Red Pill TheoryThe Death of Santa (self.TheRedPill)

submitted by Endorsed ContributorKeffirLime - announcement

As a kid, Christmas is an exciting time. You look forward to this great magical day when Mr. Fat fuck in his red suit squeezes his ass down a chimney and unloads a horde of presents under your sparkly little tree. There's no reason Santa does this, he just comes around every year to do fantastic magic things for you.

On Christmas day, you eagerly run down the stairs to find fat-ass has devoured some milk and cookies. He's also left you presents! You keenly open them up to see what the elves have made for you. If it's an american home it's usually a pile of overpriced shit so lil Johnny can brag to his friends how much Santa digs him.

You thank Santa and his Red balled reindeer for travelling around the world to give you gifts and then go about the day bouncing off the walls on your Christmas high. Your mind is filled with endless wonder about the North Pole, trees, socks and diabetes.

Then you start to get a little bit older. A little more skeptical. You realize you don't even have a fuckin chimney. Slowly the curtain starts to get pulled down on this magical fantasy, it doesn't quite make as much sense as it used to. One fine day your parents sit you down and drop a bombshell. They tell you that Fatty McFatfuck isn't real.

You don't want to believe it. Hearing your worst fears confirmed hurts like hell. It stings to think that it was just your parents pulling the wool over your eyes. There is no Red Nosed flying reindeer, there isn't even any elves. Just some 12 year old in Pakistan working 16 hours a day so you could tear open presents.

Christmas is never the same again. You'll never wake up again with that same fantasy fueled excitement, filled with hope and wonder as to what this Christmas brings. Now, well, it's just Christmas. A standard day, doing standard things, rooted firmly in reality. You still enjoy Christmas, who wouldn't, it has many enjoyable aspects, but the magic is gone.

Swallowing the Red Pill is a very similar experience. You live with these grandiose visions of women and love. You grow up thinking there's a soulmate, your very own unicorn waiting out there just for you. Someday you will meet them , time will slow down, doves will fly out of your asshole, you'll fornicate under the stars and love each other until the end of time.

Then you start interacting with women. You realize it's not quite as fairy tale like as you thought, there isn't even doves. You get a bit more skeptical, you start to see some gaping holes in your fantasy. You're chivalrous and honorable, protective and brave, yet you're not the prince she desires. She'd rather have Todd the butler with the bulging biceps, who glazes her face and never returns her calls.

You log onto the Red Pill and they confirm your worst fears, unconditional loving fairies aren't real. It hurts and it stings and you're angry. There is no soulmate princess who's gonna come and kiss your froggy balls. Woman aren't the soft fluffly little bunnies you thought they were. She doesn't even love you for you, she only loves what you offer.

Once you've seen the other side there's no going back. Just as you can't ever believe that some bearded buffoon is coming on a sleigh to deliver you presents, you can never believe in your soulmate, or virtuous women who love your dear old personality.

You'll never love women the same way again, just like you'll never love Christmas the same way. You know full well that every woman you meet's love is contingent on your behavior.

There's no peaks of infatuation like you had before, when you thought you had found "the one". When you thought your love was unconditional and could last forever. Reality can never compete with fantasy. Your experiences with women will forever be tainted by the truths you now know.

This may seem like a dampener, hell, sometimes even I wish I could just go back to being blind for a bit, and truly experience blissfully ignorant love like I did before. The highs were great. The lows were pretty damn low too though. When you don't know why what works works you usually cock it up somewhere along the line and every thing comes crashing down in a ball of tears, tissues and wankathons.

What you have now though is power. Once the Red anal suppository takes hold you'll never experience the highs like they were, you'll experience reality. You'll experience content and comfort, you'll make peace with the world as it is. Most importantly you'll experience power.

When your expectations are congruent with reality, you are able to shape reality. You'll know what to do to make it work for you and when it doesn't you'll know why. Your joy will be for what is, not what could be or should be, and eventually that will be all you know and it will be enough. There's a day that Santa/Fantasies died for all of us and instead in his place we just have Christmas/Truth. Make peace with it, enjoy it and have a merry fucking Christmas.

I will never experience the high peaks of oneitis as before. But thats fine, as I know the truth

[–]Endorsed ContributorDownvoteToDisagree 127 points128 points  (3 children)

But on the other hand, you'll never get the low lows again either. Being in control of your sexual destiny will keep you hovering at content-to-good most of the time.

To continue OP's analogy, it's like becoming an adult with a good paying job. You buy your own Christmas presents now, and you'll never disappoint yourself... but you can't recapture that innocent, overwhelming joy of surprise when you were a kid on Christmas

Life is an endless wave and things like TRP decrease the amplitude

One of the consequences of maturity is realizing mania must be eventually be followed by depression. Best to grow out of the mania

[–]TheDevilsAdvokaat 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I found living with a woman is like living on a roller coaster...some really great ups but some really huge downs too...and it's out of my control; I just try to hang on while they're being manic then depressive.

But when I'm single it's more like riding on a train; some gentle curves and slopes but in general a much smoother ride.

[–]geo_gan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Sort of similar to those joyous amazing wanks when you were a kid before your dick became totally desensitised to wanking.

[–]GLADmyNAMEaintDICK 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I feel a oneitis high with myself on occassion. This is a natural high that must be earned through resolve and dedication to whatever you want to accomplish. I do not allow it to persist and I quickly ground myself. (Law of grandiosity)

We want easy creamy validation from a woman, someone who says we are enough no matter what. Only we can give ourselves that, but its not easy. In fact nothing that was easy ever satisfied me, including a psycho obsessive dime who worshiped me.

