Hi everybody, it's RPS with some updates.

Since we've grown from 0 to 12,600 in about half a year, I think it's time we do a little organization.

A new trend I'm seeing is a lot of newbies here are wondering if they're applying the red pill properly in their lives.

Now, this is a good question.. but with such an influx of new subscribers, it tends to drown out other red pill discussion.

Introducing /r/askTRP

We are leaving the ask trp flair here because there will still be relevant questions to ask our main sub, such as:

  • What do you think of this theory?
  • Has anybody else noticed this trend?
  • What's TRP's position on this or that?

However personalized questions will now be directed towards /r/askTRP such as:

  • I had an argument last night with GF, did I handle this well?
  • My GF is giving me trouble, don't know what to do..?
  • I ran into a weird shit test, what's your opinion?

As always, my main direction in moderating and directing this subreddit and it's network has been ensuring that all members have the ability to express themselves, their anger, frustration, and other emotions. While most places try to temper the message by ensuring it's politically correct, we have no such compulsion.

So instead of removing personal questions, we're just moving them over.

Older Members, I invite you to pop over to /r/asktrp every so often, try to lend a hand where you can.

And as always, read the sidebar!

Thanks!

are female perspectives welcome there, and can we post questions about our relationships with men as well?

[–]MSoftHarem29 points30 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Of course. We still use the "ask the fisherman, not the fish" mindset because women historically give terrible advice to men when it comes to dating, but every RP man and woman is welcome to contribute.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 8 points9 points  (13 children) | Copy Link

Female perspectives are typically rather solipsistic and anti-red pill. You're welcome to contribute, but we will scrutinize all advice.

[–]iKill_eu9 points10 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Then what is the purpose of /r/RPW?

I think what she's asking is whether /r/asktrp is for /r/TRP members only, or /r/RPW members as well.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

RPW is still very small, most advice can be gotten on their main sub.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (10 children) | Copy Link

Statements which can be confused for opinion deserve citation good sir. Though I can speak for experience about the "solipsistic" nature of many people.

[–][deleted] 8 points9 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

This is one of the few places where non-pc opinions can be stated. That isn't going to change, and it shouldn't.

Most people here who have had experience with women notice this type of attitude. That is enough for this subreddit.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Fair enough

[–]enticingasthatmaybe1 point2 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

The point of this whole shebang (hehehe) is that we don't have to continuously point out and qualify what everyone should know already. The opinion you speak of is laid out for you in black and white facts on the side bar of /r/TheRedPill.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

In my opinion almost everybody is a solipsist. Perhaps some more clarification is due. My concern is, since I am very much into this subreddit these days as my primary (read only) stop on Reddit, it's important I am incorporating data which is scientifically accurate and thus 100% conducive to an objective and rational worldview. When it comes to the information I'm very much a "buyer beware" type, but also open enough to listen.

[–]FountainsOfFluids4 points5 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

I am of the opinion that most of the opinions held against women on this sub are equally valid against men. But the design of this sub is as much for venting as it is for learning, so there's not much use in being equitable around here. It can be quite frustrating sifting through the negativity to find the gems of wisdom. But for the moment, it's all we've got. If I had more experience and knowledge in the subject, I'd probably start my own blog and sub, but that probably won't be a reasonable project for several years.

[–]iKill_eu1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Sadly alot of /r/TRP is of the opinion that you're a bluepill beta if you don't hate all women and expect them to use you. Having an utilitarian mindset and noting gender differences isn't enough any more, you MUST be negatively inclined to be a true alpha redpiller. /s

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 4 points5 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

What?

[–][deleted] -1 points0 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Female perspectives are typically rather solipsistic

My concern about our subreddit is that we confuse many people with facts, opinions and a blurred distinction between the two due to the anecdotal nature of human relationships.

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Lurk longer, and you'll understand.

[–]soapjackal0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

TRP has stopped caring about quote mining since they tightened down sub relation policy. You could spend 5 minutes cherry picking and have a SRS circle jerk with 2000+ comments within the hour if you desired. TRP doesn't give a fuck that you can anymore.

