Red Pill ExampleAWALT: Pizza Delivery Edition (self.TheRedPill)

submitted by [deleted]

Guy on Quora tells story of his worst customer ever

And guess what, there's some AWALT goodness at the end.

Copy pasted for your convenience. Original link

Customer calls up, places an order for pizza. It’s a new customer, so we don’t take the order until we verify it. On the phone, the customer tells me she’s going to go to Wal-Mart, but she’ll be back before the pizza delivery guy arrives. I tell her we can’t place the order unless she stays at home until the pizza delivery guy arrives, because the odds are pretty high we’ll be able to deliver it as soon as possible since we’re slow. Either that, or she could wait until after she gets back from Wal-Mart to place the order. She says that’s fine, she will stay at home. Okay, I say, so I place the order. She pays with a credit card, and I tell her the credit card has to be present so we can verify it at the door, and she says okay. Done deal, we hang up the phone. I send my roommate and long time friend who has a fiancee to go deliver the pizza. And I’d like for you to understand something about this guy. This guy is quiet, you cannot get him to raise his voice when he is angry, because he doesn’t get angry like you or I do. He’s the most mild-mannered, polite, hard-working, efficient person I know. Until just recently, he hasn’t had a lot of luck with women because he’s too nice and has difficulty approaching them. But pretend I don’t know him at all, and see if what happened next is still okay.

He gets there in 25 minutes, under the estimate of 30 minutes. Like I said, we were slow, and I told the customer he’d likely arrive early. She’s not there. Instead, there’s her 15 year old daughter and no credit card, because mommy went to Wal-Mart.

That’s fine, I’m just a stupid pizza guy, and I have no idea what I’m ever talking about, certainly not as the manager on duty, so no need to pay attention to the conversation we just had on the phone. You go to Wal-Mart and ignore what I said about not leaving the house and not leaving the credit card behind.

Driver is one of the only drivers I have that night and I do have other orders. He made the delivery on time and cannot wait. He’s gotta come back. He’s back in ten minutes round trip, most of it driving. I know, because I was a driver, and I know how long it takes to make that trip. I didn’t get 7 different orders delivered in one hour with one car because the trips take that long to the addresses close to the store.

Anyway, I digress. Driver comes back, I set the food aside, and cancel the order. If she wants, she can come swing by after she’s done with Wal-Mart, since her house, the Wal-Mart near her house, and the pizza place are all within 3 minutes’ drive of each other. Make it five to be on the safe side. Ordering delivery doesn’t make any sense here, but it’s your dime, lady.

So I get a call 30 minutes later asking where her damn pizza is. I tell her it’s here at the store, because she was not at home. She says she was at home, and I tell her that the driver told me someone at that address answered the door. So then she says she was at the store, but she was only gone “but a minute”. I told her that I reminded her on the phone that the delivery wouldn’t take very long, but that her food was still warm, in our warming bags, and we’d even be willing to make her fresh food if she just swung by the store in her car. And she was like no, I want it delivered. So I go fine, and I take her order again, and ask her if she’s paying cash or card. So she says she already paid, and I tell her that payment was cancelled when we couldn’t deliver. So she gets angry and says her money “better be back on her card tonight, or else there will be hell to pay”. I tell her that I cancelled the payment on my end, but her credit card company or bank is in charge of the time frame it takes to get the money refunded, it’s something I cannot control. It can take about 3 business days, depending on the institution. But she’s not listening, she wants her money back NOW! I tell her that I have already done my part, which is to cancel her payment, but the charge already occurred, and it takes her bank or credit card company up to 3 days to do their part, something I have no control over. Then she asks me why the pizza isn’t free since we screwed up. At this point I say “Ma’am, the driver delivered the food on time with the promise that both you and the card would be there to receive it. I’ll make you fresh food and send it out to you, but you still have to pay for it.” So she was like I already paid for it, I’m paying twice for some late food. At this point I give her options.

Even though it wasn’t our fault, I was willing to give her a discount if she would come pick up the food at the store, and she could pay cash or card. She could also pay credit card again and we’d deliver it again, at full price. Or, she could pick up the food that was still warm, and I’d give it to her for free, but I wasn’t going to remake it fresh. I just wanted to make her happy. She was like I’ll pay to get it damn delivered. So I say fine.

And then, it happened. She was like “And by the way, your driver said horrible things to my daughter. He was hitting on my 15 year old underaged daughter and probably was gonna rape her, and you’re charging me for some late pizza. I should call the police on your ass for having a sexual predator out there delivering pizzas.”

At that moment, I felt a quiet but unfathomable rage boiling up from within. She had gone too far.

