Red Pill ExampleWhat 12 Months of TRP Can Do (self.TheRedPill)

submitted by [deleted]

Was at a bar Friday night with one of my closest friends. He is currently in a relationship, and living with his girlfriend.

I'm single. By design. Thank you TRP.

We sat there, chatting about life and such. I'm moving to Australia in 2 weeks, so this will be one of the last times I see him for a while.

He makes a comment about how wide my shoulders have gotten over the past little while.

I've been lifting for about a year now. You can see pictures of me in this article, which was at about 6 months of lifting:

I've put on a lot more muscle now, and a bit of fat. I'm currently on a cut, but I'm 6'2, 220. Need to lose about 10 pounds.

I'll put up more current pictures when I arrive in Australia.

Lifting. Thank you TRP.

The waiter walked over to us. He mentioned that a lady wanted to buy me a drink, anything of my choice. He pointed her out, a few tables away.

She was an attractive early 30's blonde woman. She looked over and waved, with a nice smile.

I went over after a bit. We talked. She told me she was recently divorced. She told me sex becomes boring after a while in a marriage. She told me getting married before 30 was "A stupid idea for men, because they change so much in their twenties".

The Marriage Trap. Thank you, TRP.

She asked what I did. I told her I was an entrepreneur. She asked doing what? I told her I sold pencil crayons under a bridge out the back of my truck. She laughed.

Frame. Thank you TRP.

I left after a while to get back to my friend, but not before giving her my number, which she demanded.

I told her I was leaving to Australia in two weeks. She said "Two weeks is more than enough time."

High SMV=Effortless sex. Thank you TRP.

This kind of thing happens all the time now. My mindset, body and finances are in a completely different place.

All thanks to following the guidelines on TRP.

Guys, If you work the system, and trust the process, you can be in a completely different place 12 months from now.

Also, for the people who didn't click on the link for the pictures, I'm a mid twenties black guy. No excuses for race. If I can do it, you can too.

[–]TNNRR 86 points87 points  (5 children)

Clicked the link and saw your before and afters. Good for you, man. Huge difference in just 6 months.

For me, TRP is all about self-improvement and confidence. I think you're doing great. I just got back into lifting and can't wait to hit the gym again.

[–][deleted] 18 points19 points  (4 children)

Thanks man!

See you in the gym tomorrow morning bright and early.

[–]NWGDox 13 points14 points  (2 children)

No dude, thank YOU. A month in and just my minor lifting has taken nearly all my anxiety out of my life. Plenty of dudes telling you what to do but not how to get started. The top post on your blog alone is a goldmine and I wouldn't have suffered so much earlier had I seen it.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Greatly appreciated bro.

When you're 6 months in put up a picture here to help all the new guys that have just arrived. Share your experiences so far at that point. This is how we keep TRP's lifeblood flowing.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looking good dude. I have also found that progress pics help to keep yourself motivated

[–]newkidonleblock 97 points98 points  (1 child)

Nice transformation. Always good to see a Brother succeed :)

[–]GOATmar 18 points19 points  (38 children)

Gotta put people on the Anabolic diet + Stronglifts 5x5.

You WILL gain insane muscle, especially once you start benching 2 plates, squatting 3 plates, and deadlifting 4 (perfect form). Once you stick to it and build consistency and give it your all each rep, you'll see noticeable gains in 2 to 3 months.

[–]bartallen4790 5 points6 points  (36 children)

Anabolic diet

Mind touching up on this a little bit, or providing a good link to learn more?

[–]GOATmar 6 points7 points  (4 children)

THIS shit right here is a PED. Like steroids.

I've done 5x5 for about 5 years now - on and off, no serious consistency. The most consistent I've ever been in the past is 2 months and then something makes me take a break.

I'll say that for a long time I got a bit stuck on Bench 5x5 @ 210lbs (I weigh around 175lbs to 180lbs, 6'2" with insanely lanky arms). I don't know if it were my form, or diet, or a combination of both, but I'd couldn't get past 210lbs for a minute.