[–]snowie42 17 points18 points  (1 child)

I won't love someone as I used to do. But I am glad that I won't feel the lows as bad.

[–]TheDevilsAdvokaat 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Same. I literally can't; it's been decades and it just doesn't happen any more.

But at the same time I'm not as devastated when things end. (got divorced in August after a 12 year marriage and I'm fine.)

[–]HeadingRed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's some good wisdom - took me a while to get to the "That's fine" part.

[–]woodquest 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I will never experience the high peaks of oneitis as before. But thats fine, as I know the truth

It's alright, being wise, being in the know has it's high, its rush like nothing else.

[–]Drummerboy860 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But that's fine, as I know the truth

But it's not fine. I'm guessing that you are experiencing a relatively chronic emptiness.

Once you discover that "the cake is a lie", the natural follow-up is to ask a few questions:

  • Who is telling this lie?
  • When did this deception start?
  • Why are they trying to trick you?
  • What do they fear will happen if you discover the truth?

[–]Endorsed ContributorKeffirLime[S] 64 points65 points  (2 children)

Idealism is in our nature, it feels far better than a harsh reality, so we're drawn to it.

Add money/capitalism into the mix and you've got a system that can exploit this idealistic nature.

Santa, blue pill fantasies, they're profitable. Get people trying to achieve the unnatainable, more importantly, keep them spending.

[–]dingleburry_joe 4 points5 points  (1 child)

This is exactly what I was thinking of but couldn't explain it as you did. Idealism, it's what gets us to do shit even though it's not reality. Fantasy > reality

[–]PrideInIndividuality 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is due to this idealism, socialists believe that society can be created based on cooperation rather than selfishness.

[–]Endorsed Contributorsadomasochrist 5 points6 points  (2 children)

Love is a mutually shared illusion we choose to believe, just like money. It's just paper and you are just two people.

Together, culturally, we give these things "value" they don't intrinsically have.

If tomorrow the US government went bankrupt, we'd look at our wallet like a woman who showed you what was really up.

[–]Chaddeus_Rex 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Love is a christian illusion. We have already established every red pill man needs to get rid of the christian ideals to be successful

[–]PrideInIndividuality 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Love is actually a liberal idea. Monogamy is a Christian illusion. Liberals understand the love doesn't last forever.

[–]mountassar97 4 points5 points  (2 children)

No one, it’s you and you self-deceived and if you discover the truth you’re going to be hurt and then start changing yourself.

[–]1empatheticapathetic 1 point2 points  (1 child)

So Ben stiller had no part in my blue pilling?

[–]OfficerWade 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, there’s a time and place for everything. Some people need to eat their cake. While others just observe them, and if you can do it without judgment you’re on the right path.

[–]UseForThrowAwayStuff 0 points1 point  (1 child)

i want to know these lies in other areas of my live besides sex

[–]U-94 0 points1 point  (0 children)

History. Religion. Space. Pick one.

[–]PrideInIndividuality 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I have some interesting theories to answer these questions. But a lot of readers on this forum are not gonna like it. But the truth is bitter anyway, so here it goes.

Who is telling this lie?

When did this deception start?

2000ish years ago, when Christians invented the concept of monogamous marriage.

Why are they trying to trick you?

They're not trying to trick you at all. They genuinely believed monogamy would work. This is no different than socialists believing how everyone would love each other and cooperate for resources. Monogamy after all is a socialist program when it comes to intimacy. Monogamy is the delusional truth to distribute intimacy equally. Have you ever seen other animals practicing monogamy?

What do they fear will happen if you discover the truth?

You'll start putting your self interests above anyone else. This will have social repercussions and not satisfy the needs of the most needy. You'll give up on fairy tale called religion, and will become liberal degenerate. Liberals were highly intellectual philosophers and recognized this human behavior and the oppression conservatives caused by forced monogamy called marriage, where people have to spend their entire lives fulfilling obligation for others even if they had no attraction with them. (Liberal is defined as someone who supports both sexual freedom and free market. Americans don't understand the proper definitions of liberalism and conservatism.) This is why liberals fought so hard for the movement of sexual liberation. After all, having the freedom to break up or not engage in any sexual relation with the other person was the ultimate goal of liberals. This is also why conservatives never allowed the idea of "love" and "divorce". ("Love marriage" is a stupid American amalgamation of liberalism and conservatism and never existed in human history before couple hundred years ago. True conservatives believed in forced arranged marriage without any consent of either party -- Muslims and a lot of Indians)

Ever wondered why in the economic arena, putting your self interests above anyone else is considered a common understanding, but not in the sexual arena? Primarily because the western world, especially the US, was built on the principles of liberalism and free market. But unfortunately, the sexual culture still remained conservative and that's why these myths of soulmate exist.

This will trigger a lot of people here, who feel that they're number one enemy are liberals, but little do they know, that all of their pain and misery is brought by none other than conservatives. Hahaha. Also, you guys should read "Sex at Dawn" -- history book of human sex.

Out of the context of this sub -- but here's another myth. Materialism would never bring you happiness. The true purpose of our economic life is to hoard money, not to spend money. Those who buy fancy BMWs and business class flights are poor people, rich people don't spend money like this.

[–]DeadliftRx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Monogamy keeps men working. They established the idea that if every man was slave to a woman he was to take care of, he would be willing to work. You cannot enslave free men.