“No, Ma’am. Not only would my driver never, ever, ever do such a thing, but if you were a mother who cared about your daughter, your first action would have been to call the police if my driver injured or touched your daughter in any way, shape, or form. You do not use rape or sexual harassment accusations as a way to bully people to give you some free pizza. If you believe any of that actually happened, and you are a mother with any soul or conscience, what you just said to me would have been the very first thing you said to me in this phone call, as it would have been your top priority, not getting a discount on pizzas. If it had actually happened, you wouldn’t be ordering pizza from this establishment, at all, let alone haggling with me over the price of it. You are a horrible mother and a horrible human being to use your daughter in such a craven way. Don’t ever order from us again. Don’t ever accuse anyone falsely of sexual assault or sexual harassment again unless it is actually true. These phone calls are recorded and I stand by everything I just said to you. I don’t want your business, don’t ever call back.”

I’m supposed to be polite to customers, even when they upset me. I think I succeeded just then, because I promise you, that was the polite version.

Strangely, my roommate never got that police report filed against him. How odd.

tl;dr BP grows some balls when AWALT cries rape to get pizza

[–]1kick6 153 points154 points  (9 children)

How crass of a human being do you have to be to accuse someone of such a heinous crime for fucking free pizza.

[–]1Sir_Distic 110 points111 points  (4 children)

Every female in America is capable, and more scary WILLING, to do this if it benefits them even slightly.

"oh shit! my boyfriend found out I got drunk and banged Chad. RAPE!!"

[–]violet_smiles 1 points1 points [recovered]

EVERY female is a larrrrge assumption.

[–]1Sir_Distic 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Can you support a claim that it's not true? Because just basing this off the past 2 years of college rape claims by females I'm willing to bet that the vast majority turned out to be cases of 'buyers regret'. As I like to call it.

[–]violet_smiles 1 points1 points [recovered]

I don't think 2 years worth of college experience means 100% of a country female population thinks the same way. Just saying.

[–]1Sir_Distic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I didn't say college experience. I said 2 years of college rape cases.

There's plenty of evidence to support my claim that all women are capable, perhaps not all are willing, but all are capable (morally) of falsely claiming rape if it benefits them. This is based, in part, by all the numerous college rape claims made in the last 2 years alone that turned out to be false claims.

[–]MelodyMyst 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately, people like that exist in droves.

To answer your question: >than.

[–]Luckyluke23 1 point2 points  (0 children)

she did it because she knows she can get away with it. I got told I'm not "culturally diverse" for a job the other day.

guess what gender I am...

if you guess white cis male... you would be corrent.

[–]HardworkITrust 224 points225 points  (13 children)

Guess I can chime in. Worked the non-emergency police help line for around 6 months, also filed police reports and did company statistics for a short period.

I can say without question that 80% of female police reports are false, lack any evidence what so ever, and aren't even considered criteria for a police report.

Eg: Female calls me saying that she is being harassed by her ex-boyfriend. I have to take down locations of the two individuals involved but she refuses to give me the location of the ex-boyfriend. Right away from experience I know this is going to be one of those voided police reports which is going to be thrown out. I ask when was the last time he has tried to communicate with you, which would qualify as harassment. I'm met with a long pause. Ma'am when was the last time he messaged you, she finally says 2 years ago... So apparently she messages him out of the blue to get back together with him and after he says no, he then contacts her mother she claims it's harassment. In disbelief I start to tell her the general guidelines for a police report and the paper work that's due on both parties and she isn't even listening claiming that she thinks she got an email from him a few months ago. Finally I ask again for location and she says he's in another country... I'm shocked at her stupidity. Does she believe police reports cross countries? They don't even cross states in most cases. I explain to her that she has an international law case and needs to set a court date, after getting approved she may set a court meeting, after a meeting she will need to get a lawyer and so on and so on. She replies then do it for me! I explain I can't and tell her setting a court date alone cost upwards of $1,000 and the actually meeting is somewhere around $10,00-50,000. She swears and says something along the lines of how this is abuse and hangs up claiming cops are useless (not even close to being a cop).

I'm more shocked she thought she was entitled enough to actually get a police report done without any evidence.

[–]1empatheticapathetic 56 points57 points  (7 children)

That's funny man. Would love to hear more examples.

[–]HardworkITrust 140 points141 points  (6 children)

To elaborate more on my experience, majority of false female police reports revolve around harassment, stalking, and reporting disturbances. I had to deal with post-wall hags complaining that their neighbours who just happen to be bachelor males are up to suspicious behaviour. After taking down locations and the general information I ask what exactly is this suspicious behaviour? I'm met with a long pause almost every time which is then followed by "I'm not quite sure" or a vague "like" description of something that is everyday life. They finally hamster together a story such as their car is too loud or they see them meeting with people too late at night. Smoking weed is often used by them to justify their claims (but mainly to imply that they sell drugs which they most likely don't) but overall it's just too weak of a report for us to get working on. I've yet to receive a call from a middle age man complaining about his single female neighbours. Which I don't think I ever will.