But since starting this diet 1.5 months ago my lifts are now EASY.

So easy, that I broke my Bench 5x5 PR last night while I had a fever and a sore throat - AFTER a looooong ass day of standing up all day from 10AM to 7PM. Exhausted and sick.

For the first time, despite these conditions, I was looking forward to smashing my Bench all day yesterday. Unheard of. Usually I start getting butterflies for heavy lifting, even when healthy. If I felt sick before, I would either go super light, or straight up cancel my workout.

I said fuck that shit, this is something you have to do despite how you feel. Don't think, just do. Like a machine.

Lo and behold, I move on to 215lbs with ease. Within 10lbs of my 2016 goal of 225lbs Bench. And even with my lanky arms and poor conditions - it wasn't a struggle.

How the fuck?

Anabolic diet.

Red animal meat & veggies and good fats are a miracle drug.

[–]fidelity_ 2 points2 points [recovered]

This reminds me of Lyle McDonald's UD 2.O

Also - nothing replaces steroids. Tren is magic yo.

[–]GOATmar -1 points0 points  (1 child)

HGH is GOAT. Steroids just helps recovery but HGH increases height AND muscle in such short amount of time. Add supreme drive and some talent and you're lookin at elite level fitness (aka 99.9999999% of all athletes alive today)

But fuck that shit. I take pride in smashing numbers all natty no help. I don't even use a single supplement.

[–]bartallen4790 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks man, I'll give it a go!

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Anabolism is the synthesis of muscle. An anabolic diet is one in surplus of your TDEE

[–]Schrodingersdawg 2 points3 points  (28 children)

My bodybuilder friend puts it as 1.1x your ideal weight in grams of protein, 1.5 in carbs, and .333 times in fat. So if you're aiming for 200 lbs, 220protein 300 carbs 70ish fat.

Good luck

edit: this is for gaining muscle

[–]RaptorFalcon 6 points7 points  (24 children)

Do not do this. The breakdown you provide has 11% of total intake being fats. THIS IS NOT ENOUGH. It takes at least 20% fats for optimal hormone production (eg testosterone)

If anything carbs should be lower as most people are pre-diabetic

Prediabetes: In 2012, 86 million Americans age 20 and older had prediabetesa condition in which blood glucose levels are higher than normal but are not high enough for a diagnosis of diabetes. People with prediabetes are at increased risk for developing type 2 diabetes and for heart disease and stroke. Other names for prediabetes are impaired glucose tolerance and impaired fasting glucose; this is up from 79 million in 2010.

I have cut to single digit bodyfat every year for the past 5 years. I have a nearly 600lb deadlift, so if you don't believe the science, believe someone with the experience

[–]Schrodingersdawg 6 points7 points  (14 children)

Do not do this. The breakdown you provide has 11% of total intake being fats. THIS IS NOT ENOUGH. It takes at least 20% fats for optimal hormone production (eg testosterone)

Can any of you autists even do fucking math?

Goal weight 200 lbs.

66 (let's use 70 since round numbers is easier) grams of fat. 70x9= 630 cal

220g protein + 300g carbs = 520g, 520 x 4 = 2080 cal.

That's way more than 11%. Actually around 23% lol

Seriously some dude posts a source and everyone automatically assumes he knows shit.

Believe the guy who can do basic math

Besides, did you actually read your sources?

The effect of dietary lipid consumption on plasma levels of sex-hormone binding globulin (SHBG), free testosterone and cholesterol was studied in 6 normal men.

What a great, terrific sample size.

The effect of dietary fiber and fat on serum sex hormones was studied in premenopausal women.

lol totally relevant demographic

[–]RaptorFalcon -3 points-2 points  (13 children)

Do the math by grams and it is 11%.

The studies I posted posit that MORE fat is absolutely better. But hey what do I know with my 1200+lb total.