[–]Tripletag 80 points81 points  (18 children)

The worst part about TRP is realizing that women love you for what you have to offer, then subsequently realizing that what you have to offer is very little. Even if you're tall, handsome and can make quick gains with lifting which I'm all very blessed with luckily, you can still be a boring turd overall. Realizing you have to be interesting takes a long time, getting to terms with that takes longer, then you actually need to go out and become interesting.

Luckily theres light at the end of that tunnel. It sure beats the hell out of a parasitical and lonely existance of fapping and videogames.

[–]PS2Errol 41 points42 points  (6 children)

Don't assume that everyone gets lonely because you do. Plenty have no conception of the feeling. They are alone, but not lonely.

It's a need you have. Not everyone has it.

[–]Stron2g 17 points18 points  (4 children)

This. I'm perfectly fine being alone and working on self improvement my entire life. Women are mostly a waste of time and energy.

[–]doppleprophet 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Women are mostly a waste of time and energy.

Aside from the magical part about baking up a version of you to send into the future maybe

[–]kril89 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't say that women are a waste of time, some are yes. But some men are also a waste of time/life. A good woman is nice to have around, but always remember AWALT and things really aren't that bad. But yeah I've always loved being alone even before TRP so that doesn't matter to me.

[–]Da_RectumWrecker 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Then why are you on a forum that mainly focuses on sexual strategy?

[–]Stron2g 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The red pill is primarily about opening mens eyes to the truth of gender dynamics in todays society, not simply focusing on sexual strategy for those who choose to participate in the rat race hookup culture society.

"It is better to live in the wilderness than with a quarrelsome and fretful woman." Proverbs 21:19

[–]ozenmacher 13 points14 points  (4 children)

I consider myself very lucky. When I was a blue pill loser, with no life goals, no friends, and a homebody, I learned the hard way to become at peace with being solo. Not lonely, solo. Now in my thirties I am just as content and satisfied with an outgoing and healthy social life as I am on my own. I have my own house. I go on solo vacations and I do things solo, all the time, and I love it. I also love being with my close friends and family, but can do and live life without, too. Interestingly enough this also makes you even more attractive to women...they love the independent man who does whatever the fuck he wants. Be that man.

[–]JellyRev 6 points7 points  (2 children)

I've never thought about a solo vaca. eye opening. thank you.

[–]rma92 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It can be a ton of fun and really eye opening. One of the best nights of my life involved driving to Las Vegas (from Seattle) and spending all night at a nightclub by myself.

[–]bojsihtekat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I went on a solo vacation to Mexico. Was so amazing I went twice. Tinder in Mexico, as an American, is like shooting fish in a barrel. Fish that love sex.

[–]vullnet123 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Really been wanting to go on a solo vacation for a while. I'm 19 so it'd seem like a nice eye opening experience.

[–]hauntology 32 points33 points  (2 children)

“Women like it weird”. I’ve been reading trp on and off for years and I never understood why her standards are a problem. Who gives a shit? Would you date a woman who had nothing to offer? Was a talentless, humorless ugly troll riddled with mental illness and self doubt / hate ? No, you have standards and want a woman with similar life experience and values. Why should she want any different? You get what you earn and what you deserve. Part of that is the crapschute of genetics. Some of us are just better than others some of us are worse off. Deal with it. Joseph Di Mambro was a short ugly man who founded the order of the solar temple, he constructed the reality he wanted, bedded hundreds of women, and commanded their strict loyalty and the respect of his followers. Commanding commitment and loyalty is part of being a well rounded, successful cool dude with I don’t know, passions? Sense of style, confidence? Sense of self and constant goals in life? And like it or not a flare for the odd and dangerous. Women gravitate to men that cultivate mystic creative ceaseless commitment to a better vaster version of themselves and the family / followers they take responsibility for. The men I know that either get a lot of women and or / enchant and keep loyal good ones are cool, pragmatic, conscientious men who only see their goals. Trp is being invaded by incel trash that think they’re just owed 10/10 pussy because they said hello, opened some doors and play a lot of League all day. Being cool is earned, being in shape is earned, The slightly richer , slightly bigger guy who she sees has nothing on you if you earn on your own terms and not give any fucks about it. Manifest your own reality dude. If you keep telling yourself you suck and pedestal the idea of love and reward without effort, then you’ll be a lonely drained man. Look at the natural eccentrics, Dali, Charles Manson, Keith Richards, David Bowie, Henry Miller, Percy Shelley, Lord Byron, Boyd Rice, Benjamin Franklin. Men who not only got women but commanded their loyalty with cult leader like or full blown self assured self reflection. Women are not the goal, self transformation and wisdom is, maybe even a little megalomania. Why should women want to give the time of day to some loser who does nothing to grow?

[–]JellyRev 13 points14 points  (0 children)

The thing is most men and women are nothing. They are not at the apex of their trade/industry/career. I've fucked women who made 500k per year while I make 50k. I don't have a following because I do not want one. I have made them and it made me sick and empty. I became a cold approach legend at uni and it made me so empty.

What I've seen a lot is women going somewhere's usually in medical field straggling a bartender or waiter hoping he will finally go somewhere's. He does not. But they date this guy for years. What mattered was proximity at the time of dating, various exfriends I know who have done nothing with their life that dated wifey level girls. The engineer or tradesmen who makes great money does not have female proximity. Bars are a poor sub and after work boozing has died due to strict dui laws.

I can still insta cold approach to lay but I feel physically sick afterwards thinking this is what society has came to. I'm not special. I'm not chad. I know how how to talk and how to dominate eye contact when I want to. I use statement of intent for most of my lays and unwavering eye contact.