But on to some other more important points. Rapes. I received maybe a handful of rape accusations (although you think it would be much more common). Now I'm going on my instinct (which is pretty damn good) and can say out of say the 5 rape accusations I received, only one was true. The older sounding female in question called and asserted "I've been raped" I ask for her generally safety at the time of her call, her location at the moment, where it happened, and other questions I'm instructed to ask. Finally I ask for details and she tells me precisely how she went to the local washroom in the park at 7:00pm and how a man followed in behind her and basically groped and masturbated on her. (Take into account she told me she went for sunbathing, which is a terrible idea as she lives in a bad neighbourhood) I ask for a description and then ask if she can come in to her local police station for further instructions and if she's willing to talk to an investigator (usually to get a sketch done) she agrees instantly and we later connected her claims to a few others and get more information on a man who we think has a serial past of these crimes.

Now compare this to another rape accusation. Keep in mind the person calling is significantly younger. She calls and says "I think I was like raped last night" I instantly know we're in for a frustrating police report. I have to take rapes very seriously so I can't void anything and have to very precisely listen to the bullshit that is about to be spewed. She usually will begin about how she woke up very tired and how she can't remember last night thinking she got drugged. I ask if she has drunk that night and of course I'm given the answer "like a couple of shots only" as we progress I learn that her so called rape happened at her house in her bed with her female roommates home. I have to take this seriously though so I write everything down. But I know what's really going on. She's just embarrassed that her female roommates now know she's a slut. During the call she keeps telling me how she's smart and is nurse, and how she knows something was in her drink and how she claims it was the guy who did it. As it progresses it gets so emotional it's hard for me to even communicate logically. Crying ensues and then her hamster makes her believe it even more. Near the end it gets so jumbled that I could simply put the dots together and prove her story false but I can't do that. It's a serious police report and it goes into further investigation. Oddly the female actually does the paperwork so her roommates feel pity for her and nothing much comes from it.

[–][deleted] 57 points58 points  (0 children)

Great stories man. Also kudos on handling your job like a fucking professional.

[–]cashmoney_x 89 points90 points  (0 children)

Women are so fucking retarded.

[–]Gawernator 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I'm a Private Investigator and can definitely say the reporting disturbances part is true. I've had the cops called on me hundreds of times and it's usually a female, especially older ones with nothing better to do.

[–]Dragon_Garoo 7 points8 points  (1 child)

In Canada they call these reports "unfounded" and it was in all the papers a while ago, how police weren't doing their jobs and putting rapists in jail. After a review, almost ALL of the reports were still found to be "unfounded" because they were all like that.

Highly suggest looking at "Feminism KEK" on youtube. The lighthouse project reviews and reveals these cases and advocates for men being abused by our really heinous system that allows for not just double, but multiple trials for the same crime, if they didn't get what they wanted.

Even worse, there is a bill being pushed through parliament that is going to eliminate any additional evidence, such as texts, emails, phone calls, etc., that prove innocence. Can you imagine if the emails that say "man that was hot, had a great time, let's do it again" was not allowed in court?

This is the state of gynocentrist judicial system in the North.

[–]HardworkITrust 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Very good point you brought up here. Going to elaborate on it as I have some input.

The reason for this gynocentric judicial system is because I was literally the only man working there... there were men who did the investigations but also working along side lots females. Now the kicker in all this is that the females saw nothing wrong with how the law was at the time, being in majority and through majority rules concepts it became a more and more of a PC environment. I've seen men lose there job for making a very harmless joke about how many false rape accusations they been getting. The joke was literally "hey Jim the rapist could be you even." Very harmless but nevertheless he got fired.

The funny part is when I was leaving (even though I told them I was staying for the minimum 6 months for experience) the female hiring manager begged me to stay, my productivity alone was greater then half the female office put together. The females kept putting through ridiculous files to get investigated that conjested up the system. She didn't say it directly but she could of very well just said "you're better then half these women we need you just to keep up our productivity to something reasonable"

[–]OneInAZillion 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I can't and tell her setting a court date alone cost upwards of $1,000

Good. Hopefully this filters out some bullshit so that only the serious (or legitimately crazy) people can pursue legal action.

[–]ziggmuff 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I like this stuff. Thanks for sharing.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

non-emergency police help line

I've never heard of this, so it ain't for nothing but advice correct? and all you have to offer is the most milquetoast example from one idiot? yeah sure.

[–]bubbleheadbob2000 4 points5 points  (0 children)

non-emergency police help line I've never heard of this, so it ain't for nothing but advice correct?

Yeah, this is a thing. It's for help with non-emergency issues so you aren't using the 911 emergency resources for something that isn't an emergency yet still requires LE intervention.

[–]Dragon_Garoo 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dear lord. The hamster is strong with this one. Angry cuz he said no.