[–]Schrodingersdawg -1 points0 points  (12 children)

Yea powerlifters sure drop panties

Stop bragging about your lifts that you still haven't proved. Bitches dont care how big you can lift, they care how you look. That skinnyfat swimmer dude look > powerlifter.

Your first sourced study had only 6 men as subjects.

Your second used women.

Real great subjects.

[–]RaptorFalcon -2 points-1 points  (10 children)

Compared to your broscience? I would say those are good sources comparatively.

As far as this:

That skinnyfat swimmer dude look > powerlifter.

Just wow. You know what I have never seen? A strong powerlifter (who keeps their diet on point) that looks like shit. Now bro bodybuilders I see the same dudes, lifting the same weights year after year, that...shocker! Look the same. Cuz Superset bro!!!!

Sounds like you should jump into our picture contest tonight.

Know what, no need when you post shit like this:

I'm 21 and falling in love. How do you guys know you're falling? Older guys, how does it feel to do so? Does it still feel the same? Does anyone else love it?

I know it's not going to work out, but it feels strange just having this feeling where... I'm happy at these emotions flowing through me. The nervousness, the butterflies, holy hell, this is like being high Fuckkkkkkk I'm actually enjoying Justin Bieber's new album right now

[–]Schrodingersdawg -1 points0 points  (8 children)

Just because you fuck bitches doesn't mean you can't catch feels

Ok, lets go ad hominem.

I'm weighing in at 178 lbs, 315 bench 395 deads 455 squats. That's 1100 lb club. That's a much more balanced ratio than your "I'm 1200 lb club but 600 is dead lifts hurr durr"

What are you, a T-rex?

That the thing. I am incredibly fit, 6'4'', make 6 figures, have no debt, have owned 2 houses, have 3 cars including a classic that I have been restoring......

Go suck your ego's dick more. Totally, totally not lying.

[–]RaptorFalcon -1 points0 points  (7 children)

I'm so in love, I know it's not going to work out, but it feels strange just having this feeling where... I'm happy at these emotions flowing through me. The nervousness, the butterflies, holy hell, this is like being high Fuckkkkkkk I'm actually enjoying Justin Bieber's new album right now

To address your edit: You are damn right I am proud of what I have accomplished, I worked hard for everything I have. Maybe if you would shut up you could learn something from us mid 30s

[–]ForYourSorrows 1 point2 points  (8 children)

Post a picture of your body. You're right that he needs more fat, id say 90-110g but you're making some bold ass claims in the rest of the comment. Let's see it

[–]RaptorFalcon -2 points-1 points  (7 children)

I will absolutely do it when I get off work.

The question is will you as well, since you are giving very specific advice too (without even science to back it up)?

[–]ForYourSorrows 0 points1 point  (5 children)

Sure thing lol. I don't deadlift 600lbs though and I don't claim to be single digit body fat.

Also as a side note, what you said and the studies you posted don't match up. You posted one study about women so that's fairly useless for our purposes and your study on SHBG and testosterone uses less than 20g and more than 100g. My normal recommendation of 90-130g of fat (in this case 90-110g) falls right in line with your posted science. Why should I add to it when it's right there in your own post lol.

[–]Schrodingersdawg 1 point2 points  (3 children)

LOL he must be working some 72 hour shift

[–]ForYourSorrows 1 point2 points  (0 children)

LMAO I had totally forgotten about this.

[–]ForYourSorrows 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I reminded him.. still no pic

[–]RaptorFalcon -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Ok cool, I will actually post pics from my last two cuts so you get two years of results to look at, and no I don't maintain bodyfat that low all year it is near impossible.

My dead is actually 575 if you wanna get technical (also why I said "nearly" ;))

[–]BorneofBlood 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Thanks for the breakdown. With this diet, what would be the ideal amount of calories per day?

[–]Daxxipro1804 0 points1 point  (1 child)

This depends honestly. First find your sitting calorie count per day (forgot the name of this). There are websites all over that you put in your activity level and it roughly shows you what you burn, in calories, each day.

If you want to lean bulk: aim +300ish calories above that. This allows you to gain muscle with minimum fat gain.