[–]dkirkpatr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is the best damn comment if seen in a long time. As he tips his hat to the author

[–]BewareTheOldMan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Realizing you have to be interesting takes a long time, getting to terms with that takes longer, then you actually need to go out and become interesting."

That's the advantage men have by coming to terms with the reality that men have to do more, develop themselves, and be much more interesting than some basic lump sitting around waiting for women to appreciate and love them based on some fairy tale.

Biological nature actually places women at a disadvantage.

Imagine being a young girl having men fawn all over you, do things for you , and be very nice to you - yet you've done NOTHING to earn such praise and adoration. One day you realize it's because you're a woman and men are nice because they want sex from you. Instead of using this natural advantage to secure the very best mate while at the peak of your very best years, many women use this advantage to extract unearned favors and continued adoration while offering men NOTHING in return.

Adding insult to injury, these women freely offer themselves, their body, energy, and emotions to a string of douchebag losers and basic jerks.

Not fully understanding this unearned praise and adoration will eventually end, many women NEVER improve their inner self as a person nor truly learn to develop a caring, compassionate, and loving personality.

Then one day at the "magical age of 28" - quintessential "Epiphany Phase" the unearned adoration and attention slows to a crawl and a few years later at 32 to zero notice. This gets worse year after year...taking these women into their 40s.

Then comes the realization that as a woman they should have learned to do more, develop themselves, and be much more interesting than some basic lump sitting around waiting for men to admire and adore them based on some fairy tale.

Developing a caring, compassionate, loving, and wonderful personality at age 35 doesn't do women any good if men who had interest years earlier and would have given anything to have this same woman's eternal devotion are basically "over it" and have moved on to better things in life. In some cases for these men, it's a better class of women who understand what they should have been doing to earn men's appreciation from the beginning instead of wasting their natural assets on useless men.

That's the male advantage - even being born with some physical assets that attract women, most men naturally develop themselves early in life whereas many women feel personal development and appreciation for others is simply unnecessary. Everything's all about them...until one day in their mid-30s it's not.

[–]geo_gan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What’s parasitical about fapping and gaming?

[–]Endorsed Contributormonsieurhire2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, mostly what we have to offer, until we acquire experience, money, and status, is just straight up "dick in the box," with an unwanted (by them) pregnancy chaser.

[–]Endorsed ContributorMentORPHEUS 24 points25 points  (1 child)

We are the music makers
And we are the dreamers of dreams

Waaay past the shock, disappointment, and anger of awakening and having illusions shattered, then hard work of self-improvement and education, comes a state of amused mastery. You become the architect of the narratives and illusions built and maintained in those around you.

As expressed in a form of riddle popular in the Victorian era:

First you believe,
Then you don't believe,
Then you become...
Santa Claus!

[–]UnanimousInMyOpinion 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Fucking brilliant.

Jedi level insight this is

[–]Endorsed Contributorredpillcad 14 points15 points  (4 children)

When kids find out Santa isn't real then the magic of Xmas is gone. Doesn't have to mean Xmas sucks. Thinking Xmas isn t magic doesnt make you a Xmasogynist.

Women aren't wonderful either. So if you do the math, we don't hate women here and we enjoy them for exactly what they are.

I'd argue we love women more than the average lovesick, loser bloopy bc he doesn't love women at all. He is worshipping a fantasy that exists in his mind.

No wonder weak men make women sick

[–]RandomlyChosenTitle 6 points7 points  (2 children)

Agreed. I know at my core that I do not need women. I know the absolute worst aspects of female psychology. I know that m-f relationships will always be imbalanced and that I will always carry the heavier burden. Yet I still choose to keep women in my life. That's love, not some hapless BP pussy that clings to the object of his oneitis like his life depends on it.

[–]Endorsed Contributorredpillcad 8 points9 points  (1 child)

Personally, I need sex. I enjoy feminine energy in my life.

There isn't any shortage of women who can provide this to me. In fact, it's a privilege to have the opportunity to do this. It has to be earned. Every. Day.

Or ....Next.

This is TRP. This is why we are quarantined. Not for hating women. But for loving ourselves

[–]BewareTheOldMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's funny - I say this as well...at least to women who listen to experienced men about how to get and keep and Good Man in their life.

Whatever you did in order to generate a man's initial interest and hold his interest long enough to get to commitment and marriage, it's ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to keep doing those things. Not only that - men expect women to get better over time - not necessarily physically, but loving men in the way they expect by virtue of his continued demonstration and commitment. In short - EARN your position in the relationship and marriage EVERY. DAMN. DAY.

This is what's expected and demanded from men - there's no reason men shouldn’t have those same demands as well.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Exactly. A red pulled man who still engages in ‘the game’ truly loves women and what they offer. Your average lovesick white knight only loves his idea of a woman.

[–]Lib3rtarianSocialist 27 points28 points  (6 children)

There is no Red Nosed flying reindeer, there isn't even any elves. Just some 12 year old in Pakistan working 16 hours a day so you could tear open presents.

I haven't finished reading this submission. As a Pakistani, reading this bit felt strange. Child labour exists, yes.

[–]Endorsed ContributorKeffirLime[S] 7 points8 points  (5 children)

Child labour exists, yes.

As a socialist I imagine you blame Capitalism?

[–]Lib3rtarianSocialist 23 points24 points  (4 children)

No, mate. I used to be socialist. Now, I can call myself a capitalist. I do not blame a specific boogey-man for it.