[–]1scissor_me_timbers00 197 points198 points  (29 children)

On a similar note, I drove for Uber for a bit, and all the shitty passengers were females.

Picked some girls up at the bar. Girl one gets in the back seat, and as her friends pile behind her, in she climbs over my middle console up into the front seat. I look her dead in the face and say, "uh could you not do that?" She responds not with an apology, but with a shitty attitude, at which point I immediately ordered them all out of my car and cancelled the ride. Gotta be savage with these hoes.

Different ride, girl in my back seat takes her heels off and puts her bare feet on the headrest of the seat in front of her. I look at her and use the same line, "uh could you not do that?" She's like "what put my feet up?" I say "uh not put your bare feet on my upholstery". Her ride partner convinces her to take her feet down and I continue with the ride. By the end she was apologizing profusely. HOLD THAT FRAME NIGGA.

Another ride a drunk girl opens the back door while I'm going 40 mph on a main road. I snap and tell her to shut the fucking door. She says she needed to spit her gum out. "So roll down the damn window". By the end her friends were apologizing profusely for her behavior.

I never had anyone puke in my car but all the near misses were females (go fucking figure).

[–][deleted] 142 points143 points  (8 children)

Every fucking time I ride uberpool the females are all fucked up (not where they're supposed to be, can't find the car, running late, have more riders than they called for, etc...), the guys usually hop in and are like "sup".

[–]newls 27 points28 points  (7 children)

Same reason it's always hilarious to watch the behaviour of medium-to-large all female groups at work. Unless they have a strong matriarch they consistently melt down into catty chaos.

They do this pretty consistently on The Apprentice (UK version). So funny because in the boardroom after it's just all catfights, showing the world our point for us.

And there was that infamous Survivor episode where they basically forced the male group to help the female group after it was clear they were going to die if they didn't get help. After some brief power struggles the male group had quickly stabilised into a content group, the female group was utter chaos. They prioritised sunbathing over basic needs like clean water and food. It's one the highest rated all time TRP posts, go check it out if you want a laugh.

[–]p3n1x 3 points4 points  (5 children)

The Apprentice (UK version), Survivor episode

These are intentionally over dramatized shows, made for woman. Very odd example for RP understanding.

[–]TheRecycledMale 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Who do you think the "consumers" are of the highest rated TV shows? Actually, who do you believe is behind most "consumerism"?

(off topic from post, but not from comment above)

[–]p3n1x 1 point2 points  (1 child)

My point is, why is any man watching and discussing the episodes like a 13yr old girl?

Being aware is one thing, intentionally watching is another.

[–]TheRecycledMale 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No disagreement from me. Not much of a TV watcher myself.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (1 child)

you're a fucking idiot, survivor can be a great show for anyone interested in social dynamics

[–]Gawernator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lol, that's why people watch those shows.

[–][deleted] 63 points64 points  (14 children)

I drive for Uber as well. I've had mostly positive experiences, most girls seem happy to have a college-aged guy who has good taste in music and isn't some creepy old fuck.

My first night, though, ended with a blacked out freshman girl puking her brains out all over my back seat. I even had trash bags ready to go for that very scenario but she pulled the trigger literally the second she sat down. Like bitch you couldn't have done that outside? Still, got $150 out of it and even had a rider said my car smelled nice the next day after I cleaned the shit out of it.

On a side note, Uber in a college down is a great way to meet people without having to blow cash at the bars. Couldn't tell you how many times girls have asked "are you in a frat??"

[–]1scissor_me_timbers00 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Oh for sure most experiences are positive by far, including females. BUT, all of the shitty passengers, rare as they were, were girls and women.

But yes it can be quite a good way to meet people for sure.

[–]perplexedm 26 points27 points  (11 children)

most girls seem happy to have a college-aged guy who has good taste in music and isn't some creepy old fuck.

Stop age shaming, which is a regular feminasty trick to shame men.

Many old people may be far respectful with values taking care of their children, than current day millennial collage rape culture deadbeat loan baits.

[–]Hoodwink 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some people are creepy or have no social awareness no matter the age. Some of them out-grow it. When your old and still creepy, that's when you should watch out.

[–][deleted] 7 points8 points  (4 children)

No age shaming here. If you're an older guy and actually cool - great. I'm assuming you haven't actually taken many Ubers recently. If you're a single girl traveling alone, you don't want to be asked something like "oh hey, why are you traveling all alone?"

Most of the older guys are people who drive 60k cars on a 30k wage with zero game. Unsustainable, and ultimately unattractive. I drive a shitty car but provide value in other ways, and in the end I have much more success than a lot of try hards. Shame me for shaming if you want, though.

[–]perplexedm 15 points16 points  (1 child)

The point raised is not just as a response to your comment, but at a trend within society perpertuated by feminasties these days which men on trp should be cautious about.

