Building PowerSometimes it isn't your lack of game but your lack of testosterone. If you have the test levels of a 80 year old cuck how do you expect to have any drive? Here is a science based guide to getting your T levels up naturally. (self.TheRedPill)

submitted by 2Joeycrackem

A little background Info

I have written this post/video to help guys that do not have optimal test levels. I remember before I lifted and ate good I used to have the test levels of a CUCK and would be cringe as a fuck during every social interactions. Upon fixing up my hormones the game actually became a fuck ton easier. Many times your success with women isn't due to a lack of technical skill. You suck because you don't have the drive. You have the test levels of a 80 year old granny you don't even want to fucking succeed. Fix your T levels and come back to me like a rising Phoenix.

How to boost testosterone levels naturally

In this post I will be going over 5 scientifically proven ways to boost testosterone levels, but first let’s talk about why your testosterone levels are incredibly important for your general well being:

Testosterone is androgen hormone that is crucial for the development of masculine traits within males. Testosterone levels are correlated with:

• Increased libido: testosterone is a sex hormone which has direct effects on your libido. Men with low libidos are often diagnosed with having low testosterone levels and are put on testosterone replacement therapy.

• Increased muscle mass: testosterone levels have a direct impact on the amount of muscle mass you can build. Generally men with higher levels are able to pack on more size on their frame.

• Increased bone density: Some studies have actually shown testosterone to play an important role in bone density.

• Decreasing chances of Alzheimer’s disease, various studies have shown low levels of testosterone to having being linked to Alzheimers

• Studies have indicated that low levels of testosterone might be linked with depression, many people who have suffered from low test levels have attested to the huge improvement gained upon increasing their levels.

A general trend has been observed by researchers of men’s testosterone levels lowering over the years. A big decline has been noted over the past 30 years. These changes are most likely the result of changes in the modern diet and lifestyle.

Now let’s go over 5 ways in which you can boost your testosterone levels naturally:

5. Exercise and lift weights

Men who exercise frequently are often associated with having higher test levels. Resistance training (using weights) has been noted to be the most effective method for building test levels up in the short term and long term. So if you want to boost your levels make sure you get on a good strength training program that has you doing big compound movements such as squats and deadlifts.

For beginners I suggest Strong lifts or even the Starting strength program my Mark Rippletoe. H.I.I.T Cardio which involves repeated bouts of high intensity work is often better for stimulating test levels than slower paced treadmill work. If you are doing some cardio choose to hit a bag or do barbell complexes over the elliptical machine if you want that test boost.

4. Minimize Stress and Cortisol levels

Long term stress whether from a boss who won’t give you a break, or unpaid bills can lead to increases in cortisol levels. High cortisol levels are devastating for test levels. Picture your hormones as kind of like a see saw. One of them goes up, the other goes down. You must do all that’s within your power to keep those cortisol levels down. Some things that you could consider doing to lower stress are:

• Meditation ( scientifically proven to lower stress)

• Deep Breathing ( as Elliot hulse says ‘breath into your balls’), sometimes “Deep breathing counters the effects of stress by slowing the heart rate and lowering blood pressure,” psychologist Judith Tutin, PhD, says

• Keep away from excessive use of stimulants, perhaps your 10 cups of coffee a day are having something to do with you elevated test levels, if you still want your man parts to work, perhaps it’s time you ease up on the caffeine.

3. Eat more fat

Sounds crazy doesn’t it? You have always been told to keep away from fat yet ‘dietary fat’ plays an important role in optimizing your natural testosterone levels.

A study published in the Journal of Applied Physiology found that diets with higher amounts of monounsaturated and saturated fats have been shown to increase testosterone levels.

There is a point of diminishing returns however, an appropriate level dietary fat for testosterone production should fall somewhere in the ball park of 25-40% of your daily calories. Play around with these numbers to see what works for you.

Some good sources of fats that you could add into your diet are:

• Avocados ( my personal favourite )

• Almonds

• Peanut Butter

• Olive oil

• Egg yolk ( do not be afraid of the yolk )

2. Increase the zinc in your diet

The mineral zinc has been known to produce a favourable environment for test production; if your levels are low you might suffer. Zinc can be easily supplemented with pills but for the best result make sure you try get most of your Zinc from real foods. Eat the following to increase your levels:

• Protein rich meats

• Fish

• Oysters

• Crabs

1. Get more sleep

This last one should be a no brainer, make sure you are getting a proper amount of sleep and are not walking around like a zombie. A lack of sleep has been shown to be detrimental to testosterone production.

Research at the University of Chicago recorded the sleeping patterns of healthy men and found that the subjects' testosterone levels increased the longer they slept. 7-9 hours was noted to be the best in order to optimize the testosterone response.

An important note: the quality of sleep might be more important than the quantity of sleep. To ensure that you are getting adequate sleep at night I suggest you:

• Have a come down period where you de-load and get away from high stimulus material such as television and the internet. Tim Ferris suggests reading fiction books before sleep to ease your mind.

• Don’t drink too much water before the bed, or you will ruin your deep sleep each time you have to get up and run to the toilet.