Here in Pakistan, I would guess a few million children labour in order to survive. Capitalism is not to blame. In fact, capitalism is what will take them out of poverty.

[–]Endorsed ContributorKeffirLime[S] 7 points8 points  (3 children)

Yeah, it's historical to some degree. Capitalism certainly enables it.

Some countries were able to develop more than others.

Trade required developed countries that want goods produced at the lowest possible price.

There's not enough poverty in the first world, leading to higher demand in wages, so they outsource it to countries with widespread poverty, where the entire family needs to work for far less, children included.

This will continue until either Pakistan solves it's poverty problem, or people stop buying, which would more than likely plunge them further into poverty.

The first world has a vested interest in keeping Pakistan Impoverished.

[–]Lib3rtarianSocialist 4 points5 points  (2 children)

I agree with what you have laid out. I had, however, not considered your final point before. This:

The first world has a vested interest in keeping Pakistan Impoverished.

Responding to the following:

There's not enough poverty in the first world, leading to higher demand in wages, so they outsource it to countries with widespread poverty, where the entire family needs to work for far less, children included.

This isn't negative as some may see it. Those people would be poorer if not for that low-wage employment.

Much of Pakistan remains poor due to our feudal past, which still continues today and is significant in the countryside.

The government intervenes extensively in the economy. There is a large public sector. Lots of state institutions, usually with no private alternative. As one might expect, the bureaucracy is less efficient, but more importantly, corrupt.

It is estimated that less than 1% of Pakistanis pay any income tax.

Do you have specific political leanings?

[–]BewareTheOldMan 1 point2 points  (1 child)

"...government intervenes extensively in the economy...Lots of state institutions, usually with no private alternative...bureaucracy is less efficient, but more importantly, corrupt."

In my career I've traveled to almost 30 different counties, sometimes just passing through, but most times for extended work. One of the basic observations I've noticed in all these travels is that wherever people/the general population is suffering in some way or just bad off in general - there’s corruption and it STARTS at the top of the leadership chain and mostly permeates in government and bureaucratic chambers.

[–]Lib3rtarianSocialist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your observation is mostly correct. I agree. I do think that the government's existence is a necessity before the countries can become more capitalistic and have a freer market.

[–]AlexGM77 24 points25 points  (1 child)

Very well written post. That’s actually the exact analogy I use to explain my relationship with women, although maybe in a gentler way. Women have lost their magic to me after my divorce and reading TRP, and I got angry for a while, just like I did for Christmas after I learned that Santa Claus did not exist. But even if I lost my illusions, I still very much like Christmas. Yes, families may fight when you put everybody together and the superficiality can be annoying. But it is also a special time for friends and families, and an opportunity to put resentment aside and reconnect with old friends. Christmas is certainly not magic to me anymore, but I still like Christmas. Learning the truth and realizing that I had been manipulated made me angry. But I grew up out of it. Just like I still like women even so I have been redpilled and they lost their magic to me.

[–]BewareTheOldMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"I still like women even so I have been redpilled and they lost their magic to me."

After learning the unfortunate truth of the Red Pill and discovering the truth about women in general - lots of guys become that way.

I've actually been accused of hating women. I'm like - "nah - I don't hate women, I just see women as they are and accept reality."

You're right though - once the blinders come off, the "magic" of a woman's presence is much less and, in many cases, simply lost.

[–]OldPeopleLeather 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Reality can never compete with fantasy.

I think of it like this. There is no true reality, only human experience and interpretation. Santa is just as real as the keyboard I'm typing on, because there is no Santa nor is there a keyboard. This isn't saying that there could be one, but there isn't. This is saying the idea doesn't even exist. The emotions you felt for fantasy, then, are not attached to that fantasy. If you felt them while believing Santa exists, you can feel them believing Santa doesn't exist, or believing in nothing at all. What we should believe in is conditional truth. The keyboard exists, but only based on conditions (we agree that a perception and experience of x, y, z constitutes the designation of a keyboard, etc.)

[–]Endorsed ContributorKeffirLime[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

There is interpretation, however, there are interpretations that will make you feel good often and there are interpretations that will make you feel miserable often.

We should strive for the interpretation that gives us the most control over these emotions.

Believing in Santa for instance, and waiting for him to come down the chimney will leave me disappointed year in year out. I'm better off acknowledging he isn't coming.

If you felt them while believing Santa exists, you can feel them believing Santa doesn't exist

It's an interesting point, I'm not so sure. Harsh truths and comforting lies.

They make us feel good for the sole reason that they're idealistic. Remove the idealism and by virtue you remove the good feeling.

An acceptance of "conditional truths" will bring content more than anything.

[–]GoRedBad 5 points6 points  (1 child)

I used to be very blue pill, but I never had an anger phase. Way back in 2004 I discovered fastseduction.com, David D'Angelo, Tyler Durden and Mystery. I was excited, amazed, fascinated and hopeful all at once. By the time I got into the harder stuff from Rooshv and roissy four years later, I was already well familiar with concepts like awalt.

My entry to the community was more like finding out there really is a Santa.

[–]Kurush559 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Gym is Santa's workshop

[–]MisunderstoodAsian 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Treat reality as it is, not as you'd like it to be.

[–]dcmcmd 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Absolutely fucking nailed it. Bravo and merry Christmas.

[–]Patrick_C1 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Excellent post.

[–]DoctorAWALT 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's crazy how congruent this is.

[–]archaeopter 3 points4 points  (7 children)

Swallowing the red pill is difficult, but it comes with the perk of seeing women as the lesser people that they are and also seeing blue pillers as the intellectually deficient lesser people that they are.