[–]paulnomad-1 points0 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

IME as soon as a woman appears, many guys, most of whom have not fully taken the redpill, end up tripping over each other in their desperate dash to white-knight.

Given the whole of the world is matriarchal and the discrimination against red pill men is endemic, I think it is only fair that red pill men have a space of their own, where they are not threatened or intimidated by privileged women and manginas, and where they are free to express themselves without threats or physical or emotional violence. What I'm talking about is the basic human right to be who you truly are. I mean, aren't we born this way?

I mean wow, just wow!

Even by turning up here you are making me feel oppressed.

Female perspectives are just a source of structural oppression and should be banned.

I think this is a great decision. Although I actually enjoy writing walls of text when I reply to "advice" posts, I have found that there has been a huge increase in their number even within the past 2 weeks, and it has cluttered things up a bit.

Also, I'm digging the new banner color and more minimalist type~

[–]fuk_offe5 points6 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I, for one, welcome our minimalist TRP overlords.

[–]The-Self-Post-Guy3 points4 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Thank you! I know I've been guilty of asking a lot of questions here, its nice to have a place to direct them.

[–]the_letter_P6 points7 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

This is good to see, as the current subreddit is a bit of a mish mash of everything, so its a great way to structure it further. Especially in light with the current influx of popularity we are getting (usually from haters bad mouthing us ironically enough)

I always thought it would be good to have a 'TRP-Lifestyle' type subreddit to post thing related to managing relationships, fitness, becoming a man, finance, social skills, etc. That way it would separate it from the 'theory & example' type posts. Alternatively have a 'TRP-Theory' subreddit. However that's probably something a long way away. Don't want to spread the content too thinly unless we have the numbers to sustain it, so the creation of the /r/asktrp is definitely a good first step. I'll add it to my favourites.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

there is already "/r/becomeaman"

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

On finance, read your way through mrmoneymustache.com. The advice is pill-independently solid.

[–]TRP VanguardHumanSockPuppet2 points3 points  (3 children) | Copy Link

Shall we "report" questions submitted to TRP so that they are easier to move? Or will that gum-up the works?

[–]Modredpillschool[S] 1 point2 points  (2 children) | Copy Link

That sounds good, yes, thanks.

[–]TRP VanguardHumanSockPuppet3 points4 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Cool.

It might be a good idea to replace the "Ask RP" flair with something akin to "RP Discussion" so that people know it's a tag for general questions about red pill principles, rather than a personal request for advice on a specific situation.

[–]TRP VanguardVZPurp1 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

Good call. RP Discussion sounds like better flair now that /r/askTRP has been made.

[–]Hokuten851 point2 points  (0 children) | Copy Link

I'm not sure what control you have over functionality, but perhaps some kind of filter might work best. Let people filter it out if they do not want to see it.

I can see scenarios where /r/askTRP isn't going to get the same quality of responses as they would get here simply because your more experienced resources will not frequent /r/askTRP. I can't imagine asking people to hop over there is actually going to happen with the frequency necessary for proper education.

[–]PaterOmnipotens1 point2 points  (1 child) | Copy Link

Great move. The newb threads are annoying, and theyre more about attention whoring than they are about sharing knowledge.

The next move I'd recommend is not discussing other Reddit threads with some story demonstrating 'red pill' principles. If you're secure in your understanding and belief in Newtonian physics, you don't get excited when someone tells you an apple fell to the floor. The newb threads and the 'omg some girl cheated' threads keep me from viewing this site with much regularity.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Ya, I pass over the majority of those myself.

[–]Knight_of_autumn0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Hah, I've been wondering why there was not an askTRP like an askSeddit here since I joined. Awesome news.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Duly subscribed!

[–]DirtyD270 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Perfect timing, I was just about to post a question that probably didn't deserve it's own thread.

[–]fuk_offe0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Looks good, cheers :)

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

My question doesn't show up in the subreddit...

[–]Amuro_Rey0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

Thanks for this, I find the "ask" subreddits are condusive to learning because you get to apply knowledge to actual situations.

[–]W-Z-R0 points1 point  (0 children) | Copy Link

This is a great move, was worried this subreddit could slide, but also had specific questions I wanted to ask the community.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