• Use a white noise machine or play some binaural beats to ease yourself into bed

So those are 5 ways in which you can boost your testosterone levels. Your testosterone is one of the most important hormones in your body. If you want to live the good life, it is your reasonability that you do all that is within your control to keep them levels high. Just remember, if you aren’t waking up with some oak wood every morning. There is work that can be done! Let’s begin.

Good luck bros

[–]AlphaBro3000 404 points405 points  (63 children)

Missed a big one that I think a lot of us are guilty of, but alcohol greatly reduces testosterone. Keep those weekends reasonable.

[–][deleted] 172 points173 points  (17 children)

I just dont drink anymore. I find the feeling of it disgusting now, and its a waste of money and life

[–]MrJanglesLovesBooty1 49 points50 points  (1 child)

I quit drinking in September. Still have a lot of improving to do, but I haven't felt this good in a long time.

[–][deleted] 30 points31 points  (13 children)

Its pretty much impossible to date young girls in Toronto without drinking :(

Not because of the nerve calming effects but because she will think im weird for not drinking.

[–]Da_Penetrator 196 points197 points  (4 children)

Couldn’t you just drink maple syrup instead

[–][deleted] 26 points27 points  (2 children)

What's the matter? Didn't your mamma teach you how to chug?

[–]TheBigBarnOwl 14 points15 points  (1 child)

Those little bird lips he's got there. I would know, I'm an owl

[–]GutShot9 1 points1 points [recovered]

As a fellow Torontonian, this is just in your head. Drink a straight club soda and nobody will even notice. Just make sure you have high energy and fun playful attitude. I like to have 1-3 drinks on the night to loosen up but you could easily do it sober.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

What about on 1 on 1 dates. Same thing?

[–]JackieBronassis 28 points29 points  (0 children)

1:1 dates are a zero alcohol game. Keep your wits, and good breath. If you absolutely need a shot, drink one vodka tonic, or gin & tonic. Follow up with straight soda water. Only 1 shot per hour, 3 shots per date, tops. Your drinking game is on point, so you can metabolize this easily, while maintaining control.

Drink your drinks slow on dates. Everything you do should be slow and deliberate, anyhow. Show her that you have control in this, as well as every aspect your life.

Beer makes your breath smell awful, and you’ll be peeing every 5 minutes. Best to avoid it altogether.

[–]Nitsujsith 6 points7 points  (0 children)

That a weak frame. You are seeking approval from others

[–]eccentricrealist 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Likewise, brother. Aside from a beer every few months or maybe a sip of liquor if it's a special occasion or it's a rare bottle, I just don't find it worth it.

[–]bbmc7gm6fm 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Sugar and alcohol have ruined many of my days.

[–]Saberinbed 17 points18 points  (4 children)

Stress is probably by far the biggest factor IMO when it comes to test levels. I’m a pretty avid lifter and been lifting for 3 years. probably one of the biggest guys at my gym. When i was blue pilled and went through relationship problems, at the gym i felt like a fucking weak bitch. Never pushed myself. Didint care about working out as much. Would avoid social interactions. would stop being a fun, positive, and witty person that i was before.

Managing stress is crucial, as everyone these days has something that they stress about.

[–]2Joeycrackem[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree bro. I remember one week I was stressed the fuck out and literally lost like 4kgs and was as weak as a kitten.

[–]2Joeycrackem[S] 23 points24 points  (0 children)

That's true brother! Thanks for the add.

[–]yodawg32 49 points50 points  (9 children)

Imagine not attending a party and getting drunk with friends because 'don't want to lower testosterone levels '

[–]MrJanglesLovesBooty1 26 points27 points  (0 children)

You can still party without booze, or keeping it to a few drinks. I'd avoid beer as well.

[–]sweeptheleg55 35 points36 points  (6 children)

They aren't your friends if you need alcohol to have fun. Thats a hard lesson to learn in life. But if you can find people you have fun doing anything with youre gonna have a lot better time

[–]JackieBronassis 12 points13 points  (5 children)

Yep. I quit drinking a year ago. Had to get all new friends. Even ended up hating my best friend. It took some time, but now I have a blast sober with new people, and it is pretty low effort.

Also, if someone thinks you suck because you don’t drink. Fuck ‘em. They don’t have to hang around you.

[–]stretnuh 7 points8 points  (3 children)

How did you go about finding new friends? I'm coming to the realisation that most of my friendships are, to some degree, based around alcohol.

[–]JackieBronassis 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Mostly through the passage of time. I don’t go out of my way to attend social events where booze is prevalent, because drunk people are annoying now. Instead I do a lot of outdoor stuff.

[–]maplemaximus 7 points8 points  (18 children)

Thought big bro was about to mentioning beating our meats.

[–]redd_reality 33 points34 points  (4 children)

Technically, ejaculation doesn't effect testosterone levels. But personally, jerkin it kills my sex drive. Whether it's psychological or hormonal, abstaining makes a huge difference for me personally.

Sex is different in that it's almost a reward for having high enough smv and good enough game. The reward is the payoff for making it to the finish line, so to speak.

[–]alphamystic 9 points10 points  (3 children)

When not jerking, my sex drive goes out of control. I should be locked up in an animal cage.