[–]Nezith 4 points5 points  (6 children)

I think it's more like seeing things as they are than making more categories. There is no perk, there is only truth. Women and current BPs are just human with whatever nature equipped them with after birth. RP is known if you find it, otherwise it's hidden to a lot of people who don't. To keep it short, pitying the people who don't know and continue to make little improvement in their lives because of their BP conditioning is the outcome of learning RP yourself. If that makes any sense.

[–]archaeopter 0 points1 point  (5 children)

I don't pity them. I am disgusted by them. They are barely human and are only there for exploitation.

[–]Nezith 2 points3 points  (4 children)

Well, you do you man. Just coming from an objective viewpoint.

[–]archaeopter -2 points-1 points  (3 children)

Your viewpoint is not an "objective viewpoint." Rather it is a demonstration of your retention of your blue pill programming.

[–]Nezith 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Hmm, well I could have sworn that male and female physiology were different in terms of how hormones affect our bodies by how we think and the actions we will predictably take with them. And I'm pretty sure feeling sorry for people who aren't aware of BP lies isn't uncommon when swallowing the RP yourself. Sure, I am still swallowing the pill but I didn't comment about your development, I merely stated an opinion about the topic above. So, how is this about me now? Lol.

[–]BewareTheOldMan -1 points0 points  (1 child)

Anger phase Bro...some dudes are still there. He'll be OK though - assuming he comes out clean on the other side.

I see your point. Red Pill is not something that happens as a part of natural development. RP comes about due to disillusionment with Blue Pill/Societal and Social Conditioning, being hit with reality, and gross contradiction of female behavior. Most men have no idea the cute little girl next door will grow into a young Chad Chaser, degenerate Party-Girl, and basic Pass-Around Chick...and THEN go searching for their Beta-Provider Savior in her post-prime years.

Men...no boys really have been told ALL their life to "be kind, love, and respect others - and to especially behave this way toward women." This carries into a young man's teenage years and into early adulthood.

The "awakening" occurs when one day in his early to mid-20s, a man realizes this mindset is only good for a select few women, but NOT the majority female population. The problem, however, is finding those select few women in a sea of reprobates.

That said - I'd be aggravated with men who DESPITE KNOWING and having this REALITY regularly presented to them STILL CLING to deep BP Conditioning. You expect most men to come out of their societal brainwashing once exposed to the truth. For a few men, however, the "conditioning" runs deep into their psyche and they take much longer to accept the Red Pill along with a few who never escape the "the matrix" at all.

[–]Nezith 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To be frank, I don't care what stage he's at and shouldn't worry about his progress as much as I should about my own. I tried to stick to the topic, and explain how my reply was not meant to be taken as an offense but rather another perspective. But for whatever reason he went off topic and suddenly became an RP expert telling me some other bullshit about my progress. Depending on my mood, I can write something or nothing, but it just so happened that I felt like calling out on his own bullshit.

[–]mette13 3 points4 points  (1 child)

After my first anger phase, a sort of calamity rushed over me. I felt at peace and in harmony with the world. Sometimes I get angry, but nothing really suprises me anymore. I feel in control of myself in a way and I can see right through the blue-pill fantasies now. I've replaced the rush of oneitis with the satisfaction of my own hobbies. Life is truly blissful now.

[–]Nezith 3 points4 points  (0 children)

That sounds nice. I hope to reach that phase myself someday. Currently experiencing my own first true anger phase and it couldn't come at a better time than around Christmas lol. But I suppose it's all a part of the journey, and part of the learning to become a better version of myself.

[–]rawtalk 4 points5 points  (0 children)

“Shattering the grand illusion”

[–]ChadowyFigure 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It is interesting to me that you made this analogy, as disillusionment over Santa Claus is a part of what led me to become semi-RPed when I was a child.

In the part of my first post that explains my background I say:

I thought a long time that night but did not remember my train of thought, or even really anything after I left the stairs, until TRP.

The train of thought I referred to here prominently included Santa. A short time before the events described, I had learned from my cousins that Santa was made up. So my parents had been lying to me for years while preaching honesty and whooping my ass if I lied. Then I saw my mother who loved me and who I thought was a good person become disgusted at a genuine expression of passion from my father. Despite the triteness, thinking about these events that night forged my truth-seeking smart ass personality.

So this is a great analogy, in my opinion - discovering these truths provided me with two slaps across the face that were so similar that I have actually conflated them in my mind since I was kid.

[–]ColonelAUG 3 points4 points  (0 children)

"A little more skeptical. You realize you don't even have a fuckin chimney."

I fell off the chair laughing at this.

[–]RPSilverfox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Our world is full of Red Pills and Santa is the first one most of us experience and should be a life lesson not to believe everything we are told. The reason Chad figures women out by junior high school is because as a top 10 percent guy he sees what girls are really like when they come over every day after school under the premise of “studying” but end up sucking him off at the family dining room table. Once he learns the the truth he will use it to his advantage the rest of his life and laugh at all the Billys who try too hard and are taught to be nice and do things like carry her books. And some guys will never figure this out, but as a believer in “never talk about fight club” I keep what I know to myself and let those who still believe in Santa or the unicorn fantasy believe.

[–]BurnoutRS 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I fucking love Christmas. It gets better and better every year because every year I see it more and more for what it really is, and It makes me laugh.

