cannot purchase attraction.

[–]mancozbi 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I really agree with you u/Archwinger. Thanks. It's not feminism that is the problem. Strong, independent feminist women are having lots of sex with cool, fun positive men. In fact feminism freed women and allowed even encouraged women to be sex positive and sexually active. The problem is men with inferiority complexes, men who don't understand that women (feminist or not) only respect and are sexually attracted to confident, assertive, interesting men.

[–]Helloitsmemofos 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Woah, that pretty much hits the nail on the head.

[–]TRP_MushaShugyo 158 points159 points  (27 children)

So many RP fundamentals confirmed here, perhaps the most engaging three hours of my life. I've listened to it twice already. Joe says it's his favorite podcast of all time.

[–]GR8AGN 40 points41 points  (7 children)

It was crazy how true that statement he made on male feminists. I always wondered what would drive any straight male to act the way these male feminists do, but what he said made perfect sense.

[–][deleted] 38 points39 points  (0 children)

They're setting themselves up to have a 50-50 Chance of raising their own child, which is significantly better than the 0 they've got going for themselves now

[–]Colorsinthevoid45 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yep. I've thought the same thing Peterson said before...but never explicitly thought of them as being sneaky. I think that's a very accurate characterization.

Sometimes I think they've also convinced themselves, which really just makes them delusional.

[–]FatStig points points [recovered]

I noticed when I'm looking around I agree with the feminists. Most men are disgusting, soft, losers. They make my skin crawl.

[–]buclk 20 points21 points  (0 children)

I noticed when I'm looking around I agree with the feminists. Most men are disgusting, soft, losers. They make my skin crawl.

Why so negative? They may be soft, but they're not disgusting or losers. They're just who they are, and although they may not understand the bigger picture when it comes to themselves and women, that doesn't mean they can't be good people.

To go a little Freudian, if they make your skin crawl it might mean you don't accept your own blue roots, and you particularly hate who you used to be.

Don't be disgusted by other people (or yourself). If you think they're weak, do something that might help them in the right direction. Just spitting at them won't help.

[–]WhorehouseVet 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Maybe just your selection bias, you're probably just looking at beta faggots to come to your conclusion.

I'm looking at the people in my gym and i have to disagree with you. Just selection bias.

[–]redditdawg11[S] 54 points55 points  (6 children)

I would agree brother, I loved every second of it. Joe definitely has a hard on for those Canadians.

[–]Rooibosisboss 28 points29 points  (3 children)

To you and everyone

Go to J peterson youtube, watch THIS YEARS Maps of Meaning lecture series, there is urgency in his message and so much to be taken from it, I'm not a a clinical psychologist or looking to become one, but the class transcends that, some stuff may go over your head, it did mine, but if you are somewhat not retarded you will get so much from it, rewatch if you have to, i know i will.

[–]TRP_MushaShugyo 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Will do, I've been meaning to- it looked awesome.

[–]TRP_MushaShugyo 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Also, saw in your post history that you tried his future authoring program- looking forward to doing that this summer, too.

[–]plenty_of_eesh 24 points25 points  (1 child)

Listening right now.

I've heard him on JRE before, wasn't bowled over, but this time it's like a constant stream of Wow moments and incredibly thought-provoking lines...

Anyone who likes it should look up some Joseph Campbell talks.

[–]ModeratorPaperStreetVilla 30 points31 points  (2 children)

As much as Joe is a pot smoking hippie, he gets old school masculinity, and he intuitively understands it's under attack

[–]MeetCake 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Dude this Joe Rogan guy has more black belts than I have teeth. He can smoke this and hippie that any day he chooses. He's earned it.

[–]Sinborn 11 points12 points  (6 children)

I really enjoyed all of it, except the part where he brought up kekistan. He admitted "I don't know what's going on" but he seemed genuinely concerned.

I mean, afaik it's a well thought out troll of gender identity/trans politics. The reality and the mockery are indistinguishable from one another, so much so that Dr. Peterson can't tell the difference.