[–]Endorsed ContributorMetalgear222 10 points11 points  (1 child)

I feel this. In the gym surrounded by yoga pants after 3-4 days of heavy lifting with no orgasms. I borderline think about ravaging even a 6 rofl. The struggle is real.

[–]redd_reality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's like your sex drive is out of control, but your over all level of self control has increased also. The key is to always be channeling it into some productive endeavour and keeping busy, it seems.

[–]TheRealJesusChristus 9 points10 points  (12 children)

Yeah im sure not jerking helps too. Your balls will start to tell you to get the fuck in bed with a girl, and they tell you by producing more testo.

[–]BCA1 4 points5 points  (1 child)

My balls literally feel twice their size after a week of not spanking the bishop

[–]JohnnyDildonics 2 points3 points  (0 children)

And some say the grinch's balls grew three sizes that day :)

[–]CalfReddit 1 point2 points  (9 children)

Yep after 7 days not jerking your testosterone peaks. It declines after that though, so #nofap doesn't bring testosterone benefits

[–]TheRealJesusChristus 5 points6 points  (7 children)

So 7 days nofap, fap, 7 days nofap, fap, etc.... i like this lol

[–]JohnnyDildonics 2 points3 points  (5 children)

this nofap thing sounds cultish IMHO, like all the backed up jizz is no good for your prostate as you get older my dudes. This 7 day thing sounds like a great compromise between addiction and reasonable release, though. That and you can make sure to not have wimpy loads when duty calls and you need to spray some face.

[–]TheRealJesusChristus 1 point2 points  (4 children)

As Im still virgin: whats better? Jerking before a date where you think you gonna get laid or not jerking before it? I mean i observed that i last longer when i already jerked one day.

[–]thefisherman1961 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Beer kills my T more than any other kind of alcoholic beverage

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

When I drink for a few days at a time, I’m always tired, and more likely to be depressed and anxious.

[–]blackenship 49 points50 points  (0 children)

haha basically ever problem for anything is like stop eating like shit. get a regular sleep schedule. and exercise.... so common sense guys take care of yourself for anything.... for mental health... remember we don't love these hoes!

[–]somebullshitrp 145 points146 points  (25 children)

CONCLUSIONS: Glucose ingestion induces a significant reduction in total and free T levels in men

Sugar is literally everywhere in our western diets. Unless you're consciously trying to limit your sugar intake, you're probably consuming a shitload of sugar.

Personally, I believe that the upswing of sugar in our diets in the last 50 years is responsible for the corresponding decline in testosterone over the same period.

[–]Troll_Name 63 points64 points  (8 children)

It's a perfect storm - no one cause is completely to blame.

Diets wrecked. Families destroyed. Schools turned away from their purpose. The engineering of modern society isn't a simple matter.

[–][deleted] 17 points18 points  (6 children)

And just lack of physical activity generally. 50 years ago kids just played played sports outside all summer and during recess.

[–]Rollo_Mayhem3 14 points15 points  (5 children)

bro, we did that 20 years ago... riding bikes over town for miles, handball, you name it...all summer sun up to sun down..recess was the best!...freeze tag, stick ball, kickball, tackle football and the occasional fist fight. you had one busted ass female teacher sitting on a milkcrate, dngaf..

[–]cenie 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Shit, there were days we'd keep going even after dark. Night tag was awesome.

[–]InstigatingDrunk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A perfect storm is pretty good way to describe it. I always suspect the elite are aware of this and encourage this shit to maintain control of the masses.

[–]Mylominderbinder 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Yea sugar is the secret ingredient to keeping people hooked on shitty food.

[–]BigMawsmidget 23 points24 points  (1 child)

You're correct about that sugar at this point is literally worse than any drug save maybe Meth. Only thing about people here and elsewhere they assume you mean fruits or veggies, but I'm saying things like donuts, cookies, or other bullshit like that.

[–]TheRealJesusChristus 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Literally sitting here with a bag of cookies. Had to lol about that... but in reality its sad......

[–]LoneWolf1557 2 points3 points  (5 children)

What about natural sugars in fruits? I eat an apple some grapes and a banna daily but only have 6-12 grams of added sugar a day

[–]BigMawsmidget 21 points22 points  (22 children)

Yup even though this has been told before it's something that everyone needs to be reminded of.

Maybe someone can correct me on this, but fasting does help as well, and no I'm not here to advocate for Ketosis or anything.

[–]2Joeycrackem[S] 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Sometimes we need to come back to the basics.

[–]TorboLeto 5 points6 points  (20 children)

Why do you mention that, are people against keto diets around here or something?

[–]BigMawsmidget 3 points4 points  (15 children)

Because anytime it gets mentioned people around here like to neg it to no tomorrow. Most of the time both it and intermittent fasting are talked about at same time in most posts.

[–]RedPilledGodEmperor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Intermittent fasting and working out in a fasted state are very good for fat burning and testosterone. Definitely notice I look even leaner since I have been doing it.

[–]fanturnedon 1 points1 points [recovered]

Keto is not only unnecessary, but also possibly unsafe. It's designed for fatties who don't have the discipline to learn good eating habits. Just look at the cult like following it has and you'll realize it's just a make me feel good about my shitty eating habits circle jerk. It's come to a point that you can't question it without being insulted because these people don't want their bubble burst and will do anything to protect it.