No age shaming here.

Calling random old people whom you don't know a thing about "some creepy old fuck", is shaming in multiple levels.

Feminasties use that method to shame experienced men so that youngster have nothing to look at in future. Many shamed men starts to behave rudderless without afterthoughts. It is a vicious circle.

If you're an older guy and actually cool - great.

Same to you.

I'm assuming you haven't actually taken many Ubers recently. If you're a single girl traveling alone, you don't want to be asked something like "oh hey, why are you traveling all alone?"

If you assume every old man to ask this question not minding his own business you have some problem.

Most of the older guys are people who drive 60k cars on a 30k wage with zero game.

They are not gaming 18yr old women into fucking them.

Unsustainable, and ultimately unattractive.

What a crappy bullshit, uber drivers are there to drive cars not to pander as young fashionable attractive whiteknight cheffeurs to bar sluts. Actually, they are perfect kind of people who should be drivers. What if I say young men should find better ways of life.

I drive a shitty car but provide value in other ways, and in the end I have much more success than a lot of try hards. Shame me for shaming if you want, though.

You mean you are a young uber driver competing against old tart men with trp now ? I'll not shame you, hope you know what you are talking now.

[–][deleted] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Yes, I compete with old men. Successfully, I might add. It isn't hard when the competition is absolute garbage. People - both guys and girls - ask for my number often so they can request me in the future. There's nothing RP about being a massive creep. It's not even about age - there's plenty of weird guys that drive that are my age as well.

I don't think there's a whole lot to be refuted from personal experience - both personally, having taken a few Ubers myself in my college years, and from hearing personal accounts from women of all ages. They aren't all bar sluts (although, granted, that does take the bulk of the rides, as I reside in a smaller college town). Many are just the average young professional that need a ride to the airport (no - they aren't hammered on the way)...

I suppose ultimately we just are looking at this under entirely different lenses, and to that I say - touche

[–]p3n1x 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Most of the older guys are people who drive 60k cars on a 30k wage with zero game. Unsustainable, and ultimately unattractive.

Who gives a shit? Being a chauffeur with cool music is so RP, amirite? You are voluntarily agreeing to be someones bitch for a few dollars.

If you're a single girl traveling alone,

Awwwww, you sensitive understanding cool cat you.... Fuck'em, if they can afford an Uber ride, they can afford a solution to the problem.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, what you said is essentially what you do at any job, unless you're self-employed. You gotta do what you gotta do to earn cash. I at least get to pick my own hours and if I want to throw somebody out of my car, I can. So I get some autonomy there.

[–]poonGopher6969 0 points1 point  (4 children)

"Age shaming" we're not fucking tumblr. No one wants an old hag and no one wants creepy old fucks

[–]BigBrotherZiggy 5 points6 points  (3 children)

Except old hags are useless. Men get better with age, as experience increases their value. Women's value is based on looks, so they only get worse with age. Thus, a woman's prime is around 20. A man's prime might be 40 or later, since experience is something you actually have to work for, it isn't a gift from heaven unlike most girls' looks. Age shaming is the kind of thing tumblr users do, ironically. Why? Older men who have seen some shit are "creepy", older used uped hags with dry cum in between their legs are "cougars".

[–]poonGopher6969 -1 points0 points  (2 children)

Bro you need to chill and quit being so sensitive to what other people think about you or people like you. You creepy old fuck

[–]BigBrotherZiggy 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I'm 20. Look around you, women's knowledge doesn't increase her SMV, a man's does. Knowledge comes with age, you can't learn all the important lessons in a year.

[–]poonGopher6969 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don't know why you thought I ever thought that. But tone it down by like 1000 and use your reading skills.

[–]1empatheticapathetic 29 points30 points  (2 children)

Did you write that uber thread of various AWALT stories? Or was that someone else?

It got deleted afterwards so it wouldn't be in your post history.

[–]1scissor_me_timbers00 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I don't think it was me. Although I've seen some AWALT shit.

[–]Senior Contributordr_warlock 0 points1 point  (1 child)

That is not a company vehicle, that is the driver's vehicle. I can never imagine a dude taking off his shoes and outting his bare feet on top of another stranger dude's car seat. Never ever. Not even a friend. Just straight up disrespectful. You were waaay too nice with her. Deserves a scolding and immediate ejection.

[–]1scissor_me_timbers00 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I actually was going to do that but the circumstance prevented it. She was with a friend and an elderly woman relative. The elderly woman was drunk to the point of nausea on the verge of vomit. It was also middle of winter and we were in the middle of the ride. So realistically it just didn't make sense to leave them all, including the nauseous elderly woman on a random street in the cold due to the younger woman's behavior. I was very bristled and would have kicked her out no doubt had it been just some gurrrllfriendz from the bar.