[–]ModeratorPaperStreetVilla 25 points26 points  (5 children)

he's 50, what did you expect? Memes and 4chan?

[–]teolinzo 2 points3 points  (0 children)

About to start my second go through. This man is a genius perhaps one of the greatest intellectuals I've heard speak and help advise my generation.

[–]ITS_JUST_2015_BRO 54 points55 points  (4 children)

Come on man put the JRE link in there.

Now clean your room

[–]analyticaltoafault 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You in the JP memes sub?

Some of the best memes around.

[–]redditdawg11[S] 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Thanks for compensating for my laziness

[–]Baron_Bathory 39 points40 points  (4 children)

I know Peterson, he's amazing. A warrior in the cesspool of leftist idiocy that is University of Toronto. He and a lady that works with and supports him are basically being told by the board of directors that they have to change their opinion or the university can't guarantee their safety. Positively absurd. Of course there is also a tranny prof at U of T that constantly tweets racists and sexist blurbs about white males with no scientific backup and "it" is allowed "it's" right to free speech. Seriously I can't take this nonsense anymore... Something has to be done.

[–]Future_Alpha 24 points25 points  (1 child)

can't guarantee their safety

Wait, so the campus police won't do anything if he is attacked?

If I were Jordan Peterson, I would say that I can't guarentee that my attackers won't end up in the hospital.

[–]1jb_trp 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Jordan Peterson is killing it lately. I keep seeing him everywhere and it feels like he's the next prophet sent here to redpill Western society.

Also, whenever I see video of batship crazy SJWs and feminists it's always at the U of T? Why? That's where you see Big Red, the Warren Farrell protest, etc.

[–]Baron_Bathory 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Big Red is from UofT really?? I didn't know that lol! I would assume it's because it's a large first world city. Pretty much every large first world city on the planet is a cesspool of radical Marxist nonsense. Helped by the fact that our cucked prime minister is selling out the future of our nation to foreign interests while he will retire in a gated community in the middle of whiteville with millions of dollars. 50 Years ago he'd be on treason charges.

If you happen to be one of our starred and striped brethren, can you kindly ask your President to conquer Canada and escort that traitorous fucktwat to the gallows? Thank you :)

[–]skoobled 14 points15 points  (2 children)

It's not quite that. The idea is to tear down the current system (where you can't profit), and replace it the a different system where you can profit. It's classic Marxism. So ironically, It's actually accepting dominance hierarchies, but wanting one where you end up on top

Understanding this explains an awful lot about the world. And particularly revolutionism

[–]analyticaltoafault 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes, his statements regarding relative poverty and sucj are spot on and very relevant in the world.

[–]TheFoxxi 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Listen to this podcast. It's a god damn red pill salad.

[–]whenfoom 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Read Nietzsche's Beyond Good and Evil.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

This one was a really good episode (Joe Rogan is awesome). A lot of deep thought, it's a good thing.

[–]jeff_vii 14 points15 points  (3 children)

Peterson has been on JRE 3 times now? (not entirely sure) but always delivers wisdom. Rogan is a lefty at heart but got to give him credit for giving equal platform space for listeners to make their own views

[–]beam_me_up2017 points points [recovered]

Rogan is a lefty at heart

One can be on the left end of the spectrum and still be pro-masculinity. It's just that the left rarely argues on behalf of men because they're focused on gathering votes from everyone else. :\

[–]prodigy2throw 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is a clip from the JRE podcast where he highlights the male dominance hierarchy and how women select for men based on that.