The family Christmas party is always wonderful. "I always put on so much weight around the holidays" the fat cousins say, almost bewildered that the buffet tables offerings, consumed in such excess, would make them fatter. You get to see which of the married cousins are still entrenched in their denial about their "happy life" and which ones are beginning to allow their conscious mind to fall into congruence with their subconscious mind. They occassionally let it slip, almost unbeknownst to themselves, that theyre drowning.

If you know what to look for and youre in the right mindset, that shit is infinitely better than tv

[–]Endorsed Contributorex_addict_bro 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Once the Red anal suppository takes hold you'll never experience the highs like they were, you'll experience reality. You'll experience content and comfort, you'll make peace with the world as it is. Most importantly you'll experience power.

Every single... hard moment, hard especially for person like me, with my history, I think exactly something like that. That it hurts now, but I am seeing the world through a sober eye. I'm seeing things like they really are... so in the end, even if truth hurts and is hard to digest, in the end I'll be better.

In the land of the blind, a one-eyed man is the king.

[–]RepostGhostCst2Cst 2 points3 points  (0 children)

For me now, the high is in the chase. Once they give up the pussy my interest in them dwindles

[–]TheTrenTrannyTrain 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welcome to the sadness phase.

[–]Thisismybot8 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"When your expectations are congruent with reality, you are able to shape reality."

What are you trying to tell me? That I can organize threesomes?

"No, thisismybot8. I'm trying to tell you that when you're ready, you won't have to."

[–]TrueShadow97 1 point2 points  (1 child)

If I had the choice to unswallow the Red Pill, I would never agree from the point in time I swallowed it.

I did feel some kind of social nihilism for like a month. I couldn't see a point in being part of a society as it turned out to be. However, this low of unplugging passed and now I adapt, learn and improve every day so I could play to my strengths to the best of my ability and use the system I'm a part of to my benefit.

I recently met a girl who, suffice it to say, I could not bed (I was drafted for military service, guess I'm still not good enough to overcome such circumstances), but she is young and attractive and as I got closer to her, I literally felt all the chemistry urging me to do stupid shit I was conditioned to do to attract her. Was this the old BP me, I'd think something along the lines of "she's the one, omg". The current part-RP me recognizes shit for what it is, thus I'm in much more of control of what I feel and do than ever before. These are the benefits of realism.

So I'd never take the highs of those love fantasies again because they come with lows so depressing I literally found this subreddit by googling "how do I attract women". No kidding.

And of course, if I'll ever have children, no way in hell am I going to feed them those sweet Santa lies. You'll never have to suffer from shattered illusions if there were no illusions to shatter to begin with.

[–]Truedemocracy4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been hear for years and even now still get "oneitis". Make no mistake it doesn't happen often at all, and when it does I'm still talking to other women and stay guarded, but there will be women I really click with or meet in some weird way that screams 'destiny!'

Then RP truths are eventually confirmed in some capacity and it doesn't turn out well

[–]St3am0urH4mmer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

[–]Wolveryn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I will say the highs of TRP knowledge far outweighed the highs from oneitus...

What a rush to have that kind of power suddenly available... to live and breath in a world where you just ‘get it’

[–]five-acorn 3 points4 points  (8 children)

If you don't realize that Santa McFatFuck is exactly no different than God Almighty, then you're in for another rude awakening. Or not, you'll die and presumably rot in the ground, but yeah.

God was made up to make everyone feel better. Like Santy Clause. You were told both exist as a kid, and there you go.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (7 children)

No need to shit on religion. That’s a bit different than Santa or oneitis.

[–]five-acorn 2 points3 points  (5 children)

God and Santa are very alike. Made up personas used as opiates (feel better) and to sell shit. Like, you fear rotting in the ground right? Losing loved ones? The meaningless nihilism of the universe? Injustice? Don't worry little Timmy, God's here!

Only difference is that "everybody knows" Santa is made up bullshit, whereas God? Seems like that idea has only caught on in Asia and Europe, in America most aren't "in on" that joke. Your parents don't tell you they made up God because their parents never told them that. But God is about as real as that fucking Santa Claus I'm afraid. Your prayers to God are as useful as your letters to Santy Claus LOL.

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (4 children)

The point of God isn’t to coddle you during your “tough times”, it’s to trust in him. God never guarantees anything the only thing he guarantees is life after death.

However I understand your need to be self reliant and tough.

[–]five-acorn 4 points5 points  (3 children)

Yeah I'm just riffing. Nah I did the whole Catholic school thing - I haven't experienced a terrible tragedy or anything, I think it's just slowly dawned on me over time, that -- I do not believe God exists. I think it would be wonderful if he did (if he was really just and all knowing and all that shit). I just can't live a life of quiet Delusion. That's not me.

Like, rationally --- there is absolutely zero evidence that God exists, or that religion is anything other than a Bronze Age delusion that's been passed on over the years, because ... well obviously, what is all this pain and hardship and "life" for otherwise? It's scary to sort of realize that it's pointless happenstance and toil, but that's the reality.

And then you start thinking about the afterlife --- in reality, living for 100,000 million billion trillion years would be hell, if you think about it. Yeah God is a fairy tale to help us sleep at night. You talk to God, I talked to Santa Claus as a child. The mind is a powerful thing, it creates all sorts of bullshit.

[–]MilkMoney111 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I remember having this thought as a kid after seeing a cartoon. In the cartoon there is a guy and he's in heaven. He's looking around for something to do and asks God if there's a billiards table in heaven. God looks at him and says: "Do you really need a billiards table in heaven?" The guy says guess not then sits there and says ... this sucks.