If you want to cut: aim -300ish calories below. This allows you to preserve your muscle as much as possible while still loosing fat.

[–]Schrodingersdawg 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Piggybacking, if you go with PEDs the rules change.

[–]grass_cutter 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Unless you're a large man, will take longer than 2-3 months to bench 2 plates, but yeah I hear ya.

[–]Bambam60 6 points7 points  (2 children)

Permission to steal the entrepreneur line? That's A+ stuff.

[–]SinisterSwindler 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That line got me chuckling. A+ for sure.

[–]TheOtherWalternate 7 points8 points  (1 child)

Great story. Your linked article was an excellent summary of a lot of basics. You touched on 16/8 Intermittent Fasting. That was my key to kickstarting a 100+ lb weight loss. I'm getting ready to make the transition to real strength training; I was using a simple machine routine during my weight loss. Definitely going to check out some of your links. Thanks for the great story and info!

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Thanks man, I really appreciate that.

Amazing work on losing over 100 pounds. You probably developed incredible discipline from that.

Must be night and day difference with women now!

Haha how is New Zealand? I'm definitely planning to visit.

[–]sir_shitfuck 5 points5 points [recovered]

Kiwi checking in. Go to the South Island of NZ if you plan on visiting - you will not regret it

[–]Schrodingersdawg 9 points10 points  (1 child)

I started lifting in high school. Couple years later, I found TRP. It took a year of TRP for me to lose my virginity. My second year, I fucked another 4 girls. I got to 9 my third year. Exponential growth, baby

[–]Hillarysdilddo_2016 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Friendly heads up.

First, congrats on the progress. Keep at it, it's a never ending quest.

Blur your face and redact personally identifiable information. You open yourself to things like public shaming and loss of employment under the current regime if you are found to be associated with this sub or even this mode of thought.

From that aspect, tread carefully.

[–]Dirkz 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Solid work, solid post, solid insight. Well done dude.

[–]logicalthinker1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Welcome to masculinity. Tis a beautiful thing

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (2 children)

Which TRP post would you recommend to read for a beginner as best summary and advice and plan. Thanks

[–]LaRedPill 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Everything in the sidebar, then start doing everything they recommend there. Read 30/60 minutes a day, rest of the day develop hobbies, workout, etc.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok thanks yes just 30 mins of reading sounds nice else i am daily surfing net reading, gaining unwanted information.

[–]Jimbo_Camaldulensis 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey mate. If you are in Vic near Melbourne let me know and ill be happy to show you around a few places!

[–]BusterVadge 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I clicked on the link, and you truly have improved yourself. Good job! Lot's of people here are armchair TRP, but you put the principles in action and your value as a man has skyrocketed as a result.

[–]1StoicCrane 7 points8 points  (7 children)

OP in a few weeks if you drink pure water, make peanut butter milkshakes, and organic whey milk shakes you'll lose that 10lbs with ease.

^ No bullshittng. Results through sacrifice but it's worth it

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (3 children)

Man you're jacked.

I need to look into this.

[–]1StoicCrane 12 points13 points  (2 children)

So many hours in the gym it's like my second home. Dude, if you completely sacrifice fast food, eat protein rich foods like eggs, tuna, chicken, and nuts while supplanting your diet with shakes in less than a month you'll feel and look like a different man. It's crazy. Most of the "food" available to the public isn't food. They're designed to make people fat and unhealthy. Imagine if you were back in the Stone Age what food would be available to eat to survive without modern tech and chenicals and go on that diet. Go on the beastman diet and you'll look beastly with time and training.

[–]johnsonsson 11 points12 points  (0 children)

so basically you advocate paleo?

[–]reecewagner 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honest question, is cheese a part of the paleo diet? Because I can eat healthy with effort but I can't seem to shake my cheese cravings.

[–]nuc23 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Whats your work out program brah?

[–]Flerderp_McLerderp 0 points1 point  (1 child)

How long have you been lifting for?

