Was at a bar Friday night with one of my closest friends. He is currently in a relationship, and living with his girlfriend.

I'm single. By design. Thank you TRP.

We sat there, chatting about life and such. I'm moving to Australia in 2 weeks, so this will be one of the last times I see him for a while.

He makes a comment about how wide my shoulders have gotten over the past little while.

I've been lifting for about a year now. You can see pictures of me in this article, which was at about 6 months of lifting:

I've put on a lot more muscle now, and a bit of fat. I'm currently on a cut, but I'm 6'2, 220. Need to lose about 10 pounds.

The waiter walked over to us. He mentioned that a lady wanted to buy me a drink, anything of my choice. He pointed her out, a few tables away.

She was an attractive early 30's blonde woman. She looked over and waved, with a nice smile.

I went over after a bit. We talked. She told me she was recently divorced. She told me sex becomes boring after a while in a marriage. She told me getting married before 30 was "A stupid idea for men, because they change so much in their twenties".

She asked what I did. I told her I was an entrepreneur. She asked doing what? I told her I sold pencil crayons under a bridge out the back of my truck. She laughed.

I left after a while to get back to my friend, but not before giving her my number, which she demanded.

I told her I was leaving to Australia in two weeks. She said "Two weeks is more than enough time."

This kind of thing happens all the time now. My mindset, body and finances are in a completely different place.

All thanks to following the guidelines on TRP.

Guys, If you work the system, and trust the process, you can be in a completely different place 12 months from now.

Gotta put people on the Anabolic diet + Stronglifts 5x5.

You WILL gain insane muscle, especially once you start benching 2 plates, squatting 3 plates, and deadlifting 4 (perfect form). Once you stick to it and build consistency and give it your all each rep, you'll see noticeable gains in 2 to 3 months.

I've done 5x5 for about 5 years now - on and off, no serious consistency. The most consistent I've ever been in the past is 2 months and then something makes me take a break.

I'll say that for a long time I got a bit stuck on Bench 5x5 @ 210lbs (I weigh around 175lbs to 180lbs, 6'2" with insanely lanky arms). I don't know if it were my form, or diet, or a combination of both, but I'd couldn't get past 210lbs for a minute.

But since starting this diet 1.5 months ago my lifts are now EASY.

So easy, that I broke my Bench 5x5 PR last night while I had a fever and a sore throat - AFTER a looooong ass day of standing up all day from 10AM to 7PM. Exhausted and sick.

For the first time, despite these conditions, I was looking forward to smashing my Bench all day yesterday. Unheard of. Usually I start getting butterflies for heavy lifting, even when healthy. If I felt sick before, I would either go super light, or straight up cancel my workout.

I said fuck that shit, this is something you have to do despite how you feel. Don't think, just do. Like a machine.

Lo and behold, I move on to 215lbs with ease. Within 10lbs of my 2016 goal of 225lbs Bench. And even with my lanky arms and poor conditions - it wasn't a struggle.

How the fuck?

Anabolic diet.

Red animal meat & veggies and good fats are a miracle drug.

HGH is GOAT. Steroids just helps recovery but HGH increases height AND muscle in such short amount of time. Add supreme drive and some talent and you're lookin at elite level fitness (aka 99.9999999% of all athletes alive today)

Anabolism is the synthesis of muscle. An anabolic diet is one in surplus of your TDEE

My bodybuilder friend puts it as 1.1x your ideal weight in grams of protein, 1.5 in carbs, and .333 times in fat. So if you're aiming for 200 lbs, 220protein 300 carbs 70ish fat.

66 (let's use 70 since round numbers is easier) grams of fat. 70x9= 630 cal

220g protein + 300g carbs = 520g, 520 x 4 = 2080 cal.

That's way more than 11%. Actually around 23% lol

Sure thing lol. I don't deadlift 600lbs though and I don't claim to be single digit body fat.

Also as a side note, what you said and the studies you posted don't match up. You posted one study about women so that's fairly useless for our purposes and your study on SHBG and testosterone uses less than 20g and more than 100g. My normal recommendation of 90-130g of fat (in this case 90-110g) falls right in line with your posted science. Why should I add to it when it's right there in your own post lol.

This depends honestly. First find your sitting calorie count per day (forgot the name of this). There are websites all over that you put in your activity level and it roughly shows you what you burn, in calories, each day.

If you want to lean bulk: aim +300ish calories above that. This allows you to gain muscle with minimum fat gain.

If you want to cut: aim -300ish calories below. This allows you to preserve your muscle as much as possible while still loosing fat.

Great story. Your linked article was an excellent summary of a lot of basics. You touched on 16/8 Intermittent Fasting. That was my key to kickstarting a 100+ lb weight loss. So many hours in the gym it's like my second home. Dude, if you completely sacrifice fast food, eat protein rich foods like eggs, tuna, chicken, and nuts while supplanting your diet with shakes in less than a month you'll feel and look like a different man. It's crazy. Most of the "food" available to the public isn't food. They're designed to make people fat and unhealthy. Imagine if you were back in the Stone Age what food would be available to eat to survive without modern tech and chenicals and go on that diet. Go on the beastman diet and you'll look beastly with time and training.

Since around 13-14 stopped at 16. Lifted hard again around 18-19 then stopped. Picked it up again at 24 and I'm 8 months in and plan to keep this up until I'm 80. I'll probably make a user post on the "Benefits of Lifting and Diet" later on at some point. Maybe with a different title.

seriously, TRP is the bible. not saying this to brag, but instead to demonstrate that TRP works... i swallowed the pill almost a year ago also, and have slept with more gorgeous women in the last year than the rest of my life combined (i'm mid 30s). with TRP, i've fucked 3 separate gorgeous women in a single 24 hour period. it's simply a matter of understanding the rules of the SMP.