[–]SKRedPill 22 points23 points  (7 children)

He went from 393 ng/dl to 826 ng/dl in 4 months.

Professional athletes sleep as many as 10-12 hours daily.

Also, beware of xenoestrogens - they're found everywhere in plastic. Drink water or milk or juice only in glass or metal vessels. Nothing hot should ever be kept in plastic, especially microwave.

Get a lot of natural light. If you can, try avoiding artificial light all together and let sunlight dictate your circadian rhythms once a month.

And vitamin K2, damn where was it all this time? That's really healthy for the bones and preventing heart disease. Western diets are terribly poor in it.

[–]1Captain_Save_A_Hoe_ 7 points8 points  (3 children)

Sounds extremely dubious that someone can essentially double their test by adding a few extremely obnoxious minor habits. However I do believe you might be healthier from doing nofap/cold showers&baths for a short period of time before you build a tolerance to it as it boosts the immune system and lets you produce adrenaline.

[–]2Joeycrackem[S] 94 points95 points  (11 children)

Lets get these fucking Test levels up.

[–]redvelvet_oreo 17 points18 points  (4 children)

One thing that effected me for a while and not realizing it was NOT eating enough calories per day. Before TRP I use to just eat a 1200 - 1500 calorie diet while doing HIIT x 2 times a week and lifting free weights 3 times a week. I was in good shape but my T levels were shot. I could not figure it out for a while. Then after deciding to bulk up I realized the difference. Honestly I would get erect after having a good meal and walk around for a while after lol. I didnt really have problems getting it up but with the calorie surplus and lifting I was horny quite often. Also some Alpha tendencies did to flow more naturally then feeling like I had to try all the time.

[–]avocadowithsalt123 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I had similar experience, related to diet. But not woth calorie deficit but with not eating carbs. I was on protein / fat that is low carb diet for years. Everything was seemingly ok but after I introduced carbs to my diet (at moment 2200kcal daily on 80kg, macro ratio 30c 30f 40p) I felt thousands of positive changes.

[–]redvelvet_oreo 3 points4 points  (0 children)

yeah mines was a low carb diet as well. As much as I like a low carb diet I do feel you should not be doing 0 carbs. I think you need some amount to fuel your body properly. I realize in ketosis the idea is fuel your body not using carbs but im not sure how well that works with male hormones.

[–]thisguyPlaysPoE 160 points161 points  (49 children)

Tip# 0: Stop masturbating.

After day 7 you get a spike in test, in your blood(key point) at which point your androgen receptors regrow and take that test to use, as time goes on, you grow more and more androgen receptors, using more of that elevated test in your blood.

this is to reference the dumbasses that say "test goes back down after day seven" it doesn't, your body just uses more of it now that you stopped marinating yourself in your own semen.

Also, not only do I wake up with oak wood, I have oak wood multiple times throughout the day.

[–]warburgio 21 points22 points  (15 children)

Wouldn't sex have similar effects?

[–]markinsinz7 13 points14 points  (3 children)

While all answers are somewhat on point, its oxytocin which is only released during sex and not masturbation. Scoring a hottie gives a high and mental boost similar to a big personal achievement like getting that big job, making big money, or whatever it is to you until ofcourse you get laid regularly with hotties then the oxytocin gets reduced in levels but it's still there cause uve satisfied biological urges

[–]ShadowOfAnIdea 35 points36 points  (2 children)

You can also get that oxytocin by cradling your moobies while you tug

[–]vic_rattle18 21 points22 points  (0 children)

I fuckin hate this sub lol

[–]CocoaDynoBites 62 points63 points  (9 children)

No, your brain/body isn't as stupid as many would have you believe; it knows the difference.

[–]2Joeycrackem[S] 58 points59 points  (4 children)

Can confirm, when I used to fap I would feel tired and lethargic as fuck. Sex has the opposite effect for me.

[–]Augustuscrassus 14 points15 points  (3 children)

I feel this too. Although after sex and the day after I'm usually extremely calm. Jacking off takes 0 effort but sex is a workout. Usually my quads and abs are a bit sore after sex but I skip legs and hate core.

[–]2Joeycrackem[S] 11 points12 points  (2 children)

Them deadlifts are for sex gains.

[–]Augustuscrassus 1 point2 points  (1 child)

To be honest with you, ever since I started working out I last a hell of alot longer than I used to. I'm still recovering from soccer last season. PCL sprain and baker's cyst in my right and left knee accordingly. I have to skip squats at the moment but they help my endurance in bed a ton.

[–]SwanRonsonX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

sorry to hear about that. Maybe lighter sumo deadlifts and machine/isolation work could suffice until you recover? Or maybe dumbbell goblet squats?

[–][deleted] 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yea it must know the difference evolutionarily, because any primate can wack itself off. If wacking off was as rewarding as sex we'd all just wack off all day.