[–]1StoicCrane 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Since around 13-14 stopped at 16. Lifted hard again around 18-19 then stopped. Picked it up again at 24 and I'm 8 months in and plan to keep this up until I'm 80. I'll probably make a user post on the "Benefits of Lifting and Diet" later on at some point. Maybe with a different title.

[–]Hjalmbere 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Great post! Good luck in Oz and keep slaying!

[–]chunderous 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Loved the post. Your transformation speaks volumes to guys everywhere who are doubting their ability to succeed - it's in our DNA to be RP males, and it's only our insecurities holding us back.

Here's to you, OP. But Australia right before summer ... you poor bastard!

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks man. Agree 100%.

I'm Canadian, so I'm looking forward to not being covered in 10FT of snow this winter!

[–]Ambitiouskenji 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a really great post. The motivation i needed this morning.

[–]uberwings 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Saved. Thanks for sharing man

[–]quansau1 1 point2 points  (1 child)

The race thing is still a huge card, women are undeniably more attracted to black dudes of equal caliper to white dude counter parts. This is the rexpill, we can all be honest here. (Side note not trying to diminish your progress or say other races can't achieve status)

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you talking about white women?

[–]plubb 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Also, for the people who didn't click on the link for the pictures, I'm a mid twenties black guy. No excuses for race.

I think, when it comes to getting laid, being a black guy is more an advantage than a disadvantage. But maybe I just think that, because I watched to much porn ;-)

[–]Umbrifer 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Every non black person thinks that.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Finally someone who doesnt blame their lack of game on race.

I live in nyc and had some decently built indian kid amog me at a party and walk off with the girl I was chatting up. Race doesnt mean shit. Lift.

[–]Sensei_Hensei 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's always good to see a minority have success in TRP. It lifts the morale of us others.

[–]uniquevoid 0 points1 point  (0 children)

considering men's smv nowadays in 6 months it is possible to become top 20%, at least in terms of phisique and game

[–]mehdreamer 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Good post man. I'd like to see your input on race and SMV...I can't get over it on my head

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wrote a pretty extensive article about this: https://trumpyourtrait.com/rule-1-class-trumps-all/

But shoot me a message if you have any specific questions.

[–]Jammku 1 points1 points [recovered]

You mentioned finances, but I've scoured this subreddit looking for financial advice and have yet to find one that doesn't involve going to college for 4 years and paying off student debt in your early years.

Got any links or recommendations for acquiring money that doesn't involve grinding out some mediocre full time job?

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

yes, take what you love and find a way to monetize it. It ain't that hard man, read books on how to get started and where to go find a mentor to help you out.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try getting a GED, degenerate.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I told her I was leaving to Australia in two weeks. She said "Two weeks is more than enough time."

seriously, TRP is the bible. not saying this to brag, but instead to demonstrate that TRP works... i swallowed the pill almost a year ago also, and have slept with more gorgeous women in the last year than the rest of my life combined (i'm mid 30s). with TRP, i've fucked 3 separate gorgeous women in a single 24 hour period. it's simply a matter of understanding the rules of the SMP.

[–]wonkehdonkeh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inspirational and great reminder for those who have slipped from trp. Thanks op!

[–]Pycal 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good post man!

Keep it up that way!

[–]iamanenemy 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Always glad to see a brother that's on. We gotta chat, fam.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks man.

Yeah, shoot me a message whenever.

[–]shawn10026722 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Inspiration for a 16 black kid. Thnx man

[–]NotYourTypicalNurse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your article was a good read

[–]fanaticodefutbol 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey I'm completely new to TRP and want to take the pill. How can I start implementing it in my life. I'd be glad if someone could point me towards the right post. Thanks

[–]aanarchist -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

yo good job making the most of what you have, but frankly being a 6'2 dude all you really have to do is not be a complete fuck up and you have it made.

[–]jonknownothing -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

This shit belongs in marketing scam. Could some mod delete some self advertising shit like this?
