Just remember, you don't have to prove anything to anybody. Failure is only as bad as you decide it will be. Nobody can tell you how to live life. Only you can decide what is good. You do you.

Just because you don't exercise or you're not looking your best, doesn't mean you have to feel bad about yourself. There's somebody out there for everybody! You just gotta wait for the right time, and the right person will come along.

Trust me, those girls giving you a pass today, they'll realize they've made a mistake 10 years down the road. Then who's laughing? You are, you big silly manlet! You showed them!

There's simply no objective truth to be found. Everybody's different. Everybody has something that works for them, don't change just because some assholes on the internet tell you that's the only way to get respect and women. Stay exactly who you are. You're good enough just the way you are. Accepting the status quo isn't shameful.

Women can't be generalized either, remember that. Every woman is completely unique and they all have different tastes and preferences. There's a woman out there looking for someone just like you. Never change who you are for somebody else.

This is exactly what I thought when I saw that You're MORE than good enough post, which was ridiculously upvoted.

Every time some jerk writes You're the Prize! I laugh. Less than 10% of men qualify for that. The most basic understanding of statistics . . . you get my point.

The fact that was so well-loved just shows you, well, it shows you something.

The whole You're the prize idea is so counter to the central RP principle of sperm being cheap and men being replaceable. These aren't advanced lessons - dudes should be learning this first thing.

There is some irony in this, though, because another RP principle is Women need men more than men need women. How do you get around this? By thinking about it over a scale of years.

The problem is blurring the distinction between useful advice and lying to yourself for an effect.

Nobody is the prize, it's practically useless info.

But believing you're awesome is a good way to "fake it till you make it."

The problem is when the people giving the advice become so many steps removed from the mechanism they're trying to emulate that the advice becomes useless platitudes.

I'd like to have a go at defending the "I'm the prize" mindset, as follows:-

My position is that "I'm the prize" can be consciously adopted as a belief for better seduction outcomes. It may initially be a lie or not, depending on the individual male in question.

  1. Everyone has a self image of some kind, we carry it with us into our interactions. When new to game a man may have low self esteem, and beliefs like "oh my god she's so gorgeous she'd never want me only rich/buff/cool guys get to sleep with her". These beliefs are lies, and they are unconscious. So it may be advisable to make a conscious effort to replace those beliefs with more productive ones. A male can use conscious lies to replace unconscious lies, until the truth catches up to the self-made hype.

  2. Men are better than women. Is there any man reading this who would prefer to be female? I believe that my life is improving, where a female at my age is suffering a distinct and 'objective' drop in SMV each year, per CH.

  3. I'm the prize, precisely because I believe that I am the prize...women DO value behaviours more than objective or scientifically measurable factors. When I am acting like a high value person, she gets the tingles, and I can make her lose attraction by acting in the equivalent opposite way.

    My real beliefs have a real effect on my real behaviour, which means I really get better reproduction outcomes in the real world with real women.

    An example: when my boundaries are violated, I turn into a narcissistic asshole and make it wildly clear that I won't accept such behaviour. 'She' is hardwired to see this as an 'Alpha' behaviour and verbally complains but gets the tingles all the same. Hot sex ensues. She does not recognize that the argument at lunch time lead to the hot sex at 9pm, but I do. *This is an example from my own life.

  4. The truth can be created. Especially if your target is female and hasn't spent a great deal of time thinking deeply about objective reality.

    Powerful people create truth every day, dark triad people are effective at creating a desired truth in their victims.

    A political example is the 'Axis of Evil' which was created by the US president and was dropped when no longer expedient. Iran Iraq and N. Korea could hardly be described as a tight alliance but POTUS can do things like that due to having sufficient power.

    Other examples of lies that make civilization possible and shape our daily lives are: fiat currency, national boundaries, democracy, freedom, sexual equality. I don't wish to labour the point.

  5. It's only a lie until it isn't.

    Let's assume that the mindset "i'm the prize" was picked up in either TRP or dating/game advice somewhere else on the internet. A percentage of males make no further changes in their lives and remain chode forever. The rest of the men go out and learn game externally, while they concurrently go home and improve their fitness and career. Those men get the sexual life that they desire and refuse to tolerate crap from women for ever after, thus becoming 'The Prize'.

In summary: replacing the lie "she is the prize" with the lie "I am the prize" is in some cases effective, self fulfilling, and as valid as any other belief in the sexual market place.