[–]NSFWIssue 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I mean you'd have to be pretty damn stupid in the first place to think that masturbation is in any way physiologically the same as sex

[–]warburgio 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I dont know. With some girls it seems the same, plus you cant throw them to the bin afterwards

[–][deleted] 40 points41 points  (8 children)

Can confirm. When I fap I need like 10 hours of sleep every night and I'm still tired during the day and have zero drive to get laid. When I can manage nofap I am totally good and energetic on 7-8 hours and will actively approach women and magically be very smooth/funny in conversation with them.

I always have trouble going on nofap during the bleak Canadian winter, just not very much to cope with boredom compared to the summer.

[–]reluctantly_red[🍰] 21 points22 points  (5 children)

If I'm sexually frustrated I tend to want to get laid too much -- and make bad decisions as a result. Sometimes I jerk off before I go out just so I can be more mellow -- women can sense it when you're too thirsty.

Regarding winter -- get the fuck out of the house. I lived in Edmonton Alberta for 20 years. Winter was the best time to pick up women (having sex is one of the few things to do when its minus 40 outside).

[–][deleted] 3 points4 points  (3 children)

women may sense you're thirsty therefore more likely to want to fuck as you'll be hungrier as apposed to some sissified loser?

[–]Rollo_Mayhem3 8 points9 points  (0 children)

there is "thirsty" and there is "desperate." Both guys have sex on their mind but one is not pushing it so hard that it's a turn off because he did not take the time to build attraction.

[–]reluctantly_red[🍰] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

"Sissified loser"? I can guarantee you'd never say that to my face.

Regardless, this no frap stuff is total BS.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm assuming you took my reply quite literally, i'm referring to the amount of men who jack off and give their sexuality to the pixels on their screen

[–]Endorsed Contributorvandaalen 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Can you also already shift through semen coloured objects? What about levitation?

[–]_-_--_-_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The only way I can cope with urges is to start doing push ups. I haven't tried jumping in the shower but I don't think it would work well for me. I've been working out like a mad man too. I'm just too starved for dopamine without exercise, I quit nicotine recently too though so I'm sure that doesn't help.

[–]Andgelyo 7 points8 points  (0 children)

You may be on to something. I had a herpes scare last summer/spring and refrained from jerking off because the thought of sex disgusted me. Didn’t jerk off for I believe two weeks straight and when I found out I didn’t have it, I wanted to fucking rip up women. I swear my cock has never been that hard since. Felt like my dick legit grew half an inch from normal size and could’ve broke down walls.

[–]LeafySoy 10 points11 points  (0 children)

I need a source for this please.

[–]xRedStaRx 29 points30 points  (2 children)

Didn't we debunk this stupid study that was not never replicated?

[–]LeftHookTKD 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Yes but retards will keep bringing it up because they need superstitions to grow a pair of balls and do shit

[–]reluctantly_red[🍰] 15 points16 points  (1 child)

No need -- the boost is just short term. I had my testosterone levels checked last month. I'm a bit above average despite being over 50 and masturbating at least twice a day. Indeed it relaxes me and helps me sleep -- two essentials for good T-levels.

[–]RavelsBolero 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That does sound good, maybe I should try it

[–]CalfReddit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Source? Sounds like bro-science. Total testosterone decreased after those 7 days..

[–]spectresinthefog 25 points26 points  (3 children)

Jeff Nippard (youtuber) has a fantastic video explaining numerous scientific studies about the facts behind testosterone in relation to fitness.
I could not recommend his "science explained" videos more. He cites studies, shows the data, and even discusses caveats. https://youtu.be/yoP6NCGb3oM

[–]our_guile 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Just subscribed. I can't believe I haven't heard of him before.

[–]mma13579 8 points9 points  (2 children)

The better advice is to get your testosterone levels checked at the doctors, if your levels are low the only way to significantly increase them is TRT treatments.

Diet, sleep and exercise will only make minor changes to testosterone levels.

It's amazing how much bullshit and bro science is getting upvoted in this thread. Video games? No fap? Sugar? None of these are scientifically significant at all, please do some real research before displaying things as facts.

[–]CirculativeSir 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Exactly. When I was diagnosed with 220 ng/dl I was doing 5x5, sleeping 9+ hours a night, eliminated a lot of stress from my life and eating healthy at maintenance/slight surplus.

[–]GiveItARestYhYh 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Quick Reference list :

  • Lift heavy
  • Improve sleep
  • Eat a well balanced diet / don't cut fat
  • Supplement with multivitamins & minerals (zinc especially)
  • Keep hydrated
  • Take steps to reduce stress
  • Reduce / quit porn & masturbation
  • Lay off alcohol & drugs (even caffeine)
  • Avoid soy & other foods high in phytoestrogens
  • Increase female interaction

[–]S-Blaze 33 points34 points  (5 children)

Video games I used to be a pretty big gamer in my sparetime, competitive games like counter-strike and league and whatever they are easily stressful and shoot cortisol up. Something to take in moderation or drop at all if you want the best of yourself or you're starting TRP and want a quick fix. Fapping is something to drop too. I dont game these anymore or rarely the testosterone benefits are real, mood, more gains, deeper voice, bolder, magnetic, I feel fucking good. Minimize useless stress for a healthier life.

Sunlight and vitamin D also increase test production.