[–]OneInAZillion 57 points58 points  (1 child)

I guarantee that wasn't the first time she's done it, and I guarantee it won't be the last.

If you really think about it, had the manager taken that complaint seriously the kid could have gotten fired, which I'm sure has happened a thousand times before. So she's effectively putting someone under that much fire that there is a possibility that he could lose his job (and further down the line, be labeled a sex offender if that horseshit went the distance) just because she's not emotionally stable enough to accept fault for her own actions.

Welcome to the real world, gents.

[–]dingman58 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Entirely possible she did it on purpose to get a free pizza

[–]Ubernaut84 46 points47 points  (2 children)

Fucking cunts will ruin a man's life for free pizza, nevermind child custody.

[–]InformalCriticism 12 points13 points  (1 child)

Yeah, that's just the best part, isn't it? This was for a meal, not 12+ years of child support and the house.

[–]pri35t 6 points7 points  (0 children)

To top it off. 50% chance she lives off welfare and paid for the pizza using child support money

[–]1empatheticapathetic 78 points79 points  (2 children)

Really enjoyed that story, great writing skills. Very descriptive with the relevant information.

Edit: Realised it wasn't your story but whatever.

Upvote for visibility. Women are clearly the privileged class because men don't deal with enough shit as it is at work, but they have to take shit from women too? No fucking way.

[–]newls 6 points7 points  (2 children)

In a previous job I had a female coworker who was okay at what she did, though not good enough considering her 8+ years of experience vs. my 2 at the time (so she was probably on more money than me too) and I had to constantly explain how to improve her work. Frustrating as fuck!

Plus the beta-whipped office manager constantly listened to her droning bullshit about how she was treated. Bitch you're treated like the dudes! Added to that she was about 15 years older than me but obviously got a free pass for being female.

Bitches can't understand that they're judged on their quality and not how much they get on with everyone. Because they're so afraid of failure (survival instincts) they cling to their title and never dare venture outside of that. "Oh I'm just an X so I didn't want to... blah blah blah"... etc.

Listen to any bitch talk about their job and their first point is so often their assessment of how much they get on with everyone in the group.

[–]BigBrotherZiggy 5 points6 points  (1 child)

This and all of the above is why women can't be in positions of power, even if said "power" is only working in an office. Wherever emotions don't run the game, they're an obstacle. Even in jobs normally associated with women, such as teaching, men do much better. I don't give a shit if 0.5% of women can do it, that's not an excuse to let the other 99.5% fuck society, drive down wages and productivity. Beta males can also be a hurdle, but if they are they are kicked the fuck out because they don't have muh vagina excuse. Do your job or gtfo

[–]newls 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't work in that environment any more but my years of experience there opened my eyes to how many people become lazy and content in being barely competent at their role. Particularly prevalent among the women. The men suffer from it as well but not as uniformly.

Of the star performers, pioneers, and innovators, 99% are always men. Any time a woman appears to succeed at work, it's always because a man's doing the real work behind the scenes. And that man badly needs to read The 48 Laws of Power!

[–]biglaughingcock 71 points72 points  (4 children)

Used to delivery pizzas in high school, can confirm its a fucked up line of work. But as a teenager who was in good shape, I usually got hit on more often than I was accused of being a sexual predator.

[–][deleted] 44 points45 points  (1 child)

You can't rape the willing.

[–]1Zanford 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Sounds like a good example of The First Two Rules.

[–]ovrload 0 points1 point  (0 children)

cant be accused of rape if youre good looking

[–]Exactly_what_I_think 17 points18 points  (3 children)

This customer is always right garbage just makes everything worse and more expensive.

Why are people ass wholes? Because it fucking works.

If you want good customers, friends, coworkers, girls, life? Treat shit people like the trash they are.

[–]dingman58 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Except it didn't work here. And it doesn't always work.

[–]Exactly_what_I_think 6 points7 points  (1 child)

No it didn't work because the the pizza shop did not "hold frame" or even push back. Did they finely when the customer insulated there driver was a child molester?

and we’d even be willing to make her fresh food if she just swung by

That's the point where the pizza shop is catering to bad customers at the expense normal reasonable customers and it's employees. Then it only runs downhill from there. No tip for the driver. No delivery charge and double the food cost.

[–]BlowsBubbles 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Used to work at a pizza place. Was inside answering calls and directing deliveries one day. Dumb bitch ordered a Cobb salad. Wouldn't let the person say the ingredients (because she didn't have a menu) just wanted that and another one for her boyfriend. 45 min later I get a call from her boyfriend very sheepishly asking for another one minus the bacon. I explain we tried telling the woman what was on said salad but she wouldn't let the person who took the order finish. "I can send another one but will have to charge you since it's not our fault." The girl picks up the phone I repeat what I said to the BF and I get this said to me. "You're a jerk. You're racist. You hate my people." I respond "I don't even know you. You're just being overly emotional right now and need to calm down." I hate the owner for bending over for that bitch and sending another one to her. Her boyfriend sounded exactly like he knew she was insane and instead of acting like he had balls just let her bitch and complain till she got her way.