Oh yea. They aren't doing a lot of 'in crowd' social media. My guess is that Rollo and Anthony are collaborating for something like masterclass.com, but I'm just guessing here.

I've only had 15 seconds to talk to him, every time he moves, 15 guys swarm and orbit him. I swear to god, he knows what its like to have fake tits now.

I will say, the size is smaller than you'd think, maybe 100 people a day, but the crowds change from day to day, it has a cozier feel to it, not like some fucking security conference, or corporate TED talk.

Anonymity is easy enough. Most guys I've talked to just have their Reddit handles, I don't know their names. Never asked, they never offered.

I don't think you'd get as much value as some of the younger guys here though. Joe Navarro was pretty cool with his body language interrogation talk, Rollo's talks were the stuff you probably know already. Steve McQueen would have been right up your alley. If I didn't know any better, I'd say that he's 'john from boston', and you'd definitely get just as much value partying with him in the evenings as you would listening to him talk about online business and entrepenureship. Goldmund is entertaining as shit, and Ivan reminded me a lot of an old user here, ultmatecad. Something about being a 6'4 dude with a hearing aid and a dog at the bar is catnip for chicks. And because of his disability, he automatically gets everyone sucked into his frame, they have to, because if you're outside his direct vision, making straight eye contact, he just won't hear you or know you're there. I may post on causing hearing damage as game. Best trained dog I've ever met.

If you're a suit guy, Tanner is coming up in 15, I'm looking forward to that one.

The only thing I'm not (and you wouldn't) a fan of is there underlying need for a few speakers to be heard. Has a 'testicular cancer' feel to it. I made it a point when speaking to tell the guys that 'no one cares about your problems', but it didn't resonate enough.

the one funny thing though? Guys here are 25 and under, or 45 and older. Other than the speakers, almost no one is in their 30s, not sure what to make of it. the older guys definitely have more game than the younger guys do, on average.

Would I pay the full retail for the event? I dunno. Definitely worth the 50% cost if booked early. Other than rollo, everyone is just so damned accessable. Guys would go down to the hotel resto, and literally see 12 of the speakers having dinner together, come join, have a great talk with all of them.

Little TMI, but it's been fun. Plus,the natural dread for the ol lady back home is funny. I constantly get 'pictures' and pictures of her, surrounded by everyone I love back home.

It's so weird though. There's no physical obstruction. It's self-sabotage, learned helplessness, or plain old fashioned laziness.

The bar for entry is so low, it often baffles me how many guys refuse to crawl over it. By all metrics, I should be a straight up 50% guy. 30% of men literally got out of my way, and pushed me up to the top 20.

I've never related to the you are the prize mentality. You are the prize is the equivalent for low value males as "you are beautiful as you are" for fat women. It seeks to provide antithetical feelings to remedy the ails you feel from the root problem.

If you are looked over and possess little to no social or career value, then you naturally feel shitty as a result. There's nothing dysfunctional about that. Most people are fairly aware if even subconsciously about their standing in hierarchies, but when you attempt to trick yourself instead of compete then all sorts of these problems arise.

Entitlement is a two way street, people tend to believe that feeling entitled is only positive in that you believe you are owed something by virtue of who you are, but the opposite is true as well. Negative entitlement has you feeling as if you are being oppressed by virtue of who you are. If you are feeling badly and have a thought that the universe is against you, that is ego.

99.99 percent of people will never truly trick themselves into believing they ARE the prize when EVERYTHING points to the contrary. What they need to learn and understand is WHERE they are and why they are there, and then make the efforts to improve. The act itself is what inspires positive feeling which inspires self love/respect and confidence. Our self esteem tends to be lowest because secretly we know we are not matching even our own standards of what we wish to be.

It is difficult but as simple as accepting your own mediocrity while also sincerely trying to improve. The sincerity of effort will bring about a fear of failure because you're actually trying now, and if you fail it's actually because you weren't good enough--no excuses. This will inspire a deep fear in most people in which they worry anxiously of failing at something they tried their best at and will question if they have the strength to get back up after that. Having this realization shows you the illusion is brought on by no one but you and you willfully indulge in it.

Advice I was given, when I first joined my first ship in the navy.... Act like you know what youre doing, people will believe you.

Assuming any competence, the least amount of effort, and willingness to move if you're in an ideal Place, there's no reason one can't have enough success to live without starving in the street.

And at that point, women who just want sex won't care if youre a titan of industry.