[–]TheRealJesusChristus 14 points15 points  (4 children)

Yeah, i stopped fapping since about 1 week. Just casually not planned. And i didnt shave my beard (it now looks very.... well unclean or something, not really dirty, i wash it, but you know, hair looking in every direction, just wild), and i notice girls noticing me more than ever. I think its a combination of both.

Oh and the last 3-4 weeks we only had sunshine.

[–]S-Blaze 17 points18 points  (1 child)

Nofap is huge. Before it became a ''known'' thing I always avoided fapping for a week or two prior to events/party/date whatever to great success always had girls drawn to me. It just made sense in my mind that I had to abstain if I wanted a girl. But pulling girls and their attention easily is just one of the benefits of keeping that mojo. Real sex is a mutual transmutation so its quite different.

I want the summer, here in Quebec we barely get any sun during winter and the exposure is not enough to really produce vit D. D3 pills help but its not the same thing.

Yeah, costa rica has its benefits. Especially in the dry season. Only sun all day long for almost half a year (only one or two hours per week exception) and even the wet season has a lot of sun.

I just didnt want to jerk off. And when I finally got my lust, i didnt really have the time, so i didnt do it. I feel much better. I always thought nofap people are crazy. They seem to have got something right. I may try to nofap as long as I can. Lets see. I dont have a wifi router right now anyways. This may helps to not watch porn and therefore not jerking.

Don’t know if you need/want the advice or not, but from an “experienced” beard grower get a boar bristle brush and some beard oil. I intentionally go for the wild man look because from what I’ve observed women are tired of the perfectly crafted hipster facial hair. Go figure, women don’t like when a man takes longer to touch up his beard than they do to put on makeup. The bristle bush helps spread natural oils and remove grime from it, and the oil moisturizes. Most women are pleasantly surprised when they think your beard is going to give steel wool a run for its money but it’s actually soft, well soft for facial hair but you get the point.

[–]TheRealJesusChristus 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Wow, thanks. Im 21 and my dad shaves, so your advice is very welcome. I didnt even know there is a beard oil. I will do some more research on it

[–]Kinbaku_enthusiast 7 points8 points  (7 children)

studies have indicated that high testerone is correlated with reduced depression

This is unsurprising. On the big five personality scale, when a man increases his excercise (and thus testerone), it reduces the trait known as neuroticism (or vulnerability to negative emotion). Neuroticism is a measurement of things like (social) anxiety and can cause people to be more avoidant of situations and generally be more withdrawn.

Noteably this is independant of extraversion/introversion. People we typically think of as "shy" are more often than not, high in neuroticism, not necessarily introverts.

Women do not get the same bemefit from excercise.

This is one of the few ways in which personality traits can be modified that i know off. The other is drugs, like mushrooms, that increase your openness by a full standard deviation for at least a year after your last trip.

Which is one reason I'll never take a mushroom trip.

[–]XIIllIlllIIX 38 points39 points  (6 children)

If your testosterone levels are really low, none of these recommendations are going to meaningfully move it.

[–]samenrofringslikeLBJ 1 points1 points [recovered]

Amen, this is like treating cancer with homeopathy. One of the few things you can take that boosts T is onion juice, but the effect is so small that you'd be wasting your time. This has been studied and concluded. If you have low T, talk to your doc.

[–]cheuk209 4 points5 points  (3 children)

Well no because studies have shown you can double ur test in a relatively short amount of time naturally, a quick search on Google will tell you

[–]PipingHotSoup 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I would challenge you to go a little bit deeper into this assertion than "Google says so"

I can find a lot of flat-earth material on Google...

[–]cosmicqueefer69 4 points5 points  (3 children)

Time to test up boys

[–]Bugsy_Corleone 3 points4 points  (2 children)

The cure all. Also don't forget my friends dbol, tren, and anavar

[–]james_the_dean 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Eat Clen, Tren hard Anavar give up.

[–]KillerGTS 10 points11 points  (8 children)

You forgot one, stop fapping to porn, only real sex is acceptable!

[–]Shitonya_Johnson 4 points5 points  (3 children)

Another thing besides alcohol is weed. Stop smoking so much fucking weed. A ton of people don't link the two and it blows my mind.

[–]tboyacending 3 points4 points  (2 children)

Haha Eliot hulse helped me out tons. Pity he doesn't make videos anymore

[–]WISE_TURD 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Vitamin d. Legit raised my total test by 100 (ng/dl) from taking vitamin d supplements for a few months. My vitamin d levels went from 18 ng/ml to 73.

In nature, we'd store vitamin d in our fat cells (usually our livers) during the summer so we had it for the darker and colder months when our skin was covered. Actually, when severely obese people lose weight quickly, they can run the risk of vitamin d toxicity. Perhaps my low body fat worked against me in this regard.

These days, many of us don't get enough in the summer time to last us for the winter. A few years at that desk job and you're fucked.

Note: i'm a caucasian from a warm climate area and a are therefore supposed to be at "low risk" for a vitamin d deficiency. I do, however, have a desk job.

This website's a pretty good resource:

[–]Don_Himself 29 points30 points  (23 children)

you missed some pretty big, easy test. boosters.

Proven to boost test. AND natural human growth hormones multiple times after 3 days in a row of 1 hour 210F degree sessions.