The whole point of joy in life is working towards things, it's accomplishing goals, it's building, it's the journey. In heaven, everything is perfect. So then what? What the fuck do you have left to do or work on? What the fuck are you supposed to do for all eternity now? Eternity sounds like Hell more than a permanent rest where you cease to exist... or at least your energy is dissipated elsewhere in the universe.

[–]five-acorn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Even if heaven were exactly like Earth or had a billiard table --- we're not talking a 100 years. Or 1000. Or 10,000 years (imagine living on Earth since the days of Ancient Rome). You'd be bored to tears of the same old bullshit in probably 500 years, let alone 10,000. Politics, power, people trying to get money and ass and fame. Toil. War. Eating. More toil. More war. Sigh. Boooring.

Okay it's been 10,000 years. We're all one big happy family. Now the next 10,000. Okay how about a million years. A million years being alive, holy shit. What's the point of sitting around heaven here? Yay God, I guess. Is this all there is? Here's to the next million, I guess.

A billion years pass. A billion more. Well, this is just a spec of sand compared to eternity. What now? Memory wiping products? Well, what for? Hedonism? Reincarnation maybe? After a billion years of existence? I think you've seen and done what there is to see and do.

But yes eternity would be hell. It's heavy to stare into the nihilistic void, but -- well it is what it is.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d have to say that your argument is very convincing. As everyone else does on here I am big on self reliance and putting yourself first. I assume that since you are on this site you are in a good place in your life, as this site made me a better man as well.

However, before myself, I put God. I know you probably won’t but if you except Jesus Christ in your heart and mean it . I fully promise you you will feel the presence of God, as have I and many of other people I know.

I apologize for being evangelical on this site.

[–]SKRedPill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's ok if Santa ain't real. He's an idea and we can still celebrate him for the fun of it. He isn't dangerous.

But BP beliefs can really screw up your life.

[–]BuzzNAcid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"there isnt even doves"

Keep your expectations of women low, thru the floor low, and you'll be quite alright in life.

[–]Andgelyo 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Experienced oneitis for a brief time due to going out an actual date with a woman who (for once) met my looks standard and wasn't a total landwhale like 75% of women today. Flaked on, by the second date because i was too needy and kept texting her ass. Thanks OP, i'm back to reality and needed this. The holidays can get pretty fucking lonely though if you don't have a SO during this time. How do my fellow red pilled men cope with this? I"ve fucked plenty of women, but now for some reason crave a relationship.

[–]BewareTheOldMan -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"How do my fellow red pilled men cope with this? I've fucked plenty of women, but now for some reason crave a relationship."

I'll tell you how - USE the information you learn/learned at TRP and similar forums to AVOID getting burned or used as just another BP tool or Beta-Orbiter. Women love to use the "but I'm not like that anymore" after being Chad's readily available slut for years. Avoid these types and their poisonous sisters in crime. Vet a woman thoroughly and make her PROVE and DEMONSTRATE worthiness EVERY. DAMN. DAY.

Do NOT tolerate disrespect, disloyalty, or disruption to your life...something I call the Three Ds. Be ready to walk away from a relationship...and yes - even marriage.

Put yourself first while being respectful of women, children, the elderly, and other men of course, but TAKE NO SHIT - especially from women.

There's your start point. I suspect you can handle the rest from there...

[–]dingleburry_joe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Santa, soul-mate myth, oneitis, disney fairytale mentalities are exactly what they are. Narratives told to us to promise or offer us something that we fall for. We behave around christmas time or else we get coal, we slave away and wait and do nothing till that special someone comes. The red pill is a rejection of all narratives so that we may claim our own and be free.

[–]Battagliare 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Our Country has not been given to our ancestors from heaven, but they had to build it from scraps, the ground." Reminds me this.

Merry Christmas KeffirLime. This was an excellent present and I needed to read it.

I smelled a rat on the Santa story at age 4, and attempted to conduct several independent investigations which were thwarted by my parents, thus bolstering my suspicions. At age 6, it was common knowledge amongst my peers that Santa was probably bullshit, because the older kids would laugh about it and tell us he wasn't real, which many of us already suspected. At age 8, I did a "black op" where I opened my gifts head of time, played with them on the sly, then put them back as if they had never been disturbed, then pretended to be surprised when I got them on the actual day.

[–]BewareTheOldMan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At age 8 - Special Operator in the making...

[–]SafeAffect 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Reminds me of when I found out god and heaven aren't real, I'm still recovering from that 6 years later

[–]chrischrisv6 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Can I ask how you randomly just happened to "figure that out"? I believe I was a child when I figured that one out.

[–]SafeAffect 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I got in a debate with atheists in youtube comment sections and tried to find evidence to prove them wrong that I assumed was common knowledge my whole life...couldn't do it

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Imagine how annoying life would be if 50-60 percent of adults still believed in Santa, and got mad and angry any time he didn’t deliver on his promises. And nobody would admit to you that Santa was a sham except a few buddies and one internet group.

[–]5ubstanc3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You realize you don’t even have a fucking chimney

All these years...

[–]thekiddd23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well written sir. This is basically the philosophy with which I tackle life. haha sometimes you do wish that never opened the box and just stayed ignorant. Cuz once you take the pill, you can never go back. But oh well. It is what it is. Just have to enjoy this beautiful absurd world in which we live.

[–]patrixxxx -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Indeed. Great writeup. And some of us are ready for another RedPill - That society of today isn't quite what it portrays itself to be. That for example NASA actually is Santa for grownups...