I don't want to derail the comments, but is this really the way pizza delivery works in the USA?

The customer has already given their credit card details and the pizza place has collected the money, why do they need to see your card?

Over here you when you pay online, the delivery guy just gives you your pizza and receipt.

You can also pay by card when the delivery guy shows up. They have those remote terminals you either beep or swipe+PIN.

[–]Crimson_Eyes 39 points40 points  (2 children)

To my limited understanding, it's often done to prevent the hassle of:

Person A orders a stupid amount of Pizza, sends it to person B

Person B gets pizza they didn't order. They don't have to pay for it, but they have it.

Person A then raises hell because "I didn't get my pizza! I don't care who you gave it to or whether I typed the address correctly, you should have made sure it was me!"

Sure, the company can just say "Sorry, too bad, we followed instructions" but it's easier to just ask for the card to be present.

[–]Endorsed ContributorUrsusG 21 points22 points  (1 child)

I don't care who you gave it to or whether I typed the address correctly, you should have made sure it was me!"

It must be one of those "only in America" things.

[–]iceman202 12 points13 points  (4 children)

lol I am an avid pizza delivery order-er. TN, FL, NJ, SC, NC, CALI, CO,

Never once had to present the card.

[–]wheresMYsteakAt 12 points13 points  (1 child)

What color... Is your hair?

[–]Keepnitrealz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I deliver in southern california and honestly were asked to take a card but most drivers don't do it. The only time we actually can't afford to not take the card is when we deliver to rehabs where people use the cards of others quite frequently there.

[–]seius 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah me neither, this must be some whacko mormon shit.

[–]albino_red_head 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've delivered for 3 places and it was never that way. I've ordered from Dominoes paying online and they don't need to see it. It is odd. I mean, assuming it wasn't a huge chain, I would think they'd weigh the trouble it's worth and just leave the damn pizza.

[–]Senior Endorsed Contributormax_peenor 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The customer has already given their credit card details and the pizza place has collected the money, why do they need to see your card?

It used to be pretty frequent. I guess they wanted to make sure you didn't just steal the number from someone else. However, no one has asked me to see it in years. It's not like the pizza guy is supposed to be the sheriff for the fucking bank. My guess is some some Dominos deliverer got his ass beat once so corporate put an end to the practice.

[–]MiracleWhippit 1 points1 points [recovered]

I'm in the US and i've ordered pizza with a card plenty of times. I've never had to show them the card. I've even received pizza without using my card from vendors and girlfriends and given a tip from the card using my own signature despite not being the card holder. In general no one cares. OPs store must be a rare exception because of the store's policy.

If I was the delivery guy I would have had the kid sign and everything would have went fine. They can do a chargeback even with a signature and let's be real - even if you have the signed receipt you're not gonna go to court over a 20$ chargeback, it's just not worth the time and effort. Instead you'll just blacklist them.

But back to your question. If I order from a delivery place with a website or through a service like grubhub I generally do not have to sign at all, especially if the tip is pre-paid.

[–]NolanHarlow 7 points8 points  (2 children)

Likely depends on the area. I'm going to go out on a limb and say that this behavior is common in certain neighborhoods, and entirely unheard of in most others.

[–]anthero 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Can confirm. Didnt have to show a card in chicago, chicago suburbs or new york. Had to show the card every time in miami.

[–]falcon10474 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea when I order Dominoes (don't judge me) online in NJ, they just hand me the pizza

[–]ShekelBanker 3 points4 points  (6 children)

Same opinion here, in Europe and Middle East it's the same process: you use a website or an app that is responsible for the delivery or it's just a intermediary platform, you make a profile including your name and address, you choose whatever the fuck your want from place X, pick pay with cash on arrival or card, then bingo.

[–]MelodyMyst 3 points4 points  (4 children)

Make a profile is one thing.

Continue as guest is another.

[–]ShekelBanker 1 point2 points  (3 children)

You can continue as a guest? I haven't seen this on any app/site which I used. To name a few: Foodpanda (Europe), Justeat (Denmark), Ubereats (UAE, Europe and UK), Talabat (UAE), Foodonclick (UAE/Oman)...

[–]MelodyMyst 0 points1 point  (2 children)

In America... amiclub.com, CharlotteRusse.com, dominos.com, Pizza Hut.com,...

These are a few examples.. not all of them.

I'm guessing that Anybody trying to make a few bucks, online, as a supplement to B&M, walk-in, and online revenue... will offer this alternative, to gain that, right now revenue... not vs. long term revenue...