Cold Showers

Or ice baths or contrast showers. Doing these daily will boost test as well as burn body fat

stop walking around all day with your gay smartphone in your pocket

im trying to find the link for this one, forgot where i read it. but this no good, avoid.

Lose body fat %

your body burning fat will cause it to produce more test.

Stop wearing tight underwear and pants

Tights restrict blood flow. You dont want anything preventing blood flow to muscles/genitals. you'll also look and feel more masculine.

start doing WINNING poses much more often

feeling like a winner boosts test, body language is everything, studies show

proven to make you taller, and boost test due to the pressing of pelvis on the floor

avoid BPA plastic

self-explanatory, BPA lowers testosterone

YUGEEE test. booster along with zinc, should be a staple in any athlete's diet.

avoid weed and alcohol

many of you millennial retards will REEE at this one. but both smoking and drinking leads to lowered test. levels. avoid at all costs.

Avoid PORN

another one that will cause millennial screeching. test spikes on day 7 of nofap.

if working out, LIFT HEAVY

strength stress is what results in max test. boost. doing a millions reps of 5lb curls wont boost anything, youll waste your time. stick to a strength gaining program and stick to it until you cant progress on it any further. then switch to an intermidiate one until you cant milk that further. than you move on to an advanced one after squeezing all gains from that.

[–]Ceramic-Fish 53 points54 points  (0 children)

Of all the paranoid things I've heard about smartphones I've never heard someone worry that theirs might be gay

[–]TorboLeto 6 points7 points  (0 children)

  • stop walking around all day with your gay smartphone in your pocket

So you’re saying those ridiculous kids like Lil Pump are onto something with their Gucci man purses?

[–][deleted] 14 points15 points  (4 children)

start doing WINNING poses much more often

‘Power Poses’ Researcher Dana Carney Now Says Effects are “Undeniably” False

[–]Don_Himself 0 points1 point  (3 children)

He was not the only researcher that concluded power poses raise testosterone.

[–][deleted] 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Three researchers suggested it originally and it became a popular TED talk, but one of them couldn't reproduce it later with a bigger sample size. So your mileage may vary.

Adding a more recent link from Feb 2017: https://ideas.ted.com/inside-the-debate-about-power-posing-a-q-a-with-amy-cuddy/

[–]sweeptheleg55 2 points3 points  (1 child)

So much of modern science is theory. On top of that the placebo effect is proven to be powerful so odds are if you believe theses poses make you powerful it can lead to to more testosterone one way or another.

[–]paisleyno2 5 points6 points  (5 children)

Can you site the sauna claim?

[–]Don_Himself 6 points7 points  (3 children)

[–]saladon 1 points1 points [recovered]

Rhonda Patrick got me into sauna again and I love it. But as it shows in those reports, be aware that sauna also increases PROLACTIN.

I've read quite a few anecdotes from bodybuilders that abuse hormones that they start getting gyno or start lactating sometimes following the sauna.

[–]Don_Himself 3 points4 points  (1 child)

PEDs, Supplements and steroids are all designed to destroy you as soon as you get off of them. Your body fucks you forever for messing with the natural order.

[–]Kinbaku_enthusiast 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Sauna Proven to boost test. AND natural human growth hormones multiple times after 3 days in a row of 1 hour 210F degree sessions.

I'm very skeptical of this claim. High temperatures impede proper function of your balls.

[–]jr3jf4[🍰] 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Can hot bath/onsen replace sauna?

[–]Slut_Slayer9000 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Google Dr. Rhonda Patrick. She has some good thoughts on this. She (and Tim Ferriss) agree that a 30 minute epsom salt bath can substitute for a sauna. The main key here is to heat up your body for a prolonged period of time. Sauna is obviously way more efficient, but a bath will suffice. My mental clarity is at its highest when I’m A. Fasting (I typically do one meal a day), drinking lots of water, lifting and doing my post workout bath soaks. I typically read in the bath too so I kill two birds with one stone.

[–]Don_Himself 3 points4 points  (2 children)

i've heard great things about epson salt baths. but remember, 210F degree water bath could feel much more painful than 210F degreee sauna bath

[–][deleted] 12 points13 points  (1 child)

If by more painful you mean boiling your skin off, then yes 210 degree water would be more painful.

[–]Don_Himself 2 points3 points  (0 children)

LOL yep best stick to sauna for sure

[–]Kinbaku_enthusiast 0 points1 point  (0 children)

avoid bpa

And remember that the single biggest bpa booster seems to be touching thermal paper (what most receipts are made off). Absorbed through the skin.

[–]brotein_synthesis 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Unnatural supplementation is certainly not to be dismissed :)

Man, the looks I get these days...

[–]prodigy2throw 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Other than changing your diet, the only real solution to low T is injecting it into your bum

[–]MisterRoid 2 points3 points  (3 children)

I gotta point out that you can have a rock-hard boner even if your test levels are low. I didn't have any problems with my dick when I came off a cycle 1.5 years ago.

[–]redvelvet_oreo 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Agree. I think you may not get horny as frequently though. I use to be able to bust a nut and go again in like 2 minutes. Now it takes a while for the reload.