Pretty much the foundation of TRP explained in about 20 minutes. Jordan Peterson is the truth

[–]7thAnvil 22 points23 points  (1 child)

I've listened to the entire podcast (well worth my time). It's notable that Peterson stated that he just recently started thinking about male hierarchies in sexual selection terms. The overall impression I got is Peterson is just starting to wake up to Red Pill truths but has a long way to go. I love Rogan but he is as blue pill as it gets when it comes to his view of women (he's pretty much a blank slate eagalitarian). Both of these guys (who I very much admire) would greatly benefit from Rollo Tomassi's books. Joe Rogan desperately needs to have Rollo on his podcast. After listening to dozens of Rogan's podcasts, I get the sense that TRP is the missing link in his overall reasonable world view.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

By "recently started" he mentioned he was looking at it in an interview from 2014. I think he means recent as in the last 15 years :P, or at least since Maps of Meaning has been released.

[–]yomo86 4 points5 points  (1 child)

I always love those SJWs and their communist attitude to disrupt events. Those were the exact same persons who would fall in line easily just out of fear in actual communism. Somehow the Berkeley clashes were some form of outlet. From white supremacists, Biker, Trump supporters, PoC patriots to people who just supported free speech everyone bashed the shit out the commies who are used to being pampered.

The dude just went in, pulled the plug and the power dynamic shifted from teehee antics to shit gets real if we continue.

[–]redditdawg11[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You're right, they want to put their big boy pants on (sorry for assuming gender) and get all up in arms about issues they don't even know about because they never allow themselves to hear the opposing view. They would indubitably fall under the weight of an oppressive communist, big brother type govt.

[–]_LoneWolf37 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"Consider yourselves lucky you found about Red Pill"

I love that, that's good, thanks

[–]skrrrttt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When a civil war breaks out you'll be able to tell a good guy by his physique

[–]Zohso 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah. Listened to it at work yesterday. One of my favorite Joe Rogan podcasts.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Listening to Dr Pertersen's lectures have really helped me out recently.

Holy fuck. I watched that podcast too, but I never thought about it like you explained it.

[–]LeoMacht points points [recovered]

While Peterson is keenly familiar with dominance hierarchies in our species, he would hardly advocate for a "red pill" philosophy.

One's acceptance of evolutionary truth does not necessitate that they follow a specific ad hoc orthodoxy. To the contrary, Peterson mocks movements like MGTOW and would hold disdain for something like TRP. He's a traditionalist and a Christian for whom sex isn't merely a physical phenomenon, nor does he view sex as some kind of end-all-be-all goal for men like many on here conceive it.

Peterson advocates marriage, steady relationships, and finding meaning in these relationships - he would lambaste you lot for confusing your pleasure with something that will make you happy - as pleasure and happiness are two entirely different things. He would never advocate something like "spinning plates" or portraying a dishonest, cowboy-ized image of yourself to lure women into this facade and have meaningless sex with them, most likely ending in emotional distress for the woman.

[–]Endorsed ContributorAuvergnat 3 points4 points  (0 children)

portraying a dishonest, cowboy-ized image of yourself to lure women into your facade and have meaningless sex with them, most likely ending in emotional distress for the woman.

Damn! Is that it? I've been doing redpill wrong the whole time!

[–]sweetleef 4 points5 points  (0 children)

lure women into your facade and have meaningless sex with them, most likely ending in emotional distress for the woman.

This shows an ignorance of "red pill philosphy," and a severely dismissive view of women.

The hapless women are "lured" by the dishonest brutes and duped into giving away sex without a suitable return. They are incapable of deciding for themselves what they want to do, and incapable of enjoying sex as sex - instead they exchange it for a "meaningful" return such as "marriage and steady relationships," which they are cheated out of by the evil red-pillers. Being denied their compensation, they are, naturally, "emotionally distressed" victims.

Is that how little you think of women?

[–]pfffft_comeon 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You're confused. There are levels to this.

[–]Cunt_Robber 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I partly agree with your points because you make valid arguments. But what do you mean by "most likely ending in emotional distress for the woman?"

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (8 children)

I didn't like Peterson that much in the first podcast this year or late December, but I truly enjoyed this one. There's nothing wrong with being left or right it's just mostly the assholes who take things too far that should not have power on either side. Extremism is an issue on both sides. In Canada it's more left wing psychos and here it's more right wing psychos in power.