I don't know what else to say except that this is the thing here in my area.

Friday night, worked my ass off all week, to many tequila shots deep right now to even answer this but I understand your question.

Maybe somebody else more sober can follow up for me.

[–]MelodyMyst 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Edit: there's more to this thought that I've been able to articulate. Continue as guest still means you have to put in a credit card and address and blah blah blah but you are not making a profile to be track and measured. Or at least you're being tracked and measured in a different manner.

[–]IrocD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Color me stupid, but doesn't Charlotte Russe sell chick clothes in the mall, not food to your door?

[–]suddenlysnowedinn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's how it works here as well. But she didn't order online. She called in her order.

[–]TheRealMouseRat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Where I live one usually pay with debit card when receiving the pizza (or cash if you for some weird reason have cash)

[–]SlothOnRoids 19 points20 points  (0 children)

She's probably some miserable middle-aged lady not getting any cock.

[–]MasterPublishing 6 points7 points  (0 children)

...because I promise you, that was the polite version.

Ahahahaha... Bruh

[–]BlakTheory 3 points4 points  (0 children)

She uses her own child with false sexual harassment for free fucking pizza, what else can she do to someone else's child, men or even to her husband. She is not a woman, she is a blood-sucking vampire.

[–]Keepnitrealz 2 points3 points  (0 children)

As a delivery guy I really feel this guys pain of getting held up at a house for an incomplete delivery when there are orders piling. Really feel good about that ending and gonna take this lesson into mind when I encounter future AWALTs.

[–]Reformed65 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It makes me feels sad to think that there are healthy and normal women out there that can't reproduce yet this damaged and fucked woman has that gift and is misusing it to get free pizza.

Her daughter is going to be just like her.

[–]1PantsonFire1234 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hahaha see the thing is in her toddler mind, she was incredibly inconvenienced by the delay payback by her creditcard provider. She took a risk (risk taking ho red flag alert) to go to the Wall Mart anyways and hope she would make it home on time. Her gamble ended up backfiring, again a woman's word means shit. In her mind it was all manipulation to meet her end. Force the Pizza guy to begin the delivery process while she runs errands at the market.

This backfired immensely on her and everything after that was one major bluff because women like that are OCD nutcases. The idea of waiting 3 days to get her precious 10 dollars back would be to much mental strain on her part. To much emotional weight.

She then went all out with all kinds of irl shitposting tactics to make the pizza guy play her game and she took it to far. That's the problem when you give women power. The world is now listening to mentally ill toddlers while honest working men could get burned at any point when coming in contact.

Living in a femenist western society should include a pay hazard against crazy bitches.

[–]LordThunderbolt 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Dude just hang up on her face. Who has time for this shit?

[–]Dragon_Garoo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What a piece of shit human. I've heard so many 'questionable' sexual assualt claims, which were almost always "I was drunk and regret x, y or z", that my former "always believe" attitude has turned to "always question." It's pathetic that anyone would use such a serious claim as a way to bully you for free food. If she was a decent mother and actually believed something happened, she would have called the cops. Fucking douche. Jesus.

[–]Endorsed Contributorex_addict_bro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love you man, but unless you're the owner you'll meet with the same fate as that professor fired from google. Godspeed

[–]TehJimmyy 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Can't you just hold frame and ignore her ? She's clearly nuts.

[–]1mental_models 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Agreed. Crazy and/or Ignorant people do not respond to logic. Block the customer, send the driver home with a free pie at the end of the night. Frame/state/pulse/BP/etc shouldn't be phased.

[–]TehJimmyy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know she cant ignore her off completely but i dont get why would he try to talk sense at the end to a parent who abuses her 15 year old. Its over for those people

[–]mattizie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not really. In this case it worked out very well for him because by letting her run her mouth (and recording everything) she dug her own grave.

Ignore, and she may just go straight to the police, and it's her word against yours.

[–]ytfromsnwcrsh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I once worked in contact with costumers, it was a very difficult year. I`m social and extrovert, but prefer 100 times more backstage work than be in contact with public.

[–]Kuroshiji 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Just reading the story enraged me.

[–]Lambdal7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So, one woman was a bitch. This is the opposite of awalt. Not all women are stupid fucks like this one.

[–]summersss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People bemoan the lack of privacy out there. That everything is being recorded, but it really helps. That recording saved both your jobs. She was too stubborn, this was supposed to be easy pizza, she cranked it up to 11 just to get her way.

[–]Rommel0502 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Moral of the story -

Dont' make pizza delivery into a career.

[–]RedPill_Swinger -3 points-2 points  (1 child)

This is the kind of post that give TRP a bad name. AWALT is not about some damn pizza or a flaky customer. It's about your gf whom you've known since your teen age who'll be riding your brother's cock the day after you pass away.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Oh. You worried what people might think of us?