[–]MisterRoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It seems to vary from person to person, but for me, my sex drive was as strong with low test as it is now. I have always been able to continue immediately after cumming (I prefer a break to regain sensation, though).

[–]clavabot 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Its possible for Low T men to get above average T levels Without TRT and drugs etc. Blessed! I was worried I would need to shell out big bucks to make up for my small balls

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

If you've seriously low T, consult a physician. It's a common medical issue these days

[–]clavabot 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea Imma go get a blood test, I just assume that I have low T

[–]lazy_jones 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Perhaps avoiding Ibuprofen should be added to this list?

[–]FirstNamesMusic 2 points3 points  (3 children)

This post is extremely important.

Do not be like me. Took pro hormones in college (correctly I might add), and it still shut off my natural test production.

I had less test than a 100 year old man for 2 years. Damn it was awful.

[–]robotghow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm stress-free, I exercise, I eat healthy and plenty of meat, and I sleep as much as I feel like, I don't even use an alarm clock. I still can't be bothered to chase after women.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (2 children)

I wonder why it is so difficult to raise testosterone without dangerous or illegal supplements, while raising estrogen is so incredibly easy!

[–]SKRedPill 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It's the way of the man brother... that applies to everything.

[–]BurnDownTheMission68 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Embryos all start as female and it takes a specific hormone to make the embryo male

Female is default

[–]Bugsy_Corleone 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Also take your vitamins (sounds fucking dumb I know). Also a huge one is be conscious of your posture. Walk around with your head up high and your chest out. And look directly straight when walking and NEVER LOOK DOWN

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children)

I have no science to back this up but I've always gotten the feeling that a good competition gets the T flowing as well. Like after a competitive physical game of pickup basketball at the gym.

[–]Method007 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Avoid alcohol, get plenty of sleep, don’t be fat and eat well. There is nothing else you can do beyond that but inject.

[–]Skinnynomore 3 points4 points  (6 children)

Eat Clean, Train hard, Nevar quit

[–]Bugsy_Corleone 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Also, tren hard (if you do it safely) you will feel like the alpha fucking gorilla in the jungle 24/7. But be careful

[–]1pecman 2 points3 points  (1 child)

Unless you’re planning on stepping on stage a casual user never really needs tren.

[–]ImQuitingPorn 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Where can I get more info on that?

[–]Skinnynomore 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s what the train part stands for...lol Eat CLEaN, TRaiN hard, neVAR quit

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Considering getting a bullet journal to help lower the stress based on a post about it the other day. It seems like a really good idea.

[–]FeederPatrol 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I struggle alot with getting a consistent and good sleep schedule and often feel tired. I have tinitus so it makes it hard to fall asleep. Does anyone know anyways that can help me fall asleep sooner?

[–]Stonecoldwatcher 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Drop your electronics a couple hours before bed, write a journal before you sleep, exercise.

[–]Convolva 0 points1 point  (2 children)

You said 'Do not be afraid of the Yolk'. I am just curious; Does that mean I can eat as many eggs as possible or there is a limit. If so, how many eggs with yolk would be appropriate in day?

[–]Endorsed ContributorMarsupian 4 points5 points  (1 child)

No limit. You'd puke or cut into your veggie intake before it gets harmful.

There is a possible exception for certain gene polymorphisms connected to saturated fat metabolism and possibly some other gene factors.

Also don't do it in combination with high sugar, (pre)diabetes, cardiovascular disease, obesity, etc. without tracking small sense LDL particle numbers or medical supervision.

If you get tested for small dense LDL you can actually know if what you are doing is bad for you. If you can't and you are at risk it's best to take it safe.

[–]Convolva 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the reply. I have been on a diet of 10-12 eggs per day for almost 6 months now and have heard a lot of people saying that it will cause me cholestrol and cardiovascular issues. But from what I can see, I gained a good amount of muscle in this bulk cycle with no side effects what so ever.

[–]Rss111 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dont forget your vitamin D3 kids, add zinc, lifting in combo and your are sex machine.

[–]Extremely_Photogenic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My test levels are that of 20 buzz feed try guys but I still am lazy as shit.

[–]quazimodo_007 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On sleeping give at least 4 hours before last meal and sleeping for optimal sleep

[–]Datanami 0 points1 point  (7 children)

What about natural T boosters ? I have tested two so far (bulbine natalensis and rx24), and I do really feel a difference. I also do all the things mentionned in the video, and probably have T deficiency to begin with (for instance, I have literally zero hair on chest and arms, almost no facial hair either)

[–]1Captain_Save_A_Hoe_ 0 points1 point  (6 children)

If they work they are banned by WADA.

[–]Rimefang 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heavy weights/resistance.

Eat good fats.

High protein.

Sleep more.

[–]JcHgvr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What sort of increase is the science behind this predicts ? The range that's considered normal in UK is between 7.6 and 30 nmol / l which is a huge spread. So even if all the above gets you 30% increase (which would be big for natural methods) when you're at the low end of the scale you'd still be at 1/3 of what a high T man are.

[–]03Cobra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Or... just go to the doctor and get on trt. Easy peasy.

[–]everyone_wins 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about a regular intramuscular injection of testosterone? If you don't overdo it, there's really no problem with it.