They want a guy whose hawt, and confident, with a little bit of an edge.

Thats where the prize comes into play.

Someone give this guy a medal, that is 100% exactly how I experienced / still am experiencing my Red Pilling.

Once you start to REALLY work on your mission and yourself, procrastination and "wasting your time", are gone surprisingly fast. And it doesn't even feel that bad. You actually feel good after a day where you didn't fuck up.

However the real fear of real fail emerges and it is easy to slip back into the old comfy zone.

You seem to know this shit and I feel like reading your comment is like reading my own description. I need results not feel good bullshit. Yeah, "I'm the prize" and? My social circle is nonexistent, my career is dead on arrival and my dick would have cobwebs if masturbation wasn't a thing.

The last thing I want is the feel good bullshit that "I'm a man/redpiller therefore I can do this". I'm 100% better off with knowing how the fuck do I get up and improve myself to the point of seeing results than spouting daily mantras in front of a mirror. For all that I know it might be too late for me - and that's not me being overly dramatic but a genuine chance that it's true.

I'm close to finishing "Gorilla mindset" but skimmed through the next book "your own worst enemy" where the author talks about those who for one reason or another didn't put enough effort. Maybe they went full "I'm not a sheeple part of the system" mode and cut themselves some slack playing video games and getting high instead of working on their future, maybe they were reacting to their godawful parents. But for whatever reason they ended up doing this, the result was becoming a loser. And there's lots of overlapping between "career loser" and "sexual loser".

The new guys who stick in this sub are obviously sexual losers coming here to slowly become something less than a loser. But I feel like there's a genuine interest in becoming less of a loser in general. And this need won't be satiated by feel good messages but by actionable advice.

I have been reading and commenting for a year, on my third handle. I am no longer blown away when most racial talk is "don't let it get in your way" while homosexual men are treated really well.

There are two very different prospects in this "you are good enough" statement. A) It increases confidence, that which is per se attractive and useful, certainly what the guy of the other post tried to invoke at the readers and B) It may well cut your motivation to improve, and that's where the danger lives.

This good enough mentality (restricted only to that, its evolution - "you don't have to change, there's someone for everyone, blabla" - is pure bullshit) can be somewhat fulfilling and useful for that confidence that helps with women, but it has to come from a place of self improvement, when you know you are the best that you can be, or at least is sweating your ass off and getting there, not just some fake feeling generated from a post from a random in the internet

The problem with those failed societies wasn't the system but the corrupted elite who abused the system and the people they "governed." I've dabbled in reading on and off for probably close to year or two just out of curiosity. I've gotten to a point where I'm tired and saddened by what I see in this subreddit. People spreading one-sided lies that ultimately promote suffering through overly dichotomous viewpoints. I really doubt any gentleness on my part would make people eventually more receptive to the idea that maybe using tactics against people isn't ultimately the best solution for humanity or themselves. The value of this subreddit I have seen is that it exposes the more sinister side of biological and evolutionary programming in women but it doesn't do so with men. There's definitely a value to understanding why and how people manipulate, but I definitely don't agree with the ego-driven, misogynistic mentalities to manipulate others. We all have hurdles to jump when it comes to our own biology, but it doesn't mean we have to be slaves to it or assume someone is a slave just because of their appearance.

It is really really interesting to me that "people like you" don't seem to consider there is more to life than desire and being desired. The problem is in teaching people how to open their hearts and see how things really are.

There seems to be an underlying adherence to the just world fallacy in this statement. There are lots of people who cut corners in life who come out on top and stay there. Think about it, what “force” is there that prevents something like this from happening, especially given the fact that society in America is so heavily based on competition? Many U.S. presidents and statesman have done lots of nasty stuff and gotten away with it due to inheriting money, power, good looks, or a combination thereof (Eisenhower, McCain).

I’m not saying you need to cheat your way through life, but just be prepared to meet many who have cheated one way or another. Whether you value integrity too much to think about cutting any corners is your choice.

In defense of fact, women do have different tastes and preferences. But it's only in the weightings, and in a single direction.

I.e. tall vs rich, not tall vs short.

This is true with men too. Visit any online community and look at a thread where men post pictures of women they think look good. Guarantee you you'll find "she's so hot" "nah she's plain" debates, face vs body debates. T vs A polls. Etc.

And this isn't just nitpicking. It's important, for instance, that short men, or ugly men, know there is variety in weightings, on top of what the valued traits are, so they can adjust their expectations and strategy.