[–]TheSlicemanCometh 8 points9 points  (6 children)

Total bullshit middle-ground fallacy post modernist nonsense. Clean your room you fucking pleb.

[–]TRP_MushaShugyo 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Let me guess, right wing psycho.

[–][deleted] 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Let me guess , smug "centrist" type.

You fall into one of three groups:

  1. The kind that hold middle political positions because they are afraid of what people will think of their unpopular beliefs. They want to minimize friction. Useful when you are trying to appeal to the most amount of people. Still makes you a pussy.

  2. The kind that don't really care about politics/ are unknowledgable on the subject, so they just say "both sides are right XD" to avoid a debate that reveals their incompetency. The individuals in this group lack conviction.

  3. The group that genuinely believe in centrist opinions. In which, case you are a retard for taking middle stances on moral issues that are often binary.

TLDR: kys

Triggered much? Like I said I'm against extremism on both sides. It was pretty interesting to see you project that onto me though. I hate the deep right wing for being jingoistic, bible thumping retards who simply fall in line for authoritarianism. I also hate the deep left wing for being pussies, and trying to instill the gender pronouns as if it is some concept that will be easily integrated into society through punishment. That shit won't fly in the US that's for sure. That's mostly stupid identity politics though, and I care less about that than actual policy itself. Not all things are binary and it depends on context. However it seems those that claim self-righteous morality tend to be the biggest hypocrites. I do have unpopular opinions, but mostly keep them to myself. "Think as you like, act as others." That's a pretty common RP tenet repeated through here. Anyways I probably fall into something more along the lines in a true spectrum (not the US standard of politics) as socially liberal and fiscally conservative. I believe in personal liberties as being very important. I'll probably align with the Democratic side until the GOP stops trying to take away every freedom imaginable. Also the whole treason thing isn't a very good look for them. This sub is filled with Kremlin right wing propaganda at times (mostly during the election season) bashing European countries. The nerve of people enjoying prosperity imposed by NATO and American dominance of basically the globe and they follow a fucking pawn to Putin (who's goal is to undermine Western democracy). That's not to say WD's don't have faults and certainly not the Democrats, but in my opinion it's far better than the alternative, for now.

Sure, don't state your controversial opinions if you want to get laid, but you are anonymous on the internet. You don't have to wear mask when you can say things here with zero consequence.

Like I said I'm against extremism on both sides.

So is everyone, you are basically saying "I believe irrational and crazy beliefs are bad". Cool dude, you base your political belief on tenant that literally everyone agrees with.

I believe in personal liberties as being very important.

and yet you prefer the party that openly values the group over the individual.

Criticizing the pussy shit that Europe does is not Russian propaganda.

they follow a fucking pawn to Putin

Ive seen this all over reddit recently, I'd love to hear one piece of evidence that Donald Trump is in bed with Russia. As a self identified centrist, surely you value rationality and minimal bias? Believing in Russian collusion with no evidence is showing otherwise.

TBH fam, the "act as others" line imo applies more to heirarchies like in business but less so in the sexual market. I am a political extremist not shy at all about my beliefs and I can tell you truthfully that, while women will initially be taken back, once you stand your ground and back up your stance with logic and show conviction and strength in your stance, that shit will get you laid. Women will be like "wow, this guy knows some shit that other people dont. And hes not breaking frame so he must be right. Im down."

This middle ground view is exactly what allows extremists to legitimize their views. Google Overton Window.

I think one thing a lot of TRP would benefit from in this podcast would be when, after Peterson absolutely brilliantly deconstructs post-modernism from its roots with Derrida and the French school in the 60s and 70s to today, Joe asks him about the possible role of a few powerful actors orchestrating the entire SJW movement (basically asking about "the Globalists" without explicitly using the term) and Peterson shoots it down.

Cuz that whole tip some of y'all are on is whack.

The concept of Alpha and Beta doesn't actually show itself purely in humans.
